Travelling alone - golden triangle tour

Hi All, I went to India for three weeks, 2 weeks for volunteering and one for tourism in the Golden Triangle (Délhi-Agra-Jaipur). I was a little scared, because I'm 24 years old, I'm blond and everyone's telling me to be careful. Fortunately I found Raj, it was wonderful, he made the itinerary really well and gave me all the assistance I needed, always with a lot of patience, and doing all my wills. It was really amazing, I highly recomended him. he's a incredible person.

Good and Professional service

From the initial communication on quotation to the actual visit by my family (a group 0f 17 including young kids), Raj was most accommodating. He was there to receive us at the airport and the transportation provided for our short stay in Delhi was comfortable for all of us. The guide assigned to us on our excursion the next day going around Delhi and did some shopping was also professional and met all our request. As we wanted a nice restaurant serving Halal food, we was willing to take us to a couple of options until we were comfortable with our choice. All in all, Raj and his agency gave good and professional service. Recommended.

Raj is the best person

Raj is an amazing person. He let us discover India for one week, and we always felt comfortable and safe. Raj is always available, and real. Is that kind of person that you hope to meet one day. We had a really good travel. He organized for us the hotels and the transportation. Everything was great. I suggest him, because you will feel to be part of real India, also just by knowing him, because he shares with you all his person and habits and love (if you gives him the opportunity), and he let you feel always at home, but in the meanwhile you can discover India. I strongly suggest him.

Rajasthan tour in December

Recently in the month of December, 2017 I made the booking of car for my tour of Rajasthan through this company. The owner of safe voyages Mr. Raj Banewal is a very good person indeed. He made the arrangement for the car, which is a brand new Toyota Innova Crysta, very spacious and comfortable. The driver was very good, he effortlessly drive for the entire tour and helped us a lot. Mr. raj also takes care about everything during the tour. It was a memorable experience from our side. Hope to meet him once again.

We made a 2 week trip to Rajasthan tour

We made a 2 week trip to Rajasthan with " Safe Voyages Tours " Agency in May 2017. We made an unforgettable journey through Ramesh, head of the agency located in Delhi, who was our driver for a 16 days. Ramesh, who was our contact in France, advised us for the preparation of our course. Everything was perfect, the hotels were great, had dinner in family and had Indian cooking classes and Ramesh, who was our driver is great. His kindness, his skill, his cautious driving, and it takes caution when we discover Indian driving, allowed us to make a dream trip. Ramesh was very attentive to us, He took us to good and clean local restaurants and advised to visit some sites, and especially he made us share the love of his country, his culture. We also met children at a school and thanks to Ramesh we were able to give them notebooks and pens, it was a very emotional moment that will last a long time in our memories. We strongly recommend this agency.

Same day Agra tour from Delhi by car

We booked the same day Agra tour from Delhi and visited the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. Car picked us up from our hotel at 6am and we were in Agra just after 9am. We met our local guide in Agra. He knew his stuff and relayed many interesting facts and much history about the buildings and the people during the Mughal Empire. He helped us get tickets and knew all the best view points and spots for taking photos. Our driver was excellent, and managed the crazy traffic effortlessly. This was a great tour, reasonably priced, and we had good communication with Raj throughout since the time we made the booking by email. We liked the flexibility of the program, since we paid for just the driver and guide and we could decide whether we wanted to visit specific monuments on the day in Agra. Some other tours include ticket entry and lunch at a restaurant, so you are locked in to a set program. Only suggestion for improvement would be online advance payment opportunity such as credit card or paypal. Would definitely book again.

A Great Tour Company

Hi all, I used the service of Safe Voyages and booked a drive around New Delhi to take me around the city to various sites that I wanted to see. Raj was my driver. The price they offer is very reasonable, second the driver was very careful and very friendly and very funny as well. He was patient and never made me feel rushed when I got off the car to see a site. Even I wanted to see the old Delhi Bazar and since it's impossible to drive a car through the Bazar he came with me and bargained a rickshaw for us and we went around the Bazar. If he did not come with me I'm sure I'd be over charged by the rickshaw drivers. I had such a great time with my drive around Delhi and wanted to recommend Raj and his tour company to anyone who is looking to book a tour to India, the India's golden triangle or just getting a car and driver to take you around the city.

4 days 3 nights Golden Triangle

A few months ago we decided a tour to India at Golden Triangle . Then i started communicate with various indian agencies . One of them was Safe Voyages Tours . Raj Banewal was very kind and helpful and we decided to travel with him . He explained to us the cost , the schedule and together we planed our tour . One night at Agra , one night at Jaipur and one night at Delhi . All the 5* hotels was great . Our driver , Pawan was excellent and we felt safe . Our tour guide at Agra and Vini the tour guide at Jaipur were also excellent . Raj also helped us with our luggages . He stored them at his office and our trip was easier . We really enjoyed our stay .

Safe Voyages Tours in Delhi delivered the amazing and relaxing Taj Mahal tour for my co-worker and me from California, USA. Based on their very positive reviews, we booked the tour with Safe Voyages Tours in Delhi. We also used them for our car transport from the hotel to business meetings and airport the next two days after the tour. I found the service and response of this travel company to be excellent. Easily 5-stars. My emails were promptly responded to, and everyone showed up when they were supposed to. The charge for our car ride to the Taj Mahal in Agra was very good value. Our driver and guide were patient, friendly, courteous and thoughtful, so it was a very enjoyable tour. We also greatly appreciated the company owner & his wife’s hospitality to welcome us to their home for dinner. Golden Triangle Tour

We booked the service from Safe Voyage Tours for Golden Triangle Tour. The service provided was perfect right from the time of the booking to the last day of the tour. Raj had a very well plan chalked out for us. We enjoyed the entire trip, thanks to the driver provided by Safe Voyage Tours, as he was excellent and very safe in driving. He knew of the entire trip route and took us to whatever tourist places that we would like to visit. He knew the in and out of the tourist spots, right from the timings to the tickets, and guided us for whichever queries we had. The entire journey was in a well timed manner with the driver coming to pick us up at the time we suggested daily. The car was with us right from the pick up on the first day along with the entire trip to the drop on the final day. The co-ordination between Raj, driver and us was very good. Thanks to the Safe Voyage Tour for providing an excellent service. On last day of the trip, Raj invited us for the dinner and treated us like a family. Taste of India

We had a wonderful time visiting India for the first time. From the beginning, Raj was easily accessible via email, and we were able to make arrangements easily. We were picked up promptly, and shown the best parts of Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, and Vrindivan. Raj took us into his home, and made us feel very welcome, like we were family. We shared laughs, food, and information, and it is a memory I will have forever. Our driver was amazing, and I couldn't have been happier with his services. He was very patient, knew the areas very well, and was able to make suggestions for places that we wanted to go based upon our specifications. When I got sick, he even helped bring me back to health. The one and only negative part, for which I removed a star for, was the pressure that we received from Raj to provide a tip of $20 or greater to the tour guide. I felt that was very unprofessional, as tips are meant to be based upon the level of service, and whatever the person feels is appropriate. We had a different tour guide for each of the 4 cities that we visited, so if we were expected to pay $20 for each of them, and then turn around and tip the driver, that would greatly exceed the value that we thought we are getting by booking a package. We researched the tipping norms for India prior to traveling, and know that what was being asked was very excessive, so we tipped as we saw fit. Then, at the end of the trip, we tipped the driver much more than the local tipping norms since he was so great, but later we received a text from Raj asking us what happened, and why we gave the driver a bad tip. We were so offended and confused. Never in my life have I been accused of not tipping, or tipping poorly, and it was in very bad taste. It seemed like the tips were being used to pay for the driver/tour guide's earnings for the job, instead of their payment coming from Raj himself. I expressed to Raj my disappointment over the tipping situation, and suggested that perhaps, if he is expecting a certain amount for a tip, that he disclose this from the very beginning, as his "recommendations" significantly increased the total cost of the service. Provided these issues are cleared up, I would consider using this service again in the future. Thanks for a memorable cultural experience.

In response to campus antisemitism, touro university expands scholarship for affected students, fund will help students continue their higher education in a school committed to a safe academic environment.

With virulent antisemitism surging at college campuses across the country, Touro University expanded the Touro Safe Campus Scholarship to help defray tuition costs of students who transfer to Touro’s New York School of Career and Applied Studies (NYSCAS) for the fall semester, from any other college where they may no longer feel comfortable. The Scholarship was launched earlier this year when campus unrest threatened student safety in the aftermath of the October 7 attacks.

Touro has successfully maintained a conflict-free campus focused on education and is prepared to provide financial assistance to students who seek a safe and supportive academic environment. With a primary campus in Times Square, New York City, Touro University is comprised of over 19,000 students across 36 campuses in six states. This year has seen an increase in enrollment within the Touro University system.

Touro’s undergraduate NYSCAS division offers a direct pathway to its graduate and professional programs for qualified students, including the only medical and dental school under Jewish auspices in the country.

While Touro was founded under the historic Jewish tradition of tolerance and dignity, it currently enrolls a diverse population comprised of students from a wide range of economic, racial and religious backgrounds.

“Our students select Touro because they know they will receive a rigorous education in an environment committed to diversity of students and ideas. College students should be focused on their studies and shouldn’t have to experience hate, violence and antisemitism while pursuing their education and professional training,” said Dr. Alan Kadish, president of Touro University. “Like many, we’ve been appalled by the inability of university leaders to address the rising antisemitism on campuses. This has inspired Touro to create solutions that both protect people seeking higher education while staying true to our school’s founding mission.”

The Touro Safe Campus Scholarship is now available to students who transfer to Touro NYSCAS for Fall 2024, from another college where they currently feel unsafe and uncomfortable. Transfer students with a minimum 3.0 GPA or higher are eligible for this scholarship. Awards amount to 25% of tuition per semester, over and above other financial aid for which students are eligible and can be rewarded for up to seven semesters. Students must maintain 3.0 GPA at Touro to continue receiving the scholarship and it can only be applied toward tuition. To learn more contact Rabbi Baruch Fogel at [email protected] .

Lena, our guide in Moscow was excellent. She was very knowledgable and could answer any question we had for her. We liked that she could pick up on our interests and take us places we might not have thought of to go. When we realized that one of the places we had chosen to see would probably not be that interesting to us, she was able to arrange entry to the Diamond Fund and the Armoury for us. Riding the Metro with Lena was a real adventure and a lot of fun. In Saint Petersburg we found Anna well versed in the history of the Tsars and in the Hermitage collection. Arkady in Veliky Novgorod was a very good guide and answered all of our questions with ease. Novgorod was perhaps a long way to go for a day trip, but we did enjoy it. Vasily was a great driver to have and kept us safe with good humour and skill. We enjoyed ourselves so much, my daughter says she is already planning to return. We would both have no hesistation to recommend ExpresstoRussia to anyone we know.

Just wanted to let you know that My grandson Bruno and I couldn´t have been more pleased with our week in Moscow (6/15 - 6/21). We were absolutely enchanted with the whole experience, including getting lost a couple of times in the Metro during our free time. Although both our guides (both Eleanas) were excellent, I would particularly commend the first one (she took us to the Tatiakov, the KGB tour, and to that beautiful cemetery where so many great Russian artists, authors, composers, musicians, militarists, and politicians are buried). Her knowledge is encyclopedic; and her understanding of today´s Russia as a product of its past was, for us, truly enlightening. I will be taking another tour in Russia, with my wife, within the next two or three years. I will be in touch with you when the time comes. Do they speak English in Moscow?

As Russia’s capital city, tourists are well accommodated in Moscow. There should be English-speaking staff in restaurants, bars, hotels, shops and attractions in tourist hotspots, and there are also English-speaking tourist police. Transport services have English translations on their maps and English announcements via intercom; alternatively, order taxis from the Yandex Taxi app (Russian Uber), though it’s unlikely that your taxi driver will speak English. If you get stuck and cannot communicate, it’s fine to use Google Translate.

Is it safe to travel to Moscow?

It is no less safe to travel to Moscow than to any European city if you exercise common sense and look after your belongings. As with every city some regions can be more unsavoury than others, but no tourist attractions are located there. The traffic in Moscow is notorious, so exercise caution when crossing roads. Do not take unlicensed taxis; book in advance or take public transport, which is widespread and perfectly safe. If you encounter any problems, look for the special tourist police who can help you. Rickie Fowler makes hole-in-one during trip to Pine Valley

It’s safe to say that Rickie Fowler has had some memorable par-3 moments in his career.

Fowler birdied TPC Sawgrass’ infamous par-3 17th hole three times on Sunday to win THE 2015 PLAYERS Championship. He made a hole-in-one at TPC Scottsdale’s seventh hole during the 2023 WM Phoenix Open. He even won this year’s Par 3 Contest at the Masters.

And now, he reportedly made an ace on one of the most famous courses in America. Golf Digest reported that Fowler made an ace during a casual round at Pine Valley Golf Club in Pine Hill, New Jersey, on Wednesday morning. Pine Valley is considered one of the best courses in the United States, rivaling Augusta National, Oakmont and Cypress Point.

Fowler reportedly made the ace on the par-3 third hole, hitting a 7-iron from 182 yards away. In a photo taken after the round, Fowler held a Pine Valley flag and posed with Justin Thomas and two-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback Eli Manning, Fowler’s presumed playing partners.

Fowler has made three aces during PGA TOUR competition, most recently at the WM Phoenix Open last year.

It’s unknown how many aces Fowler has outside of professional competition, but you can add one more very memorable ace to that total.
