A popular cruise is our  2 Hour Tiki Fun Cruise. This cruise fits perfectly into your sightseeing trip. Enjoy your Cruisin’ Tiki adventure on the scenic waters surrounding Point Pleasant. If you prefer, ask your Captain to stop at Treasure Island Sandbar where you can take a quick dip, all while listening to your favorite tunes!

Yes, there is a type 1 PFD for every passenger, along with all the coast guard requirements for the vessel including a first aid kit.

The US Coast Guard regulations for our tiki boats is 6 people plus crew…. this includes children (no exceptions).

Drop off and pick up is dockside at River Rock Restaurant & Marina Bar located at 1600 Route 70, Brick, New Jersey

Yes, however the minimum age to ride the tiki boat is 13 years and over.

We are only accepting private charters at this time and not selling individual seats. When booking online, whether its one, two, or six passengers, the entire boat must be reserved at this time.

The tiki boat has a cruising speed at around 4 to 6 mph.

All our Captains have been vetted and trained through the U.S Coast Guard requirements. All captains have been chosen based on their experience with boating and knowledge of the area.

Cancellations made within at least 48 hours notice will be offered a full refund. We reserve the right to cancel any tour at any time due to weather, safety, mechanical or behavioral issues. If your tour is cancelled, you will be given a full refund or a rain check to re-book at another time (this excludes behavioral, along with alcohol related cancellations – these circumstances will never be rescheduled or refunded). For weather related issues, we may “wait out” a brief shower, reschedule for another day during your stay, or refund if unable to reschedule. “No Shows” will NEVER be refunded or rescheduled.

We do operate in the rain as the tiki boats have a roof. However, the captain can decide at anytime to cancel due to conditions (typically high winds or thunder storms). We operate under USCG’s rules. The USCG does not advise going out if wind speeds exceed 20 knots.

All our Captains have been vetted and trained through the U.S. Coast Guard requirements. All Captains have been chosen based on their experience with boating and knowledge of the area.

All day cruises are 2 hours in length, while our Sunset Cruise is 1.5 hours long. Additional time may be added based on Tiki availability, so please call to customize a cruise past our slotted times.

Besides relaxing with a cold drink we can pretty much book anything you can imagine. From sightseeing, to birthday parties, private luau’s, corporate meetings, retirement parties, bachelorette and bachelor parties, proposals, weddings, private parties or events, or everyone’s favorite…a day at the sandbar. You name it and we will try to make it work. Give us a call for special requests.

Yes, we do have bluetooth-capable Kicker sound system that can sync to your phone and play your choice of music.

Our tikis are NOT equipped with restrooms. We strongly encourage you to use the restroom before leaving the dock. So please do NOT drink more than you are able to “hold” while on your tour.

Dogs are allowed.

We encourage you arrive 15 minutes early. The tours are BYOB whether you bring your beverages from home or pick them up at the restaurant. If you are looking for food please arrive 30 minutes early as this is a great time to put in a food order at River Rock Restaurant & Marina Bar. You may bring your own wine, beer, soda, mixers, water or beverage of choice and snacks. Sunscreen and sunglasses are recommended. A light jacket, long sleeve shirt or cover up also might come in handy. We provide a cooler with ice but feel free to bring your own if desired.

There is ample safe and convenient parking available at River Rock Restaurant & Marina Bar. Uber and Lift rides are available locally and highly encouraged. Or ask your Captain for a local taxi company.

Captain Sam took us on a wonderful trip from the dock at Vilano Beach along the St. Augustine waterfront. He made sure to take us over to see some dolphins, and answered all of our questions about the history and natural features of the area. The tiki boat was so much fun! Bring your drinks, snacks, and tropical shirts. Cruisin Tikis will provide the rest.

Very cool trip. Would definitely do it again. Justin was awesome and a great guide. Highly recommend this for those wanting to do something a little different and taking in the beauty of St. Augustine.

I had so much fun on the Cruisin Tiki in ST. Augustine. I went with my boyfriend and it was romantic and yet extremely fun! We met some awesome tourists from all over the world. The captain Elise was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the marine life and the city of st Augustine. The Crusin tiki felt safe and it was amazing ti see the nights of lights from the view of the water. I am 100% doing this again next time I come to st Augustine and I suggest it to others.

We came to the Keys for our honeymoon and this was by far our favorite thing we did! It’s such a fun way to explore Key Largo. Our Captain was super cool and informative. He definitely made it a great time!

We had a great time on this cruise. The pace was so relaxing. The kids loved being able to get out & do some swimming/snorkeling while I watched the sunset. Captain Jason was very friendly & attentive. Would highly recommend this adventure to anyone looking for a peaceful, breezy way to catch a gorgeous sunset in Key Largo.

We did a 4pm private Tiki Cruise. SOOOOO MUCH FUN!!! Since we were later in the day, we caught the early part of the sunset. We saw plenty of fish, a manatee and dolphins. Best of all, it was quality family time!! The owners were super nice and easy to book with and our Captain was the best! Terrific value for the price!

We booked the whole boat for my fiancé’s birthday for a sunset cruise. Booking was super easy. Trip was awesome got to go swimming while sun was going down. Captain Chris was super cool and mellow which made the trip even better. We are locals and will recommend this trip to all our friends, family and clients. Looking forward to doing it again!

We had a great time cruising with Joey. I told him I wanted to see a manatee and sure enough he found one hiding in the mangroves.

Our group of 3 couples had a fantastic mid-day Tiki boat excursion with Captain Joey! Definitely enjoyed the great weather, Joey's knowledge of the area is awesome and he was the perfect personality for our group as well as his selection of music.

Had a great time for wife's birthday our captain did a great job and good personality and wonderful views

We got this as a gift for my dad for Father's Day, and we all had a blast. They let you play your own music and it's BYOB, so it's really your party. The captain will take your feedback into what route to take and was very nice and helpful. Riding in the tiki boat is really an experience unlike any other boat cruise--you are so close to the water and low that it really feels like you're IN it. Would definitely do this again.

Captain Justin was amazing ! He was very nice, and took us on a tour of the water where we got to see beautiful homes. He also let us connect our Bluetooth to play our own music. He was very chill and made us feel very comfortable and safe, as we enjoyed our ride. Food & drinks are not included, as you may bring your own things to eat and drink. They have cute little suction cup holders to prevent your drink from falling or spilling over. Storage space is limited on the tiki boat, so try not to bring a big bag. You could possibly ask them to lock your stuff away outside of the boat so that it won't get wet. Great ride overall and would definitely do it again ! Thanks

A BYOB floating raft for 6 with an ice-filled cooler, your own tunes and a private captain for 90 minutes to gawk at celebrity homes in Biscayne Bay? If you're in Miami with 5 friends and you're NOT trying this out, check your head. Our captain, Ola, was amazing! She was a great sailor and excellent tour guide. She filled us in on all the local lore and celebrity home details we needed. Turns out we were a star attraction out on the water. Everyone taking typical yacht rides was busy taking pictures of us on our floating bar. Pro tip: Wear shoes you don't mind getting wet, as the water can slosh up a bit over the edge at the front.

Booked this for Father's Day and it was a hit! It's a way more unique cruise then your standard yacht or speedboat ride. They don't have drinks onboard, but you can bring your own drinks and snacks, which actually ended up being even more fun since we could bring our favorites. They also can play your music, so we made a playlist and had our own music we wanted to hear. Just note this boat only holds 6, so it's more more intimate bookings. You can also choose to book a spot on a public tour if not renting the whole tiki. You'll turn heads while you're out at sea so be prepared to get some attention!

We were not sure what to expect going in but ended up having an AMAZING time! This is the perfect excursion to bring out-of-towners to. We did the private tour for 90 minutes with 6 people. You can choose a few different routes and we chose to just stay in one spot in the bay so that we could all jump out and swim! They do not offer towels so if you plan on swimming, bring your towels. It is BYOB (drinks and food)! They have a large cooler with ice so we stored all our beers/seltzers in there. There is also a large trash bin on board. It can get very bumpy with the choppy waves so I recommend bringing your own paper towels just in case any drinks spill. The boat has a sound system you can hook up to (we still brought our own speaker just in case but didn't end up needing it). There is a large parking garage at Bayside, once you park you will need to walk to the spot behind the Ferris wheel where the tiki boat pick up is located. Highly recommend this trip! I loooooove Cruisin' Tikis Miami! I live down the street and let me tell ya, these boat tours are a HIT with visiting friends... and myself. During Thanksgiving, my BFF and I booked the Celebrity Cruise and got to spend the afternoon with our charming captain, Herbie, who we just adore. We booked the sunset cruise last night and it was another banner day in Miami, this time complete with a downtown view at night. The boat is a tiki bar with lights, a bell, a cooler (BYOB!), a bluetooth speaker, and good vibes. My mom is coming in town for Christmas and she said all she wants to do is the tiki boat, and I agree. I love the concept, the execution, the experience - all top notch. Check out this new option from Bayside (near the ferris wheel) and get out on the water. I could not recommend this experience more.

Great time! Cruising down the Miami River was fun and had great scenery and we saw some manatees and a dolphin. Our captain Andres was very informative and made sure we enjoyed ourselves!

Amazing experience and our driver was so kind! We went on the sunset cruise, and our driver / guide was able to pause at any places we wanted to take photos. Winning Points: - BYOB and food! Don't have to pay for overpriced refreshments. - We were allowed to connect our phones to listen to our music! - Stunning backgrounds for photos: skylines, Miami River waterfronts, etc. Be sure to hit the bathroom in Bayfront Marketplace before take-off! ;)

Booked cruisin tikis for my friend's bachelorette and had a great time. I booked the public ride because we were only a party of 3 and we love making new friends anyway. Ken was our captain and ensured that we had a smooth ride the entire time. He even stopped so we could peep the cutest manatee floating on by. We drank, we danced, we laughed.. 10/10 would definitely do again.

What a great trip! My husband and daughter took the 10 am trip with Captain Alex. We had some much fun the morning was sunny, the company was amazing and the music terrific. Captain Alex provided us with wonderful views. We seen several dolphins. I would recommend this as part of your adventures to Clearwater Florida.

This is probably one of the most underrated options. However it is so simple, fun, relaxing, and laid back. It doesn’t mater what tour you do. Just go! You are away from everything, it’s all about you and the group your with. You will make the best of it and it’s Awesome.

We took a great cruse around the bay. We say dolphins, fish and sharks throughout the trip. The staff was super nice and accommodating.

Best night of our mini trip out to Clearwater. Patrick was so much fun and knowledgeable that gave our group an excellent experience! I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great time on the water with incredible sunset views!

• Chevron down Are you similar to pontoon boats claiming to be a tiki boat?​

No, our octagon shaped floating tiki bars are the only authentic tiki boat in Clearwater. Our small tikis offer a much different and a one-of-a-kind experience compared to overcrowded pontoon boats claiming to be a tiki boat because they have added a thatch roof. Don’t sell yourself short and do the real thing!

• Chevron down Are you still cruising during Red Tide and the seaweed bloom?

Yes, Red Tide and the seaweed bloom has not affected any of our cruises and has not resulted in any cancellations.

• Chevron down Are there available life jackets on board?

​Yes, there is a type 1 PFD for every passenger. Along with all the coast guard requirements for the vessel including a first aid kit.

• Chevron down Can more than 6 people cruise at the same time?

The US Coast Guard regulations for our tiki boats is 6 people plus crew…. this includes children… For larger groups, please call us. We can accommodate groups up to 24 people!

Yes, all routes are subject to change due to weather or current conditions, USCG restrictions or captains’ discretion. Our primary goal is to keep everyone safe while having a great time!

• Chevron down Are children allowed?

YES children six and older are allowed. We don’t want them to miss out cruisin’ on the tiki boat. Children under the age of 10 are required to wear a life jacket which we have on board or you can bring your own (recommended). Please let us know if you plan to bring children so that we can make the appropriate accommodations for life jackets. We recommend booking a private cruise if you have kids under 12 to ensure a family-friendly cruise.

​The tiki boat has a cruising speed at around 5 mph.

• Chevron down What are your cancellation and inclement weather policies?

Bookings are fully refundable if cancelled 48 hours prior to reservation. We reserve the right to cancel any tour at any time due to weather, safety, mechanical or behavioral issues. If your tour is canceled, you will be given a rain check to re-book at another time (this excludes behavioral related cancellations which will not be refunded). For weather related issues, we may “wait out” a brief shower, reschedule for another day during your stay, or refund if unable to reschedule. “NO SHOWS” will not be refunded or rescheduled!

• Chevron down Do your boats operate in the rain?

We do operate in the rain as the tiki boats have a roof. However, the captain can decide at anytime to cancel due to conditions (typically high winds or thunder storms). If you are unable to reschedule and still want to go on one of our cruises, the captains may under certain conditions go out to cruise in calmer water which is protected by islands or mangroves.

​Our Captains do work for tips, so gratuity is greatly appreciated. We suggest a 20% gratuity for our captains… they are very experienced, knowledgeable, and work hard to ensure your safety and to provide an amazing tiki experience for our guests!

• Chevron down How long is the tour?

90 Minutes to 120 Minutes depending on the tour chosen. Most tours can be extended during booking. For special events or custom tours, please call and we can discuss your options.

• Chevron down What can the tiki boat be used for?

Besides relaxing with a cold drink we can pretty much book anything you can imagine. From bachelorette and bachelor party’s, corporate meetings, birthday party’s, weddings… you name it and we will try to make it work. Give us a call for special requests or large group (over 6 persons) reservations

• Chevron down Can I play my own music on board?

​Yes, we have island music playing, or connect your music to our bluetooth Kicker speaker system and play your choice of music.

• Chevron down ​Do you provide food and drink?

No, guests are permitted to bring their favorite drinks, alcohol and food onboard. We provide a big yeti cooler and plenty of ice. Alcohol and food can be purchased at the marina.

• Chevron down How old do you have to be to go on a tiki cruise?

Guests must be 6 years old or older to cruise on the tiki boat.

• Chevron down What about restrooms?

Our tikis are not equipped with restrooms, so we encourage guests to use the restroom before leaving the dock. We can stop at a bar or sandbar if a pit stop is needed.

A perfect way to celebrate your special occasion!  Birthday's, Bachelor and Bachelorette parties, Retirement,  Company parties, you name it!  All guests are welcome to bring your favorite snacks and beverages of your choice (including alcoholic)!  Don't forget to bring your playlist for our Bluetooth enabled speaker.   The Friki Tiki can accommodate up to 20 people and there is a bathroom on board for your convenience.  Choose from a Harbor Cruise or Annisquam River Cruise!  Cruises are 90 minutes in length with an opportunity to add on additional time.  

Sunset Tiki Cruise

View picture perfect sunsets as you cruise through beautiful Gloucester Harbor on our 90 minute cruise.   Cruise past the Gloucester fishing fleet, Ten pound island, Rocky Neck Art Colony and Normans Woe.     Bring your friends, snacks and a beverage of your choice!    Sunset Cruise departures vary according to the time of year.  

Cruises available Wednesday - Sunday.

Public cruises available for booking up to 21 days prior to departure.

Note : The captain reserves the right to cruise up the Annisquam if the weather permits and/or requires it.  

Afternoon River Cruise - 2 hours

Sit back and relax as you cruise up the Annisquam River. Highlights of this trip include views of the Three Bridges and Annisquam Lighthouse, as well as an opportunity to observe wildlife in the marshland. You'll also see the entrance to Wingaersheek State Beach, Coffin's and Lighthouse Beach.

Cruises available on Saturday at 2 pm.

Sunday Funday Cruise

Join us on our Sunday Funday Cruise .!   Hold off the Sunday Scary's getting your island vibe on with us!   Cruise in Gloucester Harbor past the Gloucester fishing fleet, Ten pound island, Rocky Neck Art Colony and Normans Woe.     BYOB and Snacks!

Sunday Funday Cruises depart at 2 pm.

CRUISE WITH THE LOCALS! 

The Friki Tiki of Gloucester is locally owned and operated by Ginger Attaya, a local resident of Gloucester.. Our crew knows the local waters and the best spots to cruise aboard our custom floating tiki boat.  With an “island vibe”  and the beauty of Gloucester Harbor and Annisquam River, it’s sure to be everything you need for you and your friends to have a great time.   

Our vessel, "The Friki Tiki," is 36 feet long and over 11.4 feet wide. The Friki Tiki is fully licensed and insured. and equipped with all safety gear required by the USCG.  

Captain Mark Sinkinson is a Coast Guard certified boat captain and holds a 25 ton Masters license.  He has years of experience on fresh and salt waters and now resides here in Gloucester.  

 Captain Forrest got his start lobstering at the young age of 11.  He would work weekends when he was in school and continued to do so through the time he graduated.    Using his several years of sea time experience both in Gloucester and Alaska,  Forrest has now proceeded to acquire his 100 ton Masters License.

Our tours require a minimum of 9 total persons to run. If we are unable to meet that minimum, we will gladly reschedule to a time and day of your choice or refund your purchase.    (For public cruises only)  The Friki Tiki reserves the right to change, cancel, or reschedule a cruise as needed. Notice will be given as soon as possible.

The Captain reserves the right to adjust the trip as he/she sees fit.  This means that a harbor tour might go up the river and vs. versa depending on tides, weather, etc.    Note that on cooler days, the captain may decide to stay on the river vs. in the harbor.

Public Cruises - must cancel 24 hours in advance for a refund.   (Public cruises open up 2 weeks prior to departure)

Private Cruises - 50% paid up front and final payment due the day of your cruise .   If you cancel 30 days or more out, your deposit will be refunded.  If you cancel less than 30 days, no refund on deposit but we will try to reschedule you if possible.

If you are a no show, that will be considered a cancellation and you will not receive a refund. 

New England weather forecasts are not entirely reliable and we do not cancel trips based on the forecast.  The Captain decides whether it is safe to sail close to departure time.  If the Captain decides to cancel because of weather, we will work with you to reschedule your cruise or provide a refund.

Yes!   We have one restroom on board.  We call it "The Head."  

You may bring a beverage of your choice (including alcoholic), snacks/ food, sunblock, sunglasses,  jacket.  If you are booking a private charter, please feel free to bring your playlist so that you can enjoy your music while cruising!

We recommend comfortable clothing and casual shoes.  High Heels are not a good choice when walking around the boat.

There is no smoking (of any kind) permitted on The Friki Tiki.   

Yes!  The crew works hard in order to give you the best cruise possible.   Should you decide to provide a gratuity, they would be most appreciative!
