Tony Little Destress Micropedic Pillow Review

Tony Little makes a pillow?? And he sells it on HSN?? I know, it’s a very strange world we live in. However, it’s all true AND it’s an awesome pillow! In fact, I don’t foresee myself ever using any other pillow. Strong words, right? I’m not a salesman because most of the time I don’t feel strongly enough about products to back them. But I feel like I might be able to sell this pillow, ha! Pillows are a very personal investment though. So let me tell you a few things about why I adore this one.

All in all, this is an amazing pillow and I can’t recommend it enough. I know…it’s pricey. But so is the chiropractor and so is missing work from headaches and neck pain. So I invested in a nice bed and a nice pillow and nice sheets…and now it’s incredibly hard to get out of bed in the morning because I’m so comfortable. Not a bad problem to have! great I did the same thing my pillow fell apart as well, they are going to replace my pillow too. thanks for your details, it helps a lot to know that I am Not alone in this. Yes it makes it very hard to not get out of bed, I wished they made a bed like this, I purchased 12 pillows and made mine as a bed.. I loved my pillows, so soft now and I can relax without a stiff neck or back. thanks to you we have knowledge not to wash it just put a soft damp rag over it and air dry it, I put mine in delicate cycle in the dryer.

Thanks for your comment! I’m glad I could help assist you with your pillow. I was successful at washing it in my machine on hand wash cycle, in the pillowcase. The pillow air dried very nicely and feels as good as new. They are wonderful pillows!

How long did take to dry?

I left it to air dry over night.

Thanks for the info you two…really appreciate it! Now what I need is a mattress cover and a wrap around supportive hugging pillow that I can also put between my knees as I am a side sleeper after I’ve had back surgery and screws and plates put into my neck. Cheers

I have ordered this pillow in pares 2 times..Now I am looking for a 3rd purchase and that’s because they are sold out everywhere. . Why do I want more? Because every member of my family keeps stealing mine. I could not… can not sleep without it. It makes me furious when I go to bed and find someone in the family has again stolen my pillow. Don’t wash them and they will last forever…unless your family steals them from you. love this pilloe and can’t say enough good things about it.

I’ve had mine for years. Wouldn’t use any other kind. I just put it I the air cycle with a damp washcloth stayed with Lysol. Your loss.

That’s a good idea, too! I wonder how spraying vodka would work? Vodka is a natural disinfectant with no odor.

I washed mine on the gentle/delicates cycle and put the zippered pillow case on top of it. Worked fine.

Has anyone noticed little bursts of light inside the pillow? Static maybe?

Yes I have this happen as well! Static for sure as it usually only happens to me in the winter time.

So my pillow when squishing with my hand in the middle of night it lite up like those green glow sticks I thought I was loosing my mind , then showed my husband and he said yes user. What is that all about???

Juniper you mentioned the millions of beads in your pillow went everywhere and were impossible to contain… what happens when pillows get saggy and then get thrown away—-all of those beads get into landfill, water, eventually into fish, small animals etc. We should be asking these manufacturers to be more environmentally responsible and to make a better pillow for us so that we will not have to deal with incredibly scary outcomes as these pillows sell in the thousands which means millions & millions of airbeads out in our environment eventually.

I would like to additional pillow cases. How do I get about it

I would like to purchase additional pillow cases.

I purchased 2 king size in 2016 from HSN. Although they really weren’t what I thought, they were helpful with my hip but not really my back. In 2017, one started leaking and the other in 2018. Because there’s a 5 year warranty on them, Hsn requested I contact them. They rep. requested I send the labels off both pillows but,I explained that I no longer have the labels off of one of them. So, they are requiring I mail the leaky pillow back but they are refusing to pay , stating their warranty doesn’t cover returns. Wow! Now I have to pay for a pillow of no use to me to get a replacement pillow that’s suppose to be under a 5 year warranty and it’s no telling of what the charges will be to send it back! Not satisfied with that!

You should try contacting the company directly who makes them. I’m pretty sure that’s who we called, it wasn’t HSN.

Great in the beginning.

I swore by these for years. Even bought them for my children. Now the sewing that separates the neck part from the three chambered head part has come apart. I am stuck with three of them that are the same.

No need for any other pillow!

I love this pillow. I borrowed my moms for about a month and was hooked. Then she bought my husband and I ones for Christmas and we love them! They are so comfortable no matter what position you sleep in or how long you sleep on it. I am currently a side sleeper due to pregnancy and it has great support for my neck. I wake up a night and notice that the pillow still has not lost its form to fit my head. While most pillows will give through out the night and eventually your head seems to be laying on the bed, this pillow stays put all through the nite. My husband is a back sleeper and loves that no matter what he has neck support. I have noticed that there is different sections in the pillows, I am not sure if that has use or not but it is comfortable not matter what position you put your head on it. We have slept better and have noticed a decrease in neck AND back pain since having slept with this pillows. It is amazing how much a pillow can do for your sleep.

Allergy Alleviator Jumbo Pillow

The allergy Alleviator Jumbo Pillow has relieved my night time allergy's and is providing me with a much relaxed clear breathing sleep. The fibers prevent the growth of allergens and maintain a healthy freshness. It is recommended that you do not wash the whole pillow and I prefer everything in my home to be washable, however I have been just wiping the pillow every so often and it still feels really clean without actually putting it in the washer. It is a nice Jumbo size and therefore supports my head very well which is also helpful with breathing as well as acid reflux. I have been able to sleep much better and you will too. I only bought one to try it out but since I have replaced all other pillows with this wonderful and affordable pillow.

This canvas is absolutely gorgeous!! I could only give 4 stars for the way the canvas was delivered. The canvas itself was loose and billowing. It also had imprints of the wood frame along the top and bottom. I followed instructions to tap plastic wedges in each corner to tighten canvas. This mostly worked but then frame was not completely square. I then used an ice Cube, as directed, to run along fold marks on back of canvas. This worked along top fold but not the bottom fold. Also was NOT ready to hang. You will have to either install hooks or a wire to hang. Overall, a lot of work to try and get canvas to point it should have arrived in. Wayfair, as usual, are great in sending replacement. I don’t know if replacement t will be any better but I’m going to try it as Fierce Grace is stunning. Update September 3, 2020 I received my replacement from Wayfair and this canvas was stretched tightly on frame. No marks other than small “dent” in canvas which smoothed out completely using ice cube method as instructed. SO happy with this!!! Have been waiting a long time for this print. Changed to 5 Star!. The TRTL travel pillow has officially become my must-pack travel accessory, particularly when journeying long distances. Before boarding a flight or train ride, I make sure it’s in my bag . Because it’s not a typical travel pillow, it doesn’t pose the usual travel pillow woes: no creaky neck, no mid-flight deflation, no taking up room in your suitcase. (Suitcase storage space is sacred — particularly if, like me, you’re a souvenir zealot.)

Although its price tag may raise some eyebrows, if you’re taking redeye flights and need to wake up refreshed in your destination — you know the price you’d pay for a good night’s sleep. 

What is the TRTL Travel Pillow?

The pillow is lightweight, easy to pack, and (best of all) makes it possible to get good rest when you’re far away from your creature comforts. This is probably because it doesn’t look at all like a travel pillow. (If you’ve ever walked past someone on a flight and it seemed their scarf was somehow keeping their head held up, you walked past someone with a TRTL.) It’s a deceptively simple design: one piece of plastic that acts as a cradle for your head, wrapped in what looks like a super soft fleece scarf with foam padding. 

In order to don the TRTL, you place the bit with the padded cradle on your preferred side, then wrap the rest of the scarf-like fabric around your neck and secure the velcro to hold everything in place. (The fleece is, by the way, extremely cozy.) 

Why I like this product

The pillow is designed to provide “cushioned but firm support, holding your head in a neutral position,” according to its makers. It creates this neutral position for my neck that has made such a difference in allowing me to sleep on the road. 

It's adjustable and machine washable

As someone who works on the computer and is a side sleeper, I have made peace with the fact that I’ll live life with some constant, low-simmer shoulder tension. Sleeping with typical travel pillows used to make this worse. If I was able to fall asleep (which was rare), I’d wake about an hour later with a creak in my neck. But because the TRTL is adjustable, it perfectly cradles my head and I feel supported, like my pillow does in my bed. And my shoulders are deeply grateful.

Also, although you can throw your TRTL back in your suitcase at the end of a flight, I prefer to tuck it in my purse or tote — where it takes up seriously little room. It’s lightweight enough that I can genuinely, honestly forget that I’m carrying it. 

And because accidents do happen (especially when on the road), the pillow is machine washable . All you need to do is slide out the cradle from the scarf, then throw the scarf into your washing machine. It’s easy to take apart and reassemble, as there are only two parts.

What to consider

But, as with any holy grail product, there are a few things you should take note of before you rush to add this to your cart. 

I would highly recommend familiarizing yourself with the TRTL before you travel. The plastic framework is adjustable, meaning it will fit all neck sizes — but you’ll want to find your perfect settings at home . It takes a bit of elbow room to finagle the plastic and your in-flight neighbor likely won’t appreciate a jab across the armrest. 

There are other adjustments you can make while on the road. I’ve heard that if you’ve got a longer neck, you’ll want to position the cradle tight before you wrap the scarf around to close it. If you prefer your head to be straight when sleeping, you’ll want the cradle closer to your chest than your shoulder. This might take some time for you to figure out, though.

Also, the TRTL doesn’t solve the other woes of sleeping in transit. If you’re anything like me, you’ll still need to pack earplugs or noise-cancelling earbuds. But if you’re a side sleeper who travels light and needs eight hours every night, the TRTL may just revolutionize the way you travel. Blessings abound!

This is a great pillow. Would love to have a mini version to travel with and to put behind my neck on the plane, in the car and at the dentists office. Please consider making a mini pillow.

I sleep so wonderful with this pillow. I hope Tony never stops making them . I'm very sad about extra pillow cases. Evidently HSN can't keep them in stock in King size? I need pillow cases so bad. I've been browsing Amazon for comparable ones. But it's hard to get stretchy pillow cases. PLEASE TRY TO GET SOME KING SIZE PILLOW CASES IN STOCK!!
