INFANTS: The Civil Aviation Authority stipulates that we operate our aircraft in line with the manufacturer’s guidelines, one of these guidelines is that there is maximum number of passengers allowed on the aircraft, adult, child or infant. Therefore, when an infant is booked on our flights and sits on the lap of a caregiver, we are required to leave a seat free for this infant, thus the total maximum number of passengers remains the same. This is why you will see a charge for infants.

Got a grab one deal that included lunch at the hilton. The flight was alot of fun going over Taupo and seeing the main sights and a great suprise for my partner would love to do it again!

Booked a grabone deal for two which included a flight for two and lunch at the Hilton. My booking was secured with ease, customer service was excellent. We had a lovely flight over Taupo, nice to see from the air as we have been to Taupo many times. The flight itself is not long but standard in New Zealand but we were informed of the various places we flew over and saw the Huka Falls from above. It was nice to experience a smaller helicopter than what we have been in before and love the idea of mixing the flight with lunch – awesome meal too! We never felt unsafe. A great package for all to enjoy.

Purchased the Grabone deal for Flight plus lunch at the Hilton. Great communication all the way through, easy booking and friendly. Response was quickly received when I emailed on the day regarding the windy weather. We were picked up from the Hilton by the helicopter and our pilot explained the safety briefings. Once in the air our Pilot gave an interesting commentary and facts of all the sights we flew past, she was relaxed and handled the windy conditions with ease we felt very safe! One of the best Taupo helicopter tours on offer, Mountain Magic takes you on an unforgettable flight through the heart of New Zealand's North Island. Marvel at the pristine waters of Lake Taupo, encircled by the striking volcanic peaks of Tongariro National Park. Fly over ancient forests and cascading waterfalls, immersing yourself in the untouched natural beauty that surrounds you.

Mountain Magic  - 90 minutes  This amazing 90 minute flight starts at Huka Falls, takes you across Taupo Township, down the east side of Lake Taupo and then into the Kaimanawa Ranges. Whilst there, you will land at a spectacular alpine tussock top for a look around. The emerald bushland below you will amaze you, as will Mt Tongariro, Mt Ngauruhoe and Mt Ruapehu, with its crater lake. Along the western side of Lake Taupo, you will stop again at a gorgeous secluded waterfall before flying across the bays over Kinloch to Rangataria Point where you will see the rock carvings. Then it's back along the Waikato on the way to the helipad.

Tongariro Helicopter Tour

Fly from our helipad over the Huka Falls and up the Waikato River to the Taupo township and along the eastern shore of the lake to Turangi. From there we fly south to the World Heritage listed Tongariro National Park. Fly through the saddle to Mt Ngauruhoe’s crater and then over the Tongariro Crossing and Mt Tongariro’s new Te Maari crater.

We also get great views of Lake Rotoaira and the hidden Lake Rotopounamu. We then fly back up the lake shore, over the world-renowned fishing rivers Tongariro and Tauranga-Taupo, across to Rangatira Point via the Maori Rock Carvings and back down the Waikato River to our helipad.
