Iron Maiden announce huge North America tour for 2024

The Future Past Tour is officially coming to North America!

Eddie

Heavy metal legends Iron Maiden have finally answered American fans' prayers by announcing that the critically acclaimed Future Past Tou r will be coming to North America in 2024. Following this summer's blockbuster run across Europe (plus a small handful of dates in Canada and a stop-off at Power Trip Festival in California), Maiden recently confirmed that they would be returning to Australia, New Zealand and Japan in the Autumn of next year.

Now, the band have released dates for a full US and Canada tour that'll follow soon after.

“We’re really excited to be bringing The Future Past Tour back to Canada and the United States next year," says Maiden bassist and band leader, Steve Harris. "We know from the reaction of our fans at Power Trip and the shows we played in Canada recently that they really enjoyed hearing new songs from both Senjutsu and Somewhere In Time, and we’ve really enjoyed playing them! Soit’s going to be a great experience for us to visit many other cities across North America and bring this new show to those fans who’ve waited patiently to see it. See you all in 2024!”

“The Future Past Tour is one of the most exciting tours we’ve ever done and to be performing both brand new material and songs that haven’t been played for many years with a mix of fan favourites has been a great experience for both the fans and the band," adds the band's longtime manager, Rod Smallwood. "The energy has been incredible and we can’t wait to continue bringing this amazing and innovative show to fans around the world next year.”

See the full list of freshly announced dates below. As well as those aforementioned dates across the US and Canada, the band will also play Santiago's Estadio Nacional in Chile on November 27. For ticket details, head to the official Iron Maiden website .

The Future Past Tour is a celebration of both Maiden's most recent studio album, 2021's Senjutsu , and the band's classic 1986, sci-fi-powered opus, Somewhere In Time , with Metal Hammer 's Merlin Alderslade giving the show a rave review in Prague, writing in his 4 and a half out of 5 review: "Maiden continue to age like fine wine. Metal remains lucky to have them."

Iron Maiden Plan Beastly North American Tour for Fall 2022

By Kory Grow

On the heels of their 17th album, Senjutsu , Iron Maiden will return to North America next fall for another leg of their ongoing Legacy of the Beast World Tour. The band originally kicked off the trek, which featured sets consisting mostly of fan favorites, in 2019 but paused when the world went into Covid-19-related lockdowns. When the group returns, it will add songs from Senjutsu to the set.

The general ticket on-sale begins on Dec. 10 at 10 a.m. local time on Ticktmaster.com . A fan club presale will launch on Dec. 7, and one for Ticketmaster’s Verified Fans platform will begin the next day; both begin at 10 a.m. local time. Trivium will open all dates from El Paso to Spokane, while Within Temptation will open from Sioux Falls to Tampa. See tickets here .

“We’re really looking forward to our return to North America so we can bring the Legacy of the Beast show to places we didn’t get to in 2019 and to other cities we’ve not played for many years,” Maiden frontman Bruce Dickinson said in a statement. “I’m really excited about the new additions and changes to the stage production, and we can’t wait for everyone to see what we’ve got planned. The whole band has really enjoyed the Legacy Tour and now we just can’t wait to get back out on the road to play live, have fun and see everyone again!”

Earlier this year, Dickinson revealed to Rolling Stone that he had contracted Covid despite being double-vaccinated, and he encouraged his fans to get the shot. “It is a personal choice,” he said. “Personally, I think people are just very badly advised if they don’t go and get themselves double jabbed as quickly as possible, not for the reasons of going into concerts, but for their own health.”

Iron Maiden performing live on stage, delivering an electrifying performance during the "Future Past Tour."

Iron Maiden, the legendary heavy metal band, recently kicked off their highly anticipated “Future Past Tour” in Slovenia to the delight of fans worldwide. The opening night of the tour proved to be a spectacle of epic proportions, leaving concert-goers in awe. However, it was the meticulously crafted setlist that truly stole the show, surprising and impressing fans with its bold song choices. Let’s delve into the thrilling details of Iron Maiden’s unforgettable performance and the significance of their song selection.

Unleashing the Madness: A Setlist to Remember

Iron Maiden took to the stage with an electrifying presence, setting the tone for an extraordinary night. The band treated the audience to a mind-blowing total of 15 tracks, carefully curated from different albums throughout their illustrious career. The setlist showcased an intriguing balance, featuring five songs each from “Somewhere in Time” and their latest release, “Senjutsu,” while also incorporating five beloved tracks from various other albums. This unexpected mix left fans buzzing with excitement and eager anticipation.

Surprises from the Start: An Explosive Opening

As the lights dimmed and the crowd roared with anticipation, Iron Maiden initiated the concert with an enthralling combination of “Evangelist” and the iconic “Blade Runner” intro. The atmosphere intensified as the band dived straight into the beloved classic, “Caught Somewhere in Time,” igniting a frenzy of applause and headbanging among the audience. The moment was particularly noteworthy as it marked the return of Adrian Smith’s awe-inspiring solo, performed live once again.

Journeying through Time and Space: Setlist Highlights

Throughout the night, Iron Maiden captivated the crowd with a series of captivating performances. “Stranger in a Strange Land” and “The Writing on the Wall” from their latest album injected a fresh energy into the concert, showcasing the band’s continued artistic prowess. A surprising inclusion came in the form of “The Prisoner” from the iconic “The Number of the Beast” album, a song that had not graced the stage since 2014, leaving fans pleasantly surprised.

Iron Maiden skillfully navigated their setlist, seamlessly transitioning from the haunting melodies of “Death of the Celts” to the infectious chorus of “Can I Play with Madness.” The band delved into the depths of their discography, treating fans to an exhilarating rendition of “Seventh Son of a Seventh Son.” However, it was the highly anticipated performance of “Alexander the Great” that truly sent shockwaves through the venue, marking its live debut and leaving a lasting impression on fans.

A Thoughtful Journey: The Artistry of the Setlist

Iron Maiden’s setlist stood out not only for its song selection but also for its thematic cohesion. Each track, in one way or another, was linked to history, time travel, or the fear of the unknown, transforming the concert into a concept show reminiscent of a theatrical performance. This attention to detail elevated the concert experience, immersing the audience in a unique and captivating narrative.

Grand Finale: Nostalgia and Unforgettable Moments

As the main set drew to a close, Iron Maiden unleashed a powerful combination of “Fear of the Dark” and “Iron Maiden,” stirring the crowd into a frenzy. These classic anthems resonated with fans, serving as a reminder of Iron Maiden’s enduring legacy. The encore left an indelible mark with “Hell on Earth” and “The Trooper,” invigorating the audience with their unyielding energy. Finally, the concert reached its pinnacle with the iconic “Wasted Years,” providing the perfect conclusion to a night filled with unforgettable moments.

A Setlist for the Ages: Iron Maiden’s Unparalleled Excellence

Iron Maiden’s “Future Past Tour” not only showcased their timeless classics but also proved that the band possesses an arsenal of hidden gems within their discography. The carefully crafted setlist, with its surprises and thematic coherence, exemplified Iron Maiden’s unwavering commitment to their craft and the sheer depth of their musical journey. It may very well be hailed as one of the band’s finest setlists in their storied career, captivating fans old and new alike.

Iron Maiden continues to set the bar high, proving that their music transcends time and remains as powerful and relevant as ever. As the “Future Past Tour” continues its global conquest, fans around the world eagerly anticipate the chance to witness this remarkable spectacle and experience the magic of Iron Maiden’s unforgettable setlist firsthand.

Iron Maiden’s Bruce Dickinson Shows Up at Box Office to Sell Tickets to Secret Solo Gigs

  • Oops! Something went wrong. Please try again later. More content below

The post Iron Maiden’s Bruce Dickinson Shows Up at Box Office to Sell Tickets to Secret Solo Gigs appeared first on Consequence .

Legendary Iron Maiden singer Bruce Dickinson announced two last-minute shows at the famed Whisky a Go Go for Friday (April 12th) and Saturday (April 13th). Even more surprising, he showed up at the box office on Friday morning to sell the tickets himself.

“As we were holed up in our North Hollywood Rehearsal Studio preparing for the tour, we thought that since rehearsals were going so well maybe we should have a little fun and do something last-minute here in LA,” stated Dickinson.

Get Iron Maiden Tickets Here

He added, “Putting tickets for sale at an actual box office should remind people what it used to be like back when I started gigging! We’re raring to go and I’m just so excited to unleash this band on the world at the iconic Whiskey a Go Go.”

The shows will mark Dickinson’s first solo gigs in 20 years, and will precede a concert set for Monday (April 15th) at The Observatory in Santa Ana, California All three shows will serve as a warm-up for Dickinson’s international “Mandrake Project Tour,” officially kicking off on April 18th in Guadalajara, Mexico, and running through a July 21st show in Athens, Greece ( tickets available here ).

We’re guessing that Dickinson kept the ticket prices relatively low for the secret gigs, as he recently called out U2 for charging $1,200 for their recent shows at The Sphere in Las Vegas.

Dickinson is touring in support of his new solo album, The Mandrake Project , which arrived last month. The album is accompanied by a comic book series that’s rolling out over 12 quarterly issues.

Fans can also catch Dickinson when Iron Maiden embark on a North American tour in October. Tickets to those shows are available here .

Dead by Daylight Goes to Eleven with the Iron Maiden Collection

Feb 22, 2024 ·

Riffs that will melt your face off. Solos that make your fingers bleed. Hooks that take your breath away.

The legendary heavy metal band Iron Maiden and Dead by Daylight have teamed up to bring their beloved figurehead, Eddie, to The Fog in an electrifying new Collection.

Equally as iconic as their heart-pounding music, Eddie and his menacing grin have graced nearly all of the band’s album covers, t-shirts, and merch. Not to mention bedroom walls, school desks, and notebooks everywhere too.

Whether appearing as an all-powerful pharaoh, a cyborg cop, or a tree monster, Eddie has shape-shifted and evolved at every turn, proving that time and space are his to conquer. His reach now stretches even further, making its way into the twisted world of Dead by Daylight.

We’re proud to introduce the Iron Maiden Collection , which features Eddie-inspired Legendary Outfits for The Dredge, The Doctor, The Deathslinger, The Oni, and Very Rare Tour shirts for all of our original Survivors.

Iron Maiden fans, this one's for you.

The Dredge—Eddie’s Tribute—Legendary

Inspired By: X-Factor (1995)

Many iconic forms of Eddie merged into one. A nightmarish chimera of arms, torsos, heads and hands centered around an electric guitar. It’s itching to play some of Iron Maiden’s iconic riffs.

The Doctor—Pharoah Eddie—Legendary

First appearance: Powerslave (1984)

A merciless ruler who wielded ultimate power over his subjects. His victims quaked in fear as their screams echoed within his hollow chest. He raised his scepter over his fallen subjects, as a triumph of his reign of terror.

IronMaiden_Doctor.png

The Deathslinger—Stranger Eddie—Legendary

First appearance: Stranger in a Strange Land (1986)

A ruthless bounty hunter with mechanical flesh and a glowing eye. Armed with a hi-tech speargun, he left despair in his wake everywhere he went. Nothing would stop him from catching his bounty.

IronMaiden_Deathslinger.png

The Oni—Samurai Eddie—Legendary

First appearance: Senjutsu (2021)

A fearsome Samurai who travelled the land looking for a worthy opponent. It was said death itself lurked in his eyes as he stared down his foe while reaching for his blade.

All Survivors—Eddie’s Live Shirt—Rare

Sometimes a concert is so enthralling it leaves you mesmerized. Dazed. As if you entered another realm entirely. This Iron Maiden t-shirt commemorates Eddie’s Killer Realm Tour.

“What an exciting new collaboration for us to explore,” remarks Kirby Taylor, Product Manager on Dead by Daylight. “Flipping through some of Eddie’s iconic appearances and seeing which Killers we could pair them with was a blast. Our team did an amazing job in filling in some gaps, as some of the looks we based the Outfits on only featured a partial look at Eddie, not his whole body. In addition, our Survivors can get in on the fun as well with some tour t-shirts. A couple of those even have a little surprise as well, depending on the Survivor, but we’ll leave that up to players to find 😉”

There are some tour stops you don’t come back from. Dead by Daylight’s Iron Maiden Collection is available now.
