Great price and fantastic service.

Stewart found a good price for an around the world airfare that changed a couple of cities to get a better price for me.Our round the world business class airfare was cheaper than a return business airfare with the major airlines to Europe. Stewart and Mark got back to me multiple times during the day each day we were setting this route up.My trip was sorted and paid for within 5 days.Their service is impeccable.

I have used Roundabout travel twice now and recommended to a number of friends. We have all been thrilled with the $ value of their flights (better than we can do using flight search engines) plus their expertise at putting together complicated routes and responsive customer service. Has anyone used Roundabout Travel in Adelaide recently. The only reviews I can find are from 8 years ago. We are thinking of booking a round the world trip.

If anyone in Adelaide has found a reliable Travel agent who would help in planning a trip I'd appreciate if you could let me know. I live in north suburbs of Adelaide city but could easily Travel anywhere in the suburbs.

Yes they are a genuine company ... and yes they can get RTW fares at great prices.

We haven't used them for 4 years but I still keep up with their Facebook page.

They score very highly but I am aware that Trustpilot is not always a reliable source of information but they are highly ranked there. Read the reviews good and bad and use your spider sense to see if they are genuine etc.

If you are local call in to their office and talk with them.

Their website is certainly up to date and, yes, they seem to offer some excellent RTW fares.

Melbourne’s roundabout of death is getting another upgrade

Peak hour driving is stressful at the best of times. Add onto that a roundabout that boasts four entry points, three tram stops, nine sets of traffic lights, several pedestrian crossings, bike lanes and an estimated 25,000 vehicles per day, and you’ve got yourself a nightmare-riddled drive.  

We’re of course talking about Haymarket roundabout, located just north of the CBD where Elizabeth Street, Flemington Road, Peel Street and Royal Parade intersect. It’s long been dubbed the ‘roundabout of death’ by Melburnians (and Wikipedia !) thanks to the combo of confusing line markings, unsuspecting trams and round-the-clock traffic which often makes it a battle for drivers, cyclists, pedestrians and trams. Not to mention how easy it is to screw it all up and end up going back the way you came.

Even the recent $2.4 million upgrades made to the roundabout in 2011 – which included the addition of more traffic lights and dedicated bike lanes – haven’t managed to make a dent to the congestion. But thankfully, there might be light at the end of the tunnel.    

The state government has announced they’ll be putting $100,000 towards a business case to improve the safety of the intersection. Their goal is to find a happy medium for everyone, which might mean separated bike lanes, upgraded pedestrian crossings and a priority put towards public transport. Fingers crossed this means the days of cheating death daily are close to over.
