What began as great friends playing silly tunes on local television, radio, and random stages has snowballed into a wildly beloved musical comedy group playfully named “Bobby Bones & The Raging Idiots.” Comprised of Bobby Bones, Producer Eddie and a group of random friends, Bobby Bones & The Raging Idiots is a band that started for laughs, but now has the whole world singing and laughing with them.   The Raging Idiots started with Bobby in high school. And later as a fake opener for his solo comedy act. The “band” was reinvented again in 2014 for a single charity event for no more than 40 people. Soon after, they decided to do one more show for charity in Wichita, KS. When that show sold over 3,000 tickets it only increased their drive to continue to use humor and music to help communities.

Knowing they would never win a grammy for “group of the year” or “male vocalist”, they still knew they were on to something big. Since then, The Raging Idiots have performed nearly 40 shows raising more than $2 million dollars benefitting various charities.

Building on the unexpected success and popularity of their sound, Bobby Bones & The Raging Idiots signed to Black River Entertainment in May 2015.  In November of that year, they proudly released a six track digital EP for their youngest fans entitled The Raging Idiots Presents: The Raging Kidiots,    2016 has already kicked off in a major way.  Bobby Bones and The Raging Idiots released their debut single "If I Was Your Boyfriend" from their forthcoming full length musical comedy album. Additionally the video was exclusively premiered on CMT and  CMT.com .  

Live In Little Rock

Bobby Bones & The Raging Idiots  live album  Live In Little Rock  features the hit,  “The Target Song”  written by Bones and Jim Beavers. The project includes eight hilarious new cuts anchored by "comedic deliveries that blend, but don’t overshadow their actual, legitimate musical talent” (American Songwriter).

Live In Little Rock was recorded in Bones’ home state of Arkansas at a packed house on their recently wrapped “hot ticket” (Fresno Bee) tour,  It’s Just The Two Of Us…Sorry .  Live In Little Rock follows the success and popularity of their most recent  EP Live In Boston , which featured the witty and fun track  “Jesus Knows”  and  “Hobby Lobby Bobby.”

Bobby Bones & The Raging Idiots Announce 7th Million Dollar Show

Bobby Bones & The Raging Idiots announce the return of their Million Dollar Show on April 3rd, 2024 at the historic Ryman Auditorium. In addition to a performance from Bobby Bones & The Raging Idiots, the lineup for this year’s show also includes Sam Hunt , Jon Pardi , Megan Moroney , Nate Smith , Ben Rector , Mat Kearney , Ian Munsick , Edwin McCain as well as appearances from special guests. 

The BTEAM pre-sale will take place tomorrow, Feb. 27th and the BIG98 pre-sale will take place on Wednesday, Feb. 28th and Thursday, Feb. 29th, respectively. Tickets go on sale for the public starting Friday, March 1st at 10am CT and can be purchased here .

Bones as well as The Bobby Bones Show have raised over  $21.6 million dollars  for St. Jude, as well as funds for countless other charitable causes.

Absolutely one of the most phenominal shows ever!! So funny and the whole band so talented. Purchased meet and greet tickets and was thrilled to meet Bobby and Eddie. They are some of the nicest guys you could ever hope to meet.

Rising country stars Rainey Qualley and Kane Brown opened for Bobby Bones and The Raging Idiots and they both have magnificent talent.

They certainly set the tone for the talent to follow.

Accompanied by the incredible Natalie Stovall and Nikita King, vocals, band and the comedy was spot on! This is a class act that everyone should see. People of all ages where there along with children. Great fun for everyone!!

I was lucky to catch Bobby Bonds at the Iheart Country Music Festival in Austin. They were phenomenal! I think he spotted me wearing his “BTeam” shirt and pointed at me. I was the happiest girl in the world at that moment. Thank you Bobby for being so awesome!! Totally recommend the show. Can’t wait to see them in San Antonio later this year!!! ❤️

 February 2023 also marks 20 years of The Bobby Bones Show and 10 years since its relocation to Nashville and launch into the biggest nationally syndicated country radio show. The show broadcasts to millions of listeners around the country and has landed three Country Music Association Awards and four Academy of Country Music Awards. An avid supporter of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Bones as well as The Bobby Bones Show have raised over $21M for St. Jude, as well as funds for countless other charitable causes. 

 In addition to the upcoming Million Dollar Show, Bobby Bones & The Raging Idiots recently released a new song poking fun at the experience of being the opening band at a concert, titled “Opening Act,” alongside Lainey Wilson and Jordan Davis. Tonight Circle Network aired the never-before-seen on TV  Bobby Bones & The Raging Idiots’ 6th Annual Million Dollar Show special event.

Recorded live from the Ryman Auditorium in late February, the sixth annual benefit show features performances and appearances from a range of country music’s biggest stars, including  Dierks Bentley , Parker McCollum , Deana Carter , Randy Houser , Lady A’s Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood , Jake Owen , Morgan Evans ,  The Wreckers , and more including a special performance from Creed’s Scott Stapp . Also, in a touching moment, Kelley and Haywood will be joined on stage by  Addie Pratt , a country music fan and former St. Jude patient, who will perform “ The Woman That I Am ,” an original song she wrote with Kelley, Haywood, and producer Nathan Chapman.

The star-studded evening raised over $200,000 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital . The special also features an exciting moment where Bones was surprised with an award presented by Jake Owen and the St. Jude organization to recognize his ongoing support of the cause.  Bobby Bones and The Bobby Bones Show have raised a total of $22 million for the organization since 2014. 

“St. Jude is near and dear to my heart,” said Bones. “I’ve been putting together the Million Dollar Show for six years now and it’s always so great to see the country music community come together for such a great cause. Thank you to the Ryman for hosting us this year and thank you to all my country music friends who joined me on stage for this one!”
