Day 01: cochin/ vagamon.

Pickup from Cochin International Airport / Railway Station and move to Vagamon. Reach Vagamon and visit Vagamon Kurisumala (Mountain of the Holy Cross), an important pilgrimage of Christians, highest view point and by climbing you can see the whole Vagamon. A huge crowd can be seen here on Good Friday week. The followers climb with wooden crosses. Next we will visit Pine Hills, not a sightseeing place but it offers you good memories to experience by walking through the pine trees and woods. The forests covered with full of pine trees gives a beautiful and different sight. After lunch, proceed to have an exploring mood after the tiresome travelling and visit Vagamon Falls. This place is at its best at rainy season with full of water. The view from there is just superb… it will surely give you a relaxation with lots of fun.

Day 02: Thekkady

After breakfast proceed to Thekkady. After reaching Thekkady, drive to Spice Garden to experience an aroma of different spices and you will know why it is known to be the spice capital. After having a small ride around the Plantations and having your lunch, move to the Elephant Junction to have an Elephant Safari and feel the royal journey. After Lunch, will relax by having a boating session which is one of the main activities for the tourists. If lucky enough, one can see animals with their groups which will give each traveller a thrilling experience. If still time permits you can have some shopping from the local stalls.

Overnight stay at hotel / homestay and relax after the journey.

Day 03: Thekkady / Cochin

After breakfast, move to Munnar. On the route visit one of the most enchanting Waterfalls in Kerala- Cheeyappara Waterfalls on the Kochi-Madhurai Highway (NH 49). After reaching Munnar have a freshup and then let’s go to Blossom Hydel Park -just 3 kms away from Munnar Town.Best place for nature lovers- a colorful park with rich beautiful flowers and greenery. It offers adventure trails, boating, nature walks, bird watching with facilities for cycling, roller skating, badminton as well.

Return back to the hotel / resort. Overnight Stay.

Day 04: Munnar

After breakfast have a ride to Eravikulam National Park (Rajamalai) – a magnificent view of rare species of Nilgiri Tahr, or visit Rajamala Wildlife Sanctuary which is also a part of Eravikulam National Park. After Lunch, proceed to Mattupetty Dam, Kunadala Lake and Eco Point, to have a beautiful view of Munnar and experience it with boating. Evening visit to the Lakkam Waterfalls , one of the most preferred destinations chosen by the tourists.

Even on the way, you will witness the abundant natural beauty of Munnar. Once you are in Munnar you can experience the hill station in all its pristine natural beauty adorned with green pastures of spice plantations, beautiful rivulets, cascading waterfalls and dense forests. You will be checked-in at the hotel as and when you arrived. You will have plenty of time to relax and be comfortable while enjoying the hospitality of the hotel. Your overnight stay is arranged at the hotel where you can sleep tight enjoying the chilly weather of Munnar.

Day: 02 Munnar

At the hotel, you will be provided with your breakfast and fill your stomach enough to keep going at the exciting that is looming in front of you at Munnar. We will take you to the flower garden where you can witness a myriad of exotic and beautiful flowers. Then you will have one of the most exciting things to do in Munnar—an elephant safari. Riding on the back of a tusker will leave you gasping for breath. You will also be able to visit the Mattupetty Tea Factory en route where you can witness at close quarters how the most important ingredient of the world famous beverage, tea, is made here. We will then proceed to the stunningly attractive Mattupetty Dam, Echo-Point and Kundala Dam. If you would like, you can ride on the waters of Kundala Dam on a speeding boat. The next exciting item is the drive where you will be taken along the vegetable fields located at the high mountains of Munnar at the borders of Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Relishing the memories of the day, you can sleep overnight at the hotel in Munnar.

Day 03: Munnar to Thekkady |120Kms 04Hrs Drive

Once you have had breakfast, we will take you to Thekkady. The drive will last about 4 hours during some of the places clad in natural splendour that you can see en route. Programmes such as nature walks, bamboo rafting and Periyar tiger trail are organized by the forest department, here. There are also several plantation tourism activities promoted by private agencies for the tourists in Thekkady. Your overnight stay is arranged at Thekkady. Day 05: Vagamon

At Vagamon A day to explore more in and around in Vagamon The chain of three hills – Thangal Hill, Murugan Hill and Kurisumala – is a mark of religious harmony. • 80% of the package cost or INR 10,000 whichever is higher payable for booking confirmation.
• FUll ull amount is payable at the time of booking confirmation for those components where 100% advance payment required for confirmation like some hotels, Flight Tickets, Bus Tickets, Train Tickets, etc.
• 50% of the package cost or INR 20,000 whichever is higher payable for booking confirmation.
• 50% of the package cost is payable 15 days prior to the departure date. If guests want to pay the rest balance in cash at the respective destination, he/ she may pay the same in cash at the respective destination’s local currency only equivalent to Indian Currency on arrival itself to our representative. Kindly note that guests have to bear the extra amount for currency exchange on their own for local currency if opt for on arrival payment.

• For Postpone/Prepone of tour packages are to be communicated in written and need to inform us at 7 days prior to Departure Date. Any request made within 7 days no amendments possible and Cancelation charges occur as per cancelation policy .
• The package can be altered/change as per the customer’s requirement/ interest if possible (subject to availability & Cancelations of respective Components Booked)
• We may reschedule the sightseeing days subject to weather conditions & to ensure smooth execution of tours.
• We shall not be responsible for any cancellation of cabs or buses due to bad weather & are not liable for it.  
• No Changes/ modifications are allowed during the trip except extreme conditions, which will be also done as per the cancelation policy of respective Components Booked.
• Refunds if any, for variation/modification/amendments/alteration and/or cancellations, etc. of any tour will be paid directly to the guest by ‘A/C payee cheque only’, in Indian Rupees at the prevailing rate of exchange on the date of the cheque, as per Reserve Bank of India Rules and Regulations, irrespective of whether the tour payments in part or whole were made in foreign currency.
• Refund payments will be processed within 15 working days of the cancellation date and the amount is payable as per cancellation policy.

DAY 1 : TRAVEL TO MUNNAR & SIGHTSEEING

Travel from kochi to munnar, 1 valara waterfalls.

At a distance of 39 Kms from Munnar, the magnificent Valara Waterfalls is located between Adimali and Neriamangalam on Munnar to Kochi highway (NH49), near Cheeyappara Waterfalls. Valara features a chain of waterfalls falling from a height of about 1000 feet and provide a magnificent view. These waterfalls are surrounded by lush, dense forests that are home to a variety of animals and birds. It is one of the top waterfalls near Munnar. Though the falls are visible from highway, it demands good amount of trekking to reach the bottom of the falls. The surrounding places of the Valara Falls are good for trekking. The falls offer spectacular views in monsoon and post-monsoon seasons. This place is connected by buses running between Munnar and Kochi.

2 Tea Museum

At a distance of 3.5 km from Munnar Bus Station, Tea Museum is a wonderful place to visit in Munnar town. The museum is owned by Kannan Devan Hills Plantations Limited owned by Tata Group. Visit to Tea Museum is one of the top things to do in Munnar. The museum exhibits different equipment used in tea manufacturing from early 20th century to late 20th century. Some of the items exhibited in the museum include the tea leave cutting machines, power making equipment, etc. The process of tea manufacturing is also explained in the museum. Photo Point is one of the best tourist places to visit in Munnar . The tea gardens are owned by Kannan Devan Hills Plantations Limited owned by Tata Group and it is a private property. At a distance of 32 Kms from Munnar, Top Station is a breathtakingly beautiful place on Kerala - Tamilnadu boarder. From here, one can get 360 degrees view of the Western Ghats. At an altitude of 2200 meters, this place is also known for the Neelakurunji Plant, which flowers only once every 12 years (next flowering year is 2018). Boat Cruise is the best mode in Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary to watch the wildlife from a close distance. Boating in Periyar Lake is arranged by the Kerala Tourism Development Corporation (KTDC) and is one of the most popular things to do in Thekkady . The lake was formed by Mullaperiyar Dam constructed in 1895. The land surrounding the lake is commonly frequented by wildlife. Elephants are the most common wildlife you can see on the shores of the reservoir while boating in the lake as part of Thekkady holiday packages . Apart from Elephants, the sight of Wild Boar and Sambar Deer is also possible. The upper deck in the boat is best for wildlife viewing.
