Day 1: Arrival in Cairo

Arrive any day in Cairo. Upon your arrival in Cairo, you will be met with our company representative in the arrivals area of the airport who will be holding a signboard with your name on it. After meet and greet, you will be transferred from the airport to your hotel in Cairo. Rest of the day will be at leisure.

Day 2: Cairo: Giza Pyramids, Sphinx, perfumes and papyrus institutions

Buffet breakfast at the hotel then start a guided tour to visit one of the Seven Wonders; The great Pyramids of Giza; (Cheops, Chephren, and Mycerinus) were reckoned by the Greeks to be one of the Seven Wonders of the World. A single pyramid is built with 2.300.000 blocks, each weighing an average of two and halftones. In the face of such immensity, one cannot help but feel the wonder and awe that so many writers and artists have sought to convey over the centuries. The Cheops Pyramid is more interesting because its interior burial chambers are open for inspection by the public. Not far from the Pyramids is the Great Sphinx of Giza, which dates from the time of Chephren (2620 BC). Hewn from natural yellowish limestone and standing 65 feet high and 187 feet long, this unforgettable statue combines the head of a Pharaoh with a lion’s body.

Lunch at a local restaurant is followed by a visit to the perfumes and papyrus institutions to get a lecture of how ancient Egyptians were making them, then you can explore the shops with no obligations to buy. At the end of the tour, you will be transferred to your hotel and overnight.

Day 3: Cairo: Citadel, national museum of Egyptian civilization, Coptic quarter & Khan El Khalili bazaars

After breakfast you will be taken to the Citadel of Saladin, the fortress built between 1176 and 1183 AD, to protect Cairo from the Crusaders and rebuilt by Muhammad Ali Pasha, whose mosque is a “must-see”.

Continue your exciting trip to visit the national museum of Egyptian civilization where the royal mummies are resting. The first museum in the Arab world focusing on the earliest civilization in history – the ancient Egyptian civilization.

Lunch during the tour at a local restaurant is followed by a visit to Cairo famous Churches, including the Hanging Church and the Church of St. George the Martyr, 2 churches built into the walls of the Fort of Babylon and its remains could be Cairo’s oldest structures; and the Church of Abu Serga (St. Sergius), where, it is said, the Holy Family took shelter in a cave, with the church being erected her to commemorate this. This whole area is a world famous destination for Pilgrims.

You will have the opportunity to visit the old market of Cairo (Khan El-Khalili) to test your haggling skills. Then you will be transferred to Cairo airport for your domestic flight to Luxor. Upon arrival, our representative will meet and assist you then you will be transferred to your hotel.

Day 4: Luxor: East & West banks

Breakfast at hotel & check out. Then you will visit the West Bank of Luxor: the tombs of the New Kingdom Pharaohs in the Valley of the Kings ; the magnificent temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El- Bahri finishing with the immense Colossi of Memnon. After lunch at a local restaurant; you will visit the magnificent Karnak and Luxor Temples in the East bank of Luxor. Once your visit to these ancient Theban Temples is completed; You will be transferred by our deluxe air-conditioned vehicle to Hurghada. Upon your arrival, you will check in at your hotel.

Day 5: Hurghada (Boat trip — snorkelling)

Early breakfast is followed by a sea trip. Head to the Blue Lagoon to experience the delight of swimming and snorkelling in the clear water. Explore the coral reef and keep your eyes out for the many different kinds of fish that live here. Swim along with the fish to an area filled with amazing coral, then proceed to reach a plateau 5-10 meters deep, scattered to find coral outcrops where stonefish and scorpionfish feed. Later, you can refresh yourself with a hearty lunch back on the boat and sail back to Hurghada.

Day 6: Hurghada

A full day for sunbathing, exploring, shopping, or taking up some of the many water sports activities available to you.

Day 7: From Hurghada to Cairo-By Air

Breakfast at the hotel is followed by free time to do whatever you want. Afternoon you will be transferred to Hurghada airport for a domestic flight back to Cairo. Upon arrival, our representative will meet and assist you, then you will be transferred to your hotel for check-in and overnight.

Day 8: Departure from Cairo — End of Tour Service

After breakfast, you will check out from your hotel in Cairo (hotel check-out is before 11:00 am) and will then be transferred to the Cairo International airport according to your flight details. This will be the end of our tour and services.

Day 1 Arrival to Cairo Int. Airport

Your trip will start once you arrive at Cairo International Airport as you will meet GAT Tours’ representative who will be you main assistant during your stay in Egypt.

He will then take you to your chosen hotel in Caito to check in and enjoy some relaxing and refreshing time at your new room.

Make sure to have a well sleepy night to get the energy for tomorrow’s journey. (No Meals)

Day 2 Pyramids_Sakkara_Memphis

Your morning will start with a delicious Egyptian breakfast at your hotel, then you will be ready for today’s trip to the amazing site of The Pyramids of Giza. This incredible place was considered one of the old seven wonders of the world that still exist until today. The pharaohs built these pyramids around 2500 BC as the royal tomb of the 4th dynasty kings. The 3 pyramids belong to king Cheops, Khafre, and Menkaure, this is plus the marvelous sphinx which was constructed in a body of a lion and a head of a human to guard the pyramids.

Let’s continue the trip with a special visit to the Saqqara city which was the main burial site for the kings of the 3rd dynasty in Egypt. One of the most interesting highlights of this city is the Step Pyramid of Djoser. This pyramid is considered the oldest surviving stone monument in the whole world and the first proper pyramid to ever be constructed in Egypt as it was built in the 27th century BC.

The next step will be at Memphis city which is the first capital of unified Egypt. This marvelous city was established by king Narmer in the 32nd century BC after he was able to unify Upper and Lower Egypt. Memphis was the main capital of Egypt from the 32nd century and until the 22nd century. You will enjoy visiting there the amazing Colossi of Ramses II, the alabaster sphinx, and many other statues and items.

After such a long and fruitful day, it’s the time to enjoy your lunch meal at one of the best restaurants in town. At the end of today, you will get back to your hotel to have some rest then you will get the chance to join our optional tour for today to the sound & light show at Giza pyramids. This show will be presented by the startling sphinx himself who will tell you the whole story and history behind the creation of the pyramids in an entertaining blend of sounds and lights.

Finally, you will get back to your hotel to spend the night. (Breakfast & Lunch)

Day 3 Museum Citadel Old Cairo

Don’t miss the best breakfast meal at your hotel before starting today’s journey.

Today you will start the trip by visiting The Egyptian Museum which is a great museum full of a huge collection of ancient monuments dating back to various periods of Egyptian history. You will not find these displays elsewhere in the whole world. The main highlights of the Egyptian museum are the golden exhibits of Tutankhamen, the mummies’ hall, large impressive reliefs, statues, and many other fascinating items.

Then you will head to visit the famous Citadel in Egypt which was constructed in the 10th century by Saladin in order to protect Egypt from any threats. Inside The citadel you will enjoy visiting lots of impressive monuments like the famous Mosque of Mohamed Ali, the Mosque of El Nasser Mohamed, and many interesting museums.

Now you will get a break to enjoy an Egyptian lunch meal at one of the best restaurants in Cairo.

After this break, you will continue the journey at the Old Cairo area where you will be visiting the most interesting Coptic monuments in the country. You will start with The Hanging Church which was established in the 5th century, then the Abu Serga Church that was constructed in the 7th century. The last visit here will be to the Church of Saint Mary that was built during the 5th century.

At the end of this marvelous tour, you will get back to your hotel for some rest, then you will have the chance to try our optional tour for today to a Nile Cruise Dinner. This dinner will contain a delicious open buffet, a Tanoura show, a belly dancing performance, live music, and remarkable views of the river Nile.

Finally, it’s the time to enjoy a sleepy night at your hotel. [Breakfast & Lunch]

Day 4 Karnak Temples Complex & Temple of Luxor

Make sure to enjoy your breakfast meal till the last bite so you can get the energy for today’s journey.

Our English-speaking representative will take you with a private A/C vehicle to Cairo International Airport in order to catch your domestic flight to Luxor city.

Once you arrive in Luxor city, you will meet our local representative there who will assist you and take you to your new accomodation for the next few days.

You will reach your hotel to check in and get some rest and refreshment then you will be ready to join our Expert tour guide on the first trip in Luxor.

The first destination here will be at the Temple of Karnak which is the largest Pharaonic temple complex in the whole world. This temple hosts lots of impressive items that date back to the new kingdom like the huge amazing columns of the hypostyle hall which were constructed by Ramses II.

The next visit of today will be very special as you will be discovering the Luxor Temple, This temple is the second most important temple in the city after Karnak temple, it was built around the 14th century BC and the construction continued for many years afterwards so lots of pharaohs participated in this process like Ramses II, Queen Hatshepsut, and many others. The temple has a variety of design outlines and architecture, you will enjoy exploring each detail of this temple.

After this marvelous tour, you will get back to your hotel for rest & refresh. You will be having lots of options to spend the rest of your day, one of these options is to join us in the sound & light show at the Karnak Temple. This show will let you enjoy knowing all the stories behind the construction of many sections of the temple and many facts about the different Pharaohs and kings of ancient Egypt.

Now, you will get back to your hotel to spend a great night. [Breakfast]

Day 5 Valley of the Kings, Temple of Hatshepsut, Colossi of Memnon

This morning, you will have some free time to spend it on your own or you can choose to join us on a new adventure (optional). It will be a Hot-air Balloon adventure that will make you enjoy flying over Luxor city to enjoy wonderful views like birds.

Then you will get back to your hotel to enjoy your delicious breakfast before continuing your discoveries for today. Your trip will start at the West bank of Luxor which used to be called the city of the dead. This city hosts many fascinating mortuary temples and necropolises, your first visit will be at the Valley of the Kings. This site is rich with many ancient Egyptian tombs from the New Kingdom that will blow your mind, like the marvelous tomb of Tutankhamen. This tomb was discovered by Howard Carter in 1922.

Next, you will have the time to visit the Temple of Deir El Bahari, which was built in the 18th dynasty by the beautiful Queen Hatshepsut. This Temple has many unique features like many terraces and lots of statues for the Queen with a beard. The location of this temple at one of the great mountains of Thebes also makes it so special.

Your last visit of the day will be at the Colossi of Memnon which consists of two huge statues that were remains from the great funerary temple of Amenhotep III. This site was built in 1350 BC and now it has become a famous landmark in Luxor.

After such an interesting tour, you will have the chance to get back to your hotel in Luxor to spend the night. [Breakfast]

Day 6 Drive to Hurghada by A-C van

Today you will enjoy your breakfast meal at your hotel before checking out to head for another destination. Our local representative will take you with a private air-conditioned vehicle towards Hurghada city where the fun will begin.

The trip to Hurghada will only take approximately three hours by car. Once you arrive in the city you check in to your chosen hotel there for rest and refreshment.

During the afternoon, you will have some free time to spend it on your own in Hurghada to explore the wonders of the city.

Don’t miss to pass by the downtown of Hurghada as it has the largest number of night spots that you will definitely love.

The dinner meal for today will be special as you will have it at your new hotel in Hurghada.

Finally, it’s now the time to get some sleep at your nice room in the heart of the Red Sea! [Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner]

Day 7 Free at Lesiure in Hurghada

Start the day with a refreshing breakfast then get out of your room to enjoy your stay in this amazing hotel where you can use the beach, pool or even the other facilities like GYM and SPA (available, but not included).

But if you want a prepared trip, we can offer you an optional tour that will be through a glass boat. You will enjoy a ride in the sea to discover the wonders of the red sea from a modern equipped glass boat to have an unforgettable experience.

Tonight you will have very special moments at the night spots of Hurghada like restaurants, cafes, discoes, bars, shops, and various stores. You will get the chance to like nightlife that you can’t find elsewhere in the world.

There will be another optional trip to be offered for you at the end of the day. This trip is a BBQ Dinner with Bedouin party in the middle of the Egyptian desert, this party will have delicious Bedouin BBQ food and some Bedouin music and dances.

Or you can make your choice and join us in one of our optional tours for today. This tour will be a Desert Safari Tour where you can enjoy the amazing Egyptian desert with your partners and get your dinner under the stars, if you wish. Don’t miss this new adventure.

Day 9 Check Out – Final Departure

The Egyptian Museum is hard to miss on any tour of Cairo. Opening in 1902, it was purpose-built to house the antiquities of Ancient Egypt.

Khan El Khalili is located 12 km from downtown- Cairo. Khan El Khalili market is situated at one corner of a triangle of markets that go south to Bab Zuwayla and west to Azbakiyyah.

Valley of the Kings

Situated on the ancient site of Thebes, the Valley of the Kings is the ancient burial ground of many of Egypt's New Kingdom rulers, most famed collection tombs.

Hatshepsut Temple

Hatshepsut temple is a reflection of the mortuary temple of Mentuhotep II and was constructed alongside that 11th dynasty structure.

Karnak Temple

Located on the east bank of the Nile, Karnak Temple Complex consists of a number of temples. Its name was given as in Arabic Karnak means fortified village.

Day 01:Hurghada/ Cairo Tours / Fly to Luxor Luxor and Aswan Travel representative will pick you up from your hotel in Hurghada or Gouna by a private air-conditioned modern vehicle for flight to Cairo. Upon your arrival at Cairo Airport, you will be accompanied by your private Egyptologist guide to discover the exquisite Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus, the Sphinx with a head of a pharaoh and lion's body, which dates back to the reign of King Chephren, and the Valley Temple of the Pyramid of Chephren.

Lunch will be served at a good quality local restaurant in Cairo. Then you will move on to the Egyptian Museum which features artifacts from the Pharaonic period. The museum displays a rare collection of 5000 years of art which is considered the largest most precious collection of Egyptian art in the world. Over 250,000 genuine artifacts are presented, including an exhibit dedicated to Tutankhamen collection of treasure, gold and jewelry which was enclosed in his tomb for over 3,500 years before it was discovered in the 1920s when his tomb was excavated.

Continue driving to Islamic Cairo, where you will be able to explore Khan El Khalili, Cairo’s old bazaar. In the evening you will be driven to Cairo Airport for flight to Luxor where you will be met and transferred to your hotel in Luxor & overnight Luxor.

Day 02: Luxor Tours / Back to Hurghada Breakfast at your hotel in Luxor and then you will be accompanied by your English speaking tour guide in a private air-conditioned vehicle to visit the fabulous Karnak Temples the largest place of worship ever built. Lunch will be served in Luxor at local restaurant. After that you will be moved to the West Bank of the river Nile to visit the two colossal statues of Amenhotep III (Colossi of Memnon), and then visit the Valley of the Kings, where the magnificent tombs discovered, you will visit 3 tombs excluding Tutankhamen.

Pyramids of Giza

The pyramids of Giza are the only one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World still preserved today and therefore one of the most famous buildings in the world. The pyramids of Giza include the three main pyramids, the Pyramid of Cheops, the Pyramid of Chephren and the Pyramid of Mykerinus.

The queen Pyramids some other smaller secondary pyramids, in which for example the women of the pharaohs were buried, as well as workers villages, temples, and cemeteries.

The Sphinx of Giza The Sphinx Giza is the largest Egyptian sculpture. It was carved out of the limestone rock of the Giza Plateau and represents a lying lion with a human head and the so-called Nemes headscarf. Originally, the sphinx was painted with reddish ochre and also had a chin beard, but this fell off in ancient times.

Egyptian Museum of Antiquities you will continue your excursion with a visit to the Egyptian Museum, where there are antiques from the Pharaonic period. The museum exhibits a rare collection of 5000 years of art, considered to be the most valuable collection of Egyptian art in the world. More than 25,000 antiquities are on display, including an exhibition devoted to Tutankhamen’s Treasure, furniture and jewelry, kept in his tomb for more than 3,500 years before Howard Carter discovered them in 1922. Then Proceed to have your lunch at a local restaurant.

Bazaar khan el khalili After visiting the Egyptian Museum go see the beautiful Khan El-Khalili famous souq Cairo main market. Its always crowded with tourists and locals alike. In the morning check out from the hotel in Cairo there is a short domestic flight to Aswan (duration approx. 1 hour) after you reach Aswan your guide will be waiting for you to visit…

Aswan High Dam The Aswan Dam is a 20th-century mega-construction, completed in 1970 and built to save Egypt from the annual flooding caused by the Nile, the world’s longest river.

The Unfinished Obelisk Our next stop will be the Unfinished Obelisk, located in a red granite quarry that was exploited during the time of Queen Hatshepsut. This obelisk was designed to be the largest obelisk in ancient Egypt, with a height of 42 meters and a weight of 1,200 tons.

Philae Temple You will go to Philae Island, between the old and the new Aswan Dam, where the beautiful Philae Temple is located. This temple is dedicated to the goddess Isis and is one of the 4 places where the legend of Isis, Osiris, and Horus takes place.

Day 1: Arrive and Relax in Cairo

When  you arrive for your Cairo, Luxor & Hurghada Tour you will quickly discover that this is not your average tour. As soon as you step into the arrivals hall at Cairo International Airport you will be met by a tour representative and then you will be taken to check-in at your hotel, which in this case will be the luxurious Le Meridien Pyramids Hotel. Our consultant will assist you with check-in, and then they will go over your tour itinerary with you, and confirm pick up times for your individual tours.

With that taken care of, you can enjoy a free “Welcome to Egypt” drink on us, and you can spend the rest of the day doing whatever you choose.

Day 2: Cairo Sightseeing

After enjoying breakfast, you will take an exciting trip to the Great Giza Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus. After the pyramids, you will move on to the Great Sphinx, which guards the plateau, as well as the Valley Temple.

Next on the agenda is the Egyptian Museum, where you will enjoy 5,000 years of history represented in more than 250,000 pharaonic artifacts. Finally, you will round out your day in Coptic Cairo, enjoying the Hanging Church, Abu Serga Church, the Ben Ezra Synagogue and more.

You will end your day at the Giza train station, where you will board a sleeper train for Luxor. You will dine and sleep on the train.

Day 3: Luxor Sightseeing

You will be met by our representative on your arrival at the station in Luxor and assisted to your hotel. Day 4: Luxor Sightseeing

This marks the end of you sightseeing for the day, and you will now be returned to your hotel to spend the night.

Day 5: Transfer to Hurghada

Day 6: Hurghada

Today is all about relaxation and leisure. Explore the city; shop until you drop, or visit the Red Sea and relax on the beach. You will spend the night in your hotel in Hurghada.

Day 7: Back to Cairo

After finishing breakfast at your hotel, you will check out of the hotel and our staff will take you to the Hurghada bus station, where you will board a luxury air-conditioned bus for Cairo.

The trip takes approximately 6 hours and you will be met at the bus station when you arrive. You will then return to Le Meridien Pyramids Hotel for the last night of your Cairo, Luxor & Hurghada Tour.

Day 8: Final Departure

Last day of your Cairo, Luxor & Hurghada Tour. Wake up to a wonderful 5-Star breakfast at your hotel, and then it will soon be time to do that which you have most likely been dreading. Our tour representative and a driver will fetch you from the hotel and they will drive you to the airport in time for your flight out of Egypt.

You will be assisted with your luggage and with check-in, and then sadly everyone will have to say goodbye.

The pyramid of king Khufu was constructed in 2580 BC in 20 years using 2,300,000 pieces of limestone each weighing 2.5 tons with a workforce of about 100,000 free skilled workers. The 2nd day started with a sunrise hot air balloon trip over The Valley Of The Kings, which was an experience of a lifetime. Later we were taken to the Tombs in The Valley Of The Kings followed by a private boat trip on The River Nile. A fantastic experience which is well worth the money.
