Hello! I am a Greek qualified licensed tour guide since 1995 and have been guiding since all over Greece.  

Who I really am besides that?

A passionate enthusiast and researcher about anything artistic, handmade, tasty , historic , spiritual, traditional, diverse. Born in Athens, but originated from Kos island, brought up on Kos which is practically my motherland. 

Studied byzantine iconography, various foreign languages, participated in archaeological excavation programs and studied guiding at the Greek National Guides Academy which is where I got my diploma and license.

Being a tourist guide has always inspired me to figure out what has always been there. Guiding is not all about mentioning things that can easily be found online with unreliable information sometimes. It goes beyond that. As I always said – Greece beyond moussaka and tzatziki (They are delicious by the way). Exploring the ancient sites-for example it’s all about bringing them back to life, connecting the people to the time lapse, the adventures, the ups and the downs, and the elements that created our human civilization. The exchange of information, travelling, giving and taking is what will broad our horizon.

Travelling the world for over 27 years has taught me the similarities and diversities of people’s backgrounds. Moreover guiding my motherland can only make me feel good, and it’s more than earning a living. I speak Greek, English , Italian, basic Hebrew and Latin but also with associates in Polish/German/Russian/French. 3 Island cruise from Kos

Discover the three-island magic in one trip. You will be given the chance to get a taste of three very beautiful Dodecanese islands, Kalymnos, Pserimos, and Plati with the wooden boat.

First stop, Vathi on Kalymnos . A wonderful natural “fjord”, with picturesque taverns and clear emerald waters. There is no beach there, but diving from the pier will refund you.

The second stop is the islet of Plati. Diving from the boat into the crystal clear Aegean waters is a “must”. This is a shortstop but you’ve got enough time to swim to the island which is now uninhabited. A small tip: carry a small plastic bag with you on the island; you might want to take some seashells and pebbles as a souvenir.

Third stop, Pserimos : You can walk from the port to the beach with the small taverns, the amazing locals who sell sponges, spices, and flavorings, have a greek coffee, swim, walk to Panagia-the island’s church and the picturesque school, or walk up some stairs for a panoramic view of the island.

The captain and the crew will see to a very beautiful trip, which includes a barbeque on board and a great chance to see dolphins!

We (2adults and child of 7) went on the 3 island tour with this company on the Odyssey boat which was absolutely excellent value for the all inclusive cost of €75 which included collection and return to our hotel in ... read more a lovely Mercedes minibus, the tour which included a lunch (pork kebab and salad) was excellent from start to finish including letting the child have a go at steering the boat! Trip includes dolphin spotting, lunch stop with souvenir shopping time, another stop in a lovely area which allowed a good hour swimming from the boat (life jacket for the child and adults if required), a final stop to allow time on a beautiful beach, sunbathing and swimming before a great return trip. Onboard the toilets were clean and reasonable for a boat (men’s and women’s) onboard bar with reasonably priced drinks so not being ripped off on the drinks! Music onboard for the full trip which was not too loud and a great mix. Crew were tremendously helpful and pleasant, nothing too much trouble. COVID requirements were for masks when boarding and when in harbour but apart from that no requirement to wear, liberal hand sanitizers around the boat and a non-contact temperature check when boarding. Not told CASH ONLY for drinks on boat - so we went thirsty in the heat. The uninhabited beach you are taken to is opposite huge noisy stone quarry with a view of all the mechanics. BBQ very disappointing: Adults - 2 skewers of chewy meat. Pile of white onion with small segments of tomato and half a slice of cucumber. 2 small pieces of dry/stale bread. Kids portion is just half of the aforementioned. Not pre-warned that not recommended to climb volcano if asthmatic. Felt like too much time on some aspects and not enough/rushed on others. The beach was a short strip of nice, albeit absolutely empty sand, clear water on a Island now inhabited by two large stone quarries. It was like swimming in a industrial area. We were told we got 40 minutes (arrived at 11:10, left at 11:40, so more like 30 minutes). Quite the let down. Then over to the next Island of Mandraki. Gathered there, got a bit of talk at a little shop making Obsidian jewelry, different creams and such, which are, of course sort of part of the excursion, hoping you'll buy something off 'em. Then was lunch. A small (probably nice restaurant) where we got each served two piece of souvlaki on a stick, some Tzatziki, tomatoes, onions and cucumber. We couldn't sit down at the restaurant, but instead on the wall by the sea (under the bright, intense sun) and drinks were NOT included. Then we made our way to the bus for the 20-30 ride to the Volcano, the Stefanoskrater. If you're into that sort of stuff and love the smell of Sulfur, go ahead, but wasn't really for us. Got 40-45 minutes there. Nice scenery and a cute small Café with acceptable prices, but that's about it. Then we returned back down to the city where the A/C in the bus decided to cut out. I guess it happens. In the town, we got 2h of free time to explore which was actually pretty nice. Lots of small alleys, lots of cats, cute Restaurants and Cafés. I recommend the "Oxos Restaurant" out west on the outskirts of town just beneath the monastery. Lovely place, a adorable hand written menu and super acceptable prices for the location. All in all, it really wasn't a amazing trip. Paid 58€ per person, so I guess, considering the bus and boat rides, it's fair, but not really a excursion I would do again or really recommend. I assume this means that it was not worth picking me up to take me to Kardemena where the boat leaves from. I think it is very poor and unprofessional for a Company to not honour its commitments. This was the main trip I was looking forward to on this holiday. It was too late to book an alternative and put a damper on the whole holiday. A fairly short drive off road to a viewing point overlooking Turkey and the islands was the only stop (5mins) on the tour apart from dinner. Lots of other nice views but only from moving vehicle window and so unable to stop to get pictures. Vehicle cramped with 6 passengers, especially if over 6ft tall! Of all the things to do in your holidays at Kos, this 3 island cruise is a must-not-miss event! Odyssey boat,  will take you to a unique short cruise at the nearby islands of Kalymnos, Plati and Pserimos.

Departure is at 10:00 in the morning from the main harbour of Kos. That is when the boat heads to the first out of three islands you will visit. Each stop lasts for about an hour, plenty of time to see and enjoy these beautiful, little places! There is also a full lunch offered on the boat free of charge as well as a bar supplied with drinks and snacks for you to buy. Finally, the boat returns to Kos at 17:00 to leave you full of memories of a happy, relaxing day at sea!

VATHI-KALYMNOS

Your first stop is Vathi, a beautiful village on the island Kalymnos. The boat enters a magnificent natural fjord and as the valley of Vathi is slowly revealed, you have the chance to take pictures of the surrounding gulfs and caves. You will have 1 hour to explore, you can walk the peaceful streets of Vathi, try local sweets and the famous homemade orange juices, and watch the history of the island unfold before your eyes.

Kalymnos, ofcourse, is world wide famous for its sponge industry. So while in Vathi you will have the chance to visit the sponge factory where you can learn how the sponges are collected by local divers, and see how they are processed in order to get their final form.

When you return to the boat, a buffet lunch will be ready for you. The normal menu is pork or chicken Souvlaki, salad, tzatziki and bread. There is also a vegetarian option with beans and dolmades instead of meat.

Located between Kos and Kalymnos this island is our next destination. The boat anchors close to the land and once the engines stop, you can jump in and swim around the boat. The sea is unbelievably clear, meaning you can easily notice the sandy bottom through the blue and turquoise waters. Meanwhile, on the boat, happy hour will start and the barman will serve refreshing cocktails at low prices.

The last stop is Pserimos, which is inhabited by only 15 families during the winter and gets busier in the summer. You will have 1 hour here to explore. Swim on the shallow, sandy beach, discover hidden paths or just relax at a local cafeteria or taverna. Finally, the boat will return to Kos at about 5:15 PM and you will leave with unforgettable memories of your beautiful cruise.

The Aegean is sea of wonders! Due to its mild temperature and its unique waters it is the residence of a lot of kind of sea creatures.

That is why after lunch, the boat pays a visit to the fish farms nearby. The smell of the fish attracts wild dolphins and most of the time you will see them jumping out of the water!

Had a great day out with family and friends today. Boat looks amazing for a start. The crew were so upbeat and enjoying their job which makes everyone happy. The food was perfectly simple and cooked lovely. The trip itself was great to All 3 destinations. Fairly short stops to grab a glimpse of different places and at the end jumping in the sea from side of the ship and an inflatable slide into rhe lovely crystal clear waters. Cannot recommend enough.
