The M62 motorway is a major eastwest transportation route through Northern England, connecting Liverpool, Manchester and Hull. It starts at the junction of the M60 and the M62 near Manchester, and terminates at Clifton, near Brighouse in West Yorkshire. It was built between 1964 and 1976.

Safety on the M62 has historically been a concern, with the road having a higher than average number of fatalities and serious injuries. In 2004, the Highways Agency set up a safety scheme on the M62 known as Operation Edgeware, which resulted in a reduction of fatalities and serious injury accidents by around 50%.

In recent years the M62 has seen several improvements in safety, including the introduction of dedicated hard shoulder running systems and an Automated Incident Detection System. In the 2016/17 financial year statistics indicate that the road saw a total of 408 accidents resulting in personal injury, of which 43 resulted in fatalities.

Information: Very heavy congestion on M62 Eastbound at Junction 20 due to workforce on the road. Down to one lane out of four. Best to turn off and look for an alternative route.

WITHOUT a doubt. the people who the overhead gantry signs in the greater Manchester are the most incompetent lot of articles i have ever come across. Take W/E 15 17 OCT. I tried to get home from A627M from the ROYTON ROUNDABOUT. about midnight on 15/10/2021. i found the whole roundabout down to one lane the slip road entrance to the A627M was blocked off . AS USUAL no warnings of any sort of the SIGNS on THE MOTORWAY M62 EAST or anywhere else. LAST FRIDAY 22/2021 IT GOT WORST driving from J17 WHITEFIELD TO J20 EAST i went of the M62 to the roundabout expecting to travel along the A 627M TO OLDHAM i found the entrance to the A627M OLDHAM was blocked off. not one warning sign on the M60 OR M62 EAST. it got worse on my way home from ROYTON i found the entrance to the A627M TOWARDS J20 WEST blocked off. it was about midnight. So PICKED UP THE M62 WEST AT HEYWOOD. on my way home to J17 at WHITEFIELD. guest what J17 SLIP ROAD WAS CLOSED. not one warning sign was lit up i was trying to get home to WHITEFIELD. The people of PRESTWITCH AND WHITEFIELD has suffer 6 years of misery while these motorways were turned into smart motorways. it is still going on. some of it was caused by the people giving out the info of the motorway closures . they caused chaos with misleading information caused accidents when they put out warning signs -motorways closed when they were open. motorways open A ND when motorways open when they were closed. Take J17 M60 EAST/WEST it has been the most shut down than any other part of the whole motorway system most cases no warning signs on these clever brightly lit matrix information. EVEN now i travel the M60/M62 EAST WEST and what do i see. warnings signs lit up telling people of roadworks ahead on M1 M6 hundreds of miles away from my area when they can not even tell us what is happening in the local area. a few weeks ago i went east from J17 TO J20 about 9pm as i past J18 the overhead gantries were lit up warning drivers to slow down, as there were 3 lanes closed it showed 3 lanes with red crosses on eveybody slowed down. a queue formed. A couple of miles down the road the 3 lanes were never shut down. The bloody warning signs had been left on from an earlier incident do you see what i am getting at ANYHOW whose bothered hundreds of millions of pounds has been spent on these motorways. it is only taxpayers money no one regulates how it is spent. if these things keep happening it does not matter there is plenty more money where thay comes from/

M62 Junctions 25 to 30 Dynamic Hard Shoulder enhancements

We are upgrading dynamic hard shoulder motorways – starting with the central reservation barriers

Latest updates

  • Related road projects

Main work completed - Autumn 2023

Our main work on the M62 junctions 25 to 30 is complete although we were able to remove the traffic management earlier, in September, reducing the impact on drivers.

We have some outstanding work which includes signage updates and painting; to complete this we will work overnight when the motorway is less busy, using lane closures. There will be minimal disruption for customers; this work is weather dependant and will be scheduled in shortly.

We would like to thank drivers for their patience while we delivered this programme of essential safety enhancements, on the M62.

Rescheduled weekend overnight closures - now set for 5 and 6 August

We have rescheduled two overnight closures for safety improvements after heavy rain last weekend led to cancellation. These closures are so we can complete work to upgrade lighting and install new, upgraded CCTV cameras. We will be closing the motorway in both directions between junctions 27 (Gildersome) and 28 (Tingley), overnight (9pm to 6am) on both 5 and 6 August. Fully-signed diversions will be in place, agreed with the local authority. There will also be extra signs for wide loads with instructions on where to park and get assistance to proceed. A separate scheme of work to upgrade barriers on the central reservation between junctions 28 and 29 of the M62 is due to continue until August, with a further upgrade between junction 42 of the M1 near Lofthouse and junction 6 of the M621 in Leeds expected to complete in winter. Follow @HighwaysYORKS on Twitter or visit www.trafficengland.com  for real time updates on traffic conditions or incidents.

Overnight closures - CCTV

Our work delivering Dynamic Hard Shoulder enhancements between junctions 25 and 30 of the M62 is coming to an end.

We're carrying out work on the CCTV between junctions 25 and 30 overnight during the weekend of :-

  • 15 July 9pm - 6am
  • 16 July 9pm - 6am

We will then return to complete verge work such as grass seeding, under lane closures.

Work to complete the installation of new barriers on the central reservation between junctions 28 and 30, M62 continues. You can find more information about this work here

From next week (commencing Monday 12 December), we are installing a new emergency area on the eastbound carriageway. This will improve overall safety on the network. This work is due to be completed by early summer 2023.

On the westbound carriageway, between junctions 26 (Chain Bar) and 28, we are also carrying out drainage upgrades on the verges. This section of work is expected to be completed by the end of January 2023.

To enable engineers to carry out this work safely, temporary speed limits are being put in place on the motorway between junctions 26 and 28. A 60mph limit will be in place while the emergency area is being installed on the eastbound carriageway, with a 50mph limit on the westbound carriageway where the drainage improvements are taking place.

This is the latest step in the series of upgrade schemes have been taking place on the motorways including the M62 across West Yorkshire in 2022.

November update

The traffic management has now been taken off on the central reservation following the completion of phase 1 of the project.

We will shortly be moving to a new phase of the project. This means that we will be adding traffic management to the route again. This work will move further east between junction 28 (Tingley) and 29 (Lofthouse),and is due to finish in Autumn 2023.

The date for this work to start has not yet been confirmed. As soon as we have finalised plans, we will let you know.

We are also finalising plans for other essential upgrade work between junctions 27 (Gildersome) and 26 (Chain Bar). This will include a new emergency area, drainage upgrades and new CCTV.

To minimise disruption to road users, we have taken the decision to remove the traffic management for the weeks leading up to phase 2 of the project.

Some elements of the M62 work are part of a series of enhancements that we're making across the country on more than 60 miles of Dynamic Hard Shoulder (DHS) motorways, where the hard shoulder is used by traffic in busy periods.

We will be moving to a new phase of this project.

In December, this work will move further east between junction 28 (Tingley) and 29 (Lofthouse),and is due to finish in September 2023. Some traffic management will remain in place at junction 27 for additional bridge repairs.

We're also taking the opportunity to remind drivers of the progress made so far – and provide an update about the works about to start. This includes:

  • Work ongoing to repair a bridge at junction 27 of the M62 (Gildersome). This is due to be completed by the beginning of November, with traffic management completely removed from the central reserve in both directions by the middle of the month.
  • Work starting in December on changing a 2.8-mile section of steel reservation barrier to concrete and installing energy efficient LED lights on the M62 between junction 28 (Tingley) and 29 (Lofthouse).
  • Essential waterproofing work is set to begin on two bridges that carry the M62 over Tingley Interchange at Junction 28. This work protects the bridge joints and structure from rainwater damage, reducing the need for emergency repairs in the future.  To carry this out safely, the eastbound bridge section of the M62 at Junction 28 will be closed from 8pm on Friday 28 October until 5am on Monday 31 October.
  • Plans are being finalised for other essential upgrade work and maintenance schemes on the M62 between junctions 27 (Gildersome) and 26 (Chain Bar). This will include drainage upgrades and renewed CCTV in the verges of the westbound carriageway. This will be higher specification CCTV, repositioned to provide even better coverage. There will also be a new emergency area on the eastbound carriageway, along with drainage improvements and new CCTV. The date of this work will be confirmed shortly. Further phases of this particular piece of work are expected to begin in January 2023, with the upgrade due to be complete in summer 2023.
  • In addition to these works on the M62, work also started in September to replace more than two miles of steel central barrier with concrete on the M1 between junction 42 (Lofthouse) and 43 (Belle Isle), and on the M621 near junction 7 (Stourton).

Progress update

We are now moving into the final stages of our safety upgrade.

We have installed a new concrete safety barrier to replace the steel one which was approaching the end of its design life. The new barriers have a much longer design life and are less likely to need repair after an impact . These factors contribute to reducing costs, improving traffic flow and limit the need for maintenance lane closures - greatly improving overall safety.

Whilst doing this work we have also installed modern efficient LED street lights. These lights need to be replaced less often and use less electricity.

We will be updating again on the progress of our works mid-October.

travel news m62 junction 26

Update - April 2022

We are in the early stages of the road works, and the traffic management is still being established.

A 50mph speed limit will be in place to protect the travelling public and the workforce while this is being implemented. If an incident occurs the speed limit can be reduced to 40mph for safety reasons. Average speed cameras will be in use.

In periods when we are not working, such as over the Jubilee Bank Holiday weekend, the speed limit will be increased to 60mph.

Work starts to upgrade barriers

Work to upgrade safety barriers along busy sections of motorway will get underway in April 2022.

The M62 around junction 27 at Gildersome will have its steel central reservation barrier upgraded to concrete.

The work is part of a series of safety enhancements we are bringing to dynamic hard shoulder motorways across the country.

Christmas Gifts 2022

travel news m62 junction 26

Project information

The barrier upgrade has been developed as part of our work to upgrade Dynamic Hard Shoulder motorways to the latest safety standard.

On 15 April 2023 the Government announced that plans for new smart motorways would be cancelled in recognition of the lack of public confidence felt by drivers and cost pressures. This follows an announcement in January 2022 to pause new smart motorways.

Plans to convert these sections of motorway to the latest All Lane Running standard have been cancelled. In the Government's response to the 2021 Transport Select Committee report into smart motorways it committed to consider alternative ways in which to operate dynamic hard shoulder motorways.

The Government and National Highways continue to invest £900 million in further safety improvements on existing smart motorways, and to give motorists clear advice when using existing smart motorways.

We are installing further safety measures for DHS motorways in operation, including upgrading the central reservation barrier.

Work will get underway this month in Yorkshire on a 1.7-mile section of the M62 between junctions 26 at Chain Bar and 28 at Tingley. Construction starts on 19 April and is expected to be complete in the Autumn

Three lanes will remain open to traffic, with lane 4 closed and lane 3 slightly narrowed. There will be a reduced 50mph speed limit while work is being carried out. Occasional overnight closures will be needed, which will have fully signed diversion routes in place

We will do all we can to keep disruption to a minimum, but we expect that delays could be severe at peak times, so we are encouraging drivers to plan their journeys to avoid peak times if possible.

Concrete barriers are even stronger than metal ones and significantly reduce the risk of vehicles crossing over from one carriageway to another, improving safety and reducing the duration of incident-related congestion.

They are also virtually maintenance free and will last twice as long as normal metal barriers, with far less need for closures for routine repairs.

Why Go To Moscow

Moscow's opulence and high culture is a sight to be seen. Forget what you learned about Russia in grade school. This lavish capital of a formerly communist nation has fully embraced the luxuries, excesses and decadence of Western capitalism. Like many former Soviet countries, Mother Russia struggles to successfully confront issues of widespread poverty, alcoholism, failing healthcare, and environmental protection. But Moscow has burgeoned into one of the most expensive, exclusive and largest travel destinations in the world. It comes complete with world-class museums, magnificent palaces, $1,000-a-night hotels, "face-control" nightclubs and internationally-renowned restaurants. Don't think you can afford Moscow? Don't be afraid. You can still find affordable deals if you are vigilant. This metropolis has a big and bold character and grandiose setting that's definitely worth getting to know.

Moscow Travel Tips

Best months to visit.

The best time to visit Moscow is April and May, when the temperature creeps into the 50s and 60s, the sun begins to shine for significant portions of the day, and hotel rates have yet to skyrocket into peak ranges. Of course, the golden period is summer, when the city is warm and bustling. But if you want to (slightly) spare yourself from the perpetually expensive rates, try the shoulder seasons in the spring and early fall. Preferably spring, since fall experiences more rainfall and less sunlight. Winters are brutally cold, but this is when you'll get a true glimpse into the Moscow experience (A frost-bitten walk through Red Square seems to intensify the historical significance of this great capital city).

Weather in Moscow

Data sourced from the National Climatic Data Center

What You Need to Know

A little Russian English is spoken only in major hotels and restaurants, and you'll find mostly Russian speakers in the less tourist-heavy areas. American visitors also struggle with the Cyrillic spellings and pronunciations. Practice some key Russian phrases on the long flight over.

A little tipping Unlike most other European cities, tipping (five to 10 percent) in restaurants is the custom.

A lot of vodka This Russian drink of choice (yes, they usually consume it straight) is found at any bar. But if you wish to taste it and learn about its origins, the Moscow Distillery Cristall is your best bet.

How to Save Money in Moscow

If it seems too good to be true It probably is. Take that proverb to heart in Moscow, and don't expect the Czarist medal you purchased off a street vendor to be worth anything more than a good memory.

If you're oblivious on the subway You'll probably leave several rubles lighter. Pickpockets prey on unsuspecting foreigners in crowded places, particularly metro cars. Beware!

If you're not scared of the dark You may be able to handle Moscow's long nights in fall, winter and spring, when hotels offer the lowest rates. December sees an average of 18 hours of sunlight … in total.

Culture & Customs

English is spoken in major hotels and restaurants, but you'll find mostly Russian speakers in the less tourist-heavy areas, such as at the market or in small inns. Some helpful Russian greetings include the informal hello (pronounced, pri-VET ); the formal hello ( Zdravst-vwee-tye ); the informal goodbye ( pah-KAH ); and the formal goodbye ( Dah svih-DA-nee-ye ). To thank someone, say " Spas-EE-ba ."

What to Eat

Traditional Russian fare focuses on hearty meat dishes and cold soup, a particularly Russian specialty. But don't arrive in Moscow thinking you'll experience only the old cuisine. Russia's new personality has been accompanied by a lavish taste for international cuisine, especially Asian food. Sushi and Asian fusion restaurants are among the most popular in the city, and other dining options include American and Italian cuisine. Eating out, like everything in Moscow, can be very expensive, but you can find cheaper restaurants in shopping centers and areas outside the city center.

Stay alert for pickpockets when using public transport and when visiting the main tourist sites. Many an unsuspecting traveler has been relieved of some rubles on the Moscow Metro and near Red Square. Also, make sure to exercise extra caution when leaving bars and clubs at night.

There have been cases of corrupt police asking for random fines -- if this occurs, get the officer's number and name and ask to go to the police station with him or her.

Getting Around Moscow

The best way to get around Moscow is the metro. Faster and more efficient than the trolley buses and trams, this extensive system has stations that contain beautiful ornamentation, sculptures and mosaics. You could rent a car, but it's best to use public transportation to avoid the city's perpetually congested roads. Plus, street signs are all in Russian. In fact, English signs are nonexistent in the public transit system as well, so it's best to quickly get familiar with a map. Most travelers arrive through Moscow's Sheremetyevo International Airport (SVO), but there are several other airports that serve the metro area. Several buses and a metro line shuttle airport travelers to and from downtown.

Entry & Exit Requirements

Acquiring a visa to travel in Russia is a bit more complicated and expensive than visiting other countries. Every foreign traveler entering Russia must have a Russian-based sponsor (like a hotel, tour company, university or relative). In addition to a valid U.S. passport, you must also obtain a travel visa from a Russian embassy or consulate prior to arriving in Russia. If you plan to stay in Russia for more than seven days, you have to register your visa and migration card (the white paper document given by the border police on first entry to Russia) with the Federal Migration Service. Visas can cost anywhere from $160 to $250 per person, depending on the length of your stay. For more information on entry and exit requirements, visit the U.S. State Department website .

March 24 Moscow concert hall attack

By Heather Chen , Andrew Raine , Catherine Nicholls, Antoinette Radford, Maureen Chowdhury and Kathleen Magramo , CNN

Here's what we know about the four suspects in the Moscow concert hall attack

From CNN’s Masha Angelova and Josh Pennington

Suspects in the shooting attack at the Crocus City Hall concert venue, from left: Saidakrami Murodali Rachabalizoda, Shamsidin Fariduni, Dalerdzhon Mirzoyev, and Muhammadsobir Fayzov.

Each of the four defendants charged with committing a terrorist act in the Crocus City concert hall attack was brought to court individually in Moscow on Sunday.

They are accused of committing a crime under part 3, provision “b” of article 205 of the Russian Criminal Code (terrorist act), which the Russian Criminal Code states is punishable with up to life imprisonment.

Three pled guilty to all charges, according to state media news agency TASS .

Here's what we know about the accused:

  • Dalerdzhon Mirzoyev: The 32-year-old was the first defendant brought to court. Mirzoyev, from Tajikistan, had a temporary registration for three months in the southern Russian city of Novosibirsk in Siberia, but it expired, according to RIA Novosti.
  • Saidakrami Rachabalizoda: He appeared as the second defendant, and told the the court that he had Russian registration documents but couldn't remember where they were. He communicated through an interpreter, according to state media RIA Novosti. Rachabalizoda was reportedly born in 1994.
  • Shamsidin Fariduni: He was born in 1998 in Tajikistan and is a citizen of the Central Asian country. Fariduni was officially employed at a factory in the Russian city of Podolsk and was registered in the city of Krasnogorsk, according to state media RIA Novosti.
  • Muhammadsober Faizov: The fourth defendant appeared nonresponsive in a wheelchair and was accompanied by a doctor to his court appearance, as seen in Moscow City Court’s video shared on Telegram. Faizov was temporarily unemployed, before which he worked in a barber shop in Ivanovo, a city northeast of Moscow, and is registered in that city, according to state media RIA Novosti. He was reportedly born in 2004.

This post has been updated with more information on the charges against the suspects.

Moscow court orders preventive detention for all four defendants in concert hall attack case

A suspect is escorted before a court hearing at the Basmanny district court in Moscow, Russia March 24.

The Basmanny District Court of Moscow on Sunday granted the investigators’ motion for detention, as the chosen preventative measure, for all four defendants in the Crocus City Hall attack case.

All four men have been remanded into pre-trial detention until May 22, stated Moscow City Court via Telegram.

They are all charged with committing a terrorist act, according to the courts of general jurisdiction of the city of Moscow, which under the Russian Criminal Code is punishable up to life imprisonment.

Each of the four defendants was brought to court individually on Sunday.

Three pled guilty to all charges, according to state media news agency TASS.

The names of the four accused in the case are Dalerdzhon Mirzoyev, Saidakrami Rachabalizoda, Shamsidin Fariduni and Mukhammadsobir Faizov, Moscow City Courts announced via Telegram.

All four are from Tajikistan, a former Soviet republic, and have been in Russia on either temporary or expired visas.

The court held closed hearings for each of the accused with no members of the public allowed, TASS reported, citing the court’s press service.

2 defendants identified in Crocus City Hall attack

From CNN’s Masha Angelova, Michael Bodenhorst and Josh Pennington

The first defendant in the Crocus City concert hall attack case, Dalerdzhon Mirzoyev, has pleaded guilty on all counts, the press service of Moscow City Court told state media RIA Novosti.

He will be held in preventive custody at least through May 22.

Mirzoyev is one of two defendants implicated in the attack who are facing possible life imprisonment, as reported by state media.

The suspects — Mirzoyev and Saidakrami Rachabalizoda — appeared in a Moscow court on Sunday on charges related to the attack.

Both individuals are accused of committing a terrorist act and could be sentenced to life imprisonment, according to state media outlet RIA Novosti. The prosecution has requested detention as a precautionary measure for both defendants.

Authorities have petitioned the court to conduct Mirzoyev's hearing behind closed doors to safeguard the integrity of the proceedings, state media news agency TASS reported.

Crocus City Hall killings are deadliest since Beslan school siege — these are some other recent attacks in Russia

From CNN Staff

Emergency services are seen on the scene of the deadly 2017 metro blast in St. Petersburg.

The attack on Moscow's popular Crocus City Hall that left at least 133 dead has become the deadliest attack in Russia since the Beslan school siege in 2004.

Some other recent attacks include:

  • September 26, 2022 : Eleven children and four adults were killed when a gunman wearing Nazi symbols opened fire at a school in the western Russian city of Izhevsk. The shooter, who was reportedly wearing a black T-shirt with Nazi insignia and a helmet, died by suicide following the attack.
  • April 3, 2017 : At least 11 people were killed in a blast on the St. Petersburg metro. The explosion tore through a train as it was traveling between two stations in Russia’s second-largest city.
  • October 31, 2015 : A Russian passenger jet, Metrojet Flight 9268 crashed  on October 31 after departing from the Egyptian resort of Sharm el-Sheikh,  killing all 224 people  on board. US intelligence analysis suggested that ISIS or its affiliates  planted a bomb on the plane .
  • December 30, 2013 : A massive explosion at a train station in the Russian city of Volgograd killed at least 16 people, including one police officer, the Investigative Committee of Russia said.
  • January 25, 2011 : A suicide bomber attacked Domodedovo Airport , Moscow's busiest airport, killing 35 people and wounding about 100, authorities and state television said.
  • March 29, 2010 : Two explosions rocked the subway stations in central  Moscow during rush hour, killing at least 38 people and wounding more than 60 others, spawning widespread public outrage. A website associated with Chechen separatists, who have long fought for independence from Russia, claimed responsibility for the attacks.

Rescuers, robotic systems and canine teams are currently on site of Crocus City concert hall

From CNN’s Darya Tarasova and Eve Brennan

More than 300 “specialists” and 154 pieces of equipment are currently on site at the Crocus City concert hall in Krasnogorsk, Moscow region, where a deadly attack took place Friday , Russia’s Ministry of Emergency Situations said on Telegram on Sunday.

The ministry said more than 400 cubic meters of structures had been dismantled by rescuers while specialized robotic systems, canine teams and psychologists from the ministry continue to work.

More than 1,600 calls have already been received on the department’s hotline, the ministry added.

The post was accompanied by a video showing dozens of emergency workers digging through the rubble of the partially burned-down concert hall.

Remember : At least 137 people died on Friday after attackers opened fire on civilians at the Crocus City concert hall, and set the building ablaze. The Islamic State group, also known as ISIS, has claimed the attack and  released graphic footage  purporting to show the incident.

Putin lit a candle in memory of victims of the concert hall attack

From CNN's Eve Brennan and Anna Chernova

In this photo from the Kremlin, Russian President Vladimir Putin lights a candle in memory of victims of the Crocus City Hall attack, at the Novo-Ogaryovo residence in the Moscow region, on March 24.

Russian President Vladimir Putin lit a candle Sunday in memory of victims of the deadly attack at the Crocus City concert hall in Moscow region on Friday.

Putin also expressed deep condolences following the Moscow shooting, calling it a "barbaric terrorist act" in a video statement released Saturday.

More background: The deadly attack comes barely a week after Putin secured his fifth presidential term. The large-scale attack is damaging for a leader who portrays himself as someone able to guarantee order.

Death toll in concert hall attack rises to 137 — including 3 children, Russian Investigative Committee says

From CNN's Darya Tarasova

The Russian Investigative Committee has updated the death toll in the Crocus City attack to 137.

In a statement released online, the committee said "the bodies of 137 people have been found at the site of the terrorist attack, three of which are children."

The committee added that 62 bodies have been identified so far.

"For the remaining victims, genetic examinations are being carried out to establish their identities," the statement said. "The investigation of the crime scene continues."

Russian Embassy in US says it did not receive notification of impending terrorist attack

From CNN’s Katya Krebs in Moscow and Eve Brennan in London

The Russian flag flies in front of the country's embassy in Washington, DC, on February 16.

The Russian Embassy in Washington says it did not receive any warnings about a potential terror attack in Moscow from the US, Ambassador to the United States Anatoly Antonov told Russian state news agency RIA Novosti on Sunday.

The US diplomatic mission had warned Americans to “avoid large gatherings” at the beginning of March due to reports “that extremists have imminent plans to target large gatherings in Moscow.”

Earlier this week Putin had dismissed those warnings, telling the FSB that the embassy warnings were "provocative" and "outright blackmail."

“We did not receive any notifications or messages in advance,” Antonov told RIA.

“We paid attention to this, but,… I had no contacts with either the White House or the State Department on this issue,” he added.

In light of Friday’s attack at Crocus, Antonov told RIA Novosti that contacts between the US and the Russian Federation in the fight against terrorism have been “destroyed,” adding that the fault was not Moscow’s.

“I always reminded the Americans that our president was the first who, in 2001, extended his hand to the Americans and declared his readiness to provide help. And something worked, it worked... and it’s not our fault that all of this has been destroyed today,” he said.
