A dream trip to Norway, realised
This was our second visit to Hays, Darlington. On our first, Natalie helped us book a marvellous week's holiday in Madeira, but she also told us that Hays is not just for package holidays, that she could arrange bespoke travel of any kind. So we took her up on the challenge yesterday, arranging an open-jawed visit to Norway. In 30 minutes of interesting conversations, she booked our flights, accommodation & train travel, a diffuse dream future trip had been made concrete before our eyes. Natalie's own enthusiasm for travel is evident and her professionalism extends to listening carefully to clients' wishes and making them possible. We look forward to testing her again in the near future!

Excellent customer service.
My partner and I called into the travel agents yesterday and spoke to the assistant manager Lynden. We were initially just enquiring about a trip to Memphis and New Orleans next year. We found Lynden to be so helpful and knowledgeable we decided to book it there and then. Great customer experience. Keep up the good work Lynden and thank you for all your help and advise.

Brilliant customer service, I was served by a guy called lyndon he was very professional and pleasant and answered all my questions, in fact so good i booked our holiday there and then. I would definitely recommend him and the company.

Lynden was amazing, from messaging Hays to getting it all booked. I honestly cannot thank him for making it so easy. Would definitely recommend him and Hays for a holiday. Will definitely book with him again.

Excellent from start to finish
Natalie from Darlington branch was fantastic. Not only helping us with our existing booking for our upcoming wedding in vegas but also helping us to book our family holiday. Nothing was too much trouble she went out of her way to get us the best holiday for our budget and had lots of helpful travel tips on the locations we chose.

Cruise Not Price Matched
Was not happy price wasn't price matched so cruise ended up costing £380.00 more. After a couple of discussions Hays offered a goodwill gesture which was greatly appreciated.

i have never cruised before
i have never cruised before, so booking a cruise was a completely new & unique experience for me, i wasn't sure how to go on or what to expect, but from walking into hays, lynden put me & my friend completely at ease, he went through everything with us & even showed us via the brochure where we would be situated on the cruise & went through what would be available to us while sailing, from someone who was initially apprehensive & unsure, i can say i walked out feeling confident & totally 100% looking forward to my 1st cruising experience. thank you hays & definately thank you lynden ;)

Long distance travel
As la lone traveller Lynden at Hays was so helpful and reassuring about every part of my trip and gave me the confidence. All the arrangements worked out very well for me. Lynden was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and I will certainly use Hays Travel in future.

Mini break …
I went into hay's to book a mini break because they were excellent at booking my previous holiday, I was greeted by a trainee who was very smiley and helpful then passed on to Natalie who booked my break, she checked a couple of sights to save money, she really knows her job and is very professional while knowing how to chat with the customer too. Excellent customer service.

Great Service
I simply walked into the Darlington branch with a vague enquiry. The staff were welcoming and helpful, they guided me through how I could travel to Rotterdam. They booked flight trains and accommodation and took time to find a hotel in the area I wanted to be. I was there past closing time but Samantha just kept working until it was all in order. Fabulous service. I had been into the TUI shop just before and they made it clear that at 4 pm in the afternoon they were not interested in helping me.

Felt very deflated after spending time obtaining prices from various travel agents and choosing Hays (not the cheapest)and paying over £4000 for holiday.overhaul poor customer service experience.

Made booking holidays for this year easy and managed to find brilliant deals which I wasn’t able to find on my own. I went into the Darlington Branch and Chloe helped me to find a holiday in Italy and Crete later in the year. She asked me what kind of things I look for when planning holidays and was able to give great options then once I’d decided which destinations she looked into what the areas offer then found hotels based on my preferences. She was really helpful and made the experience easy and pleasant. She even went the extra mile to look into what each areas have to offer in terms of activities, transport links and things I’d like based on our conversation. Would give more stars if possible!

Excellent Travel Agent
It is many years since we had a foreign holiday and we were too unsure about what needed to be done to risk booking flights and hotels by ourselves. Hays were so helpful, very quickly understood exactly what we were hoping for and found us a perfect hotel in Alicante. Airflights, transport from the Airport to the hotel and Insurance was quickly sorted out. The Hays staff member was very pleasant, kind and understanding.

I booked two holidays and flights with Sophie at Hay's Darlington Branch. Sophie was extremely patient when meeting our needs for the New York holiday searching through a long list of preferable hotels and flights from specific airports. Sophie also provided quotes for a cruise to Norway with P&O and Fred Olsen. Again she was extremely helpful and patient. Booked the following week along with flights only to Amsterdam for a subsequent trip. Extremely pleased with the service received. I wouldn't book my holidays with any other travel company

Again, Grant took the booking. Excellent service.Attention to detail. Promotes confidence in Hay's services. Very patient and takes pains to ensure even the smallest details are understood. Would be better with a coffee machine on sight. More chairs needed for people waiting in busy times.
