“Small children (younger than 4 years old)”: Free for children younger than 4 years old. Ticket and proof of age required. There is no left luggage office available, in particular for strollers.

“RSA (earned income supplement) recipients”: Rate applied to French RSA (earned income supplement) recipients only, available at the Tower's ticket offices.

“Disabled individuals”: Rate for disabled individuals only applicable upon presentation of valid certificate. Access to the Summit and stairs is not permitted for individuals with reduced mobility.

How much does it cost to visit the eiffel tower.

To check the prices for the Eiffel Tower, please visit this page on the official Eiffel Tower site . The Eiffel Tower online ticket office provides the official prices. The adult price applies to adults 25 years and over.  There are discount rates for young people (12-24 years old), children (4-11 years old) and for those with disabilities. Admission is free for children under 4 years old. The price of the ticket varies upon how you go up (elevator and/or stairs) and the destination (2nd floor or the upper floor) you select. 

The desired visit date is not available, what should I do?

Certain days (weekends, days during peak season between July and August) are in high demand and we sell out quickly, especially for e-tickets for the top floor, which are the most popular. If you are flexible, select another date that is shown as available. The dates marked in orange indicate that the last tickets are available. Lined out or grayed out dates are no longer available. If there is no more online availability, note that tickets to visit the Eiffel Tower are also sold on site at the ticket offices at the monument. Regardless, we sell our tickets online up to 60 days in advance (for lift tickets) and 14 days in advance (for stairs tickets to second floor). If you can, plan your visit well in advance, so you will have the choice of date, destination and time.  

How many tickets can I buy?

On the online ticket shop, you can buy up to 9 tickets for the same order. Groups who want to buy tickets, regardless of the number, must use the ticket office site reserved for groups.

The Eiffel Tower’s online box office allows you to purchase your ticket online for the 2nd floor or the Summit at the official rate. You can purchase individual e-tickets for up to 9 people. Tickets can also be purchased several weeks in advance. With the e-ticket system, experience no lines! You will directly receive your ticket by e-mail so you can print it at home or store it on your smartphone. If e-tickets are sold out for the date/time or destination that you search, it is always possible to purchase tickets on the spot on the day of your visit.  At the scheduled hour, go directly to the lifts or stairs without having to wait at the ticket stands. There are mandatory security checks at the Eiffel Tower’s entrance and before entering one of the pillars.

The most walked glass floor in the world.

On 6th October 2014 the mayor of Paris inaugurated the newly renovated first floor of the Eiffel Tower, designed by Moatti & Rivière. One of the most crowd-pleasing element is the glass skywalk, engineered and constructed by Bellapart, which encircles the central opening of the tower giving a new perspective on the city of Paris.

The new floor allows visitors to walk 57 meters over the void and gradually increases transparency from the interior towards the central space providing an impressive experience.

The glass deck is composed of three layer low-iron laminated safety glass with an anti-slip dotted frit on the top surface and a typical dimension of 1.85 m x 0.7 m. The use of glass in such elements demanded thorough testing and structural redundancy.

The slightly inclined safety glass balustrade protects the interior perimeter and includes a hinge mechanism for cleaning both sides of the barrier and a serrated top edge to prevent climbing and birds. The refurbishment also incorporates the North and West lift shaft. The façades have a square base with round angles and follow the obliquity of the tower’s piers. Double curved glass was used to achieve the desired transparent surface. The substantial dimensions of the glass units and the confined work space required great skill and care in its installation.

The nature of the project implied significant constraints during the construction works. Since The Eiffel Tower is protected as a historical monument, welding to the existing structure was not allowed. Clip systems or bolted connections were employed to hold the new structures and special attention was taken to prevent the interference with the large number of existing rivets. On the other hand, during the works, the tower was never closed to the public.

Onde fica a Torre Eiffel e como chegar?

A Torre Eiffel fica na Avenida Anatole France de Paris, número 5, no 7° arrondissement . O monumento está localizado entre a margem esquerda do Rio Sena (Rive Gauche) e o Champ de Mars. Esse lugar é considerado o “coração” da capital francesa, pois é central e pode ser visto de vários pontos da cidade. Para chegar, é possível ir a pé, de metrô, trens RER ou ônibus .

Linhas do metrô de Paris para a Torre Eiffel

• Linha 6 – Estação Bir-Hakein: fica a menos de 10 minutos a pé da entrada 1, é a mais próxima
• Linha 8 – Estação École Militaire: fica a cerca de 15 minutos a pé
• Linha 9 – Estação Trocadero: fica a aproximadamente 15 minutos a pé

O metrô de Paris é bastante eficiente e conta com 14 linhas operativas. É importante estar com um mapa para se locomover. O horário de funcionamento é das 5h30 à 1h, de domingo a quinta, e das 5h30 às 2h15, sextas e sábados.

Linha RER Paris para a Torre Eiffel

A única linha de trem RER que chega à Torre Eiffel é a C, da Estação Champ de Mars/Tour Eiffel . Essa opção de transporte é um trem e você precisa andar apenas 5 minutos a pé. Essa é a distância da entrada 1.

Linhas de ônibus de Paris para a Torre Eiffel

• Linhas 82, 30 e 42 – Parada Tour Eiffel: fica a 5 minutos a pé da entrada 2
• Linhas 69 e 86 – Parada Champ de Mars: cerca de 7 minutos a pé da entrada 1
• Linha 72 – Parada Trocadero: está a aproximadamente 15 minutos a pé

O serviço de ônibus em Paris tem mais de 60 linhas durante o dia e 40 no período noturno. A desvantagem é a possível demora no deslocamento em horários de picos. O meio funciona de segunda a sábado, das 7h às 20h30 e as linhas principais seguem até 00h30.

Qual a altura da Torre Eiffel?

A Torre Eiffel tem 330 metros de altura , o que corresponde a um prédio de 81 andares . Ela tem 125 metros de cada lado na base e é a estrutura mais alta da capital francesa. No total, são 3 grandes compartimentos e o peso é de aproximadamente 10 toneladas.

O primeiro andar fica a 57 metros de altura e, para chegar até ele, são 327 degraus . Lá, são apresentadas várias curiosidades sobre a história da Torre Eiffel.

O segundo andar tem 116 metros, sendo que são 674 degraus . Oferece uma linda paisagem da cidade e tem vários mirantes que demonstram qual a altura da Torre Eiffel.

Já o topo tem 276 metros de altura e é acessado com um ingresso específico . Não é possível acessar essa parte por escada, apenas por elevador. Lá tem mirantes e uma réplica do escritório de Gustave Eiffel. É um espaço lindo para quem deseja fazer uma viagem de casal .

Qual é a história da Torre Eiffel?

A história da Torre Eiffel começa em 1889, quando o monumento foi construído para a então Exposição Universal . O evento celebrou o centenário da Revolução Francesa e consistiu em uma competição entre engenheiros e arquitetos. Ela deveria ter sido desmontada 20 anos depois, mas se tornou um símbolo de Paris.

O concurso foi aberto ainda em 1886 e tinha o objetivo de escolher o projeto de uma torre destinada à ocasião dos 100 anos da Revolução Francesa. O trabalho selecionado foi o da empresa de engenharia de Eiffel, que construiu a torre em ferro de forma temporária.

Durante a obra, muitas críticas foram feitas, mas ela foi inaugurada em 1889. Gustave Eiffel fez várias modificações, que fizeram do local um símbolo da potência industrial da França. Também foram adicionadas funcionalidades, como observações astronômicas e meteorológicas, instalação de antenas para transmissões de rádio etc.

Atualmente, há 120 antenas instaladas na Torre. Elas transmitem a programação de 32 estações de rádio e 30 canais de TV.

Como é a visita à Torre Eiffel?

A visita à Torre Eiffel pode ser feita de 4 maneiras diferentes: apenas o térreo ou subindo 1, 2 ou os 3 andares . O mais comum é ir ao primeiro e ao segundo andar. Já o terceiro depende das condições climáticas, por isso, nem sempre está aberto. O local ainda conta com restaurantes, mirantes e lojas para comprar lembranças.

Se você quiser visitar todos os andares, vale a pena chegar cedo para ter bastante tempo disponível, porque são cerca de 4 horas de passeio. Para o tour completo, você deve passar pelo térreo (esplanada), jardim, mirantes do primeiro e do segundo andar, mirante do topo e restaurantes.

No jardim, há o chamado perímetro de segurança. Para visitá-lo, não é necessário ter ingresso. Mas, se você entrar, terá que passar pelo raio-X e detector de metal, e é proibido carregar malas ou mochilas grandes. Também há duas entradas, uma a leste e outra a sul.

A Esplanada (Le Parvis) conta com elevadores de acesso, lanchonetes, lojas de souvenirs, guichê de informações e bilheterias. Os pilares que sustentam a Torre Eiffel estão no térreo e você pode ver o busto de Gustave Eiffel no pilar norte. Também é possível ver o maquinário dos elevadores, que é centenário.

Primeiro andar

Oferece várias opções de compras, espaços para descanso e alimentação. Apesar disso, é ignorado por muitos turistas. O piso é transparente e tem a chamada Trilha da Descoberta, que consiste em um espaço interativo com várias curiosidades sobre a Torre Eiffel. Ali, você também vê a escadaria espiral usada por Gustave Eiffel.

Segundo andar

É o andar a que todos os ingressos dão acesso. Oferece uma bela paisagem nos seus dois mirantes, loja de souvenir, lanchonete e uma loja de macaron.
