This show was amazing!!! This is my third time seeing Third World only thing missing was the late great Bunny Rags but they carried on well without their leader wonderful show hope to see them again soon!!!!

Third World are a band that have been around for over forty years. They have had a huge career having been signed to Island, Columbia and Mercury Records. With a Reggae sound that is made up of one part soul and two parts musicality, Third World have a queue that is out of the door and down the street ready for this huge show tonight. Eventually the doors are open and punters line up along the bars fueling liquid confidence and what not.

“Now That We Found Love”, the bands biggest single has every person in the audience, young or old, singing along to this huge music. They endorse a sort of “roots” style of Reggae, that is so infectious that everyone is as close to the stage as they can be, getting their fill of this wonderful music. “It’s The Same Old Song” gets this slightly inebriated audience bouncing throughout the duration of the rest of this show.

K-pop outfit Stray Kids are teasing a big 2024 that includes a pair of new albums and another world tour.

In an artsy, retrospective “Step Out 2024” video that looks back at the octet’s busy 2023 — including their performance at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards — the group gave fans a promise of “What’s Next,” which includes their grand plans for this year.

On the docket: A third world tour, a fourth “fanmeeting,” and the two LPs, both “1 album and 1 special album.” There are also pop-up shows, new episodes of their YouTube series, and more.

In November, Stray Kids won the award for Top K-Pop Album for  5-Star , beating out LPs by Jimin, New Jeans, TXT, and Twice. “Without the love and support from everyone, we would probably not have made it this far, and if wasn’t for the people that have been running by our side this whole time, the music that we create would not have been able to reach the people in need,” Bang Chan  said for the group  at the awards show.

"The difference over the past summer, and in terms of the upcoming Tests against England, is that the interest is being converted to bums on seats and is driving record viewership numbers. Both Australia and Sri Lanka women's teams, alongside Sri Lanka and Pakistan men's teams, will also be touring in the 2024/2025 summer. The remainder of New Zealand's home international schedule will be announced later.

BCCI announces India women's squad for T20I series against Bangladesh

M umbai (Maharashtra) [India], April 15 (ANI): The Board of Council for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the Indian women's cricket team squad on Monday for the five-match T20I series against Bangladesh.

Right-hand batter Harmanpreet Kaur will lead the side and her deputy will be opener Smriti Mandhana. The wicketkeepers for the side would be Richa Ghosh and Yastika Bhatia.

This will be India's second tour of Bangladesh in the last two years. Last year, the 'Women in Blue' played three 20-over matches against Bangladesh and Harmanpreet Kaur's side won the series 2-1.

The upcoming T20I series will kick off India's preparation for the upcoming T20 World Cup. The women's 20-over World Cup will kick off in September-October and will be played in Bangladesh.

India hold the third place in women's T20I rankings. Bangladesh are placed ninth.

In the 2023 T20 World Cup, India qualified for the semi-final and lost to Australia.

The 'Women in Blue' qualified for the upcoming T20 World Cup after finishing as one of the top six teams in the last edition of the tournament.

Bangladesh qualified directly after being the host of the upcoming event.

According to ESPNcricinfo, the India women's team will arrive in Bangladesh on April 23. The first match of the series will take place on April 28. The second and third games will be played on April 30 and May 2 respectively. The final two matches will be held on May 6 and 24.
