Departure Location : Mombasa Hotel /Residence.

Early morning pick up from your Mombasa hotel/residence and drive south to Shimoni Village. On arrival head to the marine offices to get your tickets. Walk down the Shimoni Caves known to be a storage during the slave trade. Begin your Dhow tour and search for the dolphins as you get into Kisite Marine Park. If it’s your lucky day, swim with the dolphins as you snorkel to see the abundant marine life available. Snorkeling gear is included and the package is also ideal for those who cannot swim as our skilled guides provide you with floaters and help you navigate with ease. After an awesome experience and 2 hours of swimming, we head to Wasini Island where local Swahili food will be served. Lunch includes a soft drink and beer lovers can get a chance to try out the local brands at an extra cost. Take an afternoon walk on  Wasini Island and learn the culture of the local community and their way of life from farming, fishing, and trade. Sail back to the mainland for your transfer back to Mombasa.

0700 Hours to 0730 Hours:  Pickup from your Hotel: A countryside drive in a private, air-conditioned van, through beautiful coconut plantations to “ Shimoni ” jetty.

0900 Hours: Boarding The Dhow . Begin your leisurely Cruise on your spacious wooden dhow. On deck, you can relax on big, comfortable pillows.

0900 Hours to 1000 Hours:  Coffee/ Tea and snacks on the Dhow

1000 Hours to 1030 Hours:  Dolphin spotting – Once out on the Indian Ocean, there is an approximately 90% chance to spot Dolphins.

You can stay and watch the dolphins for as long as you wish, and if you are lucky enough, they may join you for a swim in the Marine Park.

1030 Hours to 1115 Hours:  Head to Kisite Marine Park

1115 Hours to 1315 Hours: Snorkeling at Kisite Marine Park: some of the best underwater views in Africa, including corals, tropical fish, and turtles.

We offer snorkeling for non-swimmers, with life jackets and rings. You are provided with masks and snorkels and are accompanied by a certified and experienced guide. Assistance is also provided to first-timers.

1315 Hours to 1415 Hours: Soft drinks and sailing to Wasini Island: Enjoy snacks, fresh tropical fruit, and soft drinks on the dhow.

Sail back to the Coral Spirit Island restaurant (with a magical view of the ocean) and have a fresh Seafood lunch (alternate food options available).

The five-course menu includes crab, chapati, seaweed, octopus or calamari, lobster or prawns and fruit salad. You can also opt for a chicken or vegetarian menu. Red wine, prosecco, cava, and soft drinks are included.

The restaurant, built on coral architecture directly at the shores, overlooks the channel towards Shimoni.

Arriving at Shimoni KWS offices for ticketing. 0900/0930 board the certified dhows with life jackets on board to and cruise to the marine park. It takes an hour to Kisite Marine Park via going for dolphins on the way. We often see dolphins but can't guarantee 100% as are in the wild. We can say 85% possibility. On the way when seen, boat gets nearer to allow photo taking and enjoy there surfing for a while then head to the main destination, Kisite Island Marine Park. Kisite Marine Park is a famous snorkeling and scuba diving point where a variety of fish spices and endemic corals are found. Big shoals of fish if different colours in different areas each fish type colour at its own site. Guided snorkeling to help you see more fish and corals. Dolphins often visit the area and when see them in the park then you are lucky to swim closer to the friendly Dolphins - Have never been harmful to human beings instead are a security to you with anything harmful in the sea. With life jackets and floating buyers non swimmers can afford staying afloat and enjoy swimming and snorkeling. At the sandbank if tide is low those not wishing to swim can relax and play at the Sandbank and walk in the shallow waters. Here is all your time to enjoy the crystal clear waters blessed with all kinds of fish and coral types and colours you have never seen. After spending 2 hours at Kisite Marine Park Snorkeling and Swimming, then a boat ride to Wasini Island an hour time for your delicious Swahili Seafood Lunch. Rice with fish or crabs or both, potatoes, chapati, fruits and vegetables,soft drinks for you. Extras are lobsters, prawns , you can buy direct at the restaurant.
