Sam Hunt Reveals 2024 Outskirts Tour Dates

Sam Hunt  just announced 17 new concerts for 2024. His Outskirts Tour represents the start of his touring year next year.

Look for Hunt in more than a dozen arenas across the midwest and southeast.

Named after his current radio single " Outskirts ," this 2024 tour begins on Feb. 22 in Grand Rapids, Mich., and wraps on April 13 in Charlottesville, Va.

• Tickets for the Outskirts Tour 2024 go on sale to the general public on Oct. 20.

"Outskirts" is one of several new songs Hunt has released separate from an official album or EP. His last studio album was Southside (2020), but since then he's dropped three radio singles and a handful of other tracks for fans to consider.

To coincide with the on-sale date of this tour, Hunt is going to share another new song on Friday. "Came the Closest" will join " Women in My Life " and "Start Nowhere" as new songs not yet heard on the radio.

The Top 20 single " Water Under the Bridge " and his No. 1 hit " 23 " are two more fans may have heard that he's not yet packaged.

Sam Hunt Unveils 2024 Outskirts Tour Dates

Sam Hunt is hitting the road next year for an extensive new set of headlining dates. The country star’s 2024 Outskirts Tour will stop in 17 cities across the U.S. through mid-April.

The span of arena dates will kick off on February 22 with a performance in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Hunt will stop in Columbus, Milwaukee, and Nashville before wrapping up with a concert in Charlottesville, Virginia, on April 13.

Fellow country artists Brett Young and Lily Rose will serve as support on all newly announced dates. This Friday (October 20), Hunt will release a new single, “Came the Closest,” which is his first track since dropping “Women In My Life” in May.

Sam Hunt is among the new artists that bring fresh sounds to the classic country. His style involves adding hip-hop slivers and R&B influences to country-pop, a significant move forward from the 2010 bro-country era. He first did this experiment with his song "Leave the Light On," which gave him recognition in the country, R&B, and hip-hop genres. After this, his breakout debut album "Montevallo," came out. This record was followed by the 2020 released album "Southside." With the distinct sound and catchy lyrics of his songs, Sam Hunt is undoubtedly hard to miss in the saturated world of country music. He has received numerous Billboard and Gramm nominations and won an American Music Award and a CMT Music Award. Sam Hunt Unveils 2024 Outskirts Arena Tour

Sam Hunt is about to be a new dad again, but his impending bundle of joy didn't stop him from booking a new tour. Hunt and his wife, Hannah, welcomed their first daughter, Lucy, in 2022. In August, his team confirmed the couple is expecting their second baby. Today, Hunt revealed plans for his 2024 tour.

Hunt's Outskirts Tour 2024 will launch on February 22 in Michigan and wrap on April 13 in Virginia. Other stops on Hunt's three-month tour include Louisville, Nashville, Milwaukee, and Green Bay. Brett Young and Lily Rose will provide tour support.

The lineup resurrects Hunt's summer tour package, which is no surprise given how pleased he was with the months the artists spent together on the road.

"I sat back for the last three months and enjoyed every second of the time I got to spend with these wonderful people," Hunt said when the tour concluded. "Thank you @brettyoungmusic , @lilyrosemusic , the players, crew, and all the hometown help that showed up and brought this tour to life.

All of you who came to see us along the way, Thank you!! Watching you grow and grow up over the years has been a beautiful thing. A summer I'll never forget."

The adoration is mutual from Rose, who is thrilled to be able to tour with Hunt again.

Sam Hunt originally began his career in the sporting world as a college quarterback however shortly after graduating he began to pursue songwriting. His commercial break came in 2012 when he penned Kenny Chesney's 'Come Over' which was recognised with an award from ASCAP. His music takes huge influence from Brad Paisley whilst the songwriter has also cited artists from various genres including Billy Currington, Usher and K-Ci and JoJo as inspiration.

In 2014 he decided to pursue his own music after an early EP appeared at #5 on the US Country charts and sold over 25,000 units. He followed this in October with his debut album 'Montevallo' which topped the US Country chart and peaked at #3 on the Billboard chart and has sold 125,000 units to date.

His first single 'Leave The Light On' was a momentous success for his label MCA. It topped the Country charts in both the US and Canada and peaked at #30 on the Billboard hot 100. It has sold over 800,000 copies since its release in 2014. Almost every one of the tracks on the album has charted on the Country chart despite not receiving an official single release, 'Break Up In A Small Town' has sold over 150,000 copies.

Starting out as a college football player, Sam Hunt made the transition to his singer/songwriter career only a few short years ago back in 2012 when he co-wrote Kenny Chesney’s single, Come Over. After receiving an award from this, he thought about performing his own material, and began writing music that he could play and accompany himself on the piano or guitar.

He opened his acoustic set with his single Raised On It, which was the first song he released as a single for himself. He accompanied himself in his acoustic guitar, and seeing him live really revealed what a talented musician he is, as he seemed to pluck and strum the instrument effortlessly, creating wonderful music. He had with him another guitarist, playing some intertwining harmonies, that really added to the ambience of his music.

He played through his mixtaped and EPs, as well as his singles from this years charts, Break Up in A Small Town, and House Party. These went down really well, and he got everyone in the audience singing along right away. He put on a fantastic show, and I was sad to see it end, but will definitely be seeing him again!

At a stature of 6 foot 3, it is pretty easy to see how Sam Hunt was originally destined for a career in football as he strides onto the stage. Many of his fans tonight will be very glad his sporting career did not take off as he may never have then turned to country music which he has an equally successful grasp of. Although he only released his debut in 2014, it was an instant hit in the US and Canada so his shows are already taking place on large stages yet this does not seem to phase Sam.

He has a fantastic down to earth mannerism and is one of the politest performers whilst playing. He is also very sincere as he passionately annunciates the lyrics on 'We Are Tonight'. The crowd goes absolutely wild at the finale of every single track and their dedication and adoration is clearly amusing to the unassuming performer who does not quite know how to tackle this as of yet. Simple thank yous followed by favourites such as 'Leave the Night On' and 'Take Your Time' seem to do the job perfectly tonight and he leaves the stage to yet more rapturous applause.

Sexy, talented and a gifted writer. Was great to see him in concert. Sadly we thought we had gotten there early enough to get a decent spot...wrong! 30 mins after doors open it was jammed! My least favorite part was what appears to be a 909 ghetto a-hole/ HB Bro following of fans. I've yet to be at a concert where these girls and GUYS were so rude pushy and just straight a-holes (got told F U to my face after some dude pushes me and steps on my foot) Never had that at a Downtown Disney concert. So it was interesting to see the large portion of this type of fan. This will make me be more mindful of the types of seats or venues when coming to see him. But of course not all bad, some classy country fans in the mix too

He was fantastic in concert !! Sounded exactly the same live and his energy and crowd participation was amazing! I will definitely go see him again soon. He took pictures with fans while performing as well as continued to have high energy despite horrendous south texas heat.

It was our first concert in USA. It was a gift from our cousins. We come from Italy, we were on holiday, it was amazing. We loved it! Wonderful voice. Big surprise. Now we listen to him in Italy. Great!

Great show. Sam managed to create an intimate feel while he talked about his musical journey to a sold out crowd at red rocks. There was a surprising variety in music and lots of energy!

So so amazing! Sam was so comfortable and engaging with the fans. Sounds just as good as he does on his records!! Will definitely be going to see him again.

Sam Hunt will hit the road this summer on his headlining Summer on the Outskirts Tour with Brett Young and Lily Rose.

The 27-date, Live Nation-produced tour will launch July 6 in Hartford, Conn., and will include stops in Atlanta, Boston, Dallas, Detroit and New York City.

Sam Hunt is bringing his 'House Party' to Resch Center for Outskirts Tour 2024 with Brett Young and Lily Rose

ASHWAUBENON - On the heels of Friday's sold-out Luke Bryan concert, the Resch Center has announced another country music tour is on the way.

Sam Hunt, with openers Brett Young and Lily Rose, will make a March 21 stop while on his Outskirts Tour 2024. It's the first headlining appearance at the arena for the "Body Like a Back Road" and "House Party" singer.

The tour kicks off Feb. 22 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and wraps up April 13 in Charlottesville, Virginia. The trek also includes a March 15 date at Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee.

Tickets for the Resch Center show go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at ticketstaronline.com , 800-895-0071 and the Resch box office. Prices are $40.75, $60.75, $80.75 and $100.75. In addition to reserved seating, there will be a general admission standing pit.  

An artist presale begins at 10 a.m. Wednesday, with additional presales throughout the week at samhunt.com/tour .

Friday's public on-sale date is the same day the Grammy Award-nominated Hunt is releasing a new song, "Came the Closest."

Country music hitmaker Sam Hunt will perform at Pine Knob Music Theatre on July 27, promoters announced on Monday.
