In Out Barcelona Tours is a travel agency formed by professionals with more than 20 years of experience in the tourism sector. We are specialized in carrying out tours with small groups visiting the main tourist attractions of Barcelona and Catalonia. We make regular trips with pick up and drop off service at your hotel, always with professional guides. We also offer private tours for your family, friends and colleagues. Our small group philosophy allows us to offer a deeper integration within the local culture and a closer experience with its inhabitants, promoting sustainable tourism. It also allows us to reach less accessible places away from mass tourism. For example, little villages and local restaurants where we may taste the regional gastronomy, panoramic country roads of Costa Brava, museums that don't allow big tour groups - like Casa Dalí in Portlligat - and other non-mainstream spots out of the crowds. Working with small groups makes it possible to customize the visits depending on the client's expectations, as well as offering a closer experience with the guide and the local culture. Affordable prices for a little bit more than big groups with pick up and drop off at accommodation included. All our guides are passionate and specialized in the tours they lead. They are lovers of the history and culture of Barcelona and Catalonia who will make you fall in love with the region as well. During our tours you will visit the best of Barcelona, enjoy wonderful views from Montjuïc and its Olympic area, visit the Old Town, the main points of modernism and Gaudí's works like Sagrada Familia, Park Güell and Casa Batlló, or the stadium of Barça. We also offer tours out of the city and around Catalonia, with destinations like Montserrat, the Theater-Museum of surrealist Dalí in Figueres and its House-Museum in Portlligat Cadaqués. The colorful landscapes of Costa Brava, the wine regions of Penedès and Priorat, and the medieval town Girona known for being the scene of TV series Game of Thrones. The Roman city Tarragona and its spectacular and perfectly preserved aqueduct, as well as other places that represent the Catalan culture. Enjoy a unique experience with us!

Ina Garten Says Husband Jeffrey ‘Would Have Been a Great Parent’ but ‘He Wanted Me to Be Happy’

"I had no interest in having children," the Food Network star said on Julia Louis-Dreyfus' podcast, 'Wiser Than Me'

Ina Garten never wanted children — and her husband Jeffrey Garten supported that decision.

During a new episode of Julia Louis-Dreyfus ’ podcast, Wiser Than Me from Lemonada Media, the Barefoot Contessa star spoke about their relationship. “I think Jeffrey would have been a great parent. He would have really loved having children,” she told the Seinfeld star. “But, he wanted me to be happy, and it was okay with him.”

As a working woman in the '70s, Ina's choice to not have kids “wasn’t a struggle at all,” she said.

“I had no interest in having children. None. I just had a terrible childhood, and it was nothing I wanted to recreate,” she added.

While the Food Network star doesn’t regret her choice, she said that by seeing her friends with their children, “I understand what it could be.”

“But when I was 20, I didn't want to have anything to do with it,” she told Louis-Dreyfus .

Ina and Jeffrey first met in 1963 when she was 15 visiting her brother at Dartmouth College, where Jeffrey was also studying. They  married in 1968 in Connecticut. They've enjoyed countless adventures together over the years in places like Paris and Washington, D.C., to their home in East Hampton, New York, of course.

Ina told Louis-Dreyfus that they’re going on two unique trips this year: a journey to the arctic and another on a safari.

In her forthcoming memoir, Be Ready When the Luck Happens (out Oct. 1.), Ina opens up about her 55-year marriage to Jeffrey. During an interview with PEOPLE announcing the book , she shared how integral her long-time partner was in shaping the project.

Sonia Moskowitz/Getty

"Jeffrey used to write letters to me when we first met, when I was in high school. And then through college. And then when he was in the military, he would write to me almost every day," she told PEOPLE. "And I kept all those letters."

Jeffrey also helped by reading Ina’s manuscript. He’s dyslexic so he typically reads for just short periods of time, but with her book, "He sat down after lunch and read it, and he didn't get up until 7:30 at night," Ina said.

She added: “He read the entire thing in one sitting. And I was like, 'Whoa.' I kept bringing him snacks and coffee. He just loved it."

Be Ready When the Luck Happens , published by Crown, will be released on Oct. 1. An e-book and audio book read by Ina herself will also be available.

Nicki minaj's husband begs court to let him go on tour with her outside u.s., nicki minaj's hubby begs court for green light i wanna go on tour too.

4/17 -- 8:28 AM PT -- Kenneth Petty 's request to travel internationally with Nicki Minaj was granted ... a judge signed off on the dates.

Nicki Minaj's husband, Kenneth Petty, is asking a court for permission to travel out of the country so he can join her on tour in Europe ... and he says he'll be needed overseas.

According to court docs, obtained by TMZ, KP says he isn't just looking to globe-trot with Nicki for fun -- on the contrary, he says it's necessary to join her on the European leg of her "Pink Friday 2" world tour for a bunch of reasons, mainly to provide childcare for their son.

The start date he lists for the anticipated travel schedule is April 17, 2024 ... and he says there will be stops in Canada, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, France, the United Kingdom, Austria, Ireland, Switzerland, and Romania.

Petty says he plans to be back in the U.S. by July 14, 2024, right after the tour wraps up -- and is hoping for a green light to join his wife ASAP.

According to the docs, his probation officer hasn't raised any objections to his travel request. However, if Kenneth's request gets approved, he'll likely need to provide the officer with a detailed travel itinerary and also check in once he's back.

As previously reported, Kenneth is currently serving 3 years probation for failing to register as a sex offender in California. That's the reason he even has to jump through these hoops.

A judge has yet to sign off -- and the court denies his request, Kenneth's gotta stay put.

Where Did It All Go Wrong for J.Lo?

Weak tour sales, a baffling album-movie-documentary, and general online mockery—why does everyone seem to have a problem with Jennifer Lopez?

In February, Jennifer Lopez released a bundle of multimedia projects that were each part of a larger statement—arguably, a misguided one—about the power of love or something. One of those was This Is Me … Now , a very cheesy and otherwise unremarkable late-career pop album. The other was This Is Me … Now: A Love Story , a loosely biographical, somewhat egomaniacal adaptation of the album into a blockbuster musical full of astrological melodrama, flashy choreography, and celebrity cameos. Finally, a couple of weeks later, Lopez released The Greatest Love Story Never Told , a behind-the-scenes documentary that’s chiefly about the making of This Is Me … Now: A Love Story but is more notable for its awkwardly invasive glimpses into J.Lo’s famed romance with a dutifully supportive but quite visibly mortified Ben Affleck.

The Ringer ’s Streaming Guide

A collage of characters from popular TV shows, from Barry to Succession

There’s a lot of TV out there. We want to help: Every week, we’ll tell you the best and most urgent shows to stream so you can stay on top of the ever-expanding heap of Peak TV.

This is all, taken together, as overproduced and exasperating as it sounds. Each project has been met with mixed-to-bad reviews and general mockery on social media. J.Lo herself admitted to Variety that she made and self-financed the musical, to the tune of $20 million, even though everyone in her creative orbit, including coproducer Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas and castmate Jane Fonda, warned her about the risk of further overexposure of her relationship with Affleck. But J.Lo persisted, and the result is a roundly uncanny production that’s distressingly reminiscent of Tyler Perry’s I Can Do Bad All by Myself but also James Cameron’s Avatar and also Paul Hunter’s music video for “Wild Wild West.” Fat Joe plays J.Lo’s therapist, and Jane Fonda plays Sagittarius, in the most cringeworthy release involving either Lopez or Affleck since—too fittingly, really— Gigli. Ticket sales for the tour to promote This Is Me … Now have been exceptionally weak; J.Lo has hastily rebranded the concert series as a greatest hits tour.

The overexposure of pop stars, to a fault, is routine. We know perhaps a bit too much about J.Lo’s pop contemporaries, too, and look: It’s not like Mariah Carey and Justin Timberlake haven’t also pushed their own post-peak vanity projects to weak receptions in recent years. But J.Lo has, for much of her career, been a curiously unsympathetic figure, a stone-cold climber whose missteps draw a great deal of schadenfreude and now something of a backlash.

Lopez has long been a more divisive figure than meets the eye. This was the crux of the drama a couple of months ago on Saturday Night Live , concerning host Ayo Edebiri, costar of The Bear , and musical guest Lopez, as the latter was promoting her aforementioned projects a couple of weeks before their release dates. A day before the taping in New York, TMZ resurfaced some old footage of Edebiri, as a guest on Laci Mosley’s podcast, Scam Goddess , saying Lopez “can’t sing” and describing her musical career as “one long scam.” These were jokes , in one sense—a comedic actor skewering a pop star in a harmlessly petty conversation on a podcast brought to you by Team Coco—but then, yes, actually, this has always been the shadow discourse about J.Lo. She can’t sing, and not in the normal way that a lot of pop stars slathered in Auto-Tune can’t sing; J.Lo goes so far as to hide behind uncredited vocals from other singers, from Ashanti (“I’m Real,” “Ain’t It Funny”) to Meghan Trainor (“Ain’t Your Mama”) . These criticisms are common enough that Lopez, commenting on the footage of Edebiri, told Variety that she’s indeed “heard similar things said about me throughout my career.” While Lopez would publicly insist that Edebiri’s comments were water under the bridge, Edebiri led off her SNL appearance with a sketch referencing her criticism of Lopez , in a half-kidding ritual self-humiliation. This was Lorne Michaels making the most of an awkward situation, sure, but also it felt like Lopez putting Edebiri in her place, even if she wasn’t directly responsible for the sketch’s development. Lopez also made a point of telling Variety that Edebiri apologized to her “with tears in her eyes.”

Such is the role Lopez never sought but has played on and off for decades now: J.Lo as pop villain—or, if not quite villain, a sort of hapless foil. Her famous feud with Mariah Carey in the early 2000s gave us the iconic quote from Carey after she was asked about J.Lo: “I don’t know her.” This was a rivalry born out of Carey’s divorce from her label boss, Tommy Mottola at Sony, who reportedly led the label to aggressively promote Lopez and scornfully sabotage the career of his ex-wife. Mottola and the tabloids pitted these two women against each other, and while the rivalry never escalated into any direct confrontation or explicit denunciation, J.Lo has always come across as the loser—a woman out of her depth.

J.Lo got her start as a Fly Girl on In Living Color and as the breakout star of Gregory Nava’s charming biopic Selena. This was the 1990s. These were, in retrospect, the only years when Lopez was so uncontroversially beloved, before her disastrous involvement with Puff Daddy, before her cold war with Mariah, and before her multimedia reach, far exceeding her grasp, could culminate in something as unwieldy and off-putting as This Is Me … Now: A Love Story. Much of the cynicism about J.Lo over the years, up to its latest climax, concerns her particular proportion of fame and talent. There’s the sense that even the heights of her own career don’t quite compare to those of her contemporaries or earn her the same sort of everlasting goodwill. Mariah Carey was arguably the most formidable female pop singer of her generation, with a fearsome command of five octaves, while Jennifer Lopez was a great dancer with a relatively weak singing voice, evident to anyone who has ever intently listened to the chorus of “Waiting for Tonight.” This contrast was always a bit damning, even if the underlying rivalry was false and, in any case, wasn’t J.Lo’s fault or problem. But J.Lo is a talented entertainer, undeniably, even as she struggles to narrow her ambitions in response to that pesky, inevitable question: talented at what, exactly?

This Is Me … Now: A Love Story possibly would’ve worked better as a back-to-basics dance showcase for Lopez, a savvy capitalization on the goodwill from her impressive performance alongside Shakira at Super Bowl LIV. But, of course, it had to be an overwrought showcase for J.Lo as an actor, singer, writer, producer, and lover, too. “Bennifer” is a tabloid romance for the ages, sure, but also the most consistently overexposed aspect of J.Lo’s legacy and one that’s dramatically at odds with her posturing as “Jenny from the block,” when she is, at this point, so clearly and thoroughly a creature of Hollywood, subject of so much resentment, exactly as Fonda warned her.

What does this victory mean for PSG?

What does this victory mean for PSG?

If you wanted to see what it meant to PSG, look no further than two key moments in the final 10 minutes.

The first saw captain Marquinhos, a player who suffered greatly during Barca’s ‘La Remontada’ comeback in 2017, block a Robert Lewandowski shot and celebrated furiously, punching his arms.

Then there was the final blow inflicted by Mbappe, leading to the emptying of the PSG dugout to join him in wild euphoria behind the goal, sharing in a famous win, with a big scoreline.

What does this Champions League exit mean for Barcelona?

What does this Champions League exit mean for Barcelona?

After the first leg in Paris, things suddenly seemed to be clicking for Barca. They went into this game unbeaten in 13 matches — a run that started when Xavi said he would leave in the summer — and with a feeling that their season could have an unexpectedly positive end.

Instead, Xavi and Barca are looking at one of the worst nights in their European history. That it was PSG, many fans’ ‘bete noir’, will make it even tougher to take. Dembele returning to twist the knife at the club where he felt so badly treated added further still to the pain.

  • How did Xavi and Barcelona implode?

How did Xavi and Barcelona implode?

This was a huge night for Barcelona and their coach, a huge chance to make their first Champions League semi-final since 2018-19. Xavi had talked pre-game about how his team had to use their heads and make the most of the opportunity.

That looked far away when the coach was red-carded for furious protests midway through the second half — right in the middle of the period when his team were self-destructing and throwing away their chances of progress.

Thom Harris

Was Xavi right to take off Yamal?

Was Xavi right to take off Yamal?

Remember when Barcelona scored the first goal of the second leg, Montjuic erupting with unbridled joy, as Xavi’s team went 4-2 up on aggregate? Did that happen tonight?

In a game of dramatic twists and cruel turns, it once looked as if 16-year-old Yamal would be the star.

Xavi had to sacrifice somebody following Araujo’s red, and given Yamal’s age and relative lack of experience, his withdrawal was probably the sensible choice.

How did Barcola change the tie?

How did Barcola change the tie?

The Athletic

Newcastle United feels a long time ago now for Barcola. In the group stages, as PSG laboured to a belated (if controversial) point against Newcastle at the Parc des Princes, Barcola took much of the flak.

The 21-year-old winger missed a few chances in that game and was subsequently criticised. But since then, Luis Enrique has kept the faith in him and now, in the biggest game of the season, Barcola has delivered.

  • Why was Araujo sent off?

Why was Araujo sent off?

Reflecting on 180 minutes of absorbing, end-to-end football — 59 shots, 10 goals, with countless sprinkles of superstar quality throughout — it feels a shame that it ended without 22 players on the pitch.

But the rules are the rules, and Araujo overstepped the line in a tangle with Bradley Barcola, leaving referee Istvan Kovacs with little choice.

Clubs headed in opposite directions

Paris Saint-Germain have reached the semi-finals of the Champions League for only the fourth time, also doing so in 1995, 2020 and 2021.

Barcelona, meanwhile, have now lost six of their last eight UCL quarter-final ties. They have reached the semis only once in the past nine seasons.

Araujo made history...

Araujo made history...

Not the kind he would have wanted though. Ronald Araujo’s red card in the 29th minute was Barcelona’s earliest ever sending off in the Champions League.

Ligue Un's plan has worked so far

Ligue Un's plan has worked so far

Well, that's one down and two to go for Ligue Un.

The French top-flight agreed to give all it's clubs involved in European action the weekend off from domestic fixtures to ensure they'd be fresh for their games this week.

And on the evidence from Montjuic, it worked a treat.

So that's PSG through to the Champions League quarter-finals. On Thursday in the Europa League quarters, Lille host Aston Villa (1-2) while Marseille welcome Benfica (1-2).

Jules Koundé spoke to Canal+ after the match: “Playing 10 against 11 for 70 minutes against a side of this calibre, with the players and the team that they have, is difficult. We tried, we had chances, but everything is harder when you go a man down.”

On whether his side deserved more from both legs: “It’s not about deserving it or not, it comes down to details. We produced a great performance in the first leg, a wonderful victory. We started well this evening, but we win and lose as a team.”

Xavi on why he took Yamal off

Xavi on why he took Yamal off

Xavi has spoken to Movistar TV about the substitution Barca made following the red card: "We weren't sure about what changes to make when Ronald (Araujo) was sent off. Pedri was coming back from a muscle injury but we wanted the type of control of possession and good use of the ball he brings and we wanted the running power of Raphinha.

"We chose to replace Lamine (Yamal) sadly, so that Iñigo (Martinez) could come on. Those are the kind of consequences which follow being reduced to ten men, I'm afraid."

PSG boss admits difficulties experiencing his Barca reunion

PSG boss admits difficulties experiencing his Barca reunion

There was more from PSG boss Luis Enrique in his chat with TNT Sports , and it made for interesting viewing.

First he was asked about his side's chances of going all the way in this year's Champions League:

💬 "Of course, that's our spirit. That's our hope. We can feel in our stadium the feeling of every supporter thinking we are the right commitment, the right character and we are going to fight to go to the final."

And then he was asked if tonight was PSG's La Remontada - their repeat of Barcelona's stunning second-leg comeback in the 2017 Champions League round of 16.

At this point, Luis Enrique got a little more caught up in his return to the club he excelled at as both a manager and player:

💬 "I hope so. It was very difficult for me in the mental way and in my feelings, playing against Barca. Very, very difficult."

Instant reaction to a Champions League thriller

The Athletic has analysed an extraordinary Champions League quarter-final, diving into:

  • Was Yamal the right player to take off after the red card?
  • What does victory mean for PSG?

Luis Enrique: 'It was very unfair but we didn't change'

Luis Enrique: 'It was very unfair but we didn't change'

PSG boss and former Barcelona hero Luis Enrique has been talking to TNT Sports about his team's performance and his return to Catalunya.

And having watched his side turn round a 3-2 first-leg deficit with a 4-1 win tonight, he was beaming:

💬 "I was very proud. You have to hope for the day that changes everything and it was today. We are very happy. Excited. I think only our supporters thought we had that opportunity, the chance to go through to the next phase. And we are there.

"We started in an unbelievable rhythm, taking control of the ball. The first time they go to our box, they score. For me it was very unfair but we didn't change the way we play. The (red) of Araujo, I didn't see but it was (then) more difficult for Barca and better for us."

So near and yet...

So near and yet...

Raphinha was very good in that quarter-final and arguably didn't deserve to end up on the losing side.

That will be scant consolation for the Barcelona forward right now, but may help in the weeks and months to come.

Vitinha has been massive for PSG

Vitinha is a real candidate (sans Mbappe) for PSG player of the season. He's now onto nine goals and five assists for the season. A real bonus from midfield.

Vitinha: No one but our supporters believed in us

Vitinha: No one but our supporters believed in us

PSG goalscorer Vitinha also spoke to Canal+ after the win: “It’s incredible. It’s difficult to put into words. I’ve been dreaming of this all week, being able to score, helping the side, reaching the semi-finals. We’re in the semis, we have to highlight that. We have to give that the credit it deserves. We’re so happy. Our supporters believed in us, and I think they were the only ones that did.

“Even when we conceded the opener, we didn’t give up. It’s difficult mentally, but the coach told us that the game would be won with our heads. Going two goals down on aggregate is difficult mentally, but we remained calm. We went looking for goals, and we produced a fantastic performance.”

Dembele: We believed this was possible

Ousmane Dembélé spoke to Canal+ after PSG's win: “Everyone believed (we could qualify), even if we lost the first leg 3-2. We didn’t give up, we knew we were going to score goals here. A big shift from the whole team.

"We worked the entire week, tactically, with the coach. His tactics were perfect. Even though we conceded the first goal, we didn’t let our heads drop. We continued to believe.”

Atletico qualify for Club World Cup at Barca's expense

Atletico Madrid may have been eliminated from the Champions League by Borussia Dortmund tonight, but it's not all bad news for them.

Thanks to Barcelona's loss, Atletico have qualified for the 2025 Club World Cup. That also means that Barca are no longer in contention to qualify.

Here’s what happened to the double-decker tour buses downtown, city sightseeing of san antonio closed shop in january.

SAN ANTONIO – Remember the bright, red double-decker tour buses downtown? Well, they have gone out of business, and a new company has taken their place.

David Strainge, founder of City Sightseeing of San Antonio, started the trolley company in 2010, according to the San Antonio Report . He opened the company as a franchise of the international tour bus operator based in Seville, Spain.

City Sightseeing closed shop in early January. Since the closure, Strainge has branched off into other business opportunities.

This has made way for Historic Tours of America to bring Old Town Trolley Tours to San Antonio.

“The timing could not have been more perfect. We have been looking to expand and the opportunity presented itself in this amazing city,” said Historic Tours of America’s CEO Chris Belland.

Old Town Trolley Tours, featuring orange and green-style busses, offers guests a 90-minute narrated tour with 14 stops throughout San Antonio.

The 12-mile tour ride includes stops at the Alamo Plaza, Japanese Tea Garden, San Antonio Zoo, Witte Museum, Botanical Gardens, The Pearl, San Antonio Museum of Art, Veteran’s Memorial Park, The Tobin Center, Buckhorn Saloon, E. Houston Street, Spanish Governor’s Palace, Historic Market Square, Tower of the Americas, Hemisfair, The Alamo, and the Crockett Hotel.

“San Antonio is a city with incredible history, attractions, sites, and fabulous people which is what we look for when going into a city,” said Belland.

Old Town Trolley Tours also offers a ‘Hometown Pass’ to Bexar County residents, granting free access when bringing an adult paying guest, according to a press release.

In addition to San Antonio, the release mentioned Old Town Trolley Tours also operates in Key West, Boston, Washington, Savannah, St. Augustine, San Diego, and Nashville.
