Inside Post Malone's Luxury Utah Home

Ever since the release of "White Iverson ” in 2015, Post Malone (born Austin Richard Post) has been turning heads with his exclusive sound and his eclectic genre of music. His blended genre has been a topic of contention and is one which can loosely be described as Hip Hop meets Country music. In a way, the crossover can be linked directly to how he identifies himself; Post was born in Syracuse, New York and then moved to Dallas, Texas when his dad was made a top management official for the Dallas Cowboys football team, according to  Syracuse .

As a young adult, he moved to LA where he was discovered and garnered a record deal, and this was his home until a video which went viral on TikTok , in which Post explained his doomsday theory and the importance of moving to the mountains. He not only advised people to build a tower which they could make into a haven until the end times, but he's also followed his own advice and built one for himself and his family. He opted for a luxury property in Utah, with all the makings of a post-apocalyptic paradise. From the home tour video on Instagram , we are able to get a clearer view of the home and it is epic!

A nature filled oasis

TMZ maintains that the exact coordinates and address for Post Malone's mansion are items of secrecy but it can be confirmed that the $3 million luxury home, coming in at 12,702 square feet, is located within the Salt Lake City environs. Salt Lake City itself is a trendy locale with picturesque sunsets, valleys, and mountains. The community is very family-oriented, there are great schools for children and amazing economic value for business. In addition to this, there are a large number of parks and outdoor recreational attractions (per Visit Salt Lake City ).

The environment in the community of snow capped mountains is generally safe and serene — such that someone like Post Malone, who loves his space, can revel in his surroundings in a bid to enjoy nature and feel at peace. Post is not afraid to express his love for the solitude which Utah offers. On a Zane Lowe podcast he said, "I kind of just wanted to get away to where I can have my own oasis" (via  YouTube ).

There is a lot of indoor greenery

Within the rooms and the interiors, standing plants add a pop of color to a neutral palette and scientifically, these plants offer so much more. According to Web MD , decorating your home with plants in different areas can offer a lot of psychological benefits to the owner. Certain plants and flowers in bloom can liven up your mood with their bold colors. Shrubs like spider plant, keep air in the room filled consistently with moisture, and other plants can soak up impurities in the air. Some could even assist in alleviating allergies.

Should you wish to scatter plants throughout your home, consider the spaces you wish to fill; if you have a tabletop upon which you wish to place some greenery, then the plants you choose need to be at a height that does not cause obstruction when people are using the table. You could opt for a circular centerpiece or a long and low floral arrangement (via B Floral ). If you have little to no surface space to place your plants, but you still wish to insert functional greenery into your abode, opt for a hanging macramé planter (via Main Macramé Designs ).

A charming fire pit can be found outside

Climate Data reports that Cottonwood Heights is situated in the northern hemisphere of the globe and this just means that its climate is relatively cold with its winter months seeing a temperature of 20 degrees Fahrenheit.  When your environment gets this cold, a warm and toasty fire feature can uplift the mood immensely. This takes us to the outdoor fire feature in Post Malone's abode; a state of the art fire pit with surrounding seats for friends and family to stay cozy when outdoors.  Fire Side Hearth  states that whether this feature is lit or even if the fire pit remains off due to Utah rainfall (which pours a lot), this feature undoubtedly adds quality and ambience to Post Malone's home.

Should you wish to implement this feature, keep in mind that fire pits do not have to be the traditional style. They could also be a work of art. Consider one like this Autumn Sunset – Leaf Fire Pit Sphere from The Fire Pit Gallery , which will no doubt be an attractive focal point in your garden .

His den may also be a professional gaming room

According to Paradise Developments there is no set definition or functions for a den room — a homeowner can use their den for whatever activity suits them. It is so versatile that in your abode, it could be decorated as a game room, it could be turned into a studio, or it could be made into a home office, a study, or a library.

Within the home tour video  we can see that Post Malone's house comes with a den room that boasts royal red furniture and wall-to-wall carpeting. It is up to us to speculate what Post Malone may use this room for, but we have our money on him turning it into a well-equipped game room. We say this because of that interview with Variety , in which he said, "Being in Utah and being away from the grind and from everybody else and it's just me with my video games and a cold one—that feels good to me."

There is an intense amount of lighting in every room

According to Rolling Stone , one of Post Malone's prized possessions is his white Rolls Royce Wraith. In a 2017 interview with the periodical's team, Post Malone gleefully chose to show off his toy and all the features which the luxury car boasts; particularly the ability for the ceiling of the car to light up courtesy of the myriads of orbs fitted into it.

This intense adoration for lighting has also been reflected in Post's Utah home. In the  home tour video , we see that in all 5 bedrooms and almost every other area of the abode, there are myriads of lights and fixtures.  Some were made using tiny orbs similar to the lit-up rooftop of his Rolls Royce, while others hang as dome lamps such as the hanging bathroom light fixtures and the different pendant lamps hung on the exterior of the home.

Each room has matching wall art

From the video of Post Malone's home , we can witness the animal wall paintings which must have been hung up to match the jungle-themed living room. There is also a monochromatic painting in the master bedroom which un-coincidentally boasts a monochromatic neutral aesthetic. Inside the gym, classic art in various frames have been added to the decor. This all boils down to the fact that there is a pattern of having different art aesthetics for each of the rooms in the mountain house.

According to Style By Emily Henderson , how you arrange your wall art needs to be done with a little finesse. A few common styles include the triptych wall art style like Posty's living room (where three artworks of the same or similar version are equally spaced out and placed in a line next to each other on the wall). If the wall is not too large, opt for a diptych technique which works by placing two similar-sized pieces next to each other to express some level of symmetry and cohesion instead of the triptych version.

Floor to ceiling windows showcase mountain views

According to Aluminium Trade Supply , you simply cannot go wrong with floor-to-ceiling windows because they enable natural light to filter into your abode at the highest level possible. Granted, this may also mean that you may have to endure a lack of privacy thanks to the expanse of the glass and how much of a view people could have of your home. Another downside could be the cost of executing this window style — it may be more expensive to install floor-to-ceiling glass than the glass for normal windows due to the extra care you need to consider when handling it. Lastly, there's more surface area to make gleam when cleaning windows of this size.

But Post Malone lives on an oasis, so he has zero contact with neighbors. Therefore, the fear of reduced privacy should not even be a topic to consider. In addition to this, at a net worth of $45 million, chances are the high that the expenses of utilizing this window style may not be too detrimental for his bank account (per Celebrity Net Worth ).

His and Hers sinks were implemented

According to  The Wall Street Journal , there are some couples who live together as a unit yet believe in having certain things which they do not share as a unit, such as his and hers bathrooms, or his and hers living rooms. Post Malone also has a fiancée and longtime companion. The pair have been in the news recently because they just welcomed a baby girl (via E Online ). As new parents and soon to be a wedded couple, they may sometimes need their personal time and personal retreats, hence this could be the reason behind their "his and hers" sinks. The separate sinks are part of the bathroom, which boasts a gorgeously-designed marble shower and a marble bath.

However, we are not aware if Post will be integrating his and hers toilets into their home. When speaking with Howard Stern about his process of writing music, Post said,  "I write all my songs on the can...I'd say about 30 percent of all my albums have been written on the sh***er..." (via Youtube ). Judging by this confession, it is clear that his and hers toilets could be a requirement in the luxury home, and his fiancée may be the one who champions this addition.

There's a gourmet chef's kitchen

According to K!TCHN by Grundig , there are so many different types of kitchens and kitchen layouts. Popular kitchen types include the one-wall kitchen, which, as the name implies, means that all your kitchen features and appliances are arranged against one wall (a space saver indeed). There is also the U-shaped kitchen, the L-shaped kitchen, and as is the case with Mr. Malone's kitchen, there is the island kitchen.

The island kitchen layout was a great choice for this spacious home because islands offer so much to the abode. The chef has extra space to cook and prep meals, it could also work as a makeshift dining table for informal dining, or, when Post starts working on homework with his little one, this could be the best area for the family to hunker down and get to solving 1+1 (per Singer Kitchens ).

It is important to note that adding islands to a kitchen should be considered carefully, because not all kitchens have the space to take this feature. Before you embark on a project as such, map out the area in which you wish to implement the island and imagine how movement will flow when you finally insert the feature (per Jewett Farms ).

He has a number of fitness amenities

The Verge reported that Post Malone joined the world of E-sports as the co-owner of Dallas team "Envy." Post confirmed this, saying, "I have always wanted to be a part of bringing gaming into the professional sports world so to be involved with what 'Envy' is doing in my hometown feels like such a perfect fit." Another member of Post Malone's family who is highly affiliated in the world of sports is his father. Mr. Rich Post was hired in 2009 as the Assistant Director for Food and Beverage for the Dallas Cowboys, and he has held that role for thirteen years and counting (via Linkedin ).

Life Persona  reports that this could have added to Post Malone's fondness for sports. As a child, the "Rockstar" singer enjoyed playing basketball and watching sports on TV. In addition, the lucky lad enjoyed perks of free food and free tickets to physically watch the Cowboys play their opponents. Lucky, lucky indeed!

As a successful musician, Post surely gets super busy with work and touring, to the point that he may or may not have time to work out as much as he'd like. But since the arrival of his baby girl, he vowed that he will start taking better care of his body and health (per E Online ). Should he get the chance to squeeze in some moments for fitness, his well-equipped gym will come in handy as the perfect workout spot.

Stones and rocks were used for art and decor

In keeping with the outdoor nature vibe and the greenery which the luxury home's interiors boast, real rocks were implemented into the foyer and the living room to serve both a functional and decorative role in Post Malone's house. The cluster of rocks is a focal point which inserts a gorgeous rustic aesthetic in the interior of the home. There are customized rock walls that add charm to the family living room area as well. If you have a large awkward space in your home, such as underneath the staircase or a gap between two rooms, you can take a leaf out of Post Malone's book and create a mosaic wall made out of stones and rocks of your choice. With various options of brick and stone tiles, ensure you do not get lost in the variety (via Orient Bell ).

If you do not have the space to load boulders of rocks into your living room or your foyer, opt for subtle additions. You can start small by utilizing pebble backsplash tiles in your bathroom. This version from Amazon could bring the rainforest vibe indoors while keeping the wall protected from stains, skids, and soap suds, because tiles which come with a glazed finish are quite durable and can be cleaned easily.

There is a ten seater formal dining room

According to GQ , Post Malone's father has been over to Post's house in Utah and was present during an interview that Malone had with the magazine. Now that the baby is here, we can imagine all the grandparents wanting to come around (especially during the holidays) to visit their children in Utah and possibly help in watching over their beloved grandchild. With more family members around, this means that Post Malone's dining room, which has a dining table and sits ten people comfortably, will work seamlessly as a fixture to help foster further family bonding, allowing the blended family to commune over meals. The dining room sits at a strategic part of the home which boasts floor-to-ceiling windows exposing the diners to the beauty of the mountainside and the great outdoors.

The Washington Post  maintains that the existence of a formal dining table is a valuable addition in every home whether you live alone or with a family. And in Post's case, teaching his daughter how to engage in a healthy and wholesome mealtime by eating at the dining table with him will help instill a strong sense of family within her.

A regal piano is the entryway focal point

According to Loud Wire , Post Malone is an amazing guitarist and before his blended hip hop meets country persona, Post Malone actually got his feet wet in the world of entertainment whilst playing for Ashley's Arrival (an unsigned band). If you do not believe this news, you will surely believe this video on YouTube  which showcases Post Malone playing the guitar, a skill which he clearly executes quite well. Therefore, as a skilled instrument player and lover of music, it comes as no surprise that instruments will be incorporated into his home decor.

He must own different forms of the guitar, from electric to purely acoustic guitar (via Youtube ). However, this is not the instrument he chose to decorate his house with. Instead, he opted for the black classic piano pictured above. If you have always desired to own a piano, there are various versions from classic to acoustic, which boast different price ranges. Some are sold in high-end stores and some can be found in a yard sale. Whichever type of piano you opt for, rest assured that when placed strategically in your home, it can offer a regal aesthetic and elevate the character of the space (per Piano Gallery ).

A rectangular outdoor pool with the jacuzzi

We have already confirmed how cold Utah gets, especially during the winter. Nevertheless, this has not stopped architects from factoring in swimming pools into the Utah home designs. According to Stevenson Brothers Waterfalls , swimming pools will always be a key feature in any home (no matter the climate), and they increase a home's value by ten percent. Although Post Malone chose to move to this canyon home to be one with nature and stay well prepared for Doomsday, the skeptic is ensuring that his time is well-spent and enjoyed to the fullest via premium amenities such as this state of the art pool (per TMZ ). It comes with a hot tub to make those chilly winter days feel warm, and it is strategically-placed in a zone which allows the swimmer to enjoy views of the mountain and watch the city skyline.

During the summer time, this place will be a hot spot! We can already imagine Post and his girlfriend soaking up the sun during the summer or Post and friends having a lowkey midsummer gathering whilst playing his music and enjoying his summer friendly rosé (per The Independent ).

SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — One of the biggest recording artists on Earth paid a special visit to the most-scientifically-studied paranormal hotspot on Earth Sunday. We're talking about Post Malone taking a special tour of Uintah County, Utah's infamous Skinwalker Ranch.

Post Malone, whose real name is Austin Richard Post, spent Sunday with ranch owner Brandon Fugal. Fugal is part of " The Secret of Skinwalker Ranch ," a hit series on HISTORY which investigates what it calls "one of the most infamous and secretive hotspots of paranormal and UFO-related activities on Earth."

The ranch is located near Ballard, Utah, just south of Highway 191.

Fugal, who is also the chairman and co-owner of Colliers International , told 2News:

Skinwalker Ranch is the most scientifically studied paranormal hotspot in the world, and was part of a Pentagon funded black budget program from 2008-2013, as reported in the New York Times and other media. "

Fugal says Post is a paranormal enthusiast who reached out to him about touring the ranch. It turns out the two had friends in common, and have since become friends. Fugal said:

Post Malone and I were introduced through mutual friends and business associates, and became friends as he is extremely interested in the paranormal with the dream to visit the ranch.”

Fugal tells 2News that Post was specifically interested in the scientific technology and equipment that scientists use at the ranch. Post also helped out with some investigations while he was at the ranch. Post is often spotted in Utah, as he has a home in the state. Further details regarding Post's visit to the ranch were not provided to media. You can see photos of Post's visit in our gallery above.

Fugal has owned the ranch for about five years, having bought it from billionaire UFO-enthusiast Robert Bigelow, who conducted his own, unpublished studies at the ranch. Fugal said:

I acquired the ranch from elusive aerospace billionaire Robert Bigelow out of Nevada nearly 5 years ago, and launched my own expanded investigation of the property and the claims of UFO activity, cattle mutilations, orbs and other high strangeness."

Fugal has since filmed two seasons of his show at the ranch, with the first season becoming a "worldwide phenomenon," Fugal says.

Last year in partnership with HISTORY Channel I launched an investigative series The Secret of Skinwalker Ranch , which was a new hit for the network. Season 2 is scheduled to launch the first week in May with 10 new episodes following my team and our scientific research."

Season two is set to begin airing its ten episodes on May 4. When asked if Post Malone will be on the show, Fugal said, "we'll see."

HISTORY's description of " The Secret of Skinwalker Ranch " reads:

For the first time ever, HISTORY is gaining full, unprecedented access to one of the most infamous and secretive hotspots of paranormal and UFO-related activities on earth, Skinwalker Ranch.
"Anchored by never-before-seen footage of the ranch and what it contains, the series will feature a team of scientists and experts who will conduct a daring and thorough search of this infamous 512-acre property located in Utah’s Uinta Basin in an attempt to find out the who?' 'what?' and 'why?' behind more than 200 years of UFO SIGHTINGS, bizarre animal mutilations and paranormal related mysteries. Utilizing the latest in cutting edge technology from lasers and ground-penetrating radar to drone thermography, and more, the team will apply hard science and make shocking discoveries while going further and risking more than anyone has done on the ranch before.
"Beginning in the 1950s, Skinwalker Ranch and the area around it has been referred to as 'UFO alley,' where numerous anomalous events and strange activity have received worldwide media attention. Since then, the area has been the site of decades of study, some clandestinely funded by the government. In 1996, the property was purchased by billionaire businessman and UFO enthusiast, Robert Bigelow, who used it to conduct his own experiments into the study of the ranch and its other-worldly connections. His findings were never shared with the public. Three years ago, the property was sold to a new owner who is now leading this team in a new investigation and, for the first time in history, allowing television cameras to document their shocking discoveries."

Check out the apocalypse-ready Utah mansion Post Malone bought after calling the United States government the "biggest lie in the world."

A 2018 resurfaced clip of Post Malone — in which he referenced the United States government as “the biggest lie in the world” and urged people to “move out to the country” — is making its way around TikTok.

In the clip, which has amassed over 2 million views, the “ Hollywood’s Bleeding ” artist discussed the need to escape from cities in order to protect oneself from the government.

Around that time, the now-26-year-old singer did just that — he purchased a five-bedroom, seven-bathroom Utah abode for $3,093,750 under the LLC “Wow Cool House,” property records show.

Located in Salt Lake City, the residence spans almost 13,000 square feet and is situated on nearly 7 acres of land.

“Move somewhere, because whenever martial law is declared … whenever your credit cards fail, whenever your banks fail … you have three days to get out of where you are because that’s when they’re coming for you,” said Malone, born Austin Post, in the February 2018 interview with Montreality . “That’s the big move. That’s checkmate right there. And they think they have you.”

He then encouraged people to make a move themselves and “get your scraps. Stand up for yourself. Build a tower. Build a long road where you can see them coming. Don’t give up, America.”

The property is made up of five bedrooms and seven bathrooms.

In a separate 2017 interview featured on the H3 Podcast — as Malone was in contract to buy the Utah residence — he revealed he would turn the home into an apocalypse-proof shelter and build underground quarters.

“I’m going to put in, like, 30 bunk beds,” said Malone. “It’s free country out there. Like, you can buy suppressors in Utah. You can do open-carry. Walk into the grocery store with a handgun on your hip. Cowboy s–t. I can’t wait.”

The entryway.

Initially built in 1986, Malone’s home boasts canyon, mountain and city views and is located at the mouth of Cottonwood Canyon.

Features include floor-to-ceiling windows, separate guest quarters and a private office, which backs into thousands of acres of conservation land, the previous listing notes.

The expansive living room features a bar, and the gourmet chef’s kitchen comes with state-of-the-art appliances leading to a family room with an informal dining area.

One of five bedrooms.

Amenities include a wine cellar, a fitness room, an outdoor fireplace, basketball court, a pool and a hot tub with an outdoor kitchen.

In the recently resurfaced 2018 interview, the rapper called out “the f–king US government” as the “biggest lie,” adding it is it “not what it used to be.”

“It used to be so sick, and about the people, and about freedom, and all that s–t,” he added. “But now it’s just bulls–t. Now it’s a f–king reality show.”

Malone also vaguely predicted that there would be a lot of “weird s–t that happens within our lifetime” on the podcast.

“It’s going to be fun until the world ends,” he continued. “But whenever the world ends, it’s going to be functional.”

Previously, the “Rockstar” rapper lived in a $26 million Beverly Hills rental.

Post Malone Is Done Compromising: The Superstar Gets Real at His Mountain Hideaway

It’s well past 2 p.m., and nothing seems to wake Post Malone . Not the sound of shovels cracking into his iced-over driveway. Not the stylist assembling racks of designer clothes or the camera flashes lighting up his entryway. Not even the smell of pounds of piping-hot Raising Cane’s chicken.

Post Malone

See latest videos, charts and news

For the 26-year-old superstar, who often stays up until 10 a.m. playing video games when he’s not on the road, this is normal. Three years ago, when Post moved from Los Angeles to his near-seven-acre mountainside sanctuary in Utah, his inner circle was hoping he would enjoy this kind of peace. His infectiously positive father, Rich Post, says the move “was a big sigh of relief for the parental figures,” while co-manager Dre London, an Olympic-level multitasker who has been with Post since day one, calls it “the best thing for him — he can have a life.”

Post Malone: Photos From the Billboard Cover Shoot

Yet Post — once he does, finally, groggily arise — admits that others in his orbit were less enthused. “People wanted me to stay in L.A. — that’s where the work gets done — but I was fed up,” he says, cradling a freshly poured beer. (Throughout our near-eight-hour hang, he’ll have at least half a dozen.) “There’s always something to do, and someone always wants something from ya — and I didn’t want to go crazy.”

Making big moves, then watching them pay off, is all part of the Posty plan. When he was 18 years old, right after dropping out of community college, he moved from Grapevine, Texas, to L.A. “You try to be as supportive as you can,” says Rich, “so I said, ‘That’s great, son. Whatever you want to do, just be the best at it.’ ” (He is now Post’s unofficial house manager and lives 15 minutes down the road with his wife and stepson.) By the time he turned 20, the artist born Austin Post had a breakout hit: “White Iverson,” a hazy, introspective tune he uploaded to SoundCloud in February 2015 that, within a month, had over 1 million streams on the platform. A few weeks after that, Post (then rocking sports jerseys, gold teeth and braids) played in front of a few thousand people at South by Southwest — and soon became a bona fide star.

He takes bold swings through genres, too, jumping from the spacey, melodic hip-hop of “Sunflower” (a Swae Lee team-up from Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse ) to the fuzzy alt-pop of “Circles” (from 2019’s Hollywood’s Bleeding , which boasted collaborations with Ozzy Osbourne and Father John Misty). He has collected two Billboard 200 No. 1 albums and four Hot 100 No. 1 hits, three of which placed on Billboard ’s Greatest of All Time Hot 100 Songs ranking: “Circles,” “Sunflower” and “Rockstar” (featuring 21 Savage). To date, his catalog has amassed 26.5 billion on-demand U.S. streams, according to MRC Data.

Along the way, he became an unlikely fashion star, trading his jerseys for Tom Ford suits and skirts while covering his face in an ever-growing collection of tattoos, including the words “Always Tired” just under his eyes. Hence the sleepy mountain sanctuary.

Tucked away at the end of a steep uphill drive, Post’s home offers stunning views of Salt Lake City’s mountainous skyline. Inside, it is a 26-year-old’s vision of what an alpine man cave should look like: dark decor, a giant taxidermic bear, antler light fixtures, countless pieces of Dallas Cowboys memorabilia and a bar with Bud Light — and only Bud Light — on tap. There are boxes of cards from the fantasy game Magic: The Gathering strewn on a desk, a pantry stocked with Costco-size boxes of snacks, a gingerbread house on the kitchen counter and a guest bathroom that’s running low on toilet paper.

Post once considered installing 30 bunk beds for the various family and team members who come and go, including his dad; his half-brother, Jordan, who makes a brief appearance during Billboard ’s visit to take Post’s German shepherd, Britt, out for a walk; his personal assistant, Ben Bell, who is also the brother of songwriter-producer Louis Bell, Post’s main collaborator; his personal photographer, Adam DeGross; two other members of his management team, Jay Santiago and Bobby Greenleaf, whom London calls his “eyes and ears”; and various security personnel, some of whom parade in with bags of Bed Bath & Beyond linens in anticipation of holiday guests.

When Post isn’t working, he’ll watch Ghost Adventures , Modern Family or Korean crime shows. (One of his all-time favorite movies is Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story . He was so taken with John C. Reilly’s suits in the film that he sought out its costume designer, Catherine Hahn, and hired her in 2018 as his stylist.) He’s hoping to set up a friend date with Paul McCartney soon — “Just to see, ‘What are you thinking about, dude? What are you up to?’ ” — but he mostly hangs with buddies from local gun shop Gallenson’s Guns and Ammo. “We go out and just run around in the open country and do cool s–t,” he says matter-of-factly as he warms up by his fireplace.

But over the past two years, there’s one thing Post Malone has hardly done: make music.

In theory, the peace and quiet of Utah was supposed to be good for his creativity. “Here,” he says of his abode, “there are very few distractions.” But his four-year sprint to the top of the charts, as well as the onset of the pandemic, left him on the brink of burnout and increasingly anxious. “You think about everything at the same time, and it’s f–king overload,” he says. “There’s a lot riding on the music. There’s a lot riding on just being able to keep making songs. And that’s hard to do because you’re like, ‘F–k — I already talked about everything.’ And you kind of run out of ideas, and that’s scary s–t.”

He worried the spark would never return. “I used to love playing the guitar — I hardly play the guitar anymore. I used to love making beats,” he says. It took a few low-key visits from Bell, during which they would mess around in his home studio, for him to find his way back. To make his imminent new album, twelve carat toothache , Post had to rediscover what made him want to do this in the first place. “There was a switch that flipped, and it felt like I was making Stoney ,” he says, referencing his 2016 debut album. “I lost that, and the hardest part is getting it back. It ebbs and flows. It’s figuring out: ‘Just because I’m not inspired to do it at the moment doesn’t mean I’m giving up.’ ”

Just a few steps from Post Malone’s main house is another building: his two-floor home studio. Downstairs, a lounge area is decorated with Louis Vuitton throw blankets and an acrylic foosball table; the second floor is the recording booth, with empty cups and various guitars. Etched into the wooden floor is the word “bulls–t,” which can be illuminated with a single switch, also labeled “bulls–t.” It helps take the pressure off: His job, Post sometimes reminds himself, is just “making s–tty music.”

It’s a drastic difference from eight years ago, when Post was one of many creatives sharing space and resources at a San Fernando, Calif., hub dubbed The White House. Technically, it was a mansion, but space was in short supply — Post slept in his closet to devote more of his room to recording equipment. It’s there that he crafted “White Iverson,” along with housemate/co-writer Rex Kudo and other collaborators. It’s also where London, who started managing artists in his native England before moving stateside, first met Post in 2014, just before the song’s release.

Early on, London thought about keeping the Post Malone operation trim to build Post as an independent act. “I looked at that Chance and Pat route heavy,” he says, referring to Chance the Rapper and his former manager, Pat Corcoran. “But Post said, ‘I want to be a millionaire.’ So when you hear that and you’re grinding — I’m looking ahead two, three years — we made a decision [to sign to a major]. A bidding war started, and it was kind of hard to ignore. He started hearing some numbers, and he was like, ‘Yeah, I like the sound of this.’ His exact words were ‘Daddy likey.’ ”

Post signed with Republic Records in 2015 after Tyler Arnold, now executive vp of A&R, discovered him online. “I reached out to Dre the day I heard ‘White Iverson,’ ” recalls Arnold, who was 22 at the time. “I remember Dre telling me in that first conversation how Post would be one of the biggest artists in the world.” Soon enough, Post and London were dining with Republic’s core team in Beverly Hills, Calif. “When Post ordered a bucket of Bud Light with dinner, I knew he was someone I was going to like,” says label co-founder/CEO Monte Lipman. Republic pitched itself as a support system for the vision already in place. “We kept reinforcing [that] Post and Dre rely on their instincts,” he adds. “We also crystallized our position that we’d remain incredibly patient and support Post’s creative endeavors.”

As Post worked on Stoney a whole creative community began coalescing around him. Austin Rosen, the founder of management company Electric Feel, known for its roster of hit songwriters and producers, met London just before “White Iverson” blew up; he heard about Post through Kudo, one of his producer clients. “Post was staying at his house, recording, and Rex called me up like, ‘You got to come immediately and meet this kid,’ ” recalls Rosen, standing in the expansive front yard of his Miami home, a few days after the Utah hang. “As soon as I came back out to L.A., I met him — and he was right. I was chasing [London] down because I was like, ‘I’ve got to find this guy and figure out how to get involved.’ ” (He wasn’t the only one interested in doing so: In 2015, it was reported that 300 Entertainment vp of A&R and research Az Cohen, who brought Post to 300 for a meeting that same year, was co-managing the artist, though no label or management deals materialized. Cohen and 300 did not comment.)

Around the same time Rosen entered the picture, London introduced another of Rosen’s clients to Post: Louis Bell. London had enlisted Bell to edit vocals for Post’s feature on a 50 Cent track in 2015, and once Post heard what Bell had done, he told London: “I want this guy to do my whole album.” They worked on Stoney at Electric Feel’s West Hollywood studio space, and now, says Rosen, the two are “inseparable creatively.”

By 2017, the year after Stoney arrived, Post signed a co-management deal with Electric Feel. (Today, the company offers management, label and publishing services.) Having two management companies steering an artist is a little unusual, but to the key players involved, it works just fine. “Electric Feel was always there,” says London. “These guys helped make it easier and formed a nice family around Post in the background.” Rosen, who is credited as a co-writer on some of Post’s biggest hits, says they play different roles: “I’m really in the music industry because I want to be a part of the creative process more so than the business process, and that’s why I chose to manage writers and producers at first. What I bring is identifying people they can trust, people who can really add value.”

The way Post sees it, “They both do their thing. Dre might be a little bit more of the social aspect and Rosen might be a little more behind the scenes, but everybody carries their load and that’s all you can really ask — and at the same time, having a friend, someone you can talk to.”

That kind of trust has helped Post navigate the sometimes tricky pop machinery around him. “It’s so hard,” he says. “You lose a lot of the artist nowadays because a lot of people have so many genius ideas, but you lose a lot of that through everything that might happen with the business side — and you lose a little bit of yourself. Every time you change your art and your way of thinking for someone else’s, that takes a little piece of yourself off every time. I feel like I’m trying to rebuild.”

One of the ways he’s doing that is by making his shortest album to date. Twelve carat toothache clocks in around 45 minutes — hardly brief, but relatively slim in an era where overstuffed hip-hop albums frequently dominate the charts. For Post, the goal was twofold. He wanted to avoid filler, which he believes he has had on prior releases. The new songs “speak more to how I’m feeling at the moment: the ups and downs and the disarray and the bipolar aspect of being an artist in the mainstream,” he says. Bell describes the record like a synesthesiac, calling it a marriage of “molten lava and fire” and “cyan blues and whites.” “The duality, the balance of everything, I think that’s what makes this album feel like it’s glued together,” he says.

Post also wanted to rebuke a numbers-obsessed streaming business that he has come to feel prizes algorithms over artistry. “Trying to shove 20 to 25 songs, it doesn’t work. Talking to the label [it’s like], ‘Oh, if you have less songs, you’re not going to stream as much,’ but the whole thing is that you don’t want to compromise your art and your gut vibe on anything,” he says. (Earlier this month, London wrote on Instagram that Republic, which did not respond to questions about the album’s length, was holding up the album: “We did our part!” ) “I’ve made a lot of compromises, especially musically, but now I don’t feel like I want to anymore. I don’t need a No. 1; that doesn’t matter to me no more, and at a point, it did.”

Not too long ago, Post Malone dropped $800,000 on a rare, non-playable Magic: The Gathering card. “It’s stupid, but I wanted it,” he says, holding it up. But he also knows that, sometimes, he has to spend money to make money. For his 2018 beerbongs & bentleys tour, his team dropped $13,000 on fog alone, his creative director, Lewis James, told Billboard in 2020 . For his 2020 Billboard Music Awards performance, James estimated they spent $80,000 on fireworks. “Post is all about having a good time,” London says, “from when I met him when he was 18 years old to now.”

But lately, Post has been thinking a lot more about what a sustainable career — and a sustainable life — looks like. It’s partly what drives him toward so many ventures outside of music: He single-handedly made Crocs cool again when he partnered with the shoe brand in 2018. (He has since released five collaborations with the company.) In May 2020, he launched a rosé wine, Maison No. 9, and in August 2020, he became a co-owner of Texas-based Envy Gaming. He has a streetwear brand called Trading Post Apparel, and this year, London reveals, Post will launch his very own beer, the flavor profile of which is currently being tested.

“No one knows for sure like, ‘Oh, I’m going to be good [financially],’ ” Post says, “but I like to hope that with what I have done so far, my family is good, everybody’s good for generations to come — with frugal spending and getting rid of some of the bulls–t that I don’t need.”

He and his team have discussed selling his catalog, as many superstars are doing for tens if not hundreds of millions of dollars, though no deals are yet in place. “It’s smart, it’s showing growth, and it’s showing stability in music again,” London says. “So I do like it, and have we thought about it? Of course. But every artist and team has to know when the time is right to make that decision — and there’s always a number.”

“It’s got to be a lot of money,” says Post, taking a long drag from a cigarette in a hand wearing a $3 million pinky ring pulled for the day’s photo shoot.

His touring business remains lucrative. In 2019, Post had the top R&B/hip-hop tour of the year (and 17th overall), grossing $75.9 million from 55 shows, according to Billboard Boxscore. Before the pandemic halted live performances, his abbreviated Runaway tour, in support of Hollywood’s Bleeding , raked in $54.9 million — the fifth-top-grossing tour of the year (based on a tracking period between Nov. 1, 2019, and Oct. 31, 2020); he’s working on turning footage from it into an upcoming concert documentary.

Not being able to tour for so long slowed Post’s creative process for the new album, says Bell. “That was always his biggest thing, him saying, ‘I don’t really want to put out music if I can’t tour, and I don’t want it to be old by the time I go on tour.’ ” He has slowly returned to the road on the festival circuit, headlining Chicago’s Lollapalooza in August and then Day N Vegas in November, after Travis Scott canceled his appearance following the deaths of 10 fans at his Astroworld Festival the previous week. “The promoters were pressing us on Sunday, then Monday, and they needed an answer because it was the next weekend,” London recalls. “I thought, ‘You know what? Maybe it will be a good break for him to go to Vegas, perform again and fill in for Travis after a horrible situation that we wouldn’t wish for anyone.’ It was showing support to our fellow musicians and our fellow concertgoers.”

Post says he hasn’t been in contact with Scott, with whom he has collaborated in the past, but adds that he hasn’t really been in touch with anyone outside of his inner circle these days. “I got a new phone and have like 30 people in my contacts,” he says. “A lot of my artist friends I haven’t spoken to. Quavo I haven’t seen in forever, but whenever I see Quavo, I’m like, ‘F–k, dude, let’s go!’ So much love. You really learn to appreciate [those moments together] even more.”

He did recently spend time with Republic labelmate The Weeknd, with whom he released the vengeful “One Right Now,” their first collaboration and the lead single for twelve carat toothache . London, who’s credited as a co-writer on the song, hopes it won’t be the last time the two work together, as he has considered booking them on a co-headlining stadium tour in the past, though nothing is in the works. (The Weeknd will embark on his own stadium trek this summer.) “I want to wait until 2023,” he says of Post’s official return to touring. Rosen thinks a tour could be a launching pad for a deluxe version of the new album. “We’d rather make another moment out of it,” he says, “so people can really dive in.”

Post talks about getting back on the road with some ambivalence. He describes the eventual tour for twelve carat toothache as something “looming over” him. “I love touring and I love meeting my fans and singing these songs with them, but at the same time, it’s such an ass-kicker. My back kills me, my neck kills me, my feet kill me. There’s a lot to think about, and there’s a lot to focus on. You kind of have to have chameleon eyes and look every which way and keep track of what’s going on at all times. It’s the give-and-take — you give up so much and you receive it in love, and that’s what everything is about: feeling loved. That’s what everybody wants.”

When asked what he’s most excited about, Post describes something that sounds an awful lot like retirement. “A ranch and solar panels, or a hydro-powered living situation,” he says, a grin spreading across his face. “Kicking it, nothing to do … I’ve made music for years and years, and down the line, I just want to relax and enjoy the simple things. Be like a kid again. Have no responsibilities and everything is handled: your kids, your family, everybody is set and doesn’t need to worry, so you can just play games and play in the tall grass.”

For now, here in Utah, at least, he’s allowed that dream in doses. As the various crew and team members from the day pack up and load out, Post trades his designer garments for a pair of sweats and an oversize shirt with a cat face. Just before the door to his back room closes, he settles into his ergonomic gaming chair — ready for another long night of playing until the sun comes up.

Post Malone Finds His ''Oasis'' in $3.95 Million Dollar Utah Home: Go Inside

The rapper says he left los angeles to get "away from the grind".

Post Malone, Utah House

Post Malone is definitely going to be hitting the slopes this winter season.

For the past year, the rapper has been living in the peaceful, quiet mountains of Northern Utah following a hectic year in the spotlight. In a recent interview with Zane Lowe  on Apple Music's Beats 1, the artist revealed that he moved to the suburbs of Salt Lake City to get "away from the grind."

"Being in Utah and being away from the grind and from everybody else and it's just me with my video games and cold one that feels good to me," he shared as he sipped wine in Provence, France.

It's no wonder the star loves his new life in the relatively secluded home. According to the listing, Post has everything a person could wish for: a wine cellar, workout room, basketball court, pool and fully-outfitted outdoor kitchen. Plus, he has more than enough space to accommodate guests, with five bedrooms and six baths.

Moreover, the star said he is currently in the process of building a studio in the home. This will be a great addition to the large office space that is built on the 12,072 sq. ft. estate.

According to the listing, the homeowner was seeking $3,950,000 for the house, which is a steal by Hollywood's standards.

The 24-year-old formerly lived in the San Fernando Valley before moving out of the residence in early 2018.

And it was a good thing he got out when he did. In Sept. 2018, the artist's former home was broken into and burgled of nearly $20,000 in items. At the time, it was reported that the burglars shouted, "Where's Post Malone?" They also pistol-whipped the new owners.

When discussing the incident with Zane he said, "You never know what's going to happen next." Post also said this terrifying crime inspired the song "Paranoid."

Luckily, he's since found his "oasis" in Utah.

So what’s going on with Post Malone and Utah?

For a few hours, it seemed like post malone was packing his bags and leaving utah behind.

For a few hours, it seemed like Post Malone was packing his bags and leaving Utah behind.

Is Post Malone leaving Utah?

During a recent interview on “The Howard Stern Show,” the rapper spoke about his home in Utah and said he was looking to expand. When Stern asked Malone if he planned to buy more property in Utah or look elsewhere, the artist responded that he was exploring options outside of Utah.

“We’re going to go to another state,” he said, per KSL-TV . “We have a plan for another state, and we have a plan for a bunker with a bowling alley and a car port and a swimming pool in it. I’m so excited. I’m so excited about it.”

This statement led a number of fans to speculate that Malone, who has lived in Utah for the past few years, was leaving the state for good, UPROXX reported. But the singer-songwriter didn’t leave his fans in confusion for too long.

“I’m not moving out of Utah y’all,” Malone shared in a statement on X , formerly Twitter, that has been viewed more than 1 million times. “Just getting some more land. I love living in this beautiful place.”

What Post Malone has said about Utah

Malone often speaks highly of living in Utah, calling the state an “oasis” after leaving Hollywood, the Deseret News previously reported.

A few years ago, the artist told  Variety  that being in Utah helps his anxiety, alleviating some of the stress that can stem from the celebrity life.

“Being in Utah and being away from the grind and from everybody else and it’s just me with my video games and cold one, that feels good to me,” he said .

In a cover story for Billboard magazine last year, Malone talked about how “there are very few distractions” in Utah and said living in the state helps him envision a life outside of music one day.

“A ranch and solar panels, or a hydro-powered living situation,” he told Billboard . “Kicking it, nothing to do. … I’ve made music for years and years, and down the line, I just want to relax and enjoy the simple things. Be like a kid again. Have no responsibilities and everything is handled: your kids, your family, everybody is set and doesn’t need to worry, so you can just play games and play in the tall grass.”

But Malone keeps busy in Utah. Earlier this year, he performed at the NBA All-Star Game that was held in Salt Lake City, per the Deseret News . He also lent his eclectic style to a new salmon pink Raising Cane’s location in Midvale, and did the same for a new Dallas Cowboys-themed Raising Cane’s location in Dallas, USA Today reported. He recently donated a signed acoustic guitar to help raise money for the Utah Honor Flight Program.

Those of you who are as obsessed with the insanely adorable personality and killer songwriting skills of rapper Post Malone will be happy to know that this article is made just for you. Below are exclusive Post Malone house details, but first, let’s take a step back.

Post burst onto the scene around 2013 and has since gained massive popularity for his distinct vocal style, introspective songwriting and masterful blend of pop, rap, and rock genres. If you’re interested in learning more about the life and music of  America’s most loveable rapper, then you’re in luck. We’re here to break down your top questions on singer/songwriter Austin Richard Post.

Where does Post Malone live?

Post malone house utah.

It was reported a few years back that the rapper purchased a gorgeous 13,000-square-foot home in Northern Utah to the tune of $3 million. Some reports have speculated that the rapper’s residence (whose location has been kept locked up pretty tightly) is in Salt Lake City, while others have mentioned that it may actually be situated in nearby Park City.

Since then, he’s been spotted around Salt Lake City at various locations such as a Target and a car dealership. However, when news spread that he was spending time around Utah, it was Morgan County police that responded publicly about maintaining his privacy. The home is reportedly situated on seven acres and was purchased as a hangout spot for his pals that he planned to use as a “fallout shelter.” Ok, Post, ok.

Well, in September 2019, our friends at TMZ  finally nailed down the house Post bought, and it’s gorgeous. The home is a work of art, having been designed by world-renowned architect Guy Dreier.

The 12,302 square foot home is just South of Salt Lake City and it’s super secluded. Sitting on 6.75-acres, the 5 bedroom, 6 bathroom spread has all the amenities you’d expect – chef’s kitchen, bar, basketball court, even separate guests quarters and a private office.

Rumor has it that Post has in fact built his underground bunker on the property. No photos of that yet, though.

Post Malone House Los Angeles

Malone’s most recent Los Angeles home on file is a gorgeous place in Encino California. Records show that he rented the home from December 2017 to July 2018 for a whopping $12,000 per month.

The 4,169-square-foot abode has 5 bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms and is estimated to be worth $2.5 million. The home, which was originally built in 1960, has a gorgeous glass double-door at the entrance with a beautiful tree design as well as a large swimming pool in the back. It sits on .48 acres and comes with high ceilings, a massive gourmet kitchen with Viking range, granite counters, a fireplace and is designed with an open floor plan. There is additionally an outdoor barbecue/patio area with a private pool and spa and two parking spaces.

The home gained attention late last year when it was burglarized over Labor Day weekend by someone who thought Post still lived there. The intruders busted in a front window and one of the residents staying there at the time was pistol-whipped. It was reported that the house was ransacked, and  $20,000 worth of cash was stolen in addition to several other personal items such as cell phones and jewelry.

Post Malone Music

Post malone songs.

Malone’s one of those artists who pretty much just strike gold every time he releases a song. His debut single “White Iverson” made the top 20 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and got him his recording contract with Republic Records. “Rockstar” and “Psycho” were released and gained massive popularity as well. The artist collaborated with Swae Lee for his song “Sunflower”, another commercial hit, which was also picked up for the soundtrack to Spider Man: Into the Spider-Verse. Other singles released include “Too Young”, “Go Flex”, “Déjà vu”, “Congratulations”, “Candy Paint” (my personal favorite), “I Fall Apart”, “Better Now” and another favorite of mine, “Wow”.

Post Malone album

To date, Post has released just two studio albums. Stoney, the first, was released in 2016,  topped the Billboard 200 charts at number four and went triple platinum. His second album, Beerbongs &  Bentleys, performed a little bit better debuting at the number one spot on the Billboard 200 charts. It furthermore broke multiple streaming records and received a Grammy nod. To date, he has sold a total of 60 million records in the United States alone.

Post Malone Tour

I’ve got good news for those of you who can’t get enough of Austin Richard Post – he’s currently on tour as of June 2019! However, he has just three more stops in the U.S. until he begins the European leg of his tour which kicks off in Odemira, Portugal. After that he’ll head to Hungary, Belgium, Poland, Ireland, the UK and finish off in Vegas and New Orleans. Phew! That’s a lot of work and a ton of travel in just five months. No wonder he’s pulling in the big bucks.

Post Malone YouTube

Since being thrust into the spotlight, the rapper has accumulated quite a following on YouTube where he posts all of his latest music videos and more. To date, he has a total of 13 million followers with video views averaging in the 100’s of millions range. Even crazier? His “Congratulations” video featuring Quavo which was posted just two years ago has hit a whopping 1 billion views. There also ironically happens to be a channel by the name of Austin Post on YouTube if you do the research. It has 50,000 followers and one video which was uploaded on October 6, 2013. The video is shot in what looks like a studio and features a cover of Bob Dylan’s song “Don’t Think Twice, It’s All Right”.

Spoiler Alert: It’s pretty darn good.

Post Malone Cars

It’s no secret that Post Malone has mad car fever. His father is also an enthusiast, which has undoubtedly played a role in the rapper’s penchant for purchasing luxury vehicles. When his album dropped, he went out and customized a white Lincoln Continental. He also remodeled an old SUV of his and turned it into what he refers to as the “Texas whip”.

But that’s not where it ends, folks. The rapper also has a thing for Rolls Royces.  He purchased a Wraith in the range of $320,000  and recently made headlines when he was involved in a car accident with a KIA which resulted in the car being totaled. Don’t cry for him though. Post went out shortly after and decided to get an upgrade. But not just any upgrade. We’re talking a $100,000 upgrade to a Rolls Royce Phantom – just one day after the crash. Not bad, Post. Not bad. It’s also been reported by his neighbors that he has a Lamborghini and a Mercedes.

Post Malone Net Worth

It seems like Post Malone burst onto the music scene just yesterday blessing our ears with “White Iverson”. This was actually years ago in 2013, but nonetheless, he’s still managed to compile quite a bit of cash within that time frame. How much, you ask? Well, according to one of our favorite sources on celebrity’s net worth, the rapper has stacked up a total of $14 million. That’s an average of $3.5 million per year. Not bad for a 22-year-old.

Post Malone teases country collaboration with Morgan Wallen: 'Let's go with the real mix'

Post Malone is getting his yeehaw groove on with the help of a friend.

The Grammy-nominated singer and rapper previewed an upcoming collaboration with country singer Morgan Wallen in a video posted to Instagram Wednesday.

In the clip, Malone is seated with a cellphone in his hand as a snippet of the song plays. The “I Like You (A Happier Song)” emcee then takes a sip of a beverage as the song’s emotional opening lines are sung. “It takes two to break a heart in two,” Wallen sings, before Malone adds, “Baby you blame me, and baby I’ll blame you."

“let’s go with the real mix this time @morganwallen 😂” Malone captioned the post.

Malone continues to jam out to the country-rock tune in the video, as the singers’ gritty tones intertwine on the song’s up-tempo chorus: “I had some help, it ain’t like I can make this kind of mess all by myself / Don’t act like you ain’t help me pull that bottle off the shelf,” Malone and Wallen sing. “If you couldn’t tell, they say teamwork makes the dream work / Hell I had some help.”

A release date and title for the song have not been announced.

Wallen shared Malone’s enthusiasm for the unreleased song in the Instagram comments.

“I had some help getting to the point of posting it at 4 am,” Wallen wrote. “This song is one of my (favorites) in a long time. Proud to be on it (with you) bub!!”

This isn’t the first time Malone and Wallen have shown love to each other. In November, the two appeared together on the red carpet at the 57th annual Country Music Association Awards in Nashville, Tennessee.

Malone, wearing a cowboy hat, made an animated face for the camera, while Wallen threw up a playful peace sign. Malone later joined Wallen and HARDY on the CMA Awards tribute to country legend Joe Diffie, performing Diffie's hit "Pickup Man."

Malone’s latest album, “Austin,” was released in July 2023 and peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart. The album earned the singer a pair of top 5 hits on Billboard’s Hot Rock & Alternative Songs chart, “Overdrive” and “Enough is Enough.”

Wallen’s 2023 album “One Thing at a Time” peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart and spawned the Hot 100 No. 1 hit “Last Night.”
