Amazing Excursion with Mike Fisher Tours

Beautiful excursion on 5/28/23 with Mike Fisher Tours and Travel. Excellent communication leading up to the trip. Prompt pick up at 8am at Secrets Cap Cana. Bus exchange within 15 minutes. Short bathroom stop in a clean location in route to the marina to board boat. Gorgeous day on the water. Perfect weather. I always tell my world of friends never leave this earth until you see the blue Caribbean sea. The water in this part of the Dominican coast line is indescribable. We had several stops that I called a ‘Sandbar party in the Caribbean “ lunch delicious. Some rum and other drinks provided. Even saw turtles in the mangroves. Such a great excursion with Mike Fishers professional staff. Very safe and knowledgeable. Had a great lesson on the Dominican culture on the way to the boat. That was a bonus ! Back at resort by 4:45. Perfect timing to hit the pool bar for last call.

Saona island is beautiful but the tour is so unorganized. It takes forever to get to the bus because the shuttle pick you up from your hotel along with other people from a bunch of other hotels. They you transfer to a big bus so it’s time consuming. Most people don’t speak English not even the tour guides so only half the things get translated. Luckily my friend speaks Spanish otherwise we’d be so lost. They don’t provide towels so make sure you bring it with you. The tour bus was old and dirty. There was a fly flying around in the bus too. The buffet food wasn’t great and the “open bar” they only serve dark rum and beer for alcoholic beverages. There was only one starfish in the ocean and it wasn’t real….also the tour guides pressured us for tips even though then didn’t really do anything for tips. On the way back the party boat was fun but it takes along time to get back like a two hours the boat goes really slow on the way back. we were tired and sunburn by then. We ended up skipping out on the bus back and got an Uber instead. If your hotel has a nice beach I’d just stay at the beach there and skip out in this excursion.

Beautiful island, worth to visit this amazing place and you can enjoy the Blue Lagoon too.So much fun and it’s beautiful

Best experience I’ve ever had, everyone was friendly the place was picturesque and just amazing! We visited saona and the blue lagoon and it was incredible.

No one can claim the island isn't beautiful from the pictures and even being there. The tour guide, Papa German, was amazing, such a great guy. Food on the beach was great and the view was lovely. However, was it worth a 12 hour day absolutely not, and the beach and sea at the hotel resort was actually better. It was a real shame as I was so looking forward to this excursion.

I came here with my partner and our friends. We travelled from Punta Cana which I will admit was very long we did bus and catamaran. Honestly though so worth it. One of the best days of my life! On the island itself, it was virtually all-inclusive with free soft drinks and rum and coke then there was a buffet too. the views of this island were just something different. The only thing I would say is there was a lot of sea weed where the sea meets the sand and rocks in the sea (which clearly can't be controlled) however when you're actually in the sea it is stunning. On the return boat we went to a natural pool in the middle of the sea got to drink rum and coke whilst standing in the middle of the ocean and this alone I would have paid for, this is why I say it was one of the best days of my life. If you can ignore the travelling part, this place is an absolute must.

This was THE nicest vehicle we've ever ridden in. The driver, Johnathan, was so friendly and did a great job getting us where we needed to go. I will be using Mike Fisher transfer service from now on!

Daniel was our driver and we were in excellent hands with him. He was on time leaving and returning from our excursion, and made us feel safe the hole time. Could not recommend a better driver.

I would give this company and our driver Daniel 10 stars if I could! Daniel was very kind, prompt, and made sure we were taken great care of to and from our hotel. He stayed with us till our connecting transferred arrived and was there waiting for us exactly when and where he said he would be. After dropping my husband and I back off at our hotel, about 15 minutes later my husband realized his phone was no longer in his pocket like he thought it was and was thinking/hoping it was dropped in Daniels van. I began frantically calling DWJ and after my 3rd call I received a text from Adriana wondering how she could help. I told her what happened and she was on it! Thankfully, Daniel found the phone and headed back to bring it to us. Upon his arrival, my husband said he said he had JUST gotten off work and was at home getting ready to relax for the evening. He probably could just of easily said no and he would bring it back tomorrow, but instead he drove the 30 minutes to bring us back the phone and insure our piece of mind, because every bit of our travel information was on my husbands phone. We greatly appreciate the kindness shown and Daniel going above and beyond. We will without a doubt use and recommend DWJ services to anyone traveling to the Dominican Republic. Thank you all so so much!
