The Masked Singer season 9's Squirrel advanced to the next round of the competition on DC Superheroes Night. There are some clues to her identity.

On DC Superheroes Night, The Masked Singer season 9 contestant Squirrel advanced to the next round of the competition, and many clues were given for her identity. Squirrel impressed the panelists (Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg, Ken Jeong, and Nicole Scherzinger) with her moving rendition of "Try" by Pink. When she first appeared on the stage, Jenny called her, "dainty," and said that she looked like a model. Ken called her, "gorgeous." Squirrel later competed against Gargoyle in the Battle Royale, during which they both sang "Kryptonite" by 3 Doors Down. Although the panel was torn about who should win the round, Squirrel emerged victorious.

However, The Masked Singer season 9 features the first-ever panelists' save in the form of the Ding Dong Keep It On Bell. Jenny rang the bell, and Gargoyle also made it through to a future round. He will compete against Medusa and the final future save later in the season. Squirrel will return the following week to sing on Sesame Street Night, which will feature Jennifer Nettles as a guest panelist. While fans wait for Squirrel's next performance, they can put together her clues in order to figure out her identity.

The Masked Singer's Squirrel Was A Figure Skater First

Squirrel's clue package began with her walking on a tree branch. She then fell, and screamed as she plummeted to the ground. However, the scene was then revealed to have been filmed in front of a green screen. The Masked Singer season 9 contestant Squirrel said, "Yeah, that's me. You might be asking how I got myself into this mess." Squirrel began her story by saying, "Growing up, I was just your average professional figure skater with Olympic dreams."

The Masked Singer's Squirrel Ended Up In Hollywood

Squirrel revealed that she wanted to be a child psychologist, saying, "Side note - my super power's empathy." A happy face pin was then shown as she said, "Cute, right?" As Squirrel conducted a therapy session with one of The Masked Singer's men in black, a gorilla interrupted them. She said, "But instead I landed myself in the psycho city of Hollywood." Squirrel continued her story by saying, "What happened next could've happened to billions of bombshells. I modeled for a major agency, did some teen acne commercials, landed some international sitcom parts, and made out with Tom Cruise."

A plate of Swedish meatballs was then featured in Squirrel's The Masked Singer clue package . She shared, "These days I love getting to play superheroes, just as much as I love playing the girl next door who's also funny. What can I say? I got range." A cardboard cut-out of a castle was then shown. Squirrel concluded by saying, "So ... that's pretty much how I ended up here. All dolled up in a sexy squirrel costume ready to show you just how nuts I am."

The Masked Singer's Squirrel Had A Special Clue

For Squirrel's final Masked Singer clue, world-renowned comic book artist, writer, and editor Jim Lee, who is also the publisher and chief creative officer of DC, presented a drawing that he made of Batman and Squirrel. He pointed out the words, "Hero Time," which he wrote in the cityscape. Squirrel explained the clue to The Masked Singer panelists by saying, "Just like that piece of art, I put time into my work. But it's all worth it, when I get to watch the final product, like this clue - Hero Time."

The Masked Singer Panelists Made Their Guesses

The Masked Singer panelists had some interesting guesses for Squirrel. Jenny picked up on the gorilla in the clue package, and noted that Naomi Watts starred in King Kong . However, she didn't know if she made out with Tom Cruise. That led her to Tom's ex-wife, Katie Holmes. She said that. "Hero Time" made her think of Katie even more because she was in the movie Batman Begins . Ken listed other actresses who have kissed Tom, including Michelle Monaghan from Mission: Impossible and Renée Zellweger from Jerry Maguire .

However, Ken also guessed Margot Robbie , who played Harley Quinn and Olympic figure skater Tonya Harding in I, Tonya . He also noted that Margot is going to play Barbie, which would match the, "all dolled up" clue. However, Jenny pointed out that Margot never kissed Tom. Robin thought she might be Uma Thurman because she played Poison Ivy in Batman and Robin . He also chose her because she has Swedish heritage, and there were Swedish meatballs in the clue package.

The Masked Singer's Squirrel's Clues Match A Famous Actress

Although The Masked Singer panelists did a great job of analyzing the clues, the hints actually point in the direction of a different actress: Malin Akerman. She is Swedish, which explains the Swedish meatballs clue. Malin competed nationally in figure skating for ten years. She studied child psychology at Toronto's York University before deciding to pursue acting as a career.

The gorilla Masked Singer clue most likely refers to her starring role in Rampage , in which Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson teams up with a mutated gorilla named George to save Chicago. In addition, Malin won Ford's Supermodel of Canada search when she was 17. and then signed with the agency. She also appeared in a Noxzema commercial. The, "all dolled-up" clue probably refers to her role of Celeste on the Hulu comedy series, Dollface . Finally, Malin made out with Tom Cruise in the film Rock of Ages .

Whomever Squirrel turns out to be, she has set the bar high for the second group of The Masked Singer season 9. If she continues to advance, she will take on California Roll in the quarter-finals. She definitely has the potential to go very far. With her stunning vocals, Squirrel has The Masked Singer panelists going nuts over her incredible performances.

Squirrel had everyone talking. One of the characters to debut during DC Superheroes Night on The Masked Singer US season 9 had people guessing; there's a tweet featuring a set of ice skates so early chatter was that she might be a figure skater, but the slight tease of her tongue under her whiskered nose almost makes it feel like she's laughing at us because she's going to prove everyone wrong. 

Squirrel made her debut on The Masked Singer along with Gargoyle and Wolf during DC Superheroes Night. After making it to the Battle Royale with Gargoyle, Squirrel ended up moving on. 

She was unmasked during Sesame Street Night.

Celebrity Clue: The Celebrity Clue was delivered by DC Chief Creative Officer Jim Lee and it was "hero time." Squirrel said, "Just like that piece of art, I put time into my work. But it’s all worth it when I get to see the final product, like this clue, ‘hero time.’"

Voiceover clue: "Yeah, that’s me. You might be asking how I got myself into this mess. Growing up I was just your average professional ice skater with Olympic dreams. I wanted to be a toxicologist. Celebrity Clue: Buffalo Bills' Damar Hamlin brought out a football that had a picture of panelist Ken Jeong on it. Squirrel said, "Ken, this is not the first time we've worked together. But it is the first time you've had more lines."

Voiceover Clue: "My coming out as the squirrel last week was nuts. I had some tough competition, but I knew if I got into the battle royale I could tap into my inner rock star and really show what I’m made of. Now that I’m sitting in the champion seat, I’m feeling a new fire. I’m working hard to make sure no one’s going to take this title from me, especially not on ‘Sesame Street’ night. Who is Squirrel on The Masked Singer US? Costume clues

Squirrel has big ears, a big tail and some big energy! She's dressed in a very futuristic-looking blue and silver suit, with boots lined with white faux fur. She's even wearing a leathery corset decorated with acorns. It's possible that her costume is a reference to someone who comes prepared for every possible scenario; we all know that squirrels like to hide their nuts for a rainy day, so it's safe to say that The Masked Singer 's Squirrel might be ready for a downpour!

‘The Masked Singer’ Squirrel guesses: Katie Holmes, Margot Robbie, Uma Thurman … ?

The four panelists on “ The Masked Singer ” are going “nuts” trying to figure out the identity of the secret celebrity hiding inside the Squirrel costume. The blue rodent performed Pink ‘s “Try” during the fourth episode of Season 9 and earned enough votes to advance to the following week. That means we’ll all have to wait a bit longer to find out who she really is. Do YOU have any ideas? Read on for the judges’ “The Masked Singer” Squirrel guesses.

“Squirrel, you made the audience and us go nuts,” Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg stated after her rousing performance on the big stage during DC Superheroes Night. “The tone of your voice is so freaking beautiful. I feel like it’s very familiar, but nonetheless I think you killed it tonight.”

The guessing game commenced, with DC Comics chief creative officer Jim Lee drawing a “Hero Time” clue of Batman standing in front of a cityscape. Squirrel explained, “Well, just like that piece of art, I put time into my work, but it’s all worth it when I get to watch the final product, like this clue, ‘Hero Time.'”

That prompted Jenny to blurt out “King Kong” star Naomi Watts because of the gorilla hint. She also threw out the name Katie Holmes from “Batman Begins” because she “made out with Tom Cruise ,” which was another clue.

Ken Jeong also picked up on the Tom Cruise clue and suggested some of his former co-stars like Michelle Monaghan (“Mission: Impossible”) and Renée Zellweger (“Jerry Maguire”). However, based on Jenny’s Harley Quinn costume, Ken’s final prediction for Squirrel was that she was really Margot Robbie . Robbie also fit along with the clues of a figure skater (for “I, Tonya”) and being dolled up (for “Barbie”).

Robin Thicke joined in on the fun by naming Uma Thurman , who starred as Poison Ivy in “Batman & Robin.” “She is Swedish for Swedish meatballs,” he added in reference to a food clue. And she’s “so freaking tall,” chimed in Jenny.

For those counting at home, that’s six movie stars that the judges have guessed so far for the Squirrel: Naomi Watts, Katie Holmes, Michelle Monaghan, Renée Zellweger, Margot Robbie and Uma Thurman. Which one do YOU think it is?

'The Masked Singer' Unmasks Squirrel as an Early 2000s Movie Mainstay

The Masked Singer Season 9 took audiences to Sesame Street with another themed episode this week. There were two unmaskings this week, after consecutive weeks of panelists saving a celebrity. One of the characters unmasked was Squirrel, who impressed panelists last week with her performance of Pink's "Try." Unfortunately for Squirrel, her March 15 performance was not enough to keep her in the game. She was revealed to be an actress best known for her popular roles in early 2000s movies. Continue on to learn Squirrel's identity (if you weren't already watching  via FuboTV  or another live service). Spoilers follow!

Squirrel was "feeling a new fire" before this week's show since she was now in the champion's seat. The clue package included a gorilla stealing some chocolate treats, as well as a smiley face badge. She dedicated her performance of "Just the Two of Us" to The Count because her child is his biggest fan. The squirrel also showed off a wedding dress.

Following the performance, Elmo, Buffalo Bills star Damar Hamlin, and his younger brother Damir came out to help share a new clue. The clue was a football with panelist Ken Jeong's face on it. Squirrel confirmed she worked with Jeong in a movie, but he was still stumped! She guessed his Knocked Up co-star Katherine Heigl. Nicole Scherzinger guessed Kate Hudson (who has not made a movie with Jeong). Then, McCarthy Wahlberg correctly guessed Malin Akerman ! Guest panelist Jennifer Nettles guessed Anne Hathaway (who has also never made a movie with Jeong). After failing to make the battle royale, Robin Thicke guessed Heather Graham (who was in the Hangover movies with Jeong).

When Squirrel removed her mask, it was none other than Akerman under there! Akerman and Jeong starred in the 2009 movie Couples Retreat together. She's also known for kissing Tom Cruise in the 2012 movie musical Rock of Ages . The smiley face button in this week's clue package was a reference to Watchmen , in which she played Silk Spectre. As for the wedding dress, this was a reference to 27 Dresses (which coincidentally starred Heigl). Akerman is also known for her roles in The Proposal and Watchmen .

The Masked Singer  airs on Wednesday nights at 8 p.m. ET on Fox. ‘The Masked Singer’: Who Is Squirrel? Ken Jeong Is Convinced That Margot Robbie Is Beneath the Mask (Exclusive Video)

But the lingering question is: Has she made out with Tom Cruise?

It’s superhero night on “The Masked Singer” on Wednesday, but Ken Jeong thinks it might be the actress behind a beloved super villain that’s under one of the masks. This time around, the judge thinks Margot Robbie may have stopped by his show.

OK, calling Harley Quinn a super villain might be taking things a little far, but you get our point. Robbie became a household name thanks to her portrayal of the Joker’s love interest and for once, Jeong’s guess is actually based on a solid foundation rather than his typical reaches.

You can watch TheWrap’s exclusive sneak peek of the episode, and try to piece together a few clues for yourself, in the video above.

Apparently, figure skates are one of the clues given on the Squirrel’s identity, which Jeong takes to be a reference to Robbie’s turn — or technically, turns — on ice in “I, Tonya.” Jeong also notes that one of the clues was “all dolled up,” which lines up well with the fact that Robbie is starring as the eponymous Mattel doll in Greta Gerwig’s “Barbie” later this year.

The only rub is, as judge Jenny McCarthy — who is dressed as Harley Quinn, ironically enough — points out, that Robbie has never kissed Tom Cruise before (at least onscreen). That clue is apparently a big piece, as Jeong starts there in the clip, suggesting perhaps the Squirrel is Michelle Monaghan or Nicole Kidman, before officially guessing Robbie.

So, who’s actually under the squirrel mask? Well, there’s no way to know until she’s eliminated from the competition. That could be Wednesday night, or it could be a bit further down the road. We’ll just have to wait and see!

In the meantime, it’s worth remembering that this season’s contestants boast a combined 28 Emmy Nominations, six Grammy Wins, 10 Gold Albums, four Golden Globe Nominations, five Medals, 26 Books, two Tony Award Nominations, five Lifetime Achievement Awards, four Stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and a combined 95,231,000 records sold.

Who Is Squirrel On ‘The Masked Singer’?: All The Clues

The latest episode of The Masked Singer included three brand-new singers , including Squirrel. After a tough week of competition, it was Squirrel that won the fan vote and moved on to the next round.

Here is what we know about who Squirrel is on the reality show based on the singing and the clues.

Who is Squirrel on The Masked Singer ?

This week, there were three brand-new singers in The Masked Singer competition for a spot to move on in the competition. The three new costumes were Squirrel, Gargoyle, and Wolf.

Not only were the singers in costumes this week, but the panelists all dressed up like DC Comics heroes (and villains). Nicole Scherzinger was Catwoman (she was in the Pussycat Dolls). Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg dressed up as Harley Quinn. Ken Jeung was Riddler and Robin Thicke was Robin.

However, it was the singers that fans wanted to know the identities of. The first round saw Gargoyle sing Charlie Puth’s “One Call Away.” Wolf sang The Doors’ “Break On Through” and Squirrel sang Pink’s “Try.” As it is with the new formatting from this and last season, one of the singers unmasked halfway through the show and went home early.

That was Wolf, and all but Ken figured out who it was based just on his voice. Michael Bolton was Wolf and unmasked to go home first this week. That means that Squirrel and Gargoyle were the two headed for the Battle Royale round.

The two had to sing 3 Doors Down’s hit song “Kryptonite.” The end came with the voting naming Squirrel as the winner this week, meaning that she moved on to the next round. However, there was also a twist, as this week, the panelists saved Gargoyle, meaning he is moving on to the next The Masked Singer rounds instead of coming back next week to compete against Squirrel and two new singers.

Breaking down Squirrel’s clues on  The Masked Singer

So, who is Squirrel on The Masked Singer ? As mentioned, she sang Pink’s “Try.” It was good enough to move on to next week’s  Sesame Street -themed competition. Here are the clues.

“Growing up, I was just your average professional figure skater with Olympic dreams,” Squirrel said in their clue package. “I wanted to be a child psychologist.” This package showed Swedish meatballs, a castle, ice skates, a gorilla, and a smiley face button.

She also said that she landed “myself in the psycho city of Hollywood” and “made out with Tom Cruise.” One more clue was Squirrel saying, “Just like that piece of art, I put time into my work. But it’s all worth it when I get to watch the final product like this clue, hero time.”

The panelists threw out a ton of names including Katie Holmes, Michelle Monaghan, Margot Robbie, Uma Thurman, Naomi Watts, and Renee Zellweger.

We believe that Squirrel is Malin Akerman.

Akerman was born in Sweden (Swedish meatballs) and she used to be a figure skater. She was also studying to be a child psychologist before her acting career. That smiley face was straight out of the movie Watchmen , of which she was one of the main stars (as a hero, nonetheless). She was in  Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle (the castle). She also kissed Tom Cruise in the movie Rock of Ages .

The latest installment features all-new themes, wackier masks, and some truly shocking performances that serve to throw our seasoned panelists for a loop as they try to discern who's under the mask every week. Naturally, the season is still full of wild card performers to keep everyone on their toes.

One of them is Sir Lion who takes the stage during TV Theme Song Night. Sir Lion was revealed to be radio and TV host Billy Bush. The "well-known pride" he comes from is none other than the presidential Bush family! George H.W. Bush is his uncle, and George W. Bush is his cousin. After his reveal, Billy had this encouraging message for viewers: "If you've never done something that's a little on the scary side, [...] say yes, and do it!"

The Masked Singer : This Grammy Winner Was Just Unmasked

The masked singer 's march 8 episode honored dc comics superheroes and featured a legendary, award-winning vocalist revealed as the wolf..

The Masked Singer introduced three super new contenders.

The March 8 episode of the celebrity singing competition honored DC Comics superheroes with a stage decked out with famous movie memorabilia and the panelists dressed up as their favorite characters . 

Up first, the Gargoyle made his Masked Singer debut with a performance of "One Call Away" by Charlie Puth . His clue package included a jukebox, an "I Love LA" sticker, a video game controller, hot sauce and a credit card. After he performed, Shazam! Fury of the Gods stars Zachary Levi and Helen Mirren appeared virtually to present a final clue: the words "record breaker."

The Wolf took to the stage next with a rendition of The Doors ' "Break on Through." The furry creature's clue package included a saxophone, a clock, a ship and references to Andy Garcia , Lady Gaga , Jay-Z and Andy Samberg . Once he belted his heart out, Zachary and Helen returned with another clue: the word "Timberlake."

Finally, the Squirrel hit the stage with a performance of Pink 's "Try" preceded by a clue package including meatballs, a gorilla, a castle and the knowledge that she once made out with Tom Cruise . For the final clue, DC Comics chief creative officer Jim Lee presented an original illustration featuring the words "Hero Time."

After the initial audience and panelist poll, Wolf received the lowest amount of votes and was unmasked as two-time Grammy award winner Michael Bolton , best known for ballads like "How Am I Supposed to Live Without You" and "When a Man Loves a Woman."

"It's an honor always to hear you sing," panelist Nicole Scherzinger , dressed as Catwoman, told Michael. "No one does it like you. You still do it so gracefully and effortlessly." 

With the Wolf eliminated, Gargoyle and Squirrel were left to go head-to-head in the Battle Royale set to 3 Doors Down 's "Kryptonite."

After they duked it out, Squirrel was victorious and moved on to the next round. However, for the second week in a row , the panel rang the Ding Dong Keep It On Bell, which saved Gargoyle from elimination.

Rock Lobster debuted on the Feb. 22 episode with a performance of ABBA 's "SOS." His clues included a plushy monster toy, a gavel and the knowledge that he had a history in movies and TV.

After the initial studio audience vote, Rock Lobster was unmasked as Howie Mandel .

Night Owl debuted on the Feb. 22 episode with a rendition of ABBA 's "Fernando." Her clue package included an hourglass, Long Island iced teas, a snake and the claim that she helped pave the way for singers like Britney Spears , Christina Aguilera and Nicole Scherzinger .

After falling to Medusa in the Battle Royale, Night Owl was unmasked as pop star  Debbie Gibson .

On the March 1 episode, Polar Bear made his debut with a performance of Blondie 's "Rapture." His clue package included flowers, a scratch-off lottery ticket, a punching bag and a reference to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

Polar Bear was unmasked as hip-hop pioneer and Rock & Rock Hall of Fame member Grandmaster Flash .

After a March 8 performance of The Doors ' "Break on Through" and a clue package including a saxophone, a clock, a ship and references to Andy Garcia , Lady Gaga , Jay-Z and Andy Samberg , Wolf was unmasked as "When A Man Loves a Woman" singer Michael Bolton .

Squirrel made her first appearance on the March 8 episode, performing a rendition of "Try" by Pink . Her clue package included meatballs, a gorilla, a castle and the knowledge that she once made out with Tom Cruise .

On the March 15 episode, a wedding dress was unveiled as a new clue before a performance of "Just the Two of Us" by Grover Washington Jr. and Bill Withers .

After the first round of voting, Squirrel was unmasked as 27 Dresses and Billions star Malin Akerman .

Jackalope made her debut on the March 15 episode with a performance of "Whenever, Wherever" by Shakira . Her clue package included references to social media, a necklace with the letter "G" and the Ghostface mask from Scream .

After falling to The Fairy in the Battle Royale, Jackalope was unmasked as YouTube star, actress and singer Lele Pons .

Axolotl debuted on the March 22 episode with a performance of LeAnn Rimes ' "Can't Fight the Moonlight. Her clue package included pom poms, a raw steak, a ring bell and an engagement ring with a musical note on it. 

She was revealed to be WWE superstar Alexa Bliss .

The Fairy made her debut on the March 15 episode with a rendition of "You're No Good" by Linda Ronstadt . Her clue package featured a black panther, a basketball, a rubber duck, a police badge and references to "friends" Sean Penn , Rob Lowe and Emilio Estevez .

On the March 22 episode, Fairy sang Bonnie Raitt 's "Angel From Montgomery" and unveiled a new clue: a blackjack hand of 21.

After falling to Macaw in the Battle Royale, Fairy was unmasked as Holly Robinson Peete .

Moose debuted on the March 29 episode with a performance of "The Power of Love" by Huey Lewis and the News . His clue packaged featured a beer glass, hot dogs, a letterman jacket and a stuffed animal bear.

He was unmasked as Cheers star George Wendt .

On the March 29 episode, Scorpio debuted with a performance of "Girls Just Want to Have Fun" by Cyndi Lauper . Scorpio's clue package included sporting equipment, a picture of a beautiful house and a red dress.

She was later unmasked as Selling Sunset star Christine Quinn .

The Doll made his debut on the March 29 episode with a performance of "Don't You (Forget About Me)" by Simple Minds . His clue package included hairspray, a playbill and a dollhouse filled with animals.

On the April 5 episode, The Doll returned with a performance of "Jailhouse Rock" by Elvis Presley . He presented two new clues: a lollipop in the shape of a heart and a guitar case with the words "King Status" written on it. 

The Doll was unmasked as Twisted Sister front man Dee Snider .

Dandelion debuted on the April 5 episode with a performance of "Over the Rainbow" by Judy Garland. Her clue package included a zombie, a piano, a tornado and references to Madonna , Flea and Elton John .

On the April 12 episode, Dandelion sang "Starlight" by Muse and revealed two new clues: a Santa hat with a laughing emoji and the words "space star." She was later unmasked as The Walking Dead and Friday Night Lights actress Alicia Witt .

The Lamp debuted on the April 12 episode with a performance of "Venus" by Bananarama. Her clue package included an energy drink, a yearbook and references to Ryan Reynolds , Mario Lopez and James Van Der Beek .

She was unmasked as Clarissa Explains It All and Sabrina, the Teenage Witch star Melissa Joan Hart .

The five-person California Roll made their debut on the March 1 episode with a performance of Lady Gaga 's "Paparazzi."

Their clue package included sunglasses, a tiger, ice cream cones and references to Snoop Dogg and Dolly Parton .

After defeating Medusa in the Battle Royale, California Roll advanced to the quarterfinals.

Medusa sang Billie Eilish 's "Happier Than Ever" on the Feb. 15 premiere episode after a clue package that included a picture of Buckingham Palace, a reference to the Super Bowl and the fact that Medusa has "been here before."

She defeated Mustang in the Battle Royale set to "Diamonds" by Rihanna .

On the Feb. 22 episode, Medusa sang ABBA's "Dancing Queen" and unveiled a new clue revealing a connection to Coldplay 's Chris Martin . Plus, a bonus clue was brought to the stage after her performance courtesy of Bachelor star Nick Viall : a plane ticket to Tokyo from 1996.

During the March 1 episode, Medusa performed Frank Sinatra 's "New York, New York." Her new clues were a Scottish Terrier and a glittery bridge.

Despite falling to California Roll in the Battle Royale, the judges rang the Ding Dong Keep It On Bell to save Medusa and send her to the quarterfinals.

Debuting on the March 8 episode, Gargoyle performed Charlie Puth 's "One Call Away" with a clue package featuring a jukebox, an "I Love LA" sticker, a video game controller, hot sauce and a credit card. 

Though he was knocked out of the Battle Royale by Squirrel, Gargoyle lived to see a day after the panel rang the Ding Dong Keep It On Bell. 

Macaw debuted on the March 22 episode with a performance of "Live Like You Were Dying" by Tim McGraw . His clue package included quesadillas, a jar of salsa, dolphins and the knowledge that Macaw has a history of panic attacks.

Mantis hit the stage for his debut performance on the April 5 episode with a rendition of "(I've Got a) Golden Ticket" by Jack Albertson and Peter Ostrum from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory . His clue package included a guitar, a skull, poker chips, cowboy boots and the knowledge that Mantis "almost won an Emmy."

UFO debuted on the April 12 episode with a rendition of Coldplay 's "Yellow." Her clue package included a reference to New England, the Golden Gate Bridge, a cemetery, a sewing machine and Queen Victoria .

When Tom Cruise sang on live TV and he was amazing

Tom Cruise is one of the world's greatest film stars, and it turns out he's a fantastic live performer too.

In 2015, the Top Gun: Maverick actor appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon in the States, and shocked the audience with his impressive command of the stage.

OK, he wasn't actually singing, but rather taking part in the Lip Sync Battle segment of the show, miming along with The Weeknd's 'Can't Feel My Face', but he was particularly great at it.

Tom impressed the audience and Jimmy with his performance, which he followed up by lip-syncing to Meat Loaf 's 'Paradise by the Dashboard Light'.

Even The Weeknd himself was amazed, tweeting about the show afterwards:

But it's not like Tom can't sing at all. He's belted out the likes of 'Great Balls of Fire' in Top Gun , 'Free Fallin'' in Jerry Maguire and 'Addicted to Love' in Cocktail .

And of course, in 2012, he starred as stadium rock legend Stacy Jaxx in the musical Rock of Ages , where he convincingly performed various '80s anthems like 'Wanted Dead or Alive' and 'Pour Some Sugar on Me'.

Tom Cruise has just experienced the most successful film of his career, with Top Gun: Maverick grossing over $1.3 billion at the worldwide box office.

The Masked Singer reveals Diver as this reality TV villain in cameo-heavy NFL Night

The season's first wildcard is also introduced — and he's a really big dill.

Warning: This article contains spoilers from Wednesday night's episode of The Masked Singer .

It seems like the only NFL superstar who wasn't on hand in tonight's The Masked Singer was Taylor Swift .

This is because it was NFL Night — the first of many themes we'll see over the course of season 10 — and the episode featured not one, not two, but three different NFL guest star cameos. First up was free agent Le'Veon Bell , who brought his Milkshake back to the Masked Singer yard to perform "I Gotta Feeling" by the Black Eyed Peas and later present a clue. To that end, fellow NFL pros Antonio Gates and DeSean Jackson also appeared later in the episode to give clues, and the trio hung out in the VIP area of the stage to watch the rest of the episode's shenanigans unfold.

Elsewhere in the episode, Group A proved once again that season 10's got some strong competition. Cow kicked things off with "Treasure" by Bruno Mars, Diver sang "I Ain't Worried" by OneRepublic, and Gazelle made Ken Jeong emotional with Katy Perry's "The One That Got Away." In a bit of irony, after Nicole Scherzinger guessed S'more was Adam Levine last week, this week the contestant sang Maroon 5's "Moves Like Jagger" and officially dispelled that notion, despite doing a good rendition of the song.

To make matters interesting, the first of three wildcards this season was introduced, and let's just say he's a really big dill. That's right — Pickle officially joined the competition with his performance of "Pinball Wizard" by The Who. He made things entertaining from the start by saying he knows each and every one of the panelists, "just a little bit different," and that he's bringing that "BDE – big dill energy" to the show. Or, he joked, "Just like Nick, that BPE — big pickle energy."

At the end of all that, it was finally time for the audience to vote, and Diver was ultimately told to surface. Scherzinger and Robin Thicke both guessed Jersey Shore 's Pauly D , and Jeong stuck to his guns and guessed Vanderpump Rules star Tom Sandoval , which Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg piggybacked off of. In a massive first for the show, Jeong was right two weeks in a row as Diver was revealed as Sandoval. The panelist joked this is "Season Ken," and, well, he's not wrong... so far.

The Masked Singer airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Fox.

'The Masked Singer' fans mock Jonathan Ross over Tom Cruise guess

Jonathan Ross was mocked by viewers when he suggested Tom Cruise might be one of the disguised celebrities on The Masked Singer.

The ITV programme sees stars dressed up as various characters singing to a panel of judges, who have to guess who they are.

Before Monster was revealed to be CeeLo Green , judges Ross, Davina McCall, Rita Ora and Ken Jeong started guessing who he might be.

But when Ross speculated that A-lister Cruise could be the man hiding in the fuzzy blue costume, fans thought it was a step too far.

As well as Monster, Saturday night’s semi-final saw Fox unmasked. She turned out to be Denise Van Outen, who many fans had guessed was in the costume.

So far nine celebrities have been unmasked and eliminated from the competition.

The Masked Singer continues on ITV.

SPOILER ALERT: Do not read ahead if you have not watched Season 11, Episode 7 of “ The Masked Singer ,” “Queen Night,” which aired April 17 on Fox.

“The Masked Singer” dropped a bomb on us: Singer/songwriter Charlie Wilson , who has enjoyed a tremendous career as a solo artist in addition to his time as lead vocalist for the Gap Band, was one of two celebrities revealed on Wednesday night’s edition of “The Masked Singer.” Also unmasked: “The Office” star Kate Flannery (who played the frequently inebriated Meredith).

Wilson was unveiled during the show’s Group A finals as Ugly Sweater, while Flannery was Starfish.

And then, for Starfish, Jeong figured out it was Kate Flannery. Ora picked Amy Schumer, McCarthy-Wahlberg thought it was Lisa Kudrow and Thicke went with Kate McKinnon.

Ugly Sweater was first to be revealed, as Wilson. Then, in a battle royale, Starfish and Goldfish of fishy proportions, the two battled it out to win Group A and move on to the semi-finals. The duo sang their own versions of Queen’s “Another One Bites the Dust,” which Goldfish emerging victorious and Starfish emerging as Kate Flannery.

Indeed, it was “Queen Night,” and the contestants opened by singing “We Are the Champions” by the supergroup.

Kate Flannery as Starfish and Charlie Wilson as Ugly Sweater join DeMarcus Ware (Koala), Colton Underwood (Love Bird), Sisqó (Lizard), Billy Bush (Sir Lion), Joe Bastianich (Spaghetti & Meatballs), Savannah Chrisley (Afghan Hound) and Kevin Hart (Book) as the celebrities unmasked on “The Masked Singer” this season.

Back for Season 11 are host Nick Cannon, alongside panelists Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg, Ken Jeong and Robin Thicke, while Rita Ora has joined the desk to fill in for Nicole Scherzinger, who was in London to star on the West End’s “Sunset Boulevard.”

With sixteen total celebrity singers, including three “wildcards,” Season 11 features new costumes including “Gumball,” “Lizard,” “Ugly Sweater,” “Goldfish,” “Starfish,” “Book,” “Gumball,” “Miss Cleocatra,” “Afghan Hound,” “Beets,” “Poodle Moth,” “Clock,” “Spaghetti & Meatballs,” “Lizard,” “Koala” and “Sir Lion.” According to the show, the Season 11 contestants boast a combined 22 Grammy nominations, 11 platinum albums, 33 Teen Choice nominations, 108 million records sold, 326 film appearances and 1.7 billion Spotify streams.

This means Group A winner Goldfish will join Group C’s Poodle Moth and Clock later this season for the quarter finals. (Next up: Group B faces off.)

Here were the Group A finals performances on Wednesday’s Episode 7, “Queen Night”:

But then I remembered, there was no one in the world that enjoyed watching me perform more. So, I reached down inside and found the courage to take that stage. Tom Sandoval Unmasked As the Diver on The Masked Singer

When it was announced that Ariana Madix would be on Dancing With the Stars season 32, people went nuts. Partially because the WGA strike prevented other ABC stars from doing upfronts, but also because Scandoval had been such a big deal. Tom Sandoval also tried to pivot into reality-competition shows, post breakup. He’s still in the competition on Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test season two (which is like Stars on Mars but on Earth). He also was long-suspected of being the Diver on The Masked Singer season ten. Anyone who’s seen the video for “ Touch in Public ” (1) may be entitled to compensation, and (2) would recognize Sandy’s moves in his Diver performances. On October 4, it was confirmed: Sandoval had sunk all the way to the bottom of the ocean. The Masked Singer judge Ken Jeong was starstruck seeing reality TV’s newest, biggest villain IRL. Sandoval was eliminated on the second ep of his Masked Singer season. Madix, on the other hand, is still competing on DWTS episode three.

From Tom Cruise breakdancing to Spice Girls reuniting, reports from Victoria Beckham's bash capture imagination

Tom Cruise breakdancing, a Spice Girls reunion and tons of A-list celebrities gathering in one location have social media and the general public in awe over Victoria Beckham's 50th birthday party.

Beckham, who celebrated half a century over the weekend, posted about the luxurious soiree Sunday on Instagram.

But some of the most buzzworthy moments went intentionally unrecorded.

"I don’t think I’ve ever felt as loved as I did last night," Beckham's post said. "Thank you all for coming from near and so far!! X"

In the post, Beckham shared pictures of her with actor Eva Longoria, celebrity Chef Gordon Ramsay, her husband, soccer star David Beckham and some of the couple's children.

In another Instagram post, Beckham shared a picture of her and the four other members of the English pop group, the Spice Girls.

"The best gift to be reunited!! Thank you to all my friends and family for celebrating with me. Kisses! xxx," Beckham's post about the Spice Girls said.

Guests 'absolutely dumbfounded' by Tom Cruise's dancing, reports say

Not included in either post were other famous attendees who came to celebrate with the Beckhams at Oswald’s, a private member’s club owned by Robin Birley in London's Mayfair district.

Oswald's is strict about taking photos and allowing social media within the venue , according to the club's member's privacy notice.

Actors Tom Cruise and Salma Hayek both made an appearance at Beckham's party and while one left an impression with their outfit, the other left it all on the dance floor, the Daily Mail reported.

Cruise, who turned 61 in July 2023, stunned guests when he began demonstrating "a series of breakdancing moves, culminating in splits," the outlet said.

"People were absolutely dumbfounded," one guest told the Daily Mail.

While no photos or videos of Cruise dancing exist online, social media users continue to poke fun at the expense of the "Mission Impossible" movie star. An X user who goes by @Douggernaut_2 posted a clip of actor Mike Myers dancing in the film "Austin Powers" and said, "Tom Cruise arriving at Victoria Beckham's bday."

Several social media users hearkened back to when Cruise played the Les Grossman character in the 2008 comedy movie "Tropic Thunder." Cruise would hilariously reprise the character during the 2010 MTV Movie Awards and dance to rapper Ludacris' song "Get Back."

"Remember when Tom Cruise did this," X user @charletty_ said Monday in a post reacting to the video of Cruise's full dance routine at the awards show.

During the routine with singer and actress Jennifer Lopez, Cruise does a split on stage. X user @danilo_parks said Monday in a post, "It's real Tom Cruise does the splits mania out there today."

In addition to seeing Cruise do splits and the Spice Girls perform, guests also received goody bags full of Beckham's branded products, including a candle and a fragrance, the Telegraph reported.

All the fun has people wondering where their invite was to Beckham's birthday party, including X user @StaceyVaselaney who said, "I’m sitting here shaking my head wondering why wasn’t I invited to Victoria Beckham’s 50th birthday party."
