I have owned this bike since new in 2014. It has been a trouble free experience. The ergonomics of this bike are terrific. It is comfortable for long rides and agile enough to have fun in the curves. I am a big fan of the looks. I find the wind protection of the large windshield very good. It ... handles the weight of my wife and I and our luggage with ease. I will not be selling this bike anytime soon. It is a keeper. On the highway or the boulevard this bike great.

I just traded my 2005 Road King Classic for this 2014 Road King. The previous owner upon delivery had purchased: the optional abs braking system, a detachable tour pack, day maker led headlight and auxiliary lights, chrome wing deflectors, passenger handles when not riding with tour pack, rhinehart ... exhaust. The options added to this bike were about $5000. So I'm very pleased with this purchase and the bike rides and handles extremely good.

My 2014 Road King

I recently traded my 2011 Ultra Classic, for a 2014 FLHR Road King, I knew I was giving up some wind/weather protection, but I have always loved the look of the Road King. When the 2014 models came out, and they changed the saddle bags to a one touch opening system, I decided I could give up my tour ... pak, since these bags were so easy to open. I purchased my bike with the linked brakes/ABS option. I love this bike. It handles extremely well, and just plants itself in the corners. The brakes are excellent, and the bike seems to have very good power. It certainly has much better power than my previous TC 96 motor. The large wind screen is adequate, giving me a nice pocket of clean air, although not as good as the batwing fairing. So far I am very happy with my purchase, and loving the bike. I have also found the bike to sit a bit lower than my ultra, and the stock seat seems to be very comfortable. The new heritage style bars that now come on the Road King put me in a nice comfortable position.

Tour Pak Harness

Hello I have a 2021 RGS, I purchased the HD OEM King Tour Pak. I recently purchased the HD Signature LED Light Bar for the Pak. What harness or harnesses are required to connect the light bar and maybe side arm lights to my factory connection under my seat. Thanks  

You’re gonna have to either make one or buy it from Custom Dynamics or Namz. You’ll need two different harnesses, one for inside the Tour Pak and then another from the bike to the Tour Pak. Pretty easy to find the bike to TP harness and you can find cheaper ones on eBay and Amazon but the one inside will have to be from one of the companies.  

Oh, and I hope you’re not afraid of drilling holes in that new Tour Pak. Cause it’s gonna be a lot of em. 😂

Complete Tour Pack Wiring Harness

• 1997-2023 Touring models
• Plug-n-play wiring harness with Ultra lights
• Not needed for Bad Dad Tour Packs

This is the complete wiring harness to plug any 2014-2023 model year Tour Pack assembly onto your 1997-2023 Touring model. This harness plugs in underneath the bike's seat and runs into the Tour Pack where it plugs into the 5-pin connector for the OEM-style "wraparound taillight." This harness also has separate 2-pin connectors for attaching a side marker light. The harness also features an additional 2-pin connector for attaching a charging port.

Note: A complete plug-n-play harness is already included in all orders of Bad Dad's Tour Pack Lid with LEDs and Bad Dad's Tour Pack Assembly with LEDs. You do not need to order this or any additional wiring if you're using one of Bad Dad's LED products.

Note: Our harness functions as an OEM replacement harness (which is not available through Harley-Davidson). We do not guarantee that this harness will be compatible with anyone else's products. Please see the product images for reference.

This harness is different than the Basic Tour Pack Wiring Harness because the Complete Harness includes the complete plug-n-play connections for the OEM-style taillights. Our Basic Tour Pack Wiring Harness does not feature these additional connections.

An optional 12-volt power port is available separately. Each Tour Pack Wiring Harness features an additional 2-pin connector for plugging in this optional 12-volt power accessory, which is perfect for charging mobile electronics and other devices.

Use this custom wiring harness on any Road King, Road Glide, Street Glide, Electra Glide, or Ultra project.
