The Tourist Inn can definitely be described as a "dive bar". But don't let that description undersell the amazing food, staff and owner of this facility. Over the years, I have come to find that the owner is such a wonderful woman. She also hires a great staff! Particularly Lacey and Amanda. The food is also very good, but unfortunately takes a while to be made. However, it is no problem to wait while doing one of their many games throughout the week! Trivia Night, Live Bands, BINGO, you name it!

Would give 0 stars if I could. Some staff gave my CC away to someone else, because I was upset about that, I got barred, for life. Not like I care, it's a shitty dive to begin with. But, if you cant own your mistakes then do not be mad when you get a bad tip. The best part, some skank put hands on me to kick me out "Brandon, never let this guy in here again" trust me, I will never want to go there again.

Never a dull moment at the Tourist Inn! The regulars treat you like a long lost friend the minute you walk in the door. There is a feeling of family between the owner, employees and patrons. Love it here. Best bar food this end of town and reasonably priced. Yummy yummy!

Selina makes the best pineapple upside-down cakes!

Ah the T.I. half A dive bar, but some of the cheapest drink prices in the area. You don't come here to dance and pick people up though. It is one of the best local places for bands though. Good place to just drink and catch a band. I give it a 4 for it's cheap drinks. I'd give it 3.5-4 due to the fact that I don't smoke, and it is a smoking bar. But, you know that before you get there.

Decent bar with great people and the food isn't bad either. They have numerous things going on at this location, to include bands. The only downfall is it is still a bar that allows smoking which is good for those who actually smoke.

Great dive bar full of good people, good food, & fairly priced booze. The owner of this place is an amazing woman.

When we visit the York, PA area to see our son, we try to make this a stop before we go to his home nearby. It's a biker bar primarily, but a lot of others go there as well. Nice people, both the workers and... customers. They do allow smoking, and at times it can get bad. They also feature live entertainment from local bands in a very large back room. The food is mostly appetizers, sandwiches, pizza's, wings and burgers at very reasonable prices and good. There is also a happy hour weekdays (5-7 p.m.) and Sunday (8-10 p.m.) with drink specials. The restaurant is officially in Hellam, PA, but you may find it listed as York which is just a few miles West of Hellam. They have a nice web site at http://touristinn.net/ I was very surprised that I could not find this business listed on Trip Advisor. More

I know this place is noted as a redneck biker bar with a bad reputation but we stopped on way back from Lancaster to York and was pleasantly surprised. Prices were normal bar and people were friendly. Bathrooms were clean. Only turnoff, the women's bathrooms... had curtains and not doors. More

Buyer beware this place is a dump and the crowd makes you feel very uncomfortable. Also, bar tender had her belly out, bare skin, all night it was very odd and once again uncomfortable. Won’t be going back.
