It’s often unusually difficult to track down phone numbers for specific airline departments. Sifting through page after page of web information and attempting to find the right contact can be frustrating, not to mention a waste of time.
That’s why Upgraded Points has done the tedious research for you.
We’ve listed the most useful U.S.-based numbers (at least those that the airlines publicize) for many of the major airlines below. Additionally, we’ve added some general resources at the end of the post, so be sure to check them out.

General Tips for Travelers with Disabilities
The Department of Transportation (DOT) has a toll-free hotline for travelers with disabilities: 1-800-778-4838/1-800-455-9880 (TTY/TDD).
Available 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (EST), Monday through Friday, the hotline aims to:
- Provide general information to consumers about the rights of air travelers with disabilities
- Respond to requests for printed consumer information
- Provide”real-time” assistance for air travelers with time-sensitive disability-related issues
General Baggage Tips
For issues with delayed/lost baggage , it is imperative to speak with a baggage claim assistant prior to leaving your arrival airport. This will ensure a PIR is made (Property Irregularity Report). Without this report, most airlines cannot begin looking for your bag, nor can they be held responsible for the bags in question.
General Lost and Found Tips
If you’ve left something at a TSA Security Checkpoint, try the TSA Hotline phone number: 1-866-289-9673.
AirportLostAndFound.com is a global lost and found cloud database. Their public database claims to feature lost property listings from over 10,000 major airports and airlines around the globe. It’s worth checking out if you’re having difficulties recovering an item through your specific airline.
Each airline has a number of different ways you can get in touch — from phone numbers for Reservations to social media channels to Lost and Found. Having these numbers and methods of contact handy will make contacting these airlines a much easier experience, especially when you need help fast.
Frequently Asked Questions
How should you contact airline customer support if you're hearing or speech impaired.
If you’re hearing or speech impaired, many airlines may have a dedicated line, or extension that you can dial to receive the assistance you need. Additionally, you could dial 711 for TTY or contact the airline via email depending on how pressing your question is.
How do I speak to a person at American Airlines?
You can speak to American Airlines reservations by dialing 1-800-433-7300.
How do I speak to a Delta representative?
Delta’s reservation department can be contacted at 1-800-221-1212.
Who can I call to book a flight?
Most airlines themselves have reservation departments, and this is usually the best place to start if you need to purchase an airline ticket.

Travel suggestions from Moscow - Vnukovo Airport (VKO)
Explore russia’s capital city.
Moscow is a vibrant mix of old and new: Mother Russia meets Modern Russia. Visitors can enjoy cultural artefacts like the treasures found in the Armoury or the varied delights of the Kremlin Museums. High-brow, low-brow, any-brow will be raised in amazement at one of the performances at the world-renowned Bolshoi Theatre. The six-tier auditorium is the perfect place to take in an evening of dance and music. To really get in touch with the modern Russia, there is a thriving nightlife that has something for everyone. On a warm summer day a trip to the city’s green lung, Gorky Park, is truly essential.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long will my driver wait for me to clear customs? Your driver will wait for you for 60 minutes after you land. If you are held up for whatever reason, your driver won’t just leave you behind. They will contact immigration, customs and the airline to find out where you could possibly be. Your driver will only leave if, after these attempts, there is no sign of your whereabouts. If your arrival is delayed, please contact your supplier on the numbers provided on your voucher. This way we can inform your driver to ensure they are there to pick you up when you finally arrive.

- Guide to Russia
What can you do at Moscow City?
- Dine in style: Moscow City is home to 100+ cafes and restaurants, including Europe’s highest restaurant and ice-cream shop
- See Moscow like never before: Ascend to one of Moscow City’s observation decks for an unparalleled panorama of Moscow

Moscow City is a multifunctional complex in the west of Moscow, which has come to represent the booming business of Russia’s capital. Its skyscrapers enrich Moscow’s skyline, contrasting the medieval cupolas and Stalinist high-rises. Visitors to Moscow City can enjoy entertainment high in the sky, as the complex is home not just to offices, but to restaurants, cinemas, viewing platforms, and museums.

History of Moscow City
Moscow City was first conceived in 1991 by honoured Soviet architect Boris Tkhor, who proposed to construct a business center in Moscow. It would be complete with gleaming skyscrapers rivalling those of New York and London, to reflect the new life and growing ambitions of post-Soviet Russia.
The chosen site was a stone quarry and disused industrial zone in western Moscow, in between the Third Ring Road and Moskva River. Initially, the territory was divided into 20 sections arranged in a horseshoe shape around a central zone. The skyscrapers would increase in height as they spiralled around the central section, with shorter structures built on the waterfront to give the taller buildings behind a view of the river.
Architect Gennady Sirota, who contributed to iconic projects such as the Olympic Sports Complex on Prospekt Mira, was selected as the chief architect, and many other world-famous architects were attracted to Moscow to realise their visions in Moscow City.
What can you see and do at Moscow City?
Where Moscow’s cityscape was once dominated by Stalin’s Seven Sisters skyscrapers , this is no more. Moscow City is home to eight of Russia’s ten tallest buildings, six of which exceed 300 metres in height. More buildings are still under construction there today, including the One Tower (which will be Europe’s second-tallest building). Once completed, Moscow City will comprise more than 20 innovative structures.
Each of Moscow City’s skyscrapers was designed by its own architect, lending the cluster of skyscrapers a unique appearance. Aside from being a site of architectural wonder, Moscow City is a place for leisure and entertainment with over 100 cafes and restaurants, exhibition spaces, cinemas, viewing platforms, and more.

Federation Tower
- East Tower: 374m, 97 floors; West Tower: 243m, 63 floors
- Completed in 2017
- Architects: Sergey Tchoban and Peter Schweger
The East Federation Tower is the tallest building in Moscow, and the second-tallest building in Europe after the Lakhta Centre in St Petersburg. Visitors can enjoy a luxurious meal of seafood, truffles or steak at restaurant ‘Sixty’ on the 62nd floor of the West Tower, or visit Europe’s highest observation deck, ‘Panorama 360’, on the 89th floor of the East Tower.
Did you know? The ice cream and chocolate shop on the 360 observation deck are the highest in the world!
- South Tower: 354m, 85 floors; North Tower: 254m, 49 floors
- Completed in 2015
- Architect: Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP
The South OKO Tower is the third-tallest building in Russia and Europe. Here, you can visit ‘Ruski’ to dine on hearty Russian cuisine cooked on a real Russian stove, and have a drink in the ice bar. Alternatively, visit restaurant, nightclub and performance space ‘Birds’; the restaurant is the highest in Europe, situated on the 86th floor roof terrace alongside an observation deck. The OKO Towers are also home to karaoke club ‘City Voice’.
Did you know? Underneath OKO Towers is the largest underground parking in Europe, with 16 levels and 3,400 parking spaces.
Mercury Tower
- 339m tall, 75 floors
- Architects : Mikhail Posokhin, Frank Williams, Gennady Sirota
Another multifunctional skyscraper, which was designed as the first truly ‘green’ building in Moscow. The Mercury Tower has a distinct geometric shape and copper-coloured glazing, and was the tallest building in Europe upon completion. Visit ‘More i myaso’ (Sea and meat) on the first floor of the tower to enjoy European and Mediterranean cuisine whilst surrounded by greenery. On the 2nd and 40th floors a modern art gallery, the ‘ILONA-K artspace’, has just opened.
City of Capitals
- Moscow Tower: 302m, 76 floors; St Petersburg Tower: 257m, 65 floors
- Completed in 2009
- Architect: Bureau NBBJ
The unique geometric design of the City of Capitals towers resembles stacks of rotating blocks, and is rooted in Constructivism of the early Soviet period (many Soviet Constructivist buildings can be found in Moscow). Visitors to the Moscow Tower can enjoy a range of cuisines – traditional Italian dishes on the summer terrace of ‘Tutto Bene’, Panasian cuisine in the tropical luxury of the ‘Bamboo Bar’ on the 1st floor’, and poke or smoothie bowls at ‘Soul in the Bowl’ cafe on the 80th floor.
Tower on the Embankment
- Tower A: 84m; Tower B:127m; Tower C: 268m, 61 floors
- Completed in 2007
- Architects: Vehbi Inan and Olcay Erturk
After completion, the Tower on the Embankment was the tallest building in Europe, and is now the 13th tallest. It houses the headquarters of several large Russian and international companies, including IBM and KPMG. There are two cafes located on the 1st floor of Tower C – self-service café ‘Obed Bufet’ (Lunch Buffet) and Bakery Chain ‘Khleb Nasushchny’ (Daily Bread).
Evolution Tower
- 255m tall, 54 floors
- Architects: Philip Nikandrov and RMJM Scotland Ltd
Evolution is Moscow City’s most recognisable tower, and the 11th tallest building in Russia. Its façade is a true architectural marvel, comprising continuous strips of curved glazing spiralling high into the sky. According to the architect, Philip Nikandrov, the spiral shape of the tower honours centuries of architectural design in Russia, from the onion domes of St Basil's Cathedral to Vladimir Shukhov’s Tatlin Tower, a masterpiece of Constructivist design. Outside the Evolution tower is a landscaped terrace and pedestrian zone descending to the Presnenskaya Embankment, which was also designed by Nikandrov.
Did you know? Moscow’s largest wedding palace was supposed to be built on the site of the Evolution tower, though the project was abandoned.
- 239m tall, 60 floors
- Completed in 2011
Imperia’s interesting design has a curved roof and an arched glass façade. Inside the tower are various cafes including ‘City Friends’ for all-day breakfasts and light lunches, ‘Mama in the City’ for simple meals of Russian cuisine, and ‘abc kitchen’ for European and Indian-inspired dishes. Alternatively, visit ‘High Bar’ on the 56th floor for cocktails with a view. In Imperia you’ll also find the Museum of High-Rise Construction in Moscow (suitably located on the 56th floor), and the Camera Immersive Theatre.
Did you know? Inside Vystavochnaya metro station is the Metro Museum , dedicated to the history of the beautiful Moscow Metro!
- 130m tall, 26 floors
- Completed in 2001
- Architect: Boris Tkhor
Tower 2000 was Moscow City’s first tower. It stands on the opposite bank of the Moskva River, and houses a viewing platform from which visitors can admire an unparalleled panorama of Moscow City. The Bagration Bridge reaches across the river from the tower to Moscow City, and underneath are piers from where you can take boat trips.

Afimall is Moscow’s largest entertainment and shopping complex, home to 450 shops, cafes and restaurants, a cinema, and a virtual-reality game park. The shopping centre is located in the central section of Moscow City, and a cinema and concert hall are currently under construction there.
What’s nearby?
Sechenov Botanical Gardens: The botanical gardens of the First Moscow State Medical University was created for students’ training and research in 1946. Today it is open for free visits, and is home to a large arboretum.
Park Krasnaya Presnya: This park belonged to the Studenets estate of the Gagarin princes. It is a monument of 18th and 19th century landscaping, with Dutch ponds, ornate bridges, and tree-lined alleys. There are also sports facilities, sports equipment rental, and cafes.

Prior to Universal API 22.2.2, the CPTR SSR was shown as OTHS for Indigo (6E), and a warning message displayed when using, "common_v47_0:ResponseMessage Code="0" Type="Warning" ProviderCode="1G">SSR OTHS is not supported for the requested provider. A vendor remark has been added instead.</common_v47_0:ResponseMessage>
Universal API 22.2.2 and greater allows ACH bookings to include the CPTR (Corporate Traveler) SSR so customers can get special services, e.g., free baggage allowance, free meal, free seat selection, etc., on Indigo (6E). Release 22.2 For example:
<common_v47_0:SSR Key="pS4+DA==" SegmentRef="XLfA=" Status="HK" Type=" CPTR " Carrier=" 6E " ProviderReservationInfoRef="pS4+DA==" ElStat="A"/>
IndiGo and GST SSR Processing
When processing GST (Goods and Services Tax) for the Indian government:
IndiGo (6E) only requires the Company Name, Tax ID and Email. SSR GSTN contains the Company Name and Tax ID. GSTE contains the Email address. All three fields have to be specified when GST details are mapped to ACH, otherwise ACH will return a warning at price and an error at book.
6E only supports one GST Tax ID. If more than one Tax ID is sent (with Company Name and Email address), ACH will validate the first one and ignore the rest.
Send GST SSRs in both AirCreateReservationReq and AirPriceReq , if you are sending in either of them. Otherwise, if you send in one request without sending in the other, it causes an amount mismatch.
It must be composed of 15 alpha-numeric characters
Positions 1-2 must be numeric
Positions 3-7 must be alpha
Positions 8-11 must be numeric
Positions 12 must be alpha
Positions 13-15 must be alpha-numeric
6E does not support adding or modifying GST details post-book. ACH ignores the GST details sent post-book for 6E.
Segment Association for Taxes
Segment association for total fare.
Air v49.0 release provides segment association for Total Taxes in a shop response for carrier 6E (IndiGo), so flight options return with the display of Total Fare (Base + Total Tax) for both onward and return flights. This enhancement also adds Segment reference for the taxes returned for Round Trip and Multiple Journeys. For example: Release 19.2
<air:TaxInfo Category="IN" Amount="INR1082.00" SegmentRef="fc8KV2VEHBKAt9UAAAAAAA ==" Key="iL0BXUBAAA/B0pRMYBAAAAAA" SupplierCode="6E" />
<air:TaxInfo Category="IN" Amount="INR795.00" SegmentRef="fc8KV2VEHBKBt9UAAAAAAA ==" Key="iL0BXUBAAA/B1pRMYBAAAAAA" SupplierCode="6E" />

Segment Association in shop for IN Tax for Air Price Points and Air Pricing Solution
Air v50.0 release provides segment association for total taxes in a shop response so that flight options display Total Fare (Base + Total Tax) for both onward and return flight. This allows customers an easier migration from Low Cost Carrier 6E IndiGo direct connection because the content returned is more in-parity with the carriers website. The TaxInfoRef in the BookingInfo element contains the segment association for total taxes, in both AirPricePoints and AirPricingSolution, for direct flights and connecting flights where the respective FareInfo has an associated amount. For example:
<air:BookingInfo BookingCode="X" BookingCount="3" CabinClass="Economy" FareInfoRef="cNAtiE/Y3BKA/DBAAAAAAA==" SegmentRef="cNAtiE/Y3BKAj+AAAAAAAA==" HostTokenRef="cNAtiE/Y3BKA3rBAAAAAAA==" TaxInfoRef="cNAtiE/Y3BKAdvBAAAAAAAAA"/ >
This enhancement adds @TaxInfoRef in LowFareSearchRsp in the following xPaths:
- AirSearchRsp/AirPricingSolution/AirPricingInfo/BookingInfo
- AirPricePointsList/AirPricePoint/AirPricingInfo/FlightOptionsList/FlightOption/Option/BookingInfo
Air Price Points
Searching for @PreferCompleteItinerary="true" may return both CompleteItinerary="false" and CompleteItinerary="true" solutions in LFS response when customer is configured for corporate and retails fares along with warning: <common_v50_0:ResponseMessage Code="701422" Type="Warning" ProviderCode="ACH">Corporate and Retail fares cannot be combined for Indigo (6E). Use CompleteItinerary="false" to combine fares and process a split booking.</common_v50_0:ResponseMessage>
Note : For ACH carrier Indigo (6E) corporate fares cannot be combined with retail fares. Whereas any Indigo retail fare brands can be combined with other retail fare brands. If corporate fares are combined with retail fares, then the follow on pricing and booking transactions will get failed. Hence PricePoints with CompleteItinerary="false" may return as these cannot be combined with any other fares.
See Low Fare Shopping by Price Points for further details.
Booking Unique ID
Any bookings made using AirCreateReservation that include carrier Indigo (6E) segments, the response includes a Unique ID per passenger in the NameNumber attribute. This ID can be used to generate individual traveler barcodes that can be presented on agency communications sent to travelers, e.g., customer itineraries. Release 23.3
For example:
<common_v51_0:BookingTraveler Key="PVw==" NameNumber="356019608 " TravelerType="ADT" Age="58" DOB="1956-12-12" Gender="F" ElStat="A">
Hold Booking
A held booking has the same rules for Domestic and International. Held Booking can include ancillaries.
- IndiGo supports hold bookings on both Retail and Corporate fares.
- The period for which the booking can be hold is determined by the carrier and is returned as the TTL in the ACH Book and Retrieve Response. The current rules are in the table below
- Hold Booking is allowed for some Corporate Agents based on their role setting, which is set by IndiGo.
- ACH returns an error in Book of Hold not allowed for selected class, carrier or duration for corporate agents trying to put a booking on hold who do not have the role setting to allow for it.
- Email and SMS confirmation is sent to inform about held PNR canceled. There is no reminder about when the hold period is about to expire.
- It is not possible to modify a hold booking except to add payment or cancel the entire booking.
- Optional services and seats can be added when creating a booking on hold, and ACH displays a status of 32.STS in the optional services, which is the same as in the segments
- After the TTL expires, ACH returns an error of "Unable to retrieve reservation" in the Retrieve Response
- If payment is declined for a bookings a payment can be added for the pending booking.
- ACH book response will indicate the TTL and shall provide the appropriate warning regarding the payment issue.
- ACH allows the users to pay for a Hold booking as part of the ACH Book Modify service.
- ACH allows the users to cancel a Hold booking as part of the ACH Cancel service.
The following table shows the hold business rules for different fares and agency types on IndiGo. These may be changed by IndiGo at any time.
With the release of Universal API 21.3.1, it allows passing agency form of payment when fulfilling ancillary options for carrier Indigo (6E) so that options are not limited to a single payment type (e.g., credit card). Release 21.3
Note : This functionality is limited release. Contact your Travelport representative for further information.
The following errors may return:
If the carrier is not eligible, the following error returns: "Agency Form Of Payment is not supported for this carrier."
If the switch turned off when other customers attempt to add the agency payment as FOP, the following error returns: “Agency Form Of Payment is not enabled. Please Contact Support.”
BSP Payment
BSP can be added as a form of payment to held IndiGo bookings to allow travelers an alternative way to pay for their travel reservations. Release 23.1 UniversalRecordModifyRequest/UniversalModifyCmd/AirAdd/AirPricingPayment/FormOfPayment/BSPPayment
During the standard process for BSP payment for 6E, the booking is not confirmed instantly. After the payment is processed, the booking status changes from PN to HK.
This is the standard process for BSP payment.
Users can retrieve the PNR typically within 15 minutes. If the booking is not confirmed within the maximum time of 30 minutes, further investigation required. E.g., <ResponseMessage Code="15015" Type="Warning" ProviderCode="ACH" xmlns=http://www.travelport.com/schema/common_v52_0> Reservation pending with the Vendor-Booking has been held for 30 min to process payment. Contact IndiGo Account Manager if PNR does not confirm within 15 min. </ResponseMessage>

Online travel agency MakeMyTrip has announced a new exclusive charter service between Mumbai and Bhutan. This service is a part of its holiday packages and the exclusive charter will depart once a week.
The service has been launched due to the increasing popularity of Bhutan among Indian travelers, said Jasmeet Singh, senior vice president, holidays and experience at MakeMyTrip.
Popularity of Bhutan: On the MakeMyTrip platform, Bhutan is among the five most-searched emerging destinations with a year-on-year increase of more than 200%.
This year between January 1 and March 31, Bhutan received a record number of visitors. Of the more than 25,000 visitors during this period, 60% originated from India. March 2024 alone was the third-busiest month since the kingdom’s reopening, and during the month, 57% of the tourists were from India.
Bhutan has made travel for Indians simple as visitors only require a permit to enter the country at a fee that is lower compared to tourists from other parts of the world. This year, the kingdom is expecting around 150,000 Indian tourists, more than double of 2023 levels, Bhutan’s prime minister Tshering Tobgay said last month .

Last year, IndiGo placed a mega order for 500 aircraft with Airbus, the largest order to be placed in the history of passenger jets. The airline has an order book for over 1,300 aircraft with Airbus, of which nearly 400 have been delivered so far. In 2024, eight aircraft were delivered by the plane manufacturer to IndiGo.

India is an important market for IHG, according to Sudeep Jain, managing director, South West Asia . The route will add to Air India’s current network of four direct routes between India and Southeast Asia: Singapore, Bangkok, Phuket, and Yangon.
Air India is in the middle of being merged with sister airline Vistara after the former national carrier was acquired by Tata Group. Indian Railways’ Ramayana Yatra Train Boosts Spiritual Tourism
Indian Railways is running the Ramayana Yatra train to cover 14 cities linked to Hindu deity Lord Rama. The pilgrimage train covers 39 revered sites, including Lord Rama’s birthplace Ayodhya, and travels across the country to help devotees visit these sites.
Spiritual tourism in India is a major part of the industry, boosted by the consecration ceremony of Ram Temple in Ayodhya. While the government of India has schemes geared towards boosting and improving religious tourism in India, airlines and private hotels have also been increasing their presence in spiritual sites.
Budget carriers IndiGo and SpiceJet launched airlines to Ayodhya in January this year, while several hotel brands including Radisson and Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) have signed and opened properties in the city.

The system is being installed at the airport, the Economic Times has said . The aim is to improve service at the airport and reduce the time taken by passengers between entry into the airport and boarding. Earlier this month, DigiYatra was launched at the Chennai airport .

Moscow’s central district of Khamovniki is situated directly south-west of the centre and south of the Arbat District within a curve of the River Moskva. The district is served by Kropotkinskaya to Vorobyovy Gory metro stations on the red line.
