BROCKHAMPTON put on one of the best live shows I've ever seen, and I've been to quite a few. Their DJ, Romil, played a few songs from the likes of Kanye West, Travis Scott, Future, Frank Ocean and Asap Rocky for about 15 minutes or so and then, without leaving the stage, instantly transistioned into playing BROCKHAMPTON's instrumentals. They started with HEAT, one of their hardest bangers, which was a great way to get the crowd very excited. Each of the band's 6 rappers/vocalists came out one by one for their parts in the song. They played a pretty even mix of 13 songs from SATURATION 1 and 2 before leaving the stage, with highlights for me being JUNKY, BUMP, MILK, and QUEER. However, they were far from done. Bearface came out to the stage on his own with a guitar to play his 2 solo cuts from the albums, WASTE and SUMMER. These songs are very different from the rest of their caralogue, but still incredibly enjoyable and gave the show some cool variety. After Bearface finished, the rest of BROCKHAMPTON came back out to perform their mega-hit, STAR. And they performed the heck out of it. They played STAR a total of 6 times in a row, leading to an epic moshpit and energy release. From start to end, BROCKHAMPTON put on an amazing show, with their smoother cuts being just as entertaining as the bangers. I'll be going to see them every chance I get from now on.

The show was incredible. It was my first time at the Anthem, so without knowing how big it was, I arrived at 6am with all of my friends and got front row in the very center. The show did have a few technical difficulties but they still played a full setlist which was relieving. The crowds are extremely rough, not in the mushing sense but just in the sense that there is extreme pushing and jumping at nearly all times, and dozens of people had to get pulled out of the pit. Definitely not for the faint of heart, but I'm 5 feet tall and anemic and I survived somehow so if you have a chance to see these boys live GO FOR IT. Every aspect of their live performance is captivating and not a single second is ever boring. Hell, Joba even did a barrel roll across stage in the middle of a verse and came back in right on time. I can't wait to see this band again, they never fail to amaze me.

BROCKHAMPTON went hard!!! It was a lot of fun until I felt like i was going to die because of the lack of oxygen and lack of water, plus they kept egging ya to sing along but it was really hard seeing that none of us could breathe and the whole crowd was being drowned in weed smoke and vape smoke. It was still an awesome concert and i’m really glad i got to see them but i would not recommend going if you wanna be up close but you can’t handle hardcore mosh pits. I’ve been to punk shows before but none of them compared to the bh crowd. A lot of people were passing out and throwing up, so I highly recommend wearing practically nothing and stocking up on water, and shoes that won’t come off, because mine got stepped on and i ended up having to carry it around the whole night because bending down would be a death wish.

This concert was the most amazing experience of my life. Brockhampton's music is so much fun and really relatable, it's amazing to listen to and even better live! They put on a crazy show with a good mix of their hype songs and the more chill ones as well. The highlight of the night for me was when they let some of the fans wearing orange jumpsuits come on stage! My friend and I bought the jumpsuits having no idea they did this and we got on stage! We got to meet them all and take pictures with some of the members. Then they even continued to perform 2 more songs with us on stage! Brockhampton is the most versatile group of musicians I have ever heard and I'm so thankful for their honesty and openness within their music. They made their show a memory I will never forget! Thank you Brockhampton! <3

Super awesome concert. Got to see many members waiting in line, like Nick and Jon. The crowd was very lit and sweaty, aka a pretty decent mosh pit environment. Every member was super nice, had some amazing dances moves, especially Joba and the whole performance is a must see. Getting to see everyone so up close, singing, was incredible. They're all so nice too. And they kept the crowd alive, with hype songs and at one point the creation of a huge hole to start a mosh on this guy. Their finale where they invited everyone that was costumed on the stage was really great too. Made me wish i had blue paint and an orange jumper on me.

Not sure whether it was an issue with the venue (it was very very hot) but the show ended a half hour early. Some people were saying it was because the band was annoyed at the level of participation but either way, very annoying. They also came on a half hour late. The sound was very bad, to the point I couldn't hear which songs were which. Also, the band kept trying to make the crowd rap the verses which was imo a lot to ask. The lighting and aesthetics of the show were great though, and I think maybe at a better venue it could've been a better show but the late start and early end were really aggravating.

I went with my cousin to go see the world's best boyband, and they did not disappoint. They started a bit late, but made it up at the end of the night with THREE encore songs. As the show started, the visuals and just communication with the crowd was very fulfilling. As the music started, and the crowd got more rowdy they kept asking if we were all right. Security was also very nice, they have water to the crowd, more so towards the front. The venue was extremely hot, so it was very appreciated. Honestly, seeing them in Chicago was the best decision I've made in a while.

The performance itself was amazing. Brockhampton is a great group, and they put on an awesome show. However, the venue (Coca-Cola Roxy, ATL) was not checking tickets, and anyone who wanted to run into the pit could. This caused it to be way too packed, and the pit was brutal. I’ve been to plenty of concerts before (including another BH show) and have always been perfectly fine in the pit. I had to leave after the ~4th song and go to the balcony.

thurston.rw’s profile image

An absolutely mad show. I was really close to the stage and completely squished in a thick crowd of people. The show was absolutely amazing and I was so happy to be seeing my favorite boy band right in front of my eyes. I recommend anyone who has any interest in hip-hop see BROCKHAMPTON because they put on a hella hype show.

FoxHound42’s profile image

This show was pretty wild. No complaints about the concert. The only downside was the show was supposed to start at 9:00 and they didn’t come on stage until about 9:30. They also just played like the same strange classical song until they came on stage. So we just stood there for over an hour doing nothing.

Brockhampton

Brockhampton will go on an indefinite hiatus following their 2022 Coachella performance, the hip-hop boy band announced Friday (Jan. 14).

“Brockhampton’s upcoming performances at the O2 Academy Brixton in London and at Coachella will be their final as a group. All other forthcoming tour dates are canceled, effective immediately,” reads an official statement from the group, obtained by Billboard . “Refunds for all tickets and VIP packages will be available at the point of purchase. Following these remaining shows, Brockhampton will take an indefinite hiatus as a group. They invite their fans to come celebrate the end of an era with them at these final performances.”

The O2 Academy Brixton show will take place next month, on Feb. 7, while the back-to-back Coachella 2022 weekends are slated for April 15-17 and April 22-24. The full festival lineup, which was announced Wednesday, includes Brockhampton on the Saturday bill.

De facto leader Kevin Abstract had previously hinted that the group might be parting. He tweeted in March 2021 that Brockhampton wouldn’t be putting out music for much longer. “2 brockhampton albums in 2021 – these will be our last,” he said. Only one Brockhampton album, Roadrunner: New Light, New Machine,  materialized last spring. But fans hoped to be calling his bluff by pointing out that the alt-hip-hop collective had promoted their 2017 album Saturation III  as “the last studio album by Brockhampton” before going on to release two more studio albums after.

Brockhampton was founded in 2010 in San Marcos, Texas. The group is known for its diverse and inclusive lineup of Black and LGBTQ+ members with brash bars, boisterous beats and occasional blue face paint. Brockhampton mainly consists of vocalists Abstract, Matt Champion, William “Merlyn” Wood Jr. and Dom McLennon; vocalists/producers Russell “Joba” Borning, Ciarán “Bearface” McDonald and Jabari Manwa; producers Romil Hemnani and Kiko Merley; graphic designer Henock “HK” Sileshi; photographer Ashlan Grey; web designer Robert “Roberto” Ontenient; and manager Jon Nunes. Former vocalist Ameer Vann was dismissed from the band in 2018 following sexual misconduct allegations.

Brockhampton released its Saturation trilogy, which contained the group’s first three studio albums, between June and December 2017 on their own label Question Everything, Inc. with Empire Distribution. In 2018, the group  signed to RCA Records in a deal worth $15 million , Billboard reported at the time.

The boy band has only achieved one Billboard Hot 100 hit in its career, with “Sugar” from its 2019 album  Ginger  peaking at No. 66 in 2020. The song also broke into the top 40 of the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and Hot Rap Songs charts. The song also received a remix by Dua Lipa in 2020. “ It’s very reassuring to make something, feel like it has the potential to be great, and then it actually follows through,” producer Hemnani told Billboard in a feature. “It’s motivating us even more to trust in our own ideas more because we can do these weird ideas that we think are good, and it’ll still connect with people. So let’s keep doing them.”

Five albums charted on the Billboard 200 , with 2018’s  Iridescence  being the group’s first and only No. 1 album. Its most recent album  Road Runner: New Light, New Machine  reached No. 11. Brockhampton’s songs have registered 2.24 billion on-demand U.S. streams, according to MRC Data.

Will Brockhampton Go On Tour After ‘TM’ And ‘The Family?’

Aaron Williams

It has certainly seemed a long time coming, but Brockhampton’s final album as a group, TM , arrives tonight after what was originally billed as that album, The Family , turned out to be more of a Kevin Abstract solo album . The group surprise-announced TM after fans were baffled by The Family ‘s exclusion of most of the members of the massive, self-described boy band, leaving fans to wonder whether all of Brockhampton’s dramatic pronouncements over the past couple of years had just been theater. Some also wondered whether, with two new albums to promote, the group might head out on a farewell tour.

However, it appears that the answer is, conclusively, no. TM will apparently be an album of unfinished cutting room floor material, described in a press release as “an album made up of songs that were started by the group during a two-week stint in Ojai, California in 2021, but were never fully completed during those sessions.” And since The Family consists of Kevin Abstract’s solo tracks, it seems unlikely that he’ll need Bearface, Dom McLennon, Joba, Matt Champion, or Merlyn Wood around to help him perform them.

There is good news, though. The group will play one last show on Saturday, November 19, at the Fonda Theater in Los Angeles, and it will be streamed live on Amazon Prime Video’s Twitch channel for the world to watch as they take their final bow.

Will Brockhampton Tour Again?

The question on everyone’s lips is will Brockhampton tour again? When the hip-hop “boy band” Brockhampton announced they would be going on an indefinite hiatus their fans were left in shock. This surprise announcement came just a few days before the group’s European tour was set to kick off in London. In a post on the  band’s Twitter  account, group leader Kevin Abstract explained that the decision was made “effective immediately.” The message went on to say that all remaining tour dates, including Brockhampton’s Coachella performance and their upcoming show at the O2 Academy Brixton in London, would be canceled.

While it is unclear what has led to the sudden hiatus, many fans speculate that it may have something to do with the recent departure of the group’s founding member Ameer Vann. It remains to be seen whether the hiatus is temporary or permanent, but for now, fans will have to enjoy  Its music  from afar.

Will Brockhampton Tour Again?

Will brockhampton tour again?

Brockhampton is an American hip-hop  boy band  that was formed in San Marcos, Texas in 2015. The group is composed of Kevin Abstract, Matt Champion, Romil Hemnani, Bearface, Joba, Merlyn Wood, and Dom McLennon. The group has released three studio albums, Saturation (2017), Saturation II (2017), and Saturation III (2018). They have also released an EP, collab ep (2016), and a mixtape, All-American Trash (2016).

The group announced their indefinite hiatus on January 1st, 2019 after their final performances, tour dates  were never publicly announced for their hiatus. All of a sudden, postponed and canceled tour dates began to be displayed on Ticketmaster for their “Love Your Parents” Tour which was set to happen in the United States and Canada throughout October and November.

Brockhampton’s upcoming performances page showed four performances left: two at the O2 Academy Brixton in London on September 15th and 16th, one at the Heineken Music Hall in Amsterdam on September 18th, and one at the Ancienne Belgique in Brussels on September 19th. As of today, there are no other forthcoming tour dates scheduled for Brockhampton.  It is unclear if any more will be announced or if these four shows will be rescheduled due to the current global situation with the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Group leader posted a statement to Twitter on January 3rd, 2019 officially announcing Brockhampton’s indefinite hiatus. He wrote “new  Brockhampton album  soon but right now we need to take some time off… Will be back before you know it.” This was followed by many members of the group tweeting out “I’m not in Brockhampton,” leading fans to believe that this might not be a temporary leave but the end of the group. VIP packages that included a meet-and-greet with the group were abruptly taken down from Ticketmaster shortly after this announcement with no reasoning given.

This is not the first time that Brockhampton has put touring on hold; they also did so following the release of their third album Saturation III to focus on new music. Between 2017 and 2018, the band went on a European tour and a world tour to support their albums. After these tours wrapped up, many members of Brockhampton took part in solo projects or tours; for instance,  Matt Champion  went on tour with Danny Brown in early 2018 and Joba toured with Flo Milli in late 2019. However, this is the longest break that the group has taken since they first formed back in 2015.

Although it is unclear if Brockhampton will return to touring anytime soon, group leader  Kevin Abstract  has teased that new music from the band is “coming soon.” In an interview with Zane Lowe on Beats 1 radio on April 27th, 2020, Abstract said he had been working on new music with fellow members Merlyn Wood and Romil Hemnani during quarantine and that he was hoping to have a new album out by the end of 2020. With such high hopes from their leader and several members still working together despite being on hiatus, there is a chance that we may see Brockhampton return to touring sooner rather than later.

Final Performances

Will brockhampton tour again?

Brockhampton will be performing their remaining shows, which include their Coachella performance and four nights at the O2 Academy Brixton in London. The announcement was made via the hip-hop boy band’s Twitter account with a statement from group leader Kevin Abstract. After these final performances,  the band  will be going on an indefinite hiatus. VIP packages are still available for purchase on the group’s website for those who want to see them perform one last time. Many members of the group have already posted about their indefinite hiatus, and Brockhampton has announced that all future tour dates are canceled. This is effective immediately.

While Brockhampton has had many members over the years, Matt Champion was the only original member left by the time of their European tour in 2018. The group rose to popularity with their satin trilogy of studio albums and has been a staple in pop culture ever since. Their most recent album, “iridescence” debuted at number one on the billboard 200. In light of this news, all of Brockhampton’s upcoming performances have been canceled, including their world tour. It is unclear what the future holds for the band, but fans are hopeful that they will reunite again in the future. Until then, fans can still listen to Brockhampton’s music and enjoy the memories of their past performances.

Why Did Brockhampton Announce Indefinite Hiatus

Will brockhampton tour again?

It is unclear why the group has decided to go on hiatus. Some speculate that it may be due to creative differences or fatigue. The group had released three studio albums in less than a year – SATURATION I, II, and III – and embarked on a world tour in support of the trilogy. It is possible that the grueling pace of releases and touring took its toll on the members of the group.

What is certain is that Brockhampton’s decision to go on hiatus has left many fans disappointed. The group had built up a large following due to the success of their SATURATION trilogy and their energetic live performances. Many fans are hoping that the hiatus is only temporary and that Brockhampton will return with new music shortly.

Conclusion

The hip-hop boy band has announced that they are going on an indefinite hiatus, but they have not ruled out the possibility of touring again in the future. Currently, there are no tour dates scheduled. They may announce additional tour dates in the future. Many members of Brockhampton have indicated that they are working on solo projects, so it is possible that the hiatus will be brief and that the group will tour again soon.
