Our driver was Ana she did a excellent job of driving us around the island and getting us back to the ship in ample time so we didnt get left behind. The first stop was the Monkeys and Sloth experience. It was great, my Wife really enjoyed holding the Sloths they were friendly. We also got to hold Guinea Pigs, Parrots and Monkeys. Next was the snorkeling. I fish alot offshore but never really snorkeled but I always wanna see whats in the water at the ports. The water clarity was great and saw numerous species including Urchins, Conchs, Spiny Lobster, Snappers, Jacks and there was one big Barracuda. Make sure you remove your jewelry. It was great cant wait to take my kids here. 10 out of 10! Ana also took us to a great place for Souvenirs on the way back. My family and I absolutely LOVED our day in Roatan! Thanks to our driver, Enrick, we were able to see most of the island. They ensured we were back on time to the port and above all that we enjoyed our time at Roatan. We did two tours through this company while in Roatan and my husband and loved our driver Shonna so much we used her for both tours. She was a very safe driver. She had so much knowledge of the island and culture, it was great having her show us around. She knew all the great spots and local foods and customs, she shared it all with us and stopped in these places for us to enjoy the culture. She treated us like family. We first did Daniel’s Sloths and Monkeys/Little French Key tour and then the Mangroves/Punta Gorda tour. Sloth’s/monkey’s is a fun quick little stop. Little French key was near empty the day we went, some areas closed off. Animals roaming around were awesome. The good snorkeling is further off from the beach, only by boat. Place is run down and falling apart. Food was just ok, drinks were very good. Mangroves tour was good, Captain Alex had a lot of knowledge. It was a cloudy day so we missed the full beauty of the water. The garifuna dancing and singing in Punta Gorda was fun (go on a Sunday only to see them dancing) Both tours had their ups and downs (the individual stops themselves are not run by 5 Star Roatan). We would definitely use this company again and highly recommend asking for Shonna to be your driver, she will not disappoint.

Simon made this trip a special memory for our entire group of 8, not 2 or 3 or 4 people but 8! We arrived on port to find our booking agency cancelled our excursion and failed to notify us. Simon remained very professional in a situation most could not. He quickly resolved the issue and we’re very thankful for Simon and this company for making our trip fun and an everlasting memory!

We did the city tour, with sloths and rum cake factory and dolphin encounter. Let’s say they did an awesome job. We had no stress. They were easily recognizable by their uniforms. Simon our guide was funny, professional, and very knowledgeable. He had a wealth of knowledge and it was like a tour within a tour. When we go back we will be using them again. Take it from my family they were top notch.

Enjoy this private combo tour were we will be taking you to visit Arch’s Iguana and Marine Park is a local family run operation dedicated to the preservation of some of Roatan’s most emblematic but over exploited wildlife. Led by Mr. Sherman Arch, the head of a local family from French Cay, they have made it their mission to educate the local community, as well as tourists and visitors that come to the island, about the importance of protecting Roatan’s most vulnerable species as well as the natural habitats where they thrive. Strong focus is placed on the iguana, in particular, the green iguana, and the spiny tailed black iguana (also known locally as wishiwilly and/or garrobo), which have long been hunted for thier flesh, skin, and eggs. These types of iguana, are classified as endangered species, with the spiny tailed black iguana classified as critically endangered, given that it is high on the list of poachers who hunt them for human consumption. You will get the opportunity to interact with the iguanas, feed & hold them if you wish too.

Roatan East End Island Tour + Mangrove Tour

This tour will take you to the less developed areas of the east end of Roatan away from the crowds. The first stop will be made at The View, where a great photo opportunity awaits. The north shore and the south shore can be seen as you look West down the island. A view of the reef and white sand beaches below completes this amazing scenery.

The next stop will be a boat ride in an island-style motor dory around the harbor of Jonesville, Roatan’s Venice. Colorfully painted houses on stilts line the water’s edge and locals commute by water taxi to stores, restaurants, and school. Large shrimp and lobster boats may be seen in this charming fishing community. The dances performed are the Junkanoo, where the men are dressed up as women, and the Punta which shows the skillful movements of the women’s dances.

Follow the expert guide through Blue Harbour Tropical Arboretum, a “Tropical Eden” of 160 eco-friendly acres.

The 28-feet sailing catamaran is equipped for snorkeling with ample room for 15 guests to sunbathe, sip a drink and relax.  Built-in 2004 on the Atlantic coast of France, with two outboard motors, has a maximum speed of 13 knots, with a cruising speed of 10 knots. Safety equipment includes life jackets, GPS, radio, and first aid.
