The Eftalia Aqua Resort

Firstly Hays Travel offered us a holiday believed to be suitable for our family party of 14 which we accepted at face value. The Eftalia Aqua Resort is very much like Butlins in the heat. Vast amounts of families so the facilities were not for the faint hearted. The main restaurant was chaotic with what appeared families trying to eat as much as they could. Rooms were clean but very noisy as the walls were paper thin. Many families were quite rowdy. In fact at 2 a.m one morning there was a fight in reception!! Drinks were ok but expensive in evening on the island resort. Whilst I am negative about the resort us as a family party made the most of it. Needless to say we would never venture back. But that is just our own opinion

Dealing with hays was the easiest holiday I’ve ever booked and the person that served me Chloe saved me a absolute fortune I normally book self catering however chloe managed to get me a deal for 5 days half board for less that £20 extra would 100% recommend hays south sea’s Portsmouth

Problem quickly solved.

Booked the seats on 22/01/2024 for our holiday on 8th May but on picking up the boarding passes on 27/04/2024 Tui had for some reason changed the seats. Called into Hays travel on 29/04/2024 and saw Megan who sorted it all out within 30 minutes and contacted me to say the new boarding passes for the chosen seats were ready for collection. First class service again - thanks Megan.

Outstanding Customer Care

I emailed Becky at Hays Cruise on Saturday evening to request a quote for a P&O Med fly cruise. Within minutes, Becky responded with the costs! Sunday morning, Becky rang me to complete the booking & it was nice to have a chat about past & future cruises too! As ever, outstanding customer care from Becky - many thanks! If you are considering a cruise, book through Hays as they provide, by far, the best customer care from beginning to end. Highly recommended 👍

We are going on our first cruise and…

We are going on our first cruise and found the staff member knowledgeable, having recently returned from a trip on the ship we were booking. The booking process was straightforward and booking confirmation printed out straight away. She told us she would arrange our coach travel the following day ( it was close to closing time on a Sunday afternoon! ) however later that day I noticed an email confirming our coach had already been booked.

Professional and takes time to listen

Came in to the Rayleigh branch on a Saturday afternoon asking for a villa holiday in portugual for May for 2 adults. David took his time and expertise to find us a villa including car hire. Nothing was too much trouble even making sure that the car company would insure a 70yr old. I had been trying to book a villa on line with several companies without success. So refreshing to.leave it with a professional.

Outstanding Service

Having booked a number of holidays through Gemma and her team at Hays Hucknall over the last 5 years, I can safely say they always go above and beyond. There have been multiple times now where the teams creativity and know-how has saved us over a thousand pounds on a holiday. Thank you, and keep up the great work!

Destination anywhere..

We had no destination in mind but the lady helped us find a week away, practically on the beach, for a great price. We have never been to the destination before and when we told people where we are going, everyone said it's an amazing place and location. My partner had his tick list and the holiday she found for us ticked everything!!!

A fantastic service

We received a fantastic service from Amy. Nothing was too much trouble for her, she was patient and efficient and arranged a tailored holiday for us that met all of our requirements. Due to unforeseen circumstances we had to alter our holiday dates at very short notice and Amy dealt with this issue very quickly, and without any fuss, which we really appreciated. While we were away we had a couple of quite serious problems (not created by Hays), and, once again, the support we received from Amy and some of her colleagues was brilliant. Thank you so much!

I have been having a nightmare trying to find a 2 bedroom apartment after a lot web browsing, so my Husband and I popped into our local branch. We dealt with Ryan and he was excellent!
