Staggeringly beautiful and timelessly poignant, Journey is a trip well worth taking.

Incredible game, 1 issue with iOS port

The first time I played Dune on PS4 was very recently, and I honestly had a spiritual experience, a first for me with a video game. The visuals and gameplay are so simplistic but even without any writing or dialogue they tell a very moving story, with a dreamlike sense of sacredness and a deep touch of humanity on a desolate alien world. The multiplayer aspect of the game is what really binds you to the experience, in my opinion. On this iOS version, you’ll find the multiplayer experience is lacking. I’m not sure why, but you simply can’t find another player to travel with you for the entire length of the journey. It may just be that because this is a mobile platform, people are swiping the app off in the middle of things, although I can’t see this being a “pick up, play, put down” kind of game, so I’m guessing it’s a connectivity issue. This is an older game with kind of a niche following so I can see why, with “Sky: Children of Light” doing so well now, Journey is a low priority, or maybe there is some issue that makes multiplayer of this kind harder on iOS for reasons I wouldn’t understand as a layperson. Journey gets 5 stars for PlayStation, and I could easily say 10/5 stars, but 4 stars from me for iOS because you typically lose the companionship aspect of the gameplay.

Truly Fun and Emotionally Powerful

A really enjoyable game. There can be so much toxic behavior in the gaming world sometimes, but this isn’t that kind of game. I feel lonely very often, and don’t often see friends or socialize; I didn’t know this game had multiplayer when I started playing it, and had played through it maybe six times alone, so I was quite shocked when I ran into someone. See, I have a disability; I cannot feel my hands, and the muscles in my fingers don’t work, but the player I ran into patiently helped me and stayed with me even though I am very clumsy, and repeatedly fell off of a tall structure at one point. We had to start over many times because of me before we succeeded, and it would be very understandable if it was frustrating for them, since they wouldn’t know why I was struggling with certain things that would probably have been much easier if my hands worked, and yet they still played through that part with me. After reading more about it, I know this game’s designers intended for their to be an emotional connection bond/connection formed between anonymous players who run into each other, and that the lack of text or speech comms is meant to add to that, and for me, that was an incredibly powerful experience. Also, it’s pretty cool that if I can play this game on iOS, then it is probably pretty accessible for other players with motor disabilities that affect their hands.

In this section, we will discuss both methods so that you can choose the best way to install our iPA library files to your iPhone/iPad. We have listed the IPA installation process below based on popularity and ease of steps.

How to Install IPA file with TrollStore/TrollHelper

• Open Safari
• Go to https://api.jailbreaks.app/troll64e
• Tap Install
• An app named GTA Car Tracker will now install to your iOS device, this app is TrollHelper, however.

Installing TrollStore

• Open the GTA Car Tracker app
• Tap Install TrollStore
• The TrollStore application will now install to your iOS device.

Preparing TrollStore

• In order to be able to sideload an IPA file, a couple more steps need to be done.
• Reopen the GTA Car Tracker app
• Press Register Persistence Helper
• The GTA Car Tracker app can now be used as the Persistence Helper

The reason the persistence helper is highly important is that, whenever iOS rebuilds its icon cache, all apps installed by TrollStore (as well as TrollStore itself) will either disappear or no longer open. To workaround this, the Persistence Helper (which will still open even after this happens) can refresh app registrations so that the apps will reappear and open again.

Rhea Ripley injured, stripped of women's world championship on WWE Raw

Ripley had held the title for over a year after winning it at wrestlemania 39 in april 2023.

Rhea Ripley's year-long run as women's world champion is over. On Monday's edition of Raw , Ripley announced that she needed to relinquish the title due to an injury that will keep her sidelined for several months.

Ripley won the title at WrestleMania 39 when she defeated Charlotte Flair. Ripley's most recent title defense came against Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 40, crossing the one-year mark as champion. At the moment Ripley was forced to vacate the title, she had held the championship for 380 days.

Word of Ripley's injury broke Monday afternoon, with a segment from the April 8 edition of Raw cited as when Ripley suffered the injury. In that segment, she was attacked backstage by Liv Morgan.

Morgan, who had been on a "revenge tour" after her legitimate injury in 2023, was given the storyline explanation of being the result of a Ripley attack. Morgan did make an appearance on Monday night, laughing at Ripley, though the two did not come to blows.

There was no specific timeline announced for Ripley's return, nor specific details of the exact nature of the injury to her arm.

Paris 2024 flame to be lit in Olympia, will kick off 12,000 km journey

T he sacred flame for the Paris 2024 Olympics is to be lit Tuesday in ancient Olympia, birthplace of the ancient Games, for an epic torch relay stretching from the Acropolis to the South Pacific.

Hundreds of dignitaries and spectators are expected to attend the ritual in the small Peloponnese town in southwestern Greece where the Olympics were born in 776 BCE, and where the ceremony is held every two years for the summer and winter Olympics.

For the first time since the Covid-19 pandemic imposed toned-down events for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and 2022 Beijing Winter Games, spectators will be able to attend the torch relay events.

At a rehearsal Monday, Greek actress Mary Mina brought the Olympic flame into life with the help of a parabolic polished mirror before handing it to the first torch bearer, 2020 Olympic rowing champion Stefanos Ntouskos.

It will be used as a backup in case overcast skies forecast for Tuesday prevent the mirror from producing flame.

The ceremony will be conducted at the ruins of the 2,600-year-old Temple of Hera, with Greek President Katerina Sakellaropoulou and International Olympic Committee president Thomas Bach heading the list of dignitaries.

French sports minister Amelie Oudea-Castera and Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo will also be present.

"We hear nature, the rustling of the leaves, there is a sacred silence," Artemis Ignatiou, the choreographer and artistic director of the Olympic flame ceremony, told state TV ERT about the ceremony's dance performance.

"There are moments when we feel as if we are hovering above the ground. It's like travelling back in time," she said.

American mezzo soprano Joyce DiDonato is to deliver the Olympic anthem.

The torch harks back to the ancient Olympics when a sacred flame burned throughout the Games. The tradition was revived in 1936 for the Berlin Games.

Retired French swimmer Laure Manaudou, who won a gold medal in the 2004 Athens Olympics, is strongly tipped to be France 's first torchbearer in Olympia, according to sources in Greece.

During the 11-day relay on Greek soil, some 600 torchbearers will carry the flame over a distance of 5,000 kilometres (3,100 miles) through 41 municipalities.

The Olympic flame will be handed over to Paris 2024 organisers in a ceremony at the all-marble Panathenaic Stadium, site of the first modern Olympic Games of 1896, on April 26.

Nana Mouskouri, the 89-year-old Greek singer with a worldwide following, has been invited to perform at the ceremony.

On April 27, the flame will begin its journey to France on board the 19th-century three-masted barque Belem, which was launched just weeks after the Athens 1896 Games.

A French historical monument, the Belem carried out trade journeys to Brazil, Guyana and the Caribbean for nearly two decades.

France's last surviving three-mast steel-hulled boat, it is expected to arrive in Marseille on May 8.

Ten thousand torchbearers will then carry the flame across 64 French territories.

It will travel through 400 towns and dozens of tourist attractions during its 12,000-kilometre (7,500-mile) journey through mainland France and overseas French territories in the Caribbean, Indian Ocean and Pacific.

On July 26 it will form the centrepiece of the Paris Olympics opening ceremony on the river Seine -- the first time it has not been held in the Games' main stadium.

‘A message of peace’: Olympic flame begins its journey to Paris

Torch lit in ruins of ancient Olympia, Greek birthplace of Games, starting 3,100-mile relay that will end in July

A taste of the drama and beauty of this summer’s Paris Olympics has unfolded in the foothills of Greece with the lighting of the flame that will illuminate the world’s biggest sports event.

In a ceremony held amid the ruins of ancient Olympia, the birthplace of the Games 2,800 years ago, the flame was kindled by performers dressed as priestesses, though this year because of weather conditions the torch was not ignited as usual in a parabolic mirror – which focuses the sun’s rays – but from a flame lit during a rehearsal.

Emerging from the ruins, where she had invoked Apollo, the Greek sun god, for light and peace “for all peoples of the world”, the actor playing the role of high priestess then handed the flame to the first of hundreds of torchbearers who will carry it on an 11-day journey around Greece.

This year, that honour fell to the country’s Olympic gold medallist and rowing champion Stefanos Douskos, who glanced up at the silver torch to ensure it was blazing before taking the first steps of the more than 3,100-mile relay. The flame will be handed over to the organisers of the 33rd Olympiad in Athens on 26 April before making its way on the Belem – a French three-masted sailing ship built in 1896, the year of the first modern Games – to Marseille and then Paris for the opening of the Games on 26 July.

With war raging in Europe and the Middle East, the ceremony was also infused with something else: a desire for the spirit of truce that the ancients held dear during the original Olympic Games .

Giving voice to that desire, the mayor of Paris, Anne Hidalgo, told France 2 TV from ancient Olympia: “This torch is a message of peace, a message of friendship between peoples, which is all the stronger at a time when the world is in such bad shape.”

As such, she said, the Olympic flame would pass by the site of the 2015 Islamist attack on the Bataclan concert hall and the Shoah [Holocaust] Memorial when it made its way through the French capital in July. Paris city hall, which is hosting the flame on 14 July, when France celebrates Bastille Day, would stay open all night so that “visitors and Parisians can see this symbol of fraternal transmission across the planet”, she added.

Addressing the Olympic ceremony, French organisers highlighted the equality of this summer’s Games: with full gender parity there will, for the first time, be as many female as male athletes contesting. Paris 2024 will also include competitive breakdancing, an urban sport that originated in the hip-hop culture of 1970s block parties in the US.

The six-footer will stay local, having been drafted last night by the Los Angeles Sparks with the No. 28 overall pick at the top of the third round . Her teammate, fellow ex-Ivy League grad student Kaitlyn Davis, was selected by the New York Liberty with the No. 35 pick .

As Luca Evans of The Orange County Register , Forbes, who spent her undergrad career with the Cal Golden Bears and subsequently the Harvard Crimson, was reveling in the moment as USC made its run to the Elite Eight earlier this month.

“I’ve been waiting my whole life, but honestly my whole college career to make a deep run in March Madness, because I always felt like I was – I always felt like I deserved to be on that stage, and showcase my game, and that I was good enough for it,” Forbes said. “And so, I think, just to have that opportunity, that’s why you see me, like – I just don’t like to hold back any emotion.”

The 23-year-old out of Folsom made quite the impression on her Harvard head coach, Carrie Moore, as Evans details.

“She is absolutely fearless,” Moore raved. “She doesn’t think about, like, you know, tie game, need a big bucket – what’s the downfall of taking this shot? She just thinks about the positive, and that says a lot about her and how she operates.”

“She speaks things into existence... She sees things before they even happen,” Moore said. “Like, she doesn’t think about not getting into Harvard... All she thinks about is getting in, and what that journey looks like on the other side.”

Per Evans, USC head coach Lindsey Gottlieb is confident that Forbes is not just a WNBA-level talent, but also is capable of applying her Ivy League-trained brain to crunching numbers in a hoops front office at some point.

Should she earn a roster spot in training camp, Forbes will instantly become part of a big youth movement for the three-time WNBA champs, who haven't even been to the playoffs across any of the last three seasons. LA selected Stanford forward Cameron Brink with the second overall pick and Tennessee forward Rickea Jackson with the fourth pick.

The flame that will burn at the Paris Olympics has been kindled at the site of the ancient games in Greece.

During a ceremony, an actress dressed as an ancient Greek priestess was supposed to use the sun to ignite the silver torch, but cloudy skies meant a backup flame was used to light it instead.

Thousands of spectators turned up to watch the event, during which the priestess offered up a symbolic prayer to Apollo, the ancient Greek sun god.

The flame will be carried from the ruined sports grounds of Ancient Olympia, the birthplace of the games, by a relay of torchbearers on an 11-day journey of more than 3,100 miles (5,000km) through Greece until it is handed over to the Paris Games organisers in Athens on 26 April.

The torch will then travel from Athens' port of Piraeus on the French three-masted sailing ship the Belem, which was built in 1896 - the first year of the modern games in Athens.

It is due to arrive in the southern French port of Marseille - a city founded by Greek colonists some 2,600 years ago - on 8 May, according to Captain Aymeric Gibet.

In Paris , the flame will pass the site of the 2015 attack on the Bataclan concert hall as well as the Shoah Memorial, mayor Anne Hidalgo said.

The Paris city hall, which will host the flame on 14 July when France celebrates Bastille Day, will stay open all night so "visitors and Parisians can see this symbol of fraternal transmission across the planet," Ms Hidalgo added.
