We had a lovely meal here whilst staying nearby at Camping de La Croix du Vieux Pont (15 min drive). Well worth the journey. Lovely food and a nice ambience in the small outside area. Busy on a Tuesday night but reservation was easy through... the website. Service was attentive and, despite our poor French, we were welcomed with open arms. Would definitely recommend to others for a wonderful meal with authentic French cuisine. More
This restaurant is definitely in the "fine dining" category, but it is VERY fine. We enjoyed our meal immensely, the service was good, and the prices were appropriate for what it was. A most welcome treat, and highly recommended.
Again, this restaurant was recommended by a local B&B. Food was acceptable but we would have liked a menu in English. The waiter could have made certain we knew riz de veau was "veal sweetbreads". Also the tornados Rossini was rather tough. We were surprised... to be seated in a covered outdoor area and not offered the choice of eating inside. They wouldn't take Amex cards. Arriving at Le Moulin de Laval for a night halfing the distance between Normandie and Germany, we asked the host for advice for dinner. and this one we got. So glad we followed, because food and staff made our last evening in France very satisfying.

This is a totally different experience but worth a detour to visit this fine restaurant. Ambiance is excellent. Families also appeared to be enjoying their time that had filled during the time we were eating. Make a journey to this place it will be worthwhile.
