He first debuted with BTS in 2013 but overtime, he has evolved from being a rapper to being known as a talented producer & songwriter. His bold alter ego, Agust D, was also the name of his 2016 debut mixtape where he was able to showcase his hardcore rap and underground influences. In 2020, his D-2 mixtape was released and Daechwita quickly became a fan favorite. At the end of 2022, the music video hit 400M views and Suga became the second Korean male soloist in YouTube history to achieve this milestone.

Live Review: Suga of BTS Takes Over the Kia Forum for 3 Unforgettable Sold-Out Nights in Los Angeles!

Suga of BTS (AKA Agust D) shows off all of his personas with an idiosyncratic stage performance that leaves the arena in awe.

Stream: ‘d-day’ – agust d, a s a multi-instrumentalist, producer, composer, lyricist, songwriter and the lead rapper of the biggest boyband in the world, there was no question that suga would put on an incredible performance..

The Suga | Agust D D-Day Tour broke an immense amount of records in ticket sales and was highly anticipated. As his first ever solo tour, he was able to showcase his individual artistry.

Since he has been performing with BTS for a decade, fans may have thought they knew who he was as a performer. But the rapper would show unseen sides of himself during his solo stage. He introduced himself after the third song, titled “Agust D,” named after his alter ego.

“Hello, I am Suga or Agust D or Yoongi.” The night showcased the juxtaposition between BTS’ Suga, his solo counterpart Agust D, and his core self with his birth name Min Yoongi – changing between three outfits and following the storyline of his inner battle with every part of himself then in the end becoming his truest form. During his time changing clothes, videos of him battling other parts of himself played across the giant screen. The VCRs showed him killing his alter ego and burning down a doll house with a version of him inside, as an analogy of freeing himself from the pressures of fame brought on by being part of BTS.

In the end, despite the fear of his own flaws, he rose as his real self and no longer needed the shield of Suga or Agust D to exist as a human being.

Each night started with the noises of a soft thunderstorm before the lights dimmed and he entered with an high energy performance of his latest title track “ Haegum ,” from his critically acclaimed album D-Day . The show featured electrifying rap tracks with background dancers and pyrotechnics as well as slowed down songs showing his vocal and instrumental ability on the acoustic guitar with his solo song from BTS’ love yourself- era “Seesaw” then on the piano with his rendition of BTS’ song “Life Goes On” and “Snooze,” whose piano arrangement on his album is played by the late Ryiuchi Sakamoto.

As the show progressed, pieces of the stage ascended to the ceiling until all there was left was a small platform making the multi-platinum artist eye level with his adoring audience. He also allowed himself to act his own age with a cup of Hennessy in hand and shouting curse words out of excitement. One of the nights he mentioned that the first time he was in LA almost ten years ago, BTS performed a free show to 300 people, and now he is doing three solo sold out nights at the Kia Forum Arena.

The energy of the crowd was unmatched for all three nights. The audience echoed in screams between every song and rapped along his lyrics seamlessly in English and Korean. The crowd erupted the second night when MAX came out as a special guest on stage to perform “Burn It.”

And on his last night in Los Angeles, Suga added his featured track from Halsey’s album Manic called “Suga’s Interlude” as a surprise. Halsey joined him onstage for their first ever live performance of the song.

Each night ended with kind words of gratitude and a full smile as Suga had the crowd cheer for his live band and dancers.

He then walked center stage where twelve cameras were positioned all around him and broadcasted him from every angle on the big screen. His last song, perfectly titled “The Last,” starts with the lyrics [translated to] “ on the other side of the famous idol rapper .” The heavy rap song tells the story of his struggle as his fame progressed from mental health to physical illness and his inability to fight his sorrows despite his success. The multiple angles of him on the screen is doused with a fake fire as an allegory of burning that part of himself. As the song concluded he walked swiftly off stage, leaving the crowd to take in and process the intricate story he just told for the past two hours.

All three nights proved that Yoongi is an incredible performer and artist, whether he is alone on stage or accompanied by his six best friends. The lights and stage production of the show is incomparable to any other current running tour. The uniqueness of his performance and his breathtaking stage presence makes the Suga | Agust D D-Day Tour one of the best tours to hit the United States in 2023 so far.

The tour will continue in Southeast Asia, Japan and Korea throughout the summer.

BTS ‘ Suga has unveiled a string of tour dates for his first solo trek outside of the K-pop supergroup. The tour has no official title just yet but has been tagged under Suga’s own name, as well as his other stage persona, Agust D.

With the U.S. leg set to launch this spring, the tour will kick off with a pair of shows at the UBS Arena in Belmont Park, New York on April 26 and 27. Suga will then follow up with several performances in New Jersey, Illinois and California, with the U.S. run will closing in Oakland on May 16 and 17. Then the tour will hit Asia in Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, South Korea and Japan (with those dates to be announced soon).

What a time to be a BTS fan! ARMYs are just now coming down from the excitement of J-Hope and RM's solo-album releases and Jungkook's FIFA World Cup song, " Dreamers ." Now, they have many more BTS solo projects to look forward to. Not only is Jimin gearing up to release his debut solo album in March, but another member has announced some major news: Suga is going on a world tour.

On Valentine's Day, Suga went live on Weverse to preempt the official announcement of his upcoming Agust D tour, saying simply, "I can't say much, but yes . . . let's see each other at the concert. It's late now so I'll be going. Let's see each other soon," according to a translation by @Bora_twts . Suga hadn't even ended his live stream before Big Hit posted Suga's official tour, which will be called the Agust D tour, along with a list of dates and cities, on its official account.

Registration for ARMY Member Presale (and General Verified Fan Presale) will be available from Feb. 14 to Feb. 23 at 10 p.m. ET.

To become verified and eligible for the ARMY Member Presale, you must purchase an ARMY membership through HYBE's Weverse Shop (it costs $22 for a one-year subscription), register for the ARMY Member Presale on Weverse, and then register for the Army Member Presale on Ticketmaster . ARMY Member Presale invitations will be sent on the evening of Feb. 28.

If there are any tickets left after the ARMY Member Presale, they will all be available for purchase in the General Verified Fan Presale (for which invitations will be sent out on the evening of March 1). Any remaining tickets will be available in a general sale.

When Do Suga's Agust D Tour Tickets Go on Sale?

Having grown as both a producer and rapper for BTS since the group’s debut in 2013, the global superstar will kick off the U.S. run of their “Suga/Agust D” solo tour with two shows at the UBS Arena in Belmont Park, New York — outside New York City — on April 26 and 27.

Suga will then play one show in Newark, New Jersey, three in Rosemont, Illinois (just outside of Chicago), and three in Los Angeles. The U.S. leg wraps with two gigs in Oakland on May 16 and 17. After touring the U.S., Suga will head to Indonesia, Thailand, and Singapore, before returning to Seoul, South Korea, for two shows on June 24 and 25. Hundreds of fans of BTS' Suga camp outside Kia Forum in Inglewood ahead of concert

Suga is the first member to tour solo since BTS announced they would be taking a break while members served in the military.

INGLEWOOD, Calif. (KABC) -- Tents lined the sidewalk around the Kia Forum in Inglewood on Tuesday as hundreds of fans awaited the start of BTS member Suga's solo performances. Suga, also known by his alter ego Agust D, is the first member to tour solo since the K-pop group announced they would be taking a break while members served in their military.

The first night of the show isn't until Wednesday, but some of fans camped outside the venue since Monday night.

"I just love all his songs. I really encourage people to look at the lyrics. It'll impress you and I know it speaks to my sister especially," said Mandy Torres, a fan who drove from Riverside. "I'm out here camping for her. She's going to be the one in front me."

Most of the people lined up on the concrete already got their General Admission tickets to one of the three shows. They lined up in hopes of securing as close a spot as possible to the stage.

"It's wanting to get barricade," said Jennifer Yanez, a fan from El Monte. "So, like I want to be in front. I want to make eye contact. I want to see him!"

Some fans said camping isn't completely about the tickets or even about securing the rare merchandise. They said they camp for the camaraderie and the experience. They even make little freebie bags with things like fan art and candies to pass out to other fellow BTS Army members.

"We go out and eat," said Lucy Amezcua, another camper from Redlands. "We all get together at night and share stories because this is something that we all have in common."

Suga's three nights at the Kia Forum begins Wednesday followed by a show on Thursday and finishing up with a final show on Sunday.

Trek marks first-ever solo tour for a BTS member

Suga of 21st century pop icons BTS announces his return to the US with his first-ever solo nationwide tour called Agust D Tour. Produced by Hybe, BigHit Music and Live Nation, the tour begins with two nights in Belmont Park, NY at UBS Arena on April 26-27th and continues across the US with stops in Newark, Rosemont, and Los Angeles before wrapping up in Oakland, CA with two nights at Oakland Arena on May 16-17th.

Tickets can be purchased through the Ticketmaster Verified Fan platform. Fans can register for the two unique Verified Fan presales through Thursday, February 23rd at 10 pm ET/7 pm PT. Only fans that have received a unique code will have the chance to purchase tickets for performances on a first come, first served basis.

BTS Army membership holders will have the first chance to participate in the Army Member Presale Powered by Ticketmaster Verified Fan beginning Wednesday, March 1st at 3 pm local time through 10 pm local time. All tickets will be available during this presale. If tickets sell out during the Army Member Presale, there will not be a General Verified Fan presale or public onsale.

The General Verified Fan presale for non-fan club members will begin Thursday, March 2nd at 3 pm local time through 10 pm local time pending ticket availability.

If there are any tickets remaining after the Army Member presale or general verified fan presale, tickets will be on sale for the general public starting Friday, March 3rd at 3 pm local time via Ticketmaster.

Blink-182 Announce Final North American Leg of 2024 Tour

B link-182 are finally kicking off the very last American leg of their massive 2024 tour! The fresh announcement comes just weeks after the band wrapped their Australia and New Zealand leg of the One More Time Tour. 

The band will travel throughout the US and Canada this summer with original Blink-182 co-founder Tom DeLonge and a laundry list of supporting acts, including Pierce The Veil, Hot Milk, jxdn, Live Without, Drain, Landon Barker, Astronoid, and EKKSTACY for select dates.

The band has noted that the final leg of the tour will involve a “whole new show” with brand-new never-before-seen production elements.

The first stop on the final North American leg of the Blink-182 2024 Tour will be on June 20 in Orlando, Florida at Kia Center. The tour will end on August 15 in Toronto, Ontario at Rogers Centre.

It doesn’t look like there are any presale events for this leg of the tour and tickets are available for general sale over at Ticketmaster . The waiting room is quite packed today, so if your chosen tour date sells out before you can get your seats, check Stubhub . Stubhub usually has tickets to sold-out concerts in stock, and the FanProtect Program will ensure that your tickets are real and scam-free.
