History & Mythology

It is believed that the temple was established by Adi Shankaracharya and has been renovated multiple times since. In the 9th Century, the holy town of Badrinath was re-established by Adi Shankaracharya.

It is believed that pilgrims used to walk hundreds of miles to pay obeisance at the sacred sides. Apart from being an integral member of Char Dham Yatra, it is also one of the Panch Badri.

The area is known as Badri – signifying the dedication to Lord Vishnu and his dual form of Nara-Narayana. Thus, you would have heard in the Mahabharata, Krishna telling Arjun- You were Nara in former body and Narayana for your compassion and didst perform shocking harshness at Badri for many many years”.

In fact, the mountains are mentioned in Mahabharata multiple times- Pandavas are said to have ended their life after climbing their Ascent to Heaven –Swargarohini. It is believed that Pandavas traversed through Badrinath and the town of Mana.

Another story goes that when Ganga was asked to descend to earth to help the suffering humankind – the earth was unable to handle the sheer force and then Ganga was split into 12 holy channels – Alaknanda river being one.

Located in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand, Badrinath lies between Nar and Narayana mountain ranges, right in the shadow of the Neelkantha peak. There are several turquoise lakes, beautifully stunning mammoth peaks and scared ponds as well as water bodies that truly makes Badrinath for a must visit!

Like most Himalayan places at an elevation of over 10,000 ft. – Badrinath is always a heaven for people who enjoy cool weather. Winters are especially cold – and often inaccessible. In the summer months, you’ll experience temperatures in Summers ranging from 8 to 19°C and Winters from -7 to 5°C.

Best time to visit Badrinath

Badrinath is open for 6 months of the year. However, if you want the most peaceful of journeys – visit right before the closing of the journey dates – i.e. a few weeks before Diwali. May and June might also be an okay time to visit but you’ll experience huge queues and influx of pilgrims at this time. Best avoided during monsoon season.

How to get there

The third on the Char Dham Yatra, it is an easy journey to take upon.

Jolly Grant Airport is the nearest Airport to Badrinath. It is situated 314 KMs from our humble abode. There are multiple flights per day from Delhi. There are taxis easily available for sharing and personal combination easily.

The nearest railway station is Rishikesh, situated at a distance of 295 KMs on NH58. Rishikesh, being an important, integral Hindu pilgrimage is also well connected to major Indian cities. Taxis, buses are easily available from Rishikesh. Also, it should be noted that in terms of connectivity – Haridwar railway station is a viable option as well.

Badrinath enjoys decent road connectivity and is well connected with Ghaziabad by NH58. You’ll easily catch buses to Rishikesh from ISBT Kashmiri Gate, Delhi. You can then hire a taxi to reach Badrinath. Alternatively, you can drive up to Badrinath as well.

Things to do in Badrinath

The primary attraction in visiting Badrinath is of course to pay respects and embark upon the pilgrimage.

Badrinath Temple

The temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and is also one of the 108 Divya Desams/ holy shrines of Vaishnavites. The temple is conical in shape and there are 15 idols present in the temple complex. Each of these idols are built in black stone. The idol of Vishnuji is in a meditative stage, encouraging the devotees to seek their inner calm as well.

The architecture of the temple will surely draw you in. It has a striking resemblance to a Buddhist temple and the façade is built out of stone with arched windows. You will definitely want to explore the sheer magnitude of the 50 feet tall temple and enjoy the calmness it imbibes in you!

Apart from the temple – it is integral that you also visit the Tapt Kund – a natural thermal spring on the banks of Alaknanda. The temperatures in the spring touch 45 degrees Celsius – thus, making for a welcome change from the surrounding climate, apart from having healing properties. The Tapt Kund is regarded as the residing place of Agni Deva (God of Fire).

Narad Kund is adorned in the holy town of Badrinath and is the second prominent attraction of Badrinath. It is a sacred place from where Adi Shankara discovered the idol of Lord Vishnu. Narad Kund is a bay in river Alaknanda and is naturally enclosed by a rock.

While the main reason to visit Badrinath is of course the pilgrimage, you’ll be remiss to not explore the nearby regions!

Vasudhara Falls

Literally translated to sweet nectar, Vasudhara Falls is one of the most enchanting places to visit in Uttarakhand. This beautiful cascade drops from a height of 400 feet. It is believed that the blissful attractiveness of the Vasudhara falls can only be enjoyed by those who are pure and unstained from guilt.

Given that it is a remote destination, you may imagine the sheer beauty and the heartwarming ambiance of this waterfall. This truly is like visiting a shrine for people whose religion is nature itself!

Mana village

Mana, the last Indian village prior to India’s border with Tibet in the Himalayas, is located in the district of Chamoli. It’s been designated as a “Tourism Village” by the Uttarakhand government.

Mana village is one of the best tourist attractions nearby to Badrinath, It’s just 3 km from Badrinath town. The village is on the banks of the River Saraswati. It is situated at a height of around 3219 meters. The village is surrounded by Himalayan hills.

Best places to eat in Badrinath

Since the holy town of Badrinath is situated at an elevation of 3,300 meters, you will be a bit hard pressed to find many restaurants here. There are only a handful of food joints and dhabas here. The food served is mostly North Indian with a few Indo-Chinese delicacies.

However, the choices are limited. Of course, goes without saying – non-vegetarian food is not served here. One must visit food place that serves mouth-watering delicacies is Saket Restaurant, located near the Temple Bridge. While the place is usually packed, you can enjoy the sound of the river, with a view of the temple while relishing on some piping hot Parathas.

• Be respectful of the place and refrain in indulging in any activities that might harm the sentiments of the pilgrims. This includes alcohol & smoking as well as eating non-vegetarian food.
• Wear conservative clothes. This is a pilgrimage and holds high reverence in the hearts of all Hindus. Thus, ensure you’re not offending anyone here – the place means a lot to its visitors.

On arrival check into the hotel and get refreshed. After freshening up now it’s time for Ganga aarti. Drive to Har - ki - Pauri and enjoy the spiritual atmosphere at Ganga aarti. After the aarti drives back to the hotel. Now it’s time to have some dinner. After dinner, your overnight stay will be at the hotel.

2 Day 2 : Haridwar to Sitapur Overnight Stay (236 km/ 8 hr)

After having breakfast check out from the hotel for your journey to Sitapur via Devprayag and Rudraprayag. On route, you can have the view of the Mandakini river at Tilwara, and also visit the Narishwar temple in Guptkashi. On arrival at Sitapur, you will check into the hotel. After getting fresh and relaxed, have your dinner in the Hotel only. End your day by an overnight stay in a Hotel.

3 Day 3 : Sitapur to Gaurikund (4km), Gaurikund to Kedarnath By Trek (17 km) & Overnight in Kedarnath

Wake up and enjoy your spiritual morning in the lap of nature. Get refreshed and have a morning breakfast in the hotel and get ready to visit the one holy shrine among the four holy shrines of Uttarakhand. Drive towards Sonprayag and from Sonprayag you will hire a local taxi to Gaurikund. You can reach the Kedarnath temple by Pony/ Doli etc. By Trek: In the morning the driver will drop you at Sonprayag and then you have to hire a local jeep till Gaurikund and then your approx 17 km trek will start till Kedarnath temple. After performing prayers in the temple you will be transferred to the hotel at Kedarnath. Get refreshed and have your dinner in a hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

4 Day 4 : Kedarnath to Sitapur Overnight Stay

The next morning after attending morning aarti at Kedarnath temple, you will be returning back to the hotel for breakfast. After having breakfast you will be checking out of the hotel. Then you will trek down to Gaurikund and from there you will hire a local taxi to Sonprayag. From Sonprayad you will be picked up by the tempo traveler and will be transfered to the hotel at Sitapur. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Sitapur.

5 Day 5 : Sitapur to Rishikesh Overnight Stay (211 km/ 6 hr)

Here begins a refreshing morning, get refreshed, and have your morning breakfast in the hotel. After breakfast, it’s time to check out from the hotel. You will be driven back to Rishikesh in almost 7 hours approx. After a busy day, it’s time to check into the camp and have some relaxing time by enjoying a bonfire and light music. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

6 Day 6 : Rishikesh to Delhi Departure (261 km/ 6 hr)

The last day of your tour has already begun. Get refreshments and have your breakfast in the hotel only. Now it’s time to pack all your stuff and check out from the hotel. Before departure, you will be visiting the major attractions of Rishikesh like ram jhula, Lakshman jhula, etc. You will be derived back to Delhi in almost 6 hours approx. Here you will be dropped with the sweet memory of your trip for your onward journey.

We will notify you with such changes in prior over the phone or through the mail or the best communication method available at that point of time. Those changes may occur due to situations beyond our control like weather problems, cancellations of trains, flights, and political unrest, etc. We will try our best to keep the tour unchanged. However, any compensation or any refund due to such changes will not be paid by us.

Hotel Bookings

Hotel bookings are made by us on behalf of our customers. We are having a tie-up with many hotels. Although all rates are updated on our website, still there are chances that the rates of Hotels may go up/down. Sometimes rates of the hotel are hiked during long weekends and during festive seasons. It is better that you confirm the rates before making an online payment over the mail. The quality of the room, amenities or meals which are displayed in photos on hotel websites may vary. Booking of the rooms on the same floor/adjacent rooms/ non-smoking rooms in any hotel is not guaranteed. The right to change the pre-booked hotel or the category of rooms is reserved, anytime during the tour due to overbooking of a hotel, blocking of the sewage, electricity/water failure, etc.

Check-in/ Check-out times of Hotel / Resorts may vary from city to city. please check these timings before making the booking. Early check-in and late checkout will be charged extra and are subject to the availability of the rooms. Policies for accommodating children and for extra beds may vary from hotel to hotel.

Vehicle Bookings

Vehicles are booked on behalf of our customers. We aim to provide the best available vehicle with the best services to our clients. The costs of diesel/petrol prices, interstate taxes, vehicle maintenance cost, toll & taxes, etc are beyond our control. Rates displayed on our website are eligible for change at any time without any prior notice.

The pre-booked vehicle can be changed to a similar category of vehicle in case of non-availability of the pre-booked vehicle.

Air-conditioned, as well as non-air-conditioned vehicles are booked as per request. If the air conditioner stops working due to technical fault at any time during the tour will not be our responsibility. No refund or change in the vehicle will be made in between the trip unless the vehicle is not in the condition to go further.

Amendments or changes after booking

If you wish to do amendments or change the prior booking, you have to inform us in writing on mail.

Amendment or changes in any booking will be treated as a new booking and will be subject to availability at that time and the additional cost will be charged. The additional cost will be borne by you. There will be an amendment charge of Rs.1000/- applicable.

• Cancellation Policy

Cancelation of the booking will be informed to us in writing on mail. The cancellation charges will be applicable depending upon the services. Cancellation of the hotels and airlines will be done according to their own cancellation policies.

The cancellation for a package tour, be applicable as follows :

• Cancellation before clear 30 working days or more prior to the date of departure of the Tour: 25% of the total tour cost will be charged.
• Cancellation before clear 29 to 16 working days prior to the date of departure of the Tour: 50% of the total tour cost will be charged.
• Cancellation before less than 15 clear working days prior to the date of departure of the Tour: 100% of the total tour cost will be charged.

Balance Payment                          

• The complete balance payment has to be made before the starting date of the trip. However, the company can ask you anytime to clear the balance payment before 30 days from the date of departure.
• The right is reserved to amend/change the prices offered for the tour and to adjust our charges due to various factors like currency fluctuations, special/high season charge levied by the suppliers, fuel price rise, travel arrangements, hike in any government taxes or visa amounts or for any other reason before the date of departure. All such increased price must be paid before your departure (Full and final).

No refund for unutilized services

There will be no refund or compensation provided for services that are not used. If you fail to avail/use any services due to any reason the company will not provide any kind of refund or any other services as the compensation of the unutilized services.

Tungnath is the world’s highest temple of Lord Shiva. The temple situated at the high altitude areas of Himalayas. It is 3 km away from the road. The trek is very beautiful.

Deoriyatal Lake is situated 3 km away from the Sari village in Chopta-Ukhimath road. The lake is surrounded by beautiful snow-capped mountains. The lakeside is best for camping at night.

The legendary tale behind, Kedarnath shiv dham, is that of the Pandavas. They felt guilty after killing their own relatives and to get over the guilt, they walked into the kingdom of Lord Shiva. Shiva thought of making the process bit complex and he started roaming as a bull in the forests of Garhwal. When discovered by the Pandavas, Bhima tried to catch him and was unsuccessful. After many repeated attempts, he caught hold of just the bull’s hump. It is said that the other body parts were found at different places. Navel was found at Tunganath and the face in Rudranath with the hair at Kalpeswar. The glory of the tale was kept alive by Adi Shankaracharya, when he re established it after the Pandvas built it, decades back.

On the way to Kedarnath, there is a place called Gaurikund, it is said that Goddess Parvati meditated here for days to marry Lord Shiva. The place is well graced by hot springs. Up in Haridwar, Har ki pauri, a world famous Ganga Ghat, a traveller can experience the sacred Ganga Aarti. It is also the place where Kumbh and Ardha Kumbh, the largest human congregation takes place. King Vikramaditya, has built these ghats for sacred bathing, in memory of his brother, Bhatrihari, who once came to meditate in Haridwar. In the east of Ganga River, few kilometres from Haridwar amid the mighty Himalayas, lies a sprawling Wildlife Sanctuary, Chila Wildlife Sanctuary. Travellers here can go for jeep safaris too.

To get a spot for clear view of the Aarti, you need to start a little early. You also do some spiritual activities like Sadhu Seva, Brahman Bhojan at the Ganga Ghat.

The temple built in the 8th century, has a pyramidal rock in the Garbha Griha which is devoted as Lord Shiva by the pilgrims. After darshan and offering your prayer, you will return to your hotel.

Day 1: Delhi - Haridwar (210 kms/5 hrs)

Drive to Haridwar by street. (210 kms/5 hrs). Lunch in transit. Check in at your inn in Haridwar. Night is free for you to appreciate the city all alone. Evening Ganga Arti at Har Ki Pauri. Overnight remain at Ganga Lahari. The bundle incorporates Lunch and Dinner.

Day 2: Haridwar – Barkot (185 kms/7 hrs)

After breakfast drive to Barkot. On the way appreciates delightful lunch at wayside eatery. Barkot is known for its breathtaking perspectives of snow-clad mountains all around. An entrancing perspective of the snow pinnacles of Bandar punch can be appreciated from here. Supper and overnight at The Chardham Camp, Barkot. The bundle incorporates Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 3: Barkot – Yamunotri – Barkot (38 kms/2 hrs, neighborhood taxi drive 7 kms/1 hrs, 6 kms/3 hrs trek one way)

After early breakfast, we will leave for Hanumanchatti by means of Syanachatti (5 km before Hanumanchatti). On achieving Hanumanchatti we will take nearby taxicabs for Jankichatti. From Jankichatti, after a trek of 6 km/3 hrs we achieve Yamunotri to visit the sanctuary of Goddess Yamuna, arranged on the bank of the waterway. A blessed dunk is taken in the adjacent tank filled by hot springs, the basic customs did by the pioneers. From that point at night we come back to Barkot. Supper at The Chardham Camp, Barkot. Overnight remain in Barkot.

Day 4: Barkot – Harsil (151 kms, 6-7 hrs)

After breakfast, we will continue to Harsil – one the most wonderful valleys on the planet. In transit we will stop at Gangnani for boiling point water spring plunge. Supper and overnight at The Chardham Camp, Harsil. Bundle incorporates Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 5: Harsil – Gangotri – Uttarkashi (105 Kms)

After breakfast, drive to Gangotri (22 kms/1 hr). On achieving Gangotri, take a blessed dunk in the consecrated stream The Ganges, which is called Bhagirathi at its source. Perform pooja and different customs and unwind in the lovely condition. Return back to Harsil toward the evening for Lunch. After lunch drive for Uttarkashi. Supper at the Hotel, Uttarkashi. Overnight remain at Uttarkashi. The bundle incorporates Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 6: Uttarkashi– Guptakashi (212 kms/8-9 hrs)

After early morning breakfast, leave for Guptakashi (230 kms). Have your Lunch while in transit to Guptakashi. Supper at the Chardham Camp, Guptakashi. Overnight remain at Guptakashi. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner is incorporated into the bundle.

Highway 1-the drive is of 212 kms/8 Hrs and can be explored by littler vehicles. This course can be taken by Tempo Traveler.

Uttarkashi-Chaurangikhal-Lumbgaon-Peepaldali-Kirtinagar-Srinagar-Rudraprayag-Aagastmuni-Chandrawali-Guptakashi.

Highway 2-The trek is of 280 kms/10 Hrs. It can be utilized by every one of the vehicles.

Uttarkashi-Dharasu-Chinialisod-Chamba-Zero Point( vis Bhagirathi Puarm)- Gadolia-Maletha-Kirtinagar-Srinagar-Rudraprayag-Aagastmuni-Chandrawali-Guptakashi.

Day 7: Guptakashi – Kedarnath - (32 kms drive-1 hr/21 kms Trek/8 hrs)

After breakfast, we will leave for Gaurikund (32 kms/1 hr). Subsequent to taking a heavenly plunge at Taptakund, we will leave for our trek to Kedarnath (21 kms/5 hrs). By the night, we will reach Kedarnath Temple for Darshan, Aarti and pooja. Overnight stay Kedarnath. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner are incorporated into the bundle.

Day 8: Kedarnath – Guptakashi (21 kms Trek – 3 hrs/32 kms Drive – 1 hr)

Day 9: Guptakashi – Joshimath by Chopta (141 kms/5-6 hrs)

After breakfast, we will begin our adventure to Joshimath (141 kms/5-6 hrs), a standout amongst the most striking destinations on the whole outing. Take the joy of the delightful drive through remedial woodland. On landing in Joshimath, under control into your Chardham camp. You can investigate Joshimath all alone in the free night. Day 10: Joshimath – Badrinath – Joshimath (45 kms drive one way/2 hrs)

After breakfast, we will leave for our trek to Badrinath. Subsequent to touching base to Badrinath, take sacred Darshan and investigate Mana Village. By the night we will return back to Joshimath. Day 12: Rishikesh– Delhi

Uttarakhand, also known as Devbhoomi or the Land of Gods, is home to numerous temples and welcomes devotees all year round. Among the countless religious sites and circuits that devotees visit in Uttarakhand, one of the most prominent is the Char Dham Yatra. This Yatra or pilgrimage is a tour of four holy sites - Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath – nestled high up in the Himalayas. In Hindi, 'char' means four and 'dham' refers to religious destinations.

The high-altitude shrines remain shut for around six months every year, opening in summers (April or May) and closing with the onset of winter (October or November). It is believed that one should complete the Char Dham Yatra in a clockwise direction. Hence, the pilgrimage starts from Yamunotri, proceeds towards Gangotri, onto Kedarnath, and finally ends at Badrinath. The journey can be completed by road or by air (helicopter services are available). Some devotees even do a Do Dham Yatra or a pilgrimage to two shrines - Kedarnath and Badrinath.

The Yamunotri temple, lodged in a narrow gorge close to the source of River Yamuna (the second-most sacred Indian river after River Ganga) in Uttarkashi district, is dedicated to Goddess Yamuna. The district of Uttarkashi is also home to Gangotri dedicated to Goddess Ganga, the most sacred of all Indian rivers. Located in the Rudraprayag district lies Kedarnath, dedicated to Lord Shiva. Badrinath, home to the sacred Badrinarayan Temple, is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. The Char Dham Yatra is as divine as it is arduous but fulfills the soul!

Ans : If you forget to register yourself before starting the journey, you can also do registration during travelling through the Tourist Care Uttarakhand portal or visit the registration centres.

Q6: How to reach Kedarnath?  

Ans : In order to visit Char Dham or any of the dhams, one has to first reach Haridwar or Rishikesh. Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun is around 20 km away from Rishikesh. This airport is well connected with all major cities in India. The nearest railway stations to reach Kedarnath are Rishikesh (around 200 km away) or Haridwar (around 120 km). From Rishikesh or Haridwar one can start the yatra by Yatra Buses run by GMVN Ltd, GMOU Ltd. and TGMOU Ltd. Taxi service is also available from Haridwar and Rishikesh to Gaurikund, the last road stop before Kedarnath.

Itinerary - Kedarnath Badrinath Yatra Package

The most awaited Badrinath Kedarnath Dham Yatra starts as you arrive at Haridwar. You will be picked up from the Haridwar Railway station for a straight drive to Guptkashi.

The name of this holy place, referred to as "Hidden Varanasi” is connected to Kedarnath by several means. According to mythology, this is the place where Lord Shiva concealed himself when the Pandava brothers were searching for his divine glimpse. Lord Shiva first hid at Guptkashi but later went up and reached the valley to Kedarnath. Here the Pandavas finally got His darshan, and their wish was fulfilled.

Guptkashi is where the pandas (hereditary pilgrimage priests) of Kedarnath live during the winter when the temple is closed. Also, the Bigraha (idol) of Kedarnath passes through Guptkashi to reach Ukhimath, where the idol is worshiped for six months of winter.

On arrival at Guptkashi, check in at the hotel and take a rest. This place has pleasant weather in summer, with temperatures ranging from 25°C to 30°C. In the evening, visit the Ardhnarishwar Temple, beside the Vishwanath Temple, where the deity is half male and half female, symbolizing Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati.

Overnight stay at the Hotel.

Your day 2 of the Badrinath Kedarnath tour package includes a medical check-up in the morning. It’s done to check your fitness level for the Kedarnath trek that starts from Sonprayag and takes you at 3,583 m above sea level. Pilgrims are requested to carry personal medicines, heavy woolen, toiletries, and clothes as they will stay at Kedarnath, and the night will be chilly.

Start your trek from Sonprayag to Kedarnath by pony or Doli. On arrival, check in at the pre-booked guest house. Thereafter, go for Kedarnath Darshan, one of India’s 12 Jyotirlingas. Attend the evening Aarti accompanied by holy chants at the Kedarnath temple.

The Kedarnath shrine is one of the most famous pilgrimage sites and among the four dhams in India situated against the scenic backdrop of the Kedarnath range. According to the Hindu belief, Lord Shiva, the God of protection and destruction, is worshiped as Kedarnath. There are many myths regarding how the holy shrine evolved. It is told that Pandavas who wanted to clean their sin after the Kurukshetra war reached Kedarnath for a glimpse of Lord Shiva. Lord Shiva was living in the form of a bull, and as he dived into the ground to elude the Pandavas, his hump was left there. The remaining parts fall at four different places, namely Tungnath(arms), Rudranath(face), Madhmaheshwar(belly), and Kalpeshwar(head), evolving into five sacred shrines collectively known as Panch Kedar.

After the aarti completes, come back to the guest house. Stay overnight at Kedarnath.

Wake up before dawn and reach the Kedarnath temple to attend the “Abhishek” ceremony at 4.45 am. Then, all the devotees can enter the Garbha Griha and seek blessings by touching the idol. After that, start a downward trek to Sonprayag and drive to Guptkashi. On arrival, check-in at the hotel.

Stay overnight at the hotel.

In the morning after breakfast, drive to Badrinath via Joshimath. On arrival at the sacred Dham of Lord Vishnu, check in at the hotel and take a rest. Thereafter visit the holy places in Badrinath such as Tapt Kund, Narad Kund, Brahma Kapal, Sheshnetra, Charan Paduka, Mata Murti Temple, Mana Village, Vyas Gufa, and Vasundhara. In the evening, go for Badrinath darshan and attend the evening Aarti.

Badrinath is one of the 'Four Dhams' and the most famous pilgrimage site in India. The holy Dham is situated at an elevation of 3,133 meters and is surrounded by the two mountain ranges Nar & Narayan with Neelkanth Peak in the backdrop. The place is also known as "Badri van", meaning "forest of berries" as wild berries once covered it.

Rise before dawn and take a bath in the warm water of the Tapt Kund, a natural thermal spring and attend the “Abhishek” ceremony of Badrivishal. After that, start your return journey from Badrinath Kedarnath Dham Yatra. Drive to Rudraprayag/Kirtinagar and en route, visit Joshimath.

Joshimath is the winter home of Badrinath. The sacred place is situated on the slopes above the confluence of Alaknanda and Dhauliganga. Here you can visit one of the four 'Math' founded by Adi Shankaracharya. The idol of Badrinath is installed in the temple and worshiped for six months of the winter. You can also visit the temple of Narasimha, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. On arrival at Rudraprayag, check in at the hotel.

On the last day of your Badrinath Kedarnath tour, start your journey to Rishikesh early in the morning. Known as the 'place of sages', Rishikesh is a spiritual town located on the banks of Ganga. It is surrounded by the Shivalik range of the Himalayas on three sides. You can visit the famous attractions in Rishikesh, such as Laxman Jhulla, Ram Jhulla, Triveni Ghat, Bharat Mandir, and Sivananda Ashram.

Later, get transferred to Haridwar Railway Station/Dehradun Airport, where the sacred journey will end.

Day 1: Arrival at Delhi

Day 2: Haridwar-Guptkashi

Day 4: Kedarnath-  Sonprayag- Guptkashi

Wake up before dawn and begin your day by taking a bath in the hot water at the hotel and bound your energy with prayers and mantras and devote your spirit to Lord Shiva. Refresh your body with the hot cup of tea/coffee and reach Sonprayag. Take your ride back to the Guptkashi. Have food at the hotel and stay overnight.

Day 5: Drive to Joshimath

Have early morning breakfast at the hotel and leave for Joshimath. On arrival check-in to the hotel and get refreshed. Go out and visit the city. Enjoy the dinner at the hotel and call it a day.

Day 6: Arrival at Badrinath

Drive to Badrinath and have a dip in Tapt Kund, and start your journey to the Temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Check-in the hotel. Day 8: Rudraprayag to Haridwar

Get ready and have the morning breakfast at the hotel. Driver back to Haridwar via Rishikesh and explore the places you come across during driving. Reach Haridwar and visit for the Ganga Arti in the evening. Go to the hotel and take a break from the journey.

Day 9: Departure Day
