The Mamanuca & Yasawa Islands offer some of the most dramatic scenery in the South Pacific. With at least one new island and coral reef to visit daily, these cruises have a greater emphasis on beach and water activities.  The 3-night cruise cruises the southern islands including the Sacred Islands. The 4-Night explores the northern islands from Naviti to Yasawa including the famous Sawa-i-lau limestone lagoon & Caves.  Combine both for a total 7-Night Yasawa Islands experience.

On the first Tuesday of each month cruise for 7 nights to Vanua Levu, in the North of Fiji, rather than the Yasawas, for the choice of two amazing itineraries to places without postcards. On the return 14 night journey starting in Tonga you will also follow the path taken by Bligh in his open boat on all the way up to the Yasawas.

NOT SURE WHAT TO BOOK OR NEED HELP WITH SPECIFIC QUESTIONS?

We are full steam ahead with cruises and can't wait to welcome you aboard. As of the 14 th  Feb 2023, entry requirements into Fiji have been removed. No longer do you need to show your vaccination status or have a prebooked PCR test.  For the protection of the remote communities of the outer islands, Captain Cook Cruises requires passengers boarding our 7-night Remote North Cruise and 7 or11 night Lau cruises to have a mandatory preboarding RAT test. The pre-voyage screenings are for the protection of all the remote communities on the remote islands that we visit.  Many of these isolated communities have little or no access to medical facilities or supplies, so to protect them, Captain Cook Cruises requires all passengers to complete a COVID Rapid Antigen Test (RAT test) within 24 hours of boarding the ship.  You can achieve this in various ways: 1)  From 10am on the day we can direct you to our medical partners in Port Denarau for them to conduct a test for you at a cost of $35 .2) Provide a letter from any professional medical provider with their name and stamp certifying that you have produced a negative test within the allowed time period 3) Complete your own RAT test before coming to the counter or when you arrive on departure day. Photograph it with your phone and show it to check in staff on arrival – Please note that the photograph will need to have a time stamp on it to show the test was taken within the defined period.   Please be aware that in line with our policy of protecting the remote communities of the outer islands our staff are required to deny boarding to any passengers who refuse to comply with this process. Should boarding be denied, a credit note may be issued for future cruises, but no refunds will be allowed. We thank you for your understanding and we look forward to having you on board.

CRUISE ITINERARY

Day 1 - saturday.

NUKU-I-MANA Welcome Aboard!  Set sail over lunch through the beautiful Mamanuca islands past many famous resorts collecting some additional passengers, before arriving for a snorkel from a sand cay and discover the vista of a South Pacific sunset.  Tonight book your preferred time early for our a-la-carte Dinner.

Day 2 - Sunday

MONURIKI – MONU BAY Reef Endeavour cruises to idyllic Monoriki where Tom Hanks’ Castaway was filmed. Explore this natural film set on a guided kayak tour and explore idyllic Monu Island for snorkelling before a special village choral service.  The beautiful harmonies of the village choir will simply delight you.  This evening join the entertainment of our Sunday Show.

Day 3 - Monday

SACRED ISLANDS - WAYA ISLANDS The Sacred Island is a place beautiful beyond belief.  Legends tell of the great war canoe `Rogoboka' which landed here with the first Fijians.  On arrival the ship's crew pay tribute to the forefathers of Fijian culture and perform the Sevusevu (gift giving) ceremony.  Spend a magical morning swimming in the aquamarine lagoons, snorkelling in spectacular coral gardens, beach combing or coral viewing from the glass bottom boat. Over lunch cruise to the Southern Yasawa islands.  Enclosed by towering volcanic peaks and palm fringed beaches, Waya Island is a tropical paradise.  Visit a local school this afternoon and a village and shell market. The fit will also have a chance to climb to the peak of Waya for amazing views.  Don your favourite island attire for Pacific Island night tonight!

Day 4 - Tuesday

WAYA ISLANDS - DENARAU MARINA After Breakfast, Reef Endeavour sets sail and returns to Denarau Marina at 07:30am for a 9:00am disembarkation.
