I previously worked at Miki Travel (The Vintners Place office) within IT and it's a pretty cool place to work. Whilst not at the bleeding edge of technology they were pretty easy going, fun to work for, the location was great (walks / runs along the Thames at lunch) and there's an on-site gym in the basement - complete with pool. Management can be a little overbearing on occasions but nothing out of the ordinary and certainly nothing like other places I've worked. But, on the flip side, the people are good people and I've made some good friends there, that I still pop in and see when I'm in town. I'd have no problem recommending a friend to work there. Oh, and there's a cracking coffee shop in the building foyer (not run by Miki Travel) for those moments when you need to get away from your desk.
