The tour will kick off in San Antonio!

The remarkably talented norteño group, Grupo Frontera , announces all the details for their “ El Comienzo ” tour today. Today on the one year anniversary of the group’s formation, they commemorate this milestone by announcing their highly anticipated tour. Kicking off later this Spring, Grupo Frontera will hit over 20 cities across the U.S., sharing their hits with fans all across the country. Within their first year, Grupo Frontera had three songs on the Billboard Hot 100 including “ Bebe Dame ,” “ Que Vuelvas ” alongside Carin Leon , and “ No Se Va ,” a tremendous feat for any artist.

A YouTube and TikTok sensation!

Grupo Frontera is one of the freshest and most unique groups of the last few years, having accomplished so much in just one year. Comprised of six men – Adelaido Solís, Julian Peña Jr., Alberto Acosta, Carlos Zamora, Carlos Guerrero, Juan Javier Cantu – Grupo Frontera is taking the music industry by storm with their charisma and their original norteño sound. SAN ANTONIO – Grupo Frontera is coming to San Antonio this August.

The Freeman Coliseum announced on Monday that Grupo Frontera is playing on Aug. 25. The presale for “EL COMIENZO TOUR 2023″ starts at 10 a.m. on Thursday with code “TULUM.” Tickets for the general public go on sale on Friday.

Stops for “EL COMIENZO TOUR 2023″ previously included other Texas cities like Austin, Hidalgo and Corpus Christi, which have sold-out shows.

The tour comes amid Grupo Frontera’s rise to fame, which includes a big stage debut at Coachella and chart-topping songs with Bad Bunny and Peso Pluma.

The group, from the Rio Grande Valley, was also nominated for song of the year and performed at the Latin American Music Awards.

The 2024 Latin American Music Awards brought the heat to Las Vegas!

Hosted by Becky G , Thalía , Alejandra Espinoza, and Carlos Ponce, the award show aired live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Thursday, April 25.

Over 30 performers took the stage including Feid and Peso Pluma , who each scored 12 award nominations.

The title of big winner at the 2024  Latin  American Music  Awards  went to two artists:  Feid  and  Karol G .

It was a special night for Yandel who received one of the three special awards of the night. The Puerto Rican hitmaker was honored with the Latin AMA Pioneer award. In his speech, he thanked “TK.” The other two special awards went to Ricardo Montaner and Banda MS, who each took home a Latin AMA Legacy award.

The first award of the night went to Peso Pluma, who won best regional Mexican album for his history-making set Génesis. “I just want to thank you for all the love you have shown corridos, the love you’ve shown me,” the Mexican star said in his speech. “Thanks to those who make this possible, especially to you my fans because you have made this wave of corridos even bigger.”

Just a few awards were handed out throughout the three-hour show, which was instead stacked with back-to-back performances. Those that did go up to pick up awards included Feid, who picked up streaming artist of the year, and Peso returned with Eslabon Armado for best collaboration in regional Mexican (“Ella Baila Sola”). Carin León also took the stage not only to premiere his song “Cuando La Vida Sea Trago,” he also went up to receive best artist – regional Mexican.

Other performances of the night included several premieres, including Marc Anthony, who sang “Ale Ale” from his new album  Muevense . And Carin León performed for the first time “Cuando La Vida Sea Trago.” Country singer Jennifer Nettles joined singer-songwriter Noel Schajris for the world premiere of “Love’s Still Here” from her upcoming bilingual album.
