Exciting Jet Ski Rentals

2019 Sea-Doo GTI Pro 1-2ppl (130hp)

The Sea-Doo GTI Pro offers an outstanding blend of performance and practicality. With 130hp it will reach speeds of 50-55mph and the wide hull design keeps participants dryer while riding in mild conditions. Limited to a 400lb load, this vessel can comfortably seat two within the weight limit. Rental skis are limited to a ride area in the Gulf of Mexico, 5 miles by 2 miles.

*Price does not include tax or fuel.

Drivers must provide per ski:

• Valid State or Federally issued I.D.
• Major credit card for a $500.00 deposit. The deposit is not the limit of your financial liability, and you are responsible for any damages incurred during your rental.
• N.A.S.B.L.A. Accredited Boaters License (Not required for drivers born before January 1, 1988).
• A charged cell phone to maintain communication with rental staff at the docks.

Our jet ski riding area is 10 square miles, providing plenty of space to go fast and far. Each jet ski can carry up to 350 lbs., making this a perfect option for all ages and groups. Take the family out or gather a group of friends for an exciting adventure.

Guided Jet Ski Tours

Jet ski tours are our favorite way to explore the local waters. With a local guide in the lead, you’ll go in search of hidden islands and pods of playful dolphins. The tour is set to the pace of those participating and aims to provide an exciting adventure for all ages. Special requests can be made at the time of booking for particular areas of interest and destinations.

Common Destinations of interest: Shell Key Wildlife Preserve, Bunce’s Pass Sandbar, John’s Pass Sandbar, Ft. DeSoto State Park.

Destinations and areas of interest are available based on water conditions at the time of departure.

• Tours depart at 10:00 AM, and 1:00 PM, weather permitting.
• Rates: 2 hrs – $199.00 per ski (max load 400 lbs).
• Minimum of 2 skis must be participating for the tour to depart.
• Reservations are encouraged.

Drivers must provide:

• Major credit card for a $500.00 deposit.
• Cell phone and something to protect it.

How To Get A Temporary Boating License In State Of Florida:

• Register here and pay the course fee
• Study the material and/or take the test
• Once you’ve passed the test, complete your certificate info and create your 4-digit PIN
• Download or print your course completion document and bring it with you

Great staff and very friendly. They were very helpful with information on where you are able to drive and good places to check out. Our kids had a lot of fun! They also were very helpful with carrying your items out of the boat.

The staff are absolutely incredible and very happy to be there. Everyone was so nice to us even though we did not know much about jet skiing. The jet ski’s were so perfect and it’s definitely something I’m going to do again!

Rented a couple jet skis for my kids birthdays.... was the most fun I've had in years! Spent an hour on the water with my kids having a great time and doing something we'll still talk about 10 years from now. Highly recommend!

JOHN'S PASS HISTORY

Johns Pass, which connects Boca Ciega Bay to the Gulf of Mexico, was created by a hurricane in 1848. This hurricane, as ledgend has it, likely affect one person more than any other at the time – John Levique. Everyone talks of John Levique (or Leveque) and his stature as a Floridian folk hero. It is a fact he was French by birth but it’s questionable if he was a pirate. Supposedly Levique buried a chest of pieces of eight and doubloons (possibly ill gotten) around Madeira Beach prior to the Hurricane of 1848.

While trading Green Turtles for gold in New Orleans, Levique and his partner, a Spaniard named Silva, made their way back to Madeira Beach. When they arrived they found that the Gale of 1848 had cut Madeira Beach in half. Levique’s gold was no where to be found with this drastic change in the landscape. Johns Pass or “The Pass” is named after Levique and there’s even a John Levique Pirate Day. The lore goes on to say that Levique continued to live here here in Johns Pass for the remainder of his life…searching for his treasure chest. Maybe you’ll be the one to find Levique’s treasure while on your watersports adventure in John Pass!

I have been navigating the US waters for nearly 15 years beginning in San Francisco bay where I purchased my first vessel, a 24 foot Bayliner, “The Marmallee I” named after my late sister Marmallee. I quickly outgrew this and acquired a 34 foot Rinker which I named The Marmallee II since I didn’t even have my first vessel for a year!

In addition to myself, all charters are Captained by a licensed USCG Captain and navigate completely under USCG regulations. We keep all required safety gear and then some on board including GPS tracking, Satellite SOS emergency transponders, life vests, first aid supplies, life raft for 8, additional inflatable rafts, above and beyond what is required to ensure a safe and memorable charter.

Our son was home from the army so we rented a 21’ deck boat for the day. We had an awesome time on the water. We were on the water shortly after we arrived. They make renting a boat super easy. We will definitely be back in the near future.

Any person born after Jan 1, 1988, must take the temporary boating test, the test is 25 multiple choice questions you can do it online or in person at the location.
