SM Entertainment Reports Strong Growth Amid HYBE Controversy
NCTzens will be able to purchase tickets for all seven dates starting this Friday (March 10) at 4 p.m. local time via either Ticketmaster or AXS.
Trending on Billboard
In December, the NCT subgroup released their holiday single “ Candy ,” updating H.O.T.’s classic 1996 K- pop track for the 21st century. (The ’90s act is largely credited with establishing the boy-band blueprint as South Korea’s first “idol” group.)
Along with the single, NCT Dream dropped their special winter album of the same name featuring tracks like “Graduation,” “Tangerine Love (Favorite)” and “Take My Breath.” The release served as the septet’s follow-up to their 2022 album Glitch Mode , which was repackaged and reissued last May as Beatbox .

Vodka Museum Tour with transport (excursion only)
Lena, our guide in Moscow was excellent. She was very knowledgable and could answer any question we had for her. We liked that she could pick up on our interests and take us places we might not have thought of to go. When we realized that one of the places we had chosen to see would probably not be that interesting to us, she was able to arrange entry to the Diamond Fund and the Armoury for us. Riding the Metro with Lena was a real adventure and a lot of fun. In Saint Petersburg we found Anna well versed in the history of the Tsars and in the Hermitage collection. Arkady in Veliky Novgorod was a very good guide and answered all of our questions with ease. Novgorod was perhaps a long way to go for a day trip, but we did enjoy it. Vasily was a great driver to have and kept us safe with good humour and skill. We enjoyed ourselves so much, my daughter says she is already planning to return. We would both have no hesistation to recommend ExpresstoRussia to anyone we know.
Just wanted to let you know that My grandson Bruno and I couldn´t have been more pleased with our week in Moscow (6/15 - 6/21). We were absolutely enchanted with the whole experience, including getting lost a couple of times in the Metro during our free time. Although both our guides (both Eleanas) were excellent, I would particularly commend the first one (she took us to the Tatiakov, the KGB tour, and to that beautiful cemetery where so many great Russian artists, authors, composers, musicians, militarists, and politicians are buried). Her knowledge is encyclopedic; and her understanding of today´s Russia as a product of its past was, for us, truly enlightening. I will be taking another tour in Russia, with my wife, within the next two or three years. I will be in touch with you when the time comes. Meanwhile, I will refer you to other potential visitors to Russia as I meet them.

Moscow, a City Like No Other
Moscow is Russia’s largest city with a population of between 12 and 13 million. It is also Europe’s largest city and when you visit Moscow, you can feel it. The layout and architecture of the city is eclectic, ranging from crooked, ancient streets and alleyways to wide, bustling boulevards, from medieval churches to Stalin skyscrapers and to modern, glass buildings towering over everything and of course in the center of it all is the Kremlin and the magnificent Red Square. Moscow is also home to a fantastic, efficient and very beautiful metro system – each station having its own special design. In fact, Express to Russia’s Moscow metro tours and excursions are some of our most popular attractions that we offer. On our Moscow tours, you will see this and more.
Moscow Tours centering on Russian History
Moscow has a long and interesting history and has been the capital of Russia in many of its different iterations – capital of the Grand Duchy of Moscow , the Russian Empire and of course the Soviet Union (who could ever forget the Soviet Union?). Moscow, was founded in the 12th century by Prince Yuri Dolgaruki (Yuri of the long arms – he really did have long arms!). From that time on, it was home to the Russian Tsars until Peter the Great moved the capital to St. Petersburg in 1703. The city has survived invasions and sieges from the Mongols, the Tartars, the Poles, Lithuanians and Napoleon but has always persevered. Our Moscow tours will enlighten you on this great history and give you insights into Muscovites and their unique culture. Our Moscow tours show you what the city is like today but also brings to life the past. Moscow never seems to sleep and is bursting with energy. A Moscow tour with Express to Russia is truly the best way of getting to know Russia’s largest and most vibrant city.
Frequently Asked Questions From Our Travelers
What is the best time to visit moscow.
Any time of year is fine depending on what you plan to do. Summertime is pleasantly warm, ideal for exploring the city and its vibrant atmosphere, but Moscow will be much busier and accommodation is more expensive. Winter can be quite cold but beautiful nonetheless, and this is unproblematic if you intend to spend most of your trip in museums and galleries. There are also various festivals and events organised throughout the year. For more information about the best time to visit, read our guide
How many days are enough in Moscow?
If you plan your itinerary strategically and aren’t averse to a packed schedule, you can cover Moscow’s main sights over a long weekend. Most popular attractions are in the city centre, and the Moscow Metro allows you to cover much ground in a small amount of time. Ensure that your accommodation is fairly central and book tickets in advance, so that you can make the most of your days. For an informative and well-organised day out, check out our Moscow day tours with options to suit all interests.
Do they speak English in Moscow?
As Russia’s capital city, tourists are well accommodated in Moscow. There should be English-speaking staff in restaurants, bars, hotels, shops and attractions in tourist hotspots, and there are also English-speaking tourist police. Transport services have English translations on their maps and English announcements via intercom; alternatively, order taxis from the Yandex Taxi app (Russian Uber), though it’s unlikely that your taxi driver will speak English. If you get stuck and cannot communicate, it’s fine to use Google Translate.
Is it safe to travel to Moscow?
It is no less safe to travel to Moscow than to any European city if you exercise common sense and look after your belongings. As with every city some regions can be more unsavoury than others, but no tourist attractions are located there. The traffic in Moscow is notorious, so exercise caution when crossing roads. Do not take unlicensed taxis; book in advance or take public transport, which is widespread and perfectly safe. If you encounter any problems, look for the special tourist police who can help you. For more information, read our guide about staying safe in Russia .

For 2024, the PGT Championship features a $1,000,000 prize pool with a $500,000 first-place prize. The PGT puts up the prize pool to create a total freeroll for the players. Entry is open to the top 40 eligible players, ranked by the PGT leaderboard at the end of the season, and ten (10) Dream Seat™ winners. Eligibility requirements for the Top 40 are three (3) cashes in PGT events during the current season.
How to Win a Dream Seat™
There will be three ways to win a Dream Seat into the 2024 PGT Championship, and they are outlined below:
- PGT Last Chance - The final series in the 2024 PGT season will see the return of PGT Last Chance. The top three highest-ranked players on the PGT Last Chance leaderboard who do not qualify in the Top 40 on the PGT leaderboard will earn the final three Dream Seats into the 2024 PGT Championship and begin the tournament with 125 big blinds. New for 2024 will see a select number of Dream Passes available for a select number of players who fall short of the final three Dream Seats. In 2023, Samuel Laskowitz earned the two Dream Seats on offer at PGT Last Chance, with Laskowitz finishing in seventh place and DeStefano finishing in 41st place. Once ARIA Resort & Casino approves the tournament series, more information will be posted .
- RunGood Poker Series Dream Seat Invitational - Ring winners from the 2024 RunGood Poker Series (RGPS) season are invited to compete in the first-ever RunGood PokerSeries Dream Seat Invitational that will be held in late 2024. Main event winners from RunGood Poker Series events earn an automatic $300 entry into the RGPS Dream Seat Invitational. Ring winners from non-main event tournaments can buy in for $300. The PGT is adding a Dream Seat to the prize pool, which will be awarded to the RGPS Dream Seat Invitational winner, who will begin the PGT Championship with 100 big blinds. For more information, visit rungood.com .
- PGT Championship Dream Seat Invitational - Held on the eve of the PGT Championship, players will compete for six (6) Dream Seats into the 2024 PGT Championship, where they will start with 100 big blinds. To earn entry into the PGT Championship Dream Seat Invitational, you must hold a Dream Pass . There are multiple pathways to win, earn, and receive a Dream Pass, outlined below.

What is the PGT Championship?
The PGT Championship is the season-ending poker tournament for the PGT. Players must qualify by being ranked in the top 40 of the PGT leaderboard at the end of the season or by winning a Dream Seat.
Unique to the PGT Championship, starting stacks in the event are based on PGT leaderboard points earned throughout the season. All players, including Dream Seat winners, will start with at least 100 big blinds. Exact PGT points to starting stack conversion will be announced later in the season.
The 2022 PGT season saw Jason Koon defeat Sean Winter to be crowned the PGT Championship winner and recipient of the $500,000 first-place prize. Stephen Chidwick topped the 2022 PGT leaderboard and was crowned the 2022 PGT Player of the Year. The 2023 PGT season saw Daniel Smiljkovic defeat Arden Cho to be crowned the PGT Championship winner and recipient of the $500,000 first-place prize. Isaac Haxton topped the 2023 PGT leaderboard and was crowned the 2023 PGT Player of the Year.

Guide To The EPT (European Poker Tour)
Explore all that the PokerStars EPT has to offer, from games to locations and prizes .
From relatively humble beginnings, the PokerStars European Poker Tour (EPT) has become one of the most popular poker tours in the world. Each stop on the tour features numerous events, thousands of entrants from over 100 different countries, and combined prize pools reaching tens of millions of Euros . It’s a far cry from the first ever European Poker Tour event in Barcelona, where 229 players each ponied up €1,000 to play in the Main Event. Today, the buy-in is usually around five times that amount, not to mention the High Roller tournaments which can reach buy-ins of up to €100,000 .
Along the way the tour has given us some of the most exciting moments of TV poker ever ; it’s thrown up its share of heroes and villains and clowns; made countless millionaires and, of course, taken in some of Europe’s most luxurious destinations. Let’s explore what makes the EPT poker tour so special, starting at the very beginning.
History Of The European Poker Tour
Back in 2004 the poker boom was in full swing. The previous year , Chris Moneymaker had won the WSOP Main Event , after qualifying through PokerStars for a buy-in of $39 (check your WSOP history !). As an American everyman he caught the public’s imagination and crucially was the first World Series winner to qualify through a satellite, making us all believe that we could do it too. That would be the blueprint for the EPT – a high buy-in tour that could be fed through PokerStars online satellites, giving amateurs the chance the to compete with the best players in the world, throwing up a mix of unlikely champions as well as seasoned, recognizable winners.
It was the brainchild of Englishman John Duthie , a television director who had won the first ever Poker Million tournament on the Isle of Man in 2000. The WPT had recently been launched in the United States and Duthie was impressed and wanted to create a European equivalent .
“I established the EPT, designed the logo, went around to the casinos getting their agreement, broadcasting agreements, etc. I got [PokerStars] sponsorship money, and basically just spent seven months setting up the company,” says Duthie. “[the first tournament] wasn’t huge, but it was a beginning. And what was important was that the players were really embracing it.”
Duthie was able to unite his contacts in the TV and poker worlds which meant that the fledgling tour was televised that year: “I realized we had to televise it to make it a big commercial success,” he says, “and also for the players to be interested to play in it in order to get the exposure.”
The structure was always popular with the players too: a deep stack gave the players lots of play and rewarded skill. The list of winners for the first season reflected that, with the cream rising to the top: Alexander Stevic, John Shipley, Ram Vaswani, Noah Boeken, Brandon Schaefer, Pascal Perault and Rob Hollink were no ‘flash in the pan’ players riding their luck, but seasoned pros at the highest level of poker . The structures at the EPT have always allowed quality to shine through.
Since the first season the tour has grown and grown . Buy-ins, prize pools and fields got bigger while the number of stops also rose, to a peak of 13 different cities each year from seasons 6 to 8. Season 4 also saw the first visit to Paradise Island in the Bahamas, for the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA), officially an EPT poker tour event despite the geographical non-sequitur.
Many different locations have hosted European Poker Tour festivals over the years, from Monte Carlo to Warsaw ; Loutraki to Kiev . Only Barcelona , however, has featured in the tour every single year since its inception. The Caribbean island nation of The Bahamas hosted the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA), a part of the EPT, from 2008, while each season’s showpiece tour stop (known as the Grand Final) takes place each summer in Monte Carlo.
It’s had its fair share of high drama, too – and not just at the tables. In 2010 at EPT Berlin, the tournament was robbed by masked men brandishing knives who got away with €242,000. No one was seriously injured but the incident caused mass panic in the crowd. The robbers were captured three days later and sentenced to three years in prison.
The advent of High-Roller, and Super High-Roller, tournaments in recent years has changed the dynamic of the festival a little. These huge buy-in events have smaller fields and massive prize pools and feature some of the most successful tournament professionals in the world . High Rollers and Super-High Rollers have been dominated largely by a group of German pros – players such as Tobias Reinkemeier, Ole Schemion, Philipp Gruissem, Igor Kurganov and Fabian Quoss.
The main events themselves, however, remain as popular and as lucrative as ever, with winners from across the globe. Players from Britain, the USA and Germany lead the way in terms of most wins by country.
“I knew it could be a success,” says John Duthie, reflecting on how far the tour has come, “but I never really thought that it could have been as big a success as it has been, because it very much requires the complete support of the players. But PokerStars were crucial because they were constantly feeding in the critical mass of players to every single event by running satellites . They were constantly giving me support on the ground, and advising me on press and marketing, so they were very important. Ultimately the European Poker Tour grew so big because it was something the market needed at the time. The European market still needs the EPT, and although other copycats have tried to follow it, it will never be eclipsed by anybody else.”
In 2011 Duthie left the European Poker Tour to pursue other projects. The poker world owes him a tremendous debt.
Notable EPT Winners
Over the years the European Poker Tour winners list has grown to include some of the very best players in the world . Even leaving aside the many winners crowned in High Rollers and other side events, the Main Event has been won by some notable names.
Patrik Antonius
Back in 2005, a month after making the final table of EPT Barcelona, the famous Finn took down the EPT Main Event at Baden in Austria. Winning over €288k for the victory – one of his first in poker – Antonius went on to have a glittering high stakes poker career.
Victoria Coren
Now known as Victoria Coren Mitchell, the part-time British poker pro also has a successful writing and presenting career in the UK. Her victory at EPT London in 2006 (worth £500k) was the first for a female player on the tour, but it wasn’t the only time she claimed a famous first: in winning EPT Sanremo in 2014, along with €476k, she became the first player ever to win two EPT Main Events.
Bertrand ‘ElkY’ Grospellier
The French former esports star had already made two EPT final tables by the time he won $2m for first place at the 2008 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure. He has since added WSOP and WPT titles to his collection, but has arguably had the most success on the EPT. Wins in EPT High Roller tournaments in 2009, 2011 (x2) and 2012 have helped take him to the top as France’s leading tourney money winner.
Mike McDonald
Canadian pro McDonald become the youngest EPT Main Event winner ever back in 2008, when he won over a million dollars for his victory at EPT Dortmund aged just 18. He has since won several EPT side events, including a High Roller event at EPT Malta in 2015, and has finished runner-up in EPT events in Prague, Monte Carlo, Dublin and the PCA.
Jason Mercier
Holder of the record for the most weeks spent at the top of the Global Poker Index (84), Mercier was just 21 when a famous hero call sent him on his way to victory at EPT Sanremo, a payday of €869k and a career as an elite poker professional. He has since won numerous WSOP bracelets and over $20m in tournament winnings.
Steve O’Dwyer
Irish-American O’Dwyer spent four years as a poker pro before winning his first major tournament, but has since proved to be one of the most formidable high stakes tourney players in the world. In 2013 he took home over €1.2m for first place at EPT Monte Carlo, with further High Roller wins coming at the PCA (2015, 2016, 2018), EPT Malta, EPT Prague (both 2015), EPT Monte Carlo (2018) and EPT Barcelona (2022).
Fancy playing the EPT?
If the €5,000+ buy-in is too rich for your blood, don’t worry – you can still fulfill your dream of playing EPT poker. In fact, it’s possible to make EPT poker a reality for just a few dollars. Since it’s a PokerStars tour event, qualification is exclusive to the PokerStars site , but they offer satellites to suit every pocket.
EPT satellites run every day of the week in the run-up to a tour stop. Satellite feeders allow players to qualify through various steps, often starting at just a few cents, and you can find these tournaments in the PokerStars lobby in the months prior to EPT events. Meanwhile, live satellites are available at the venue in the days preceding the main events. So what are you waiting for? Play a bit of online poker, EPT could be your next stop, and then maybe, just maybe, stardom might be just around the corner.
If you want to qualify for the EPT, you’ll need to do so via PokerStars.

The sprawling, mind-boggling metropolis of Russian Moscow has long been one of the theatrical stages on which the great dramas of Europe and Asia have been played out in grand style. Burned by Napoleon in 1812, immortalised by Tolstoy, utilised by the Bolsheviks and championed as a bastion of heroic defiance by the post-war communists, it’s almost hard to believe just how defining the historical events that found their home on Moscow’s streets have been. Moscow tour guides will easily be able to mark the major must-see landmarks on the map, from the onion-domed orthodox Saint Basil's Cathedral, to the political powerhouse of Red Square just next door, while others will be quick to recommend a ride on Moscow’s famous subterranean metro system, or a visit to the UNESCO-attested Novodevichy Convent on the city’s southern side. But Moscow is a city also in the throes of a cultural wrangling between the old and the new. Creative energies abound here: Boho bars and pumping super clubs now occupy the iconic mega structures of the old USSR; high-fashion outlets, trendy shopping malls and luxurious residential districts stand as testimony to a city that’s now the undisputed playground of the world’s super-rich, while sprawling modern art museums dominate the cultural offering of the downtown districts north of the Moskva River.

LIV Adelaide result boosts idea of backing team over individual tour
I t was Australian glory Down Under in Adelaide when home heroes Ripper GC held their nerve against an all-South African Stinger GC in the first ever LIV Golf team playoff to take home a tidy bonus.
Ripper GC – made up of Australians Cameron Smith, Marc Leishman, Matt Jones and Lucas Herbert – and Stinger GC – formed of South Africans Louis Oosthuizen, Branden Grace, Charl Schwartzel and Dean Burmester – achieved record team scores of 53-under par at The Grange in South Australia to take LIV Golf into its first ever playoff since its inception in 2022.
The win on home soil bagged the team £3m between them.
“This is unreal,” said Smith. “It’s a dream come true for us.
“This week has far exceeded my vision for what was ahead.
“I think I always knew internally that Australia would really embrace LIV with the culture, with the music, with the entertainment, everything that goes on around it.
“I always felt like this was the place where it was going to make it big, and how it’s been the last couple of years has been just insane.”
But it does make you wonder whether a reconfiguration to the LIV Golf League could create moments like we saw at the weekend, when thousands followed Smith up the 18th for the playoff, jeering and cheering as putts were so closely missed.
In the 4Aces GC – Dustin Johnson, Patrick Reed, Harold Varner III and Pat Perez – you have an entirely American team. The same goes for HyFlyers GC – Phil Mickelson, Cameron Tringale, Brendan Steele and Andy Ogletree.
Torque GC – made up of Joaquin Niemann, Mito Pereira, Sebastian Munoz and Carlos Ortiz – is entirely South American while Smith’s Ripper and Oosthuizen’s Stinger are each made up of competitors from the same country.
One wonders…
One wonders, therefore, whether LIV Golf should look beyond the individual title and instead focus on the team title with a calendar to match.
Each team could be seen to have what is described as a home weekend where the circuit is able to promote them accordingly.
It would be good for LIV Golf and a point of difference from rival tours such as the PGA and DP, even more so if the sport’s merger goes ahead.
We’ve already seen Jon Rahm’s Legion XIII, Smith’s Ripper, Bryson DeChambeau’s Crushers and Brooks Koepka’s Smash win on the tour this year.
It doesn’t mean the tour can only go to nations whose players are represented, but it means the league can establish a foundation venue for each team intersected with the likes of Las Vegas, Hong Kong and Saudi Arabia.
It was American Steele who picked up the individual win and $4m in Adelaide, however, with the 41-year-old finishing on 18-under par, a shot ahead of Oosthuizen in second and two clear of Schwartzel in third.
Rahm was tied with Schwartzel in third while series leader Niemann was also in a podium share.
“I’m pretty overwhelmed,” Steele said. “But to win this event is really special. I can’t say enough good things about the fans and the golf course and the whole experience this week.”
The Crushers lead the overall team standings this season ahead of Legion XIII and Torque GC.
Torque’s Niemann is top of the individual standings ahead of Legion XIII’s Rahm and Stinger’s Burmester.
