Rihanna's Mega 2024 Comeback World Tour: Dates, Tickets And More
23 October 2023, 13:30 | Updated: 24 October 2023, 11:26
By Abbie Reynolds
The Rihanna drought has been a long one but get out your Umbrella 'ellas because RiRi is reportedly planning a major comeback with a world tour and two new albums! Here's everything we know so far.
Listen to this article
We haven't had a new Rihanna album since 'ANTI' in 2016 but she remerged in the music scene when she dropped her first song in six years ' Lift Me Up ' for Black Panther 2: Wakanda Forever.
This year the 'Needed Me' singer's Super Bowl performance became the most-watched halftime show ever. It was her first live performance in more than five years and she took the opportunity to reveal she was pregnant with her's and A$AP Rocky's second child.

As we near the end of 2023 fans are wondering - will 'R9' come this year, or in 2024? Well, despite Rihanna recently giving birth to her second son Riot Rose, it has been reported that she is gearing up for the comeback of a lifetime. RiRi insiders have since shut down the reports, saying 'no tour has been confirmed', but that won't stop the Navy manifesting a tour from their idol.
Even as a mum-of-two the Work doesn't stop, so it wouldn't surprise us if RiRi does announce a tour. Here's everything you need to know about the rumours on RiRi's mega return, including reports of a highly-anticipated world tour.
Will Rihanna be going on a world tour in 2024?
After reports claimed Rihanna's signed a multi-million pound deal with Live Nation, insiders close to the singer shut down the speculation saying: "No tour has been confirmed for Rihanna.”
It comes after sources claimed that she was planning an international tour in 2024 and 2025.
The deal with the entertainment company Live Nation "was created to facilitate a world tour," an insider told The Mirror .
"Her creative team is quietly at work in Los Angeles putting it all together as she raises her family. She’ll press play on the live show once she’s ready to go back to work,” it was said.
How to get tickets to Rihanna's world tour
In October it was claimed that the star had signed a mega deal with Live Nation. So far, Live Nation have not gone public with any tour dates or planned ticket sales but they will be our first point of call for any updates.
Rihanna and her long-term boyfriend A$AP Rocky welcomed their second son Riot into their lives in August so it might be later into 2024 than we'd like before she returns to stage. A newborn and a tour might even been too much for a powerhouse superstar like RiRi.
As soon as more information on Rihanna's tour and how to get tickets is available, we'll update this page!

When was Rihanna's last world tour?
Rihanna's last tour was The ANTI world tour in 2016 which started in March in Florida, Jacksonville and ended in November in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
The 'ANTI' tour was the artist's seventh concert tour and was in support of her eighth studio album ANTI. Only Big Sean accompanied RiRi as a support act on her UK/Europe dates of the tour after The Weekend pulled out last minute. For her North America dates Rihanna had Travis Scott as her special guest.
The tour started just after her song 'Work' with Drake hit No.1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and she surprised fans across the world by bringing him onto stage to perform with her.
Rihanna shares sweet footage of her son
After teasing new music for years, Rihanna is currently sitting on an abundance of new tunes the insider continued: "[She] has two albums’ worth of material to release once she’s back.”
Rihanna's fandom pushed a theory a few years ago suggesting Rihanna's comeback could actually be a double album. With news that she has two albums' worth of material this theory could be coming true - now that would be quite the Rihanna revival.
After her Super Bowl performance this year she said she was "excited to actually put new music out" but she didn't have any updates - maybe this excitement could spur the new mum to get back into it sooner rather than later.
Since her album hiatus the star has featured on a PARTYNEXTDOOR song 'Believe It', as well as releasing music for the Black Panther 2: Wakanda Forever soundtrack with 'Lift Me Up'.
She returned to live performing in May of this year when she announced her second pregnancy at her Super Bowl halftime show. Dressed in an iconic red fit beside her dancers in all white, the 'Work' star flashed her baby bump.

Her Super Bowl performance, which became most watched half time show ever, went viral on TikTok with even Kim Kardashian and Mariah Carey's daughters North West and Monroe Cannon recreating the routine.

Rihanna's Coachella Outfit Proves More Really Is More
The singer is "Anti" minimalism at festivals.
What makes Coachella highly anticipated isn't just the jam-packed weekend full of electric performances. The three-day event has become synonymous with over-the-top festival style—but this year in the celebrity department, there seems to be a wardrobe shift toward minimalism . Rihanna was one of the many A-listers spotted in the desert who rejected that notion and embraced the "more is more" agenda with an opulent fur coat instead.
On Sunday, April 14, Rihanna was seen in the VIP section to cheer on her partner, A$AP Rocky , as he made a surprise appearance for Doja Cat's song "URRRGE!!!!"
The 36-year-old showed her support from the front row, wearing a gray vintage graphic T-shirt, tying it in the back to make it a crop top. She incorporated lots of layers for her look, opting for a khaki cargo maxi skirt with a wraparound waistband and a slit at the front. She also wore striped blue and white boxers that peeked out from beneath her skirt, and another khaki hoodie tied around her waist.
Rihanna wearing lots of layers, including a brown fur coat, while watching A$AP Rocky perform with Doja Cat at Coachella.
Rihanna ripped a page from Jennifer Lopez 's loud luxury outfit formula , throwing on an elaborate brown fur coat . The opulent outerwear was draped off her shoulders like a regal cape.
She completed her statement-baring outfit with slouchy cream-colored boots, beaded necklaces, and gold hoop earrings, plus a sleek Dior bag.
The "Wild Thoughts" singer packed her Coachella weekend full of over-the-top furs, likely styled by her longtime collaborator Jahleel Weaver . On Saturday, she attended Tyler, the Creator's performance, contrasting an all-black look with a fuzzy, floor-sweeping white jacket.
Fur coats have also appeared everywhere from Rihanna's rockstar errand outfits to nights out with friends. Ahead of Coachella, the singer also took her mob wife-inspired fur to dinner. While celebrating her best friend Melissa Forde's birthday at The Nice Guy restaurant in Los Angeles, Rihanna was seen in head-to-toe leopard print (courtesy of vintage Dolce. & Gabbana). She styled her printed mini dress with a matching coat, which was adorned with fuzzy black cuffs.

Rihanna aside, there's been a surge in low-key dressing at Coachella so far. Last week, Kendall Jenner was one of many to bring her minimalist style to the desert.
Kendall Jenner kicked off Coachella by opting for a sleek red midi dress at the FWRD event in Palm Springs, California.
On April 11, the supermodel hosted a welcome reception in Palm Springs to celebrate her new edit for online retailer FWRD. Jenner, the luxury site's creative director, was photographed wearing a burgundy maxi dress from Tove with a matching wristlet and black stripy heels, both from the Olsen twins' luxury label, The Row.
Then there was Taylor Swift's Coachella outfit , which leaned into all-black separates including a micro mini skirt and patent leather jacket, punctuated by a green baseball cap (promoting boyfriend Travis Kelce's podcast).
Perhaps we're entering a new era of festival style, but for some attendees like Rihanna, it will always be about doing the most.

Nelly Furtado Falls and Injures Herself While Joining Dom Dolla at Coachella: 'This Barbie Likes to Rave'
The pop superstar surprised fans at the music festival on Saturday, April 13 by joining the Australian hitmaker for a performance of their song "Eat Your Man"
Matt Winkelmeyer/Getty Images
Nelly Furtado sustained an injury while making her Coachella debut over the weekend — but she managed to laugh it off!
The pop superstar, 45, joined Australian EDM artist Dom Dolla on stage during his Coachella set on Saturday, April 13, and while they performed their hit 2023 collaboration "Eat Your Man," Furtado fell and injured her hand. After the music festival, the "Maneater" singer took to Instagram to joke about the incident and share how she still had an incredible experience.
According to fan-captured footage that surfaced on social media, Furtado tripped and fell straight onto her hands and knees after singing the line in the chorus, "Movin' my body like a nympho."
Despite the microphone capturing a loud thud, the Grammy winner quickly stood back up, continued strutting across the stage and resumed singing. She seemingly didn't miss a verse and jumped back in immediately on the lyric, "I say it right, now do what I say."
Shortly after the incident, the "Promiscuous" singer took to her Instagram Stories to confirm to fans that she was doing OK.
Furtado posted a video of herself backstage — which has since expired but was screen-recorded and shared by fans on X (formerly Twitter) — in which she joked about what had happened and showed off her bloodied finger.
"This Barbie likes to rave!" the hitmaker, who was wearing a bejeweled butterfly top and matching pink pants, said in the video.
In the clip, she also flashed her injured hand, which appeared to be bloodied at the nail bed of her thumb, and did two thumbs up while bursting into laughter.
"Literally left it all on the stage... including my blood 🩸⛑️ ," she wrote over the clip. "All for you @domdolla."
Furtado also posted a handful of photos on Instagram to celebrate her first-ever Coachella performance and thank her Dom Dolla, 32, for inviting her on stage.
On Sunday, the "Say It Right" singer posted a carousel of photos and video clips, including a handful of shots from her performance, backstage photos highlighting her pretty-in-pink look and a sweet selfie of her and the Aussie electronic hitmaker.

"My very first COACHELLA ! What a dream 💖🦋☁️ @domdolla," she wrote in the caption.
During their joint set, Furtado surprised the crowd by making a grand entrance in the middle of Dom Dolla's show on the Sahara Stage as she walked out to her own hit "Maneater." Shortly after performing the 2006 classic, the two stars played their fan-favorite collab "Eat Your Man," which dropped in June of last year.
Furtado has linked up with Dom Dolla in the past for live renditions of their team-up. Last summer at Lollapalooza in Chicago, they debuted a live performance of the track.
In September 2023, the "I'm Like a Bird" singer joined forces with her former frequent collaborators Timbaland and Justin Timberlake to release their first song together in 16 years, " Keep Going Up ."
The single, as well as the viral success of "Eat Your Man," marked a major return to the spotlight for the Canadian artist, who hasn't released a full-length album since 2017's The Ride .
While speaking with PEOPLE about her SKIMS campaign in October of last year, Furtado opened up about feeling more confident than ever in her career and tease more of what's to come .
"I'm just leaning in a lot more," she shared. "I'm leaning into what I do for a living and I'm finally realizing 23 years later, I'm really good at this. I love being on stage. I love writing songs. I love spreading joy. And I just think the more work that I put into it, the more satisfying it is."
Furtado added, "I've made that connection that I'm really doing this for me. I'm competing with myself, and that's why I'm so happy because I've really fallen in love with the craft again. I've fallen in love with the craft of recording, the craft of concerts, all those things. The entertainment business should be about community and always collaboration."
