For approximately €3000 (the price is approximate as it’s not officially disclosed by Disneyland Paris), you and your group of up to 10 people will benefit from six hours of guided tour with all the exclusive advantages mentioned above. Each additional hour will cost you around €500. Additionally, please note that if your group exceeds 10 people, a second VIP guide will be required, doubling the cost. Also, it’s important to remember that this price does not include park admission tickets or hotel fees for your stay.

How to do Disney in style: ask for The VIP Guide

To Disney or not to Disney? Or rather, how to go to Disneyland Paris without losing your mind or your dignity. Well, Tatler has the answer on how to do Disney in style: The VIP Guide.

Picture the scene. Your child wants to go on Hyperspace Mountain, a rollicking upside-down, in the dark, six-minute thrill machine. But the queue is an hour long, which is a bore. Enter your VIP guide, who, like the Disney magician he is, will magic away the line, whisking you to the front so you can leap straight into the rollercoaster carriage and head into the upside down.

Your guide will do all the thinking for you - which you will agree, other than queueing, is the most tiresome part of doing Disney. They will stick with you like glue for five fabulous hours, navigating the inner workings of the park like your own private security detail. They will physically take you to the front of the queue, and book you into the hottest restaurants (for princesses, it’s the Auberge Cendrillon; for pirates, it’s Captain Jack’s - Restaurant des Pirates, which is in the belly of the Pirates of the Caribbean ride; for feasting, Bistrot Chez Rémy, inspired by Ratatouille – order the ratatouille, obviously).

Your VIP guide will even take your children on a ride if you don’t fancy it, leaving you to relax and wait, look surprisingly chic in the sequinned Minnie Ears you have just bought (Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid and Cara Delevingne and are all fans).

Speaking of shopping, tres hot right now is Disney Fashion, Disney Village’s new shop dedicated to vintage, in collaboration with the cult Parisian second-hand label Culture Vintage. Take your cue from Queer Eye cutie Tan France who said Disney inspired his love of fashion and grab a soft-as-butter vintage Mickey Mouse tee. (And our secret hot tip: there’s a luxury outlet shopping village, La Vallée, ten minutes from the park, starring everything from Marni to Sonia Rykiel).

But back to fantasy for a second. Do you want to watch the parade? Your guide will cordon off an entire section of Disneyland Paris’s Main Street so that you have enough room to enjoy the display. And maybe Christof from Frozen will dance with you, and Minnie will blow kisses to your children.

And if you like the sound of having the park more or less to yourselves, opt for the pink confection that is the Disneyland Hotel (two steps from the entrance) and sneak in two hours before everyone else. In a rush? You can jet in for the day, arriving at Le Bourget, the other side of Paris, or helicopter in from the City of Lights in 17 glorious minutes, setting down at the Dream Castle Hotel. But once you are there, follow in the footsteps of Anthony Joshua, Kate Moss, Salma Hayek and the Kardashians and hit the Magic Kingdom with a guide at your side. Your children will love you forever.

The tour last 6 hours and while the languages are primarily English or French if your group does not speak either they will try accommodate where possible. The cost was €3000 for a maximum of 10 people, not including park entrance or meals.

It covers vip access to rides and shows where possible and special viewing areas for parades.

Disneyland Paris allows guests to purchase Premier Access, the equivalent of a skip-the-line fast pass, to some of its most popular rides. We’ve purchased Premier Passes on multiple visits to Disneyland Paris and have used both Disney Premier Ultimate and Disney Premier One passes in the parks many times.

What is Disney Premier Access?

Disney Premier Access Passes allow guests to enter a Premier Line for a selection of rides in Disneyland Paris. On busy days, the Premier Line will allow guests to benefit from a much shorter wait time and, hopefully, ride way more rides than they could otherwise! There are two types of Disney Premier Access:

Disney Premier Access Ultimate

Disneyland Paris Premier Access tip: this article covers the paid for Premier Access Passes. Priority and Easy Access Cards are available for guests with disabilities or a Long Term Chronic Disease and these are not paid for – you can find out more about these cards on the offiicial website here.

The Disney Premier Ultimate Pass covers one-time premier entry to 16 rides across the two parks (Disneyland and Walt Disney Studios) – guests can only ride each attraction once using the Premier Access Ultimate Pass.

With a Premier Ultimate Pass, you can enter the premier access queue at any time when you wish to ride – you don’t have to request a return time or enter at a specific time.

We’ve used Disney Premier Access Ultimate passes twice in the last 12 months. You can purchase the Pass on the official website (DisneylandParis.com) prior to travel or via the App up to 7 days in advance.

Disney Premier Access One is the pay-as-you-go equivalent of the Premier Pass Ultimate. Each of the 16 Ultimate Pass rides are available to purchase individually and start at €5. The most expensive ride is usually Crush’s Coaster with a Premier Access One Pass costing around €18.

There is one additional ride, Orbiton, available to purchase with Premier Access One. It is not included in the Ultimate Pass.

When you purchase a Premier Access One Pass for a ride you are allocated a one-hour time slot during which you can ride – the return time can often be immediate but, on busier days, you may need to wait a couple of hours to ride.

We usually purchase Disney Premier Access One passes every time we visit Disneyland Paris. Like most kids, ours are huge fans of the most popular rides like Crush’s Coaster, Big Thunder Mountain and Spider-Man and sometimes we just don’t want to wait in line!

How much does Disney Premier Access Cost?

Disney Premier Access prices vary depending on demand and time of year:

Low season days are currently priced at €90 per person, mid-season days at €120, high season days at €160 per person and peak season days at €190 per person.

If you are visiting for multiple days and planning to buy a pass for one of your days, we always recommend pricing each day – you might be able to pick up passes for less on one of the days.

The price of a pass varies depending on the ride and its queue time. Prices start at €5 and the most expensive ride is typically Crush’s Coaster which costs around €18.

Do Children Need a Premier Access Pass?

Children under 3 do not need to purchase Premier Access and can join an adult in the Premier queue. All guests aged 3 and over need to purchase Premier Access to enter the Premier Access queue.

What Rides are Included in Disney Premier Access?

There are 16 rides included in the Disney Premier Access Ultimate and 17 available to purchase individually through Disney Premier Access One passes.

Rides with 120cm height requirement:  Avengers Assemble: Flight Force

Rides with 107cm height requirement:  Crush’s Coaster

Rides with 102cm height requiremen t: The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror

Rides with no height requirement : Spider-Man W.E.B. Adventure, Ratatouille: The Adventure, Cars Road Trip

The list of rides included is often updated – Pirates of the Caribbean was added most recently in February 2024.

What’s not included in the Disney Premier Access Ultimate Pass?

There are some rides not included in the Ultimate Pass: most of the Fantasyland rides (Dumbo, Tea Cups, Casey Jr, Pinocchio, Snow White and the Carousel) are excluded. In Walt Disney Studios Slinky Dog, Cars Quatre Roues Rallye, RC Race, Toy Soldier Parachute Drop and the Flying Carpets are excluded from the pass.

The pass only covers rides. Fast pass access to meet and greets or shows is not included.

Is the Disney Premier Pass Worth it?

Disney Premier Ultimate Pass: the Ultimate Pass is great if you have one day in the parks and want to knock out the rides with minimal waiting time. We have purchased the Ultimate Pass on visits when we had a limited time in the parks and the parks were very busy – this is when you’ll get the most benefit from the Ultimate Pass.

When to purchase a Premier Ultimate Pass

• you have one day in Disneyland Paris and have a park hopper ticket that covers both Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios

• anytime if you are not worried about budget (for an extra special treat, you can also check out the VIP tours here )

When to purchase a Disney Premier One Pass

The individual premier passes are fantastic if you want to cut the wait time on specific rides. For example, our kids love Spider-Man W.E.B. Adventure and Crush’s Coaster, both of which have long wait times, and we sometimes purchase a Premier One Pass as a treat for them.

• if you want to ride a couple of rides with a long wait time and don’t want to wait in line
• for popular rides like Crush’s Coaster that always have a long wait time

How else can I ride all the rides?

Three words… Extra Magic Hour ! Extra Magic Hour is an amazing perk of staying in a Disney hotel where hotel guests can access the parks one hour before regular opening time – we always manage to ride everything when we have two Extra Magic Hours.

To avail of Extra Magic Hour, you will need to stay at one of the Disneyland Paris hotels.

Disney Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel: The 4* New York/Art of Marvel is an amazing deluxe option. A fantastic option for Marvel fans, the hotel has a beautiful swimming pool, a guest-exclusive meet and greet and boasts Downtown and The Skyline, which are among our favourite buffets and cocktail bars – check prices here!

Cheyenne: Wild West/ Toy Story-themed Cheyenne is a brilliant 3* option. Woody and/or Jessie visit daily to meet guests – check prices here!

Santa Fe: A highlight for Cars fans, the 2* Santa Fe is a great option within walking distance of the parks. We love the hotel meet and greet (we’ve met Minnie, Goofy and Pluto) and the Cars theming – check prices here!

Sequoia Lodge: The American National Park-inspired Sequoia Lodge is cosy and welcoming. It has old-school charm, a great swimming pool and a fantastic bar. Mickey, Donald, Goofy and Max visit regularly – check prices here!

Newport Bay Club: The 4* Newport Bay Club is nautically themed. We love the nautical swimming pool, the buffet at Cape Cod and the hotel meet and greets where we’ve met Minnie Mouse, Mickey Mouse, Daisy, Pluto and Goofy – check prices here!

Davy Crockett Ranch : a fantastic option for larger groups/families as the cabins can accommodate more guests. It is a short drive away from Disneyland Paris but rates include parking at the park and Extra Magic Hour – check prices here!

In Disneyland Park, we can usually ride Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain, Buzz Lightyear and most of Fantasyland during Extra Magic Hour. Or we do Peter Pan, Fantasyland, Space Mountain and Buzz Lightyear.

In Walt Disney Studios, we try to do Crush then Spider-Man and Ratatouille or maybe Tower of Terror.

This way, we’ve covered all the most popular rides without having to wait in the long lines that come later in the morning. This way we only have to purchase Premier Access One Passes occasionally if there is something with a high wait time that we really want to ride.

How does the Disney Premier Pass Work?

Once you purchase either of the Premier Passes (Ultimate or One), you will be issued a QR code in the App:

Guests with a Disney Premier Access Ultimate or One Pass can enter the ride using the Premier Access line:

You can monitor which rides you have already used the Ultimate Pass on in the App:

Does the Premier Access Pass skip the entire queue?

Not quite! How long you wait really depends on where the Premier Pass line meets the general queue. While the Premier Pass means you will walk on some rides almost immediately, there are some that still have considerable waits:

• Rides with Preshows: on rides like Spider-Man W.E.B. Adventure and The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror the premier access line meets the regular line at the Preshow so it can still take 15-20 minutes to move through to the ride.
• Rides where the premier and regular lines meet well before boarding: this is the case on Crush’s Coaster where it can still take 20 minutes or more to get on the ride.

• You can also add through the App if you have linked your tickets and are within 7 days of arrival.
• You can also purchase it on the same-day while in the parks.

If you do not want to purchase a Premier Access Ultimate pass for everyone in your party then you will need to purchase via the App.

Disney Premier Access One Passes can be purchased via the app on the day you want to ride.

• Go to the Home Tab on the App and you will see a menu with ‘Buy a Disney Premier Access’.
• On the Buy Tab on the App there is a button for Disney Premier Access
• When you click on individual rides on the Map (you can see the wait times this way) there is an option to purchase Premier App.

Make sure to check what time you are being offered as the next available time slot before you purchase – it is often immediate but sometimes there can be a bit of a wait before you can use the Premier Pass.

Guests can buy a maximum of 3 Disney Premier Access One per attraction per Guest per day, and a maximum of 12 Disney Premier Access One in a single purchase.

Depending on what your priorities are (like riding all of the top attractions or learning about behind-the-scenes secrets), they will find a tour guide who will be best suited to that to make sure you have the best day possible.

During the VIP Tour, the Tour Guides will share interesting facts, tips, and behind-the-scenes stories about the parks that really elevate your experience. The VIP Tour Guides are also experts at navigating the parks and always have a good sense of what is going on during the day. Beyond the basic knowledge of what is currently offered and not offered at the parks, they know the precise nuances of all of the park happenings so that they can help you navigate the parks effectively and make the most of your experience.

VIP Tour Guides can also pick up mobile orders for you to help you make the most of your time. You'll still pay for the food, but this can be a great time-saver.

VIP Expedited Access to Attractions

Another benefit included in Disneyland's VIP Tours is expedited access to attractions so you can enjoy as many offerings as possible during your park day. For attractions that offer Genie+ Lightning Lane, this will be through the Lightning Lane entrance. This includes some of the most popular rides of the park with Individual Lightning Lanes like Radiator Springs Racers and Rise of the Resistance. Guests will get the benefit of not needing to make Genie+ reservations or figure out the best time to ride during the day.

For attractions that don't have a Lightning Lane entrance, you will likely enter with your party from the exit, so the wait is shorter than what a Lightning Lane wait would typically be for these experiences. The ability to access rides with significantly shorter wait times, without needing to juggle Genie+ , stand in long lines, and strategize when to get on certain rides, is one of the biggest perks of the Disneyland VIP Tour.

Disneyland VIP Tour Reserved Viewing for Entertainment

During a Disneyland VIP Tour, you'll also be able to enjoy special reserved viewing for entertainment like fireworks, parades, and shows. You don't need to enjoy this reserved viewing during the time of your tour, and we do suggest seeing them outside of that time frame so you can fully enjoy the tour offerings.

Disneyland VIP Tour Pricing and Details—How to Get the Best Prices!

Disneyland VIP Tours start at $500 per hour for up to 10 guests with a minimum of 7 hours and a maximum of 10 hours (gratuities are not included), so the cost of this experience starts at $3,500. Prices for VIP Tours will be higher during peak times like Spring Break and summer, with the higher end of the current pricing scale currently around $800 an hour.

If you have more guests than 10, you will need another guide. The 10 guests for the tour cannot be changed. Once you book the VIP Tours, these are non-refundable when canceled 48 hours or less before arrival. Strollers and wheelchairs are complimentary with your VIP Tour. VIP Tour schedules are flexible within normal park operating hours.

The price of the VIP Tour does not include park admission, and you need to have Park Hoppers if you are planning on visiting both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure. You can book the VIP Tour experience about a year in advance, although the exact hourly rates may not be available until closer to the date of your tour.

I was reading on a website yesterday about a VIP tour for TRUE VIPs at DLP

As I was feeling nosey, I thought I would enquire. So I sent DLP an email.

Our VIP services offers VIP guides, and Tour guides, I assume you are talking about our VIP packages, to go to the attractions with less waiting time and having a guide to help you to organize your stay?

We have a package of 5 hours minimum, which costs 900 euros. Every extra hour consecutive to the tour is 200 euros, and all the extra hours non-consecutive to the tour are 250 euros. You will have a personnel guide with you, who will have an access to the family rides from a special entrance, to the big rides such as rollercoasters from the Fastpass line (5-15 minutes waiting time) and special places for the shows. The guide can also do your restaurant bookings for you, and share his knowledge about our parks.

If you are interested, I invite you to give us the following information:

-Name for the booking

-Status, Title

-What time would you like the meeting and where

-Any additional information that might be useful, such as age of the children

BTW I did mention 2 adults, 2 children. Not sure if that changes the price!!!

Ouch! Having said that, for most 'celebrities' that's pocket change so can see why they'd jump at the chance to skip the queues and have the best seats in shows

We saw an Italian family doing this during our trip the year before last. Mum was wearing a white leather mini skirt and four inch heels!

It would be great if I had money to burn. I would book it up ASAP :)))))

I would like special entrance, but not guide with me :)

She might not be able to jump queues but I still reckon Figgy could make a small fortune as a guide.

We were lucky enough to have a guide for a day and a half as part of a press event. It was truly fab and made the weekend all the more special, sadly it was a one off, so my five year old is going to have a bit of a shock when we go back and have to queue like everyone else :( my guide told me the price was 500 euros for half a day, maybe that's changed. It is also for a max of ten people, so if several people split the cost it could really be worth it (for a big event, birthday, anniversary). It does mean you can go on all the rides (more than once) in one day.
