Frequently Asked Questions

How do i purchase a tour bus from master's transportation.

Master’s Transportation uses a low-pressure, consultative sales approach. Our goal is to match you with the right bus or buses to suit your needs.   If you would like to learn more about our available inventory, we invite you to browse our online catalog and submit a quote request. You can also contact our sales team by phone for more personalized service.

How much do tour buses cost?

Master’s Transportation’s large inventory allows us to offer extremely competitive pricing on all new and used motor coaches and travel vans. Our prices are some of the lowest in the industry because we receive volume discounts from our long-standing partners in manufacturing.

With that being said, several factors will impact the cost of your bus or van. These factors include the model, age, mileage, equipment package, and financing method you select.

Can I finance a new or used travel bus?

Yes, Master’s Transportation offers several financing and leasing options , including:

  • Operational leases
  • Short-term lease
  • Financed leases
  • Trac leases
  • Purchase financing

Our tour buses can be leased for seasonal or yearly time frames, depending on your needs.

Leasing is an excellent choice due to the ongoing semiconductor chip shortage, which has limited the in-stock inventory of our tour buses for sale.

If you are looking for a way to unlock additional savings, take advantage of the Section 179 IRS deduction to reduce your tax obligations.

Do you offer repair services or parts for tour vehicles?

Of course we do! Beyond sales and rentals, we also serve as a reliable partner for tour bus repair and maintenance services, in addition to having access to thousands of parts for commercial vehicles spanning a wide range of makes and models.

How many passengers can a tour bus hold?

The seating capacity of your vehicle will vary greatly depending on which model you choose. For instance, our tour vans typically carry between 10-15 passengers whereas our large motor coaches can accommodate as many as 75 tourists. We also offer intermediate-sized tour buses that can accommodate 15-30 guests.

Do tour bus drivers need a CDL?

Tour bus drivers must possess a CDL if they are operating a vehicle that can accommodate more than 15 passengers. Tour vans or buses that carry 15 passengers or less do not require a CDL to drive.

Can I buy a tour bus that is located in another city or state?

Of course! Master’s Transportation offers nationwide delivery. If you have found the perfect tour bus, but it is located outside of your state of residence, give us a call. We can arrange for the vehicle to be delivered straight to you.

Can I rent one of your tour buses or vans?

Yes! Master’s Transportation is the nation’s largest commercial bus rental company. Whether you need a short-term or long-term rental, we will be glad to assist.

Parker McCollum’s New Tour Bus Begs One Very Important Question

These days when Parker McCollum pulls up to a show, he can be found in his brand new, custom-designed tour bus.

The singer shared a video tour of the new bus in early March, showcasing a sleek, modern design with white floors that feature a marbled look. The rest of the bus follows a white/taupe/gray color scheme, with stainless steel appliances in the kitchen and gold accents in the bathroom.

The luxurious home on wheels is certainly pristine now, but one may wonder how it will fare when the wear and tear of the road begins to show. McCollum tells Taste of Country Nights' Evan Paul he's not worried about keeping the bus clean.

"It's pretty easy," he says of cleaning the bus. "I've got a Dyson that charges at all times up at the front, and I stay on it, man. I try to be real organized, and it gets a little messy at times, but I keep it pretty OG."

The singer also shared one specific rule he has for anyone who enters the bus — especially after muddy fair or festival shows.

"Better take them shoes off before you get up on that bus," he says. "One hundred percent. There will be a mat for your shoes."

McCollum is certainly a pro at keeping his bus clean, but, as he reveals in the interview, that tidiness also extends to his home life with wife, Hallie. He says he's often on dish duty at home, and it's a chore he takes seriously.

"I like all the plates to be clean before they're put in there," he says. "It's easier on the dishwasher — it's less grime and food it's gotta deal with. I like it real organized."

"We're very clean, very organized. Most of the time," he adds.

McCollum is on tour throughout the spring and summer. He's also on the brink of another No. 1 song with  "Handle on You," and he will drop his Never Enough album on May 12.

Tripadvisor Reviews

Tyler Marie was our wonderful guide on this small bus tour of NYC. She was upbeat and so knowledgeable and happily answered our questions. Would definitely recommend this 6 hour tour. Frequent stops at highlights broke up the time nicely. We had fewer than 30 people on our bus. Our tour never felt rushed! Great experience.

Gil was an amazing tour guide. We booked the 6 hour NYC tour and I can not imagine a better way to see all that we saw in half a day. We started in Times Square, we were educated on history and architecture throughout our day. We made stops in Central Park, Rockefeller Center, Madison Square, the 911 Memorial, Ferry to Staten Island w views of The Statue of Liberty, & so much more. Worth every penny!

2.  THE RIDE New York City

Double-decker bus tour not your thing? Amp up your usual sightseeing excursion with this dynamic part-show, part-city tour. Yes, it’s as wild and wonderful as it sounds. The multi-million-dollar bus (yep, you heard that right) offers outward-facing stadium seating with floor-to-ceiling glass windows. It's a blast.

New York Bus Night Tour

3.  New York Bus Night Tour

This after-hours tour starts in midtown Manhattan, then drives past iconic and illuminated landmarks like the Empire State Building, Times Square and Chinatown, with expert commentary on the city’s history and celebrity residents along the way. There will also be time to stretch your legs during the four-hour excursion, with guided walks in High Line Park and Grand Central Station. And trust us, all those glittering, gleaming views of Manhattan at night are just as glorious as billed.

Sex and the City Hotspots Tour

4.  Sex and the City Hotspots Tour

Has there been a better unofficial NYC spokesperson than Carrie Bradshaw herself? This bus tour pays homage to the New York-loving sex columnist by spotlighting all of the hotspots from the original stint of the hit HBO show. (Alas, locations from the  And Just Like That  reboot aren’t featured, so no Che Diaz sightings here!) B oard the bus and get reacquainted with some of your favorite Sex and the City settings, like Steve and Aidan's bar Scout — where you can stop to sip a Cosmo, of course — the Pleasure Chest, where Charlotte bought her 'Rabbit' vibrator, and Carrie’s iconic stoop. Jimmy Choos optional!

Brooklyn, Bronx and Queens Coach Tour

5.  Brooklyn, Bronx and Queens Coach Tour

Manhattan may get a lot of the glory, but this comprehensive tour (it lasts for four-and-a-half hours) takes you through three equally deserving boroughs that made New York, well, New York. (Sorry, Staten Island!) Board in midtown and drive north through the Upper East Side to Spanish Harlem and the Bronx. Check out Yankee Stadium and the Italian enclave on Arthur Avenue before crossing into Queens. You’ll drive through Astoria and Long Island City before entering Brooklyn, where you’ll explore trendy ‘hoods including Greenpoint and Williamsburg. There’s just enough time left to drive over the iconic Brooklyn Bridge for one last look at the New York City skyline. Lush .

Birthplace of Hip Hop Tour - Harlem & The Bronx

6.  Birthplace of Hip Hop Tour - Harlem & The Bronx

Like R euben sandwiches, eggs Benedict and Martin Scorsese, hip-hop was born right here in New York City. Discover the origins of the groundbreaking musical genre on this bus tour of Manhattan, Harlem and the Boogie Down Bronx . Led by a grandmaster —no, not Flash, but similarly legendary emcees like Kurtis Blow, Johnny Famous, Roxanne Shante and Reggie Reg — the excursion starts at the location of the first hip-hop party in Manhattan before heading uptown to iconic spots like the Apollo Theater, the Graffiti Hall of Fame and Yankee Stadium. You’ll get to watch a real b-boy and b-girl dance session, snap photos in front of famous murals dedicated to Big L and Kool Herc, and even learn how to freestyle!

Superhero Film Tour of New York

7.  Superhero Film Tour of New York

From Spider-Man to Batman to Jessica Jones , New York City has played home to many a superhero. On this sightseeing tour, you’ll see around 40 locations featured in your favorite super-powered TV shows and movies, from the setting of the Battle of New York in The Avengers to The Daily Planet building from the Superman franchise to the exact spot where Danny Rand flips over a cab in Iron Fist . This is one fascinating exploration that will make superhero fans and comic-book buffs very happy indeed.

Sunday Harlem Gospel Guided Tour

8.  Sunday Harlem Gospel Guided Tour

Explore the culture of Harlem, one of the meccas of Black-American identity, on this guided tour. The tour visits both iconic and lesser-known attractions, such as  Columbia University, the Cotton Club and the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture. After visiting the Apollo Theater, where Michael Jackson once performed, and the famous stretch of 125th Street, where Duke Ellington lived, guests will be welcomed by a local congregation to participate in a Gospel mass.

Gossip Girl Bus Sites Tour

9.  Gossip Girl Bus Sites Tour

Follow in the footsteps of Blair Waldorf , Serena van der Woodsen and the rest of the Constance Billard crew and explore many of the show’s glamorous locations on this three-hour bus tour, including The Empire Hotel (where Chuck Bass lived and worked), the Vera Wang boutique where Blair tried on her wedding gown and, of course, those iconic steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, where you can take a photo op.

The Sopranos Filming Locations Bus Tour

10.  The Sopranos Filming Locations Bus Tour

First thing’s first: yes, we know that The Sopranos largely takes place in New Jersey. But just like Jersey residents proudly tout “NJ/NYC” in their Instagram bios, we’re going to lovingly co-opt the crime drama as our own. Starting in midtown Manhattan and crossing over into the Garden State, this Jersey-set tour will feature key locations from the Mafia-inspired HBO series, including the diner where Chris was shot, the spot where Big Pussy spoke with the FBI and the booth in Tony’s restaurant where the final episode was filmed. You’ll also catch a glimpse of Satin Dolls (the Bada Bing bar).

Review: The Big Bus Tour in New York City

I absolutely loved the Big Bus Tour in New York City. It’s the best way to go sightseeing in an open-top, hop-on hop-off, top-rated tour and explore the best New York attractions !

If this is your first-time visiting New York and you want to see all the top landmarks, this double-decker tour bus will take you there.

The Big Bus Tour in New York

You may be wondering if a hop-on hop-off bus is worth it. Absolutely, yes!

If you consider the time and money spent on transportation costs, waiting for buses, navigating the subway (which can be confusing for visitors), and getting from one point of interest to another, it is worth every dollar!

I had a great visit to New York City on Big Bus Tour. My goal was to show the city to some friends from Italy who were visiting the US for the first time.

Since we only had about two days to spend together, the hop-on hop-off was undoubtedly the best decision.

From our experience, we’ll answer commonly asked questions about the Hop-on Hop-off bus while visiting New York City.

Google Reviews

Why take the big bus tour in new york.

While seeing New York from the open-top deck of the double-decker bus, the city unfolded block by block with panoramic views from every angle.

As we traveled through the streets, the sights were unobstructed and new visual backdrops were revealed.

The towering skyscrapers and colorful billboards filled the air with excitement and as the cityscape continued to change, it gave a grand feeling to the experience.

I especially enjoyed being able to relax from the upper deck of the bus while taking in the energy of city scenes.

Because I also live in a large city, the rhythm felt familiar from the elevated vantage point .

Car horns were honking, crowds traversed through the streets and there was an endless hum of activity.

Best of all, the tour gave me the chance to interact with other travelers who were seeing New York while waiting for the tour to began.

We struck up conversations and exchanged stories, insights, and recommendations during our stay in New York.

How Much is the Big Bus Tour in New York

The regular price of an adult and child ticket is $60.00 and $50.00, respectively. However, you can use the link below for discounted fares.

Get discounts for the Big Bus Tour NYC  here .

How Long is the Big Bus Tour in New York

The round-trip New York City Big Bus Tour takes about two hours from start to finish.

The bus is the perfect solution for visitors worldwide because they offer pre-recorded audio narratives and translations in five languages — French, German, Spanish, Italian, and English.

Are There Toilets on the Big Bus

No. Unlike charter buses, you won’t travel long between stops. So the best thing to do is exit at a stop, find a public restroom, see an attraction, if desired, and then catch the next bus.

If you are not sure where to find one, ask a Big Bus guide on the street. The driver may also have some suggestions.

Charter buses come equipped with a bathroom because travel is expected to be for a much longer period.

How Does the Big Bus Tour Work in New York City

The tour offers three options for purchase — 1-day, 2-day, and 3-day.

When you decide the number of days of your tour and purchase your ticket, the clock starts when your ticket is scanned while boarding the bus for the first time.

The ticket is good for 24, 48, or 72 hours. So, if you have a 1-day ticket and board the bus at 11:00 AM on Monday, it can still be used until 11:00 AM on Tuesday.

We found a ton of touring options for sightseeing in New York.

Aside from the extended period, the 2 and 3-day tickets also offer discounted bike rentals.

The buses run every 20 minutes on average. However, the first stop at the M&M store can be a long wait during peak season.

You can exit or board at any of the designated stops as much as you want.

The only exclusion is the one-loop tour Night Tour which is a panoramic non-stop tour.

Where to Catch the Big Bus Tour in New York City

During the tour, the buses only stop at designated stops.

Your ticket is good for as long as the buses operate during the day and it may be used on both the red and blue routes.

When you board, make sure you get a hop-on hop-off New York bus route map!

Big Bus NYC Red Route

The red route sightseeing tour covers lower Manhattan and you’ll see many landmarks like St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Wall Street, the Chrysler Building, and General Grant’s Tomb.

You can catch a tour at any one of the following bus stops and you can get your tickets in advance of boarding.

1 – M&M’s World – 7th Ave & W 48th St (Outside M&M World & Majestic Deli)

2 – Times Square East – W 42nd St & Broadway (at Knickerbocker Hotel)

3 – Empire State Building / Korea Town – 5th Ave & W 32nd St (at CVS Pharmacy)

4 – Flatiron District – 5th Ave & W 23rd St (at Eisenberg’s Sandwich Shop)

5 – SoHo – Broadway and Spring Street (at Nike Store)

6 – Chinatown / Little Italy – 100 Lafayette Street (near the corner at Walker St)

7 – Brooklyn Bridge – Park Row & Beekman St (across from 33 Park Row)

8 – Wall Street / Charging Bull – Broadway & Wall St (Southwest corner near Rector St)

9 – Statue of Liberty / Battery Park – State St and Bridge St (at Subway Entrance)

10 – Circle Line Sightseeing – 12th Ave & 40th St (opposite Pier 81)

11 – Times Square North – 7th Ave & W 50th St (at Majestic Deli)

Big Bus NYC Blue Route

The blue route covers upper Manhattan, and half of the ride is mostly views of Central Park. You can switch to the blue route at red stop #2.

Tips and Things to Know Before You Go

The bus has two levels, the upper level offers panoramic views of the city but be careful of overhanging traffic lights and trees. Don’t stand while the bus is in motion.

  • After you find a seat, check the audio to confirm it is working.
  • Snacks are allowed. Bring a frozen bottle of water and protein bites to keep you energized.
  • When on the upper deck, cover up with sunscreen to protect your skin on hot sunny days.
  • If you are a family of 3 or more, take seats across from one another so you’ll have views and photos from both sides of the bus.

Tourists were lined up at stop #1 at least an hour before departure and the line extended the entire block and rounded the corner.

We decided to see other points of interest and returned around 11:00 AM.

The wait to board the bus was about 20 minutes. It was a relaxing ride and there we saw so much!

By the time we reached stop #9, we were pumped and ready to exit the bus so that we could explore the city! And you probably will be too.

Here’s the secret sauce that really made the experience memorable. Exit at stop #9 and take a FREE ferry to Staten Island.

To see the Statue of Liberty, stand on the left side of the boat. When returning, stand on the right side.

Final Thoughts About the Big Bus Tour in New York City

Overall, the tour was a pleasant way to see New York city and when you are on the upper deck, you hardly notice the traffic.

Some other advantages of seeing the city by bus include:

  • Avoiding parking hassles. I mean, who actually drives in New York?!
  • Photo opportunities. With the open-top or large windows, you have excellent photo opportunities as you pass by iconic landmarks and cityscapes.
  • Comprehensive sightseeing of major landmarks and attractions within two hours.
  • You can get local recommendations from the guides who operate the bus.

I usually opt for a hop-on hop-off bus when I am short on time or to get my bearings in the city before deciding what to do.

Either way, when you take the tour bus, it doesn’t appear impossible to take a bite out of the Big Apple.

Happy Travels!

FOUNDED IN 1990...

Our objective and business model has always been very simple and straight forward:

DO BUSINESS WITH INTEGRITY...

Today, our fleet of nearly sixty coaches has been built and tailored to help meet the budget of most every touring band...

We offer both Prevost and MCI Entertainer Coaches as well as Executive Limo Styled Coaches...

Check out this video to give you an up close and personal look at who we are...

STAR COACHES: THE PIONEER OF THE EXECUTIVE LIMO COACH...

After meeting with numerous coach builders who turned him down, Danny met with Jerry Calhoun, the Godfather of the rock & roll bus industry.

The meeting was brief and to the point.  Jerry asked Danny to write down references and then told him to go to lunch...

When Danny returned from lunch Jerry said "Go pick out a bus, I believe in you!"

Since 1990 and millions of dollars later, the relationship between Danny Hamilton and Jerry Calhoun has been very special.

FEATURED ON CELEBRITY MOTOR HOMES

14 BUNKER COACHES

new tour bus

Many years ago, and thanks to our friend George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic, we made a decision to convert some of our coaches from 12 bunkers to 14 bunkers...

This move has opened the door to helping bands save money by "sharing a bus" with an opening act, or carrying a full crew and keeping the cost involved to only one bus...

With a year round rate starting at $850 / day, our 2013 to 2016 model 14 bunker coaches can really make a difference to bands and touring theatrical shows that are faced with tight budgetary restraints...

OUR DRIVERS GIVE BACK…

"GUYS, FIGURE OUT A WAY TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE TO OUR CLIENTS."

We knew that the economy was going to tank. We didn't know when, or how bad things would get, we just knew the bubble was going to burst.

Over the course of two weeks, we held countless phone calls with all of our drivers discussing their ideas on "how to make a difference".

They came up with many great ideas. Finally, our drivers decided that the best way to give back and make a difference was to change their overdrive structure IN FAVOR of the client.

Industry standard has always been, and still is, for a driver to charge an overdrive (equal to a days pay) after driving 450 miles.

Our drivers voluntarily and collectively, decide to break that mold.

Their decision was to NOT charge a client an overdrive at 450 miles, but rather at 501 miles.

This was a HUGE move on their part. Unheard of in the industry. They were mocked and ridiculed by their esteemed colleagues in the industry.

BUT... They made a difference.

So, ever since 2005, our great drivers have made a significant difference to our clients every day with their overdrive structure, which starts at 501 miles, not at 450 miles like our competition!

Our drivers WILL save you money on your next tour!

We are very proud of our drivers, especially those who have proven their dedication and commitment to Star Coaches over their many years of service...  And with years of service, comes miles driven...  Many miles driven!

500,000 miles is like driving across country over 200 times!  Most people NEVER drive across the United States!

We'd like to recognize those drivers who have logged over 500,000 miles with Star Coaches...

new tour bus

More often than not, when clients compare a Star Coaches proposal to our competitor's proposals, our proposal will "appear" to be more expensive.

Why? Because it is thorough...

It's NOT designed to be "pretty"...   it's designed to be accurate.   Actually, it is designed for you to end your tour BELOW the projected budget.

Don takes the time to prepare every single proposal for every single tour himself.

He suggests stop point cities on longer drives to keep a driver safe and legal.

While this level of thoroughness takes more time, it has been invaluable, especially for foreign clients that are not familiar with the geographical layout of the United States.

See for yourself what many consider to be the best, and most informative proposal in the industry, and then get ready to enjoy "coming in below budget" at the end of your tour.

TRAILER WEIGHT LIMITS…

Most of the time, this is not a problem, as most bands are staying within our 10,000 pound limit for GVWT (Gross Vehicle Weight, or a loaded trailer)...

By the way, for you Production Managers, our trailers weight about 4,500 pounds empty, leaving you about 5,500 pounds for the gear / merch...

Anyhow, a more frequent occurrence is that we find ourselves receiving a frantic call from our drivers at pick up stating that "this trailer is very heavy"...

So we instruct the driver to immediately weigh the full trailer, only to find that the GVWT is over 10,000 pounds... This becomes a new problem...

To battle this potential problem, we suggest making sure your packed load is less than 5,500 pounds, and if you must exceed that limit, act BEFORE the tour pick up...

Rent a box truck and a driver...

Star Coaches now has a small team of box truck drivers that can help solve the problem of a disaster at pick up...

If you can't get the gear to 5,500 pounds, let us know, and we will gladly assign one of our auxiliary drivers to your rented box truck from Hertz, Budget or UHaul...

Don't be THAT guy who is overweight at pick up...

  • DebbJ 0 contributions 4.0 of 5 bubbles Great way to get oriented to Moscow We started our Moscow experience with the hop on hop off. It was a great way to get orientated to the city. The additional optional tours were also good, we did the Metro tour which I highly recommend, we also paid for the Kremlin tour. The hop on hop off has three different lines all included. Only fault was the bus was sometimes full and you had to wait for the next one which was about 15 minutes (in the cold). Read more Written January 6, 2020

They suggested we do the 1 hour boat trip and said they would drop us to the dock. 1) they dropped us in the wrong place 2) they were lost because of the marathon Then the boat, after we finally found it: 1) stinking fumes, actually gagging 2) no commentary, in fact, no interaction unless you begged 3) offered us 2 for 1 icecreams as they had melted and refrozen as the fridge gets turned off at night Honestly, we enjoyed the afternoon in the boat but spent all of it laughing at just how awful it was!!! The red route is quite exciting and takes about an hour. The bus comes every 10 to 15 minutes. However the other two routes take about two hours each and buses come every 30 to 40 minute period. If the bus is full then you have to wait at the stop for the next bus. So personally I feel that not much can be seen this way. I definitely was not impressed. The boat element was wonderful, we saw some amazing parts of Moscow along the river side. The bus element was very disappointing as it only started at 10am and was finished by 6:30pm. It was extremely warm when we were there and it would have been great to do the tour in the cool of the day. There was also no air conditioning in the down stairs part of the bus. The green bus takes you on a longer route and ours took two and a half hours due to the heavy traffic. I would not recommend this trip unless it is raining or you want to fill in time. • WilliamDyer 0 contributions 1.0 of 5 bubbles Poor service on boat and too many waiting times on buses For the price, you should expect at minimum English speaking tour guides with decent experience, but at least in my case that did not happen both in buses and boats. And in the boat even tough we were 90% English speaking tourist at least, the tour guide spoke 95% of the time in Russia, and only 3 sentences in English, I really counted how many times she spoke in English. And at the end she asks us if we have any questions? Of course I told her I couldn’t ask her anything since I didn’t understand 95% of what she was saying. The boat tour is not worth it, just take the bus that would be my advice. Second minus is the waiting times, in the boat they made us wait an hour before it departed, and in many stops with the buses waiting times of 20-30 minutes. I actually think I lost that day around 2 hours doing nothing. Be careful. Read more Written July 10, 2018

New Forest Tour Bus | 3 Open Top Routes [2024]

Touring the New Forest by open top bus is a lovely thing to do, even for locals like us who live on the edge of the National Park. This guide to the New Forest tour bus will tell you all you need to know about taking the three routes around the area .

An open top bus tour of the New Forest allows you to see the sights more closely while enjoying the sunshine. This is one of the warmest and driest parts of the UK, so you might even be pleasantly surprised by the weather. (Though we always pack a mac. Just in case.)

Highlights of the New Forest National Park are all included on the trio of routes offered by local operator morebus (who also run the Purbeck Breezer routes that head west from Bournemouth).

The New Forest lies to the east of Bournemouth and Dorset, and is located in Hampshire. To find out how to explore this National Park by local bus, read on to find out the New Forest bus timetable for each of the three routes. Plus everything else you need to know before you travel!

Let’s hop on board.

Why travel on the New Forest Tour bus?

New Forest tour tickets

The price you’ll pay to travel on the New Forest Tour bus depends on your age, how large your party is and how often you want to travel. Concessionary fares are also available for those who qualify.

The minimum ticket validity is one day, and the maximum a season ticket that applies throughout the operating dates. Season and 7 day fares only apply to New Forest residents. Visitors can buy tickets valid for 1, 2 or 5 days.

1 day tickets

A ticket valid for one day costs between £7.50 for a resident child and £18 for a non-concessionary, non-resident adult. A group ticket for up to 5 is also available, and will work out cheaper if there are enough of you travelling together.

2, 5, 7 day and season tickets

2, 5 and 7 days tickets can save you money – if you travel on the bus enough to recoup the cost. Don’t forget that 7 day and season passes are exclusively available to New Forest residents.

At £24, a 2-day standard adult ticket is just £6 more than a one day ticket. So it may well be worthwhile. The longer the ticket duration the bigger the discount, but it’s only worth it when you’ll actually use it!

To give you an idea, a 5 day standard adult ticket costs £36 for non-residents. While resident fares are cheaper, verification is required. You’ll thus need to demonstrate you really do live in the New Forest by showing some proof of your address.

Cody Rhodes Says His Tour Bus ‘Was Up In A Big Fireball’, Everyone Is Okay

  • Oops! Something went wrong. Please try again later. More content below

Cody Rhodes says he’s more ready for WrestleMania than anyone after his tour bus caught on fire.

The day before WWE WrestleMania 40 Night One, Cody Rhodes revealed that his tour bus caught on fire. He wrote that everyone was safe and okay.

Before you hear it elsewhere – my tour bus caught fire last night ? Everybody is safe and okay The 2 items I grabbed before I got off will probably pop wrestling fans Again, thank you @PhillyFireDept — Cody Rhodes (@CodyRhodes) April 5, 2024

Rhodes then described what happened during an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show . He noted that he grabbed pictures of his wife and daughter, as well as his boots for WrestleMania, as he fled the bus.

“This is where my mindset is. Last night, one a.m., laying in bed, it’s the first time I’m gonna get a little sleep before we get into this big, big, big event that is WrestleMania. All of a sudden, loud bang at the side of my bus. Thought it was a gun shot. Terrified. Clammed up. Next thing I know, my bus driver tells, ‘We gotta get off this bus, it’s on fire.’ So my bus, it didn’t burn to a crisp, but it was up in a big fireball for a moment.

“The reason I share this story is I’m here this morning, non-flinching, and I grabbed two things off my bus when I thought, ‘This is it. This is the end.’ I grabbed a picture of my daughter and a picture of my wife, and then I grabbed my WrestleMania boots. There ain’t nobody here who is more ready for WrestleMania than me.”

"I'm coming in a little bit hot and here's why.. Last night at 1AM my bus driver yelled we gotta get off this bus it's on fire.. There ain't NOBODY here who is more ready for WrestleMania than me" ~ @CodyRhodes #PMSLive #WrestleMania pic.twitter.com/yO7EWO7OGJ — Pat McAfee (@PatMcAfeeShow) April 5, 2024

Packers set off on Tailgate Tour, with an eye on Brazil as well

new tour bus

GREEN BAY – The Green Bay Packers still are in the running to open the season in Brazil, but are unlikely to go to London this year.

The Philadelphia Eagles open the season on Sept. 6, a Friday, in São Paulo at Arena Corinthians, home to the Brazilian soccer team the SC Corinthians. The team that will play the Eagles has yet to be announced by the NFL. The Packers or the Cleveland Browns are reported to be the top choices. The Packers expect an announcement at any time.

"We are still in the running," Packers President and CEO Mark Murphy said Tuesday before the Packers Tailgate Tour bus departed Lambeau Field for southern Wisconsin. "I think we are either the first- or second-most popular team in Brazil. We are kind of the people's team. People really like the idea of a community-owned team. If we are chosen, we'll gladly go."

Teams designated for international games this year include the Eagles in Sao Paulo; the Minnesota Vikings, Chicago Bears and Jacksonville Jaguars in London; and the Carolina Panthers in Munich, Germany. The Packers have road games against the Eagles, Vikings, Bears and Jaguars. Divisional games are no longer automatically excluded, but Murphy said a London trip was not likely.

"I don't think that's a possibility," he said.

NFL DRAFT HUB: Latest NFL Draft mock drafts, news, live picks, grades and analysis.

Packers Tailgate Tour will cover 500 miles in southern Wisconsin

The 500-mile tailgate tour, which includes current and former Packers players, plus Murphy, will continue through Saturday. Announced stops include Kenosha, Beloit, Platteville and Sun Prairie. Unannounced stops also will be made along the way.

Current players on the bus include Elgton Jenkins, Kenny Clark and Rasheed Walker. Former players include Bryan Bulaga, Mike Daniels and Alex Green. Jenkins was on the tour in 2023, as well.

"I had a lot of fun last year," Jenkins said. "I like interacting with kids."

The current and former players each said they were excited about the Packers' prospects this year. In 2023, the Packers, against expectations, finished with a 9-8 record, defeated the favored Dallas Cowboys in the playoffs and nearly defeated the San Francisco 49ers in the next round. They did defeat the Super Bowl-winning Kansas City Chiefs during the regular season. Last year was expected to be a rebuilding year for the Packers.

Jenkins said Packers players during the offseason are getting ready for the coming year. "We have to be ready to start fast," he said.

Rasheed Walker gets positive reviews from bus mates

Rasheed Walker, who finished last season as the starting left tackle, got positive comments from Jenkins and former Packers tackle Brian Bulaga, who said he was looking forward to spending time with him on the bus.

"I could always kind of put a couple pointers in his ear for him and pick his brain a little bit about how he's doing and what he's thinking out there," Bulaga said. "At the end of the season, when he finally won that job over, I thought he did a nice job."

The Packers like paring former and current players on the tour because it gives the veterans a chance to mentor the young players. Jenkins and Clark are seasoned pros, but Walker, in only his second season last year, is still finding his way.

"If you're an offensive lineman and you're a young guy and you're starting, you're expected to hold your weight. It doesn't matter if you're a rookie, it doesn't matter what year, you're expected to hold your weight and play well," said Bulaga, who was drafted in the first round in 2010, became a starting tackle during the season and played in the Super Bowl.

Daniels, Clark looking forward to new defensive scheme

Defensive lineman Mike Daniels, who played for the Packers from 2012-18, is on his first tailgate tour. A fan favorite in Green Bay, Daniels said he was excited to meet fans in other parts of the state.

"People who don't live around the stadium have a different appreciation when they see the guys in green and gold," he said.

Daniels and Clark said they both were excited to see what new defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley will bring to the team. They are looking forward to a more simplified scheme, which will allow players like Clark to take off.

"You might as well get Kenny Clark's Hall of Fame jacket ready now," Daniels said.

Clark said Hafley will challenge everybody to be great.

"I'm excited about (the new scheme) being more disruptive. That's better for me," Clark said. "It will give you that mentality to cut it loose."

Alex Green had a brief career, playing for Green Bay in 2011 and 2012, and the New York Jets in 2013, but that made him no less welcome as a Packers alumnus.

"You always hear, once a Packer, always a Packer," Green said.

This couple lives in a school bus they converted into a luxury tiny home—take a look inside

thumbnail

In 2021, Tanya Nestoruk, 31, and Arya Touserkani, 38, were living in a four-bedroom house in Canada when they decided to sell it and move into a van.

"I love the simplicity and versatility of being able to live and travel wherever you want, have minimal impact, and explore new places," Nestoruk tells CNBC Make It.

Nestoruk, an environmental educator, and Touserkani, a photographer, lived in the van for several months when they realized they wanted something bigger. They decided on a school bus.

"We wanted to do something more adventurous and we thought the school bus would be a fun way to give a second life to a retired vehicle," Nestoruk says.

Nestoruk found the retired school bus on Facebook Marketplace. The seller was a school bus contractor, which the couple says was a blessing in disguise because it meant the bus would have up-to-date- maintenance records and be relatively well taken care of.

"Someone drove it on its last school run and then we took it home right then and there," she says.

The couple bought the school bus for $7,200, according to documents reviewed by CNBC Make It.

The two agreed they wanted to renovate within six months of their big purchase. During the renovation, Nestoruk and Touserkani tried to recycle everything they could from the bus, including donating the seats to a local kids camp and selling the luggage racks to someone who was going to repurpose them for their garage.

The couple wanted to renovate the school bus outdoors, but the Canadian weather had other ideas. They rented a workshop where they could consistently work on the bus.

Because they wanted to DIY the renovation, Touserkani tells CNBC Make It the two spent their days building and their nights googling and watching YouTube videos on how to do stuff for the next day.

"It was nonstop and we worked on it as much as we could," he says. "I got so obsessed with everything that needed to be done with that bus."

"It was a challenge because we weren't able to disconnect because we had to plan for the next steps while trying to do the current steps," he added.

The couple needed to stick to their six-month timeline because they wanted to escape the Canadian winter and travel to Baja California, Mexico.

"We were following the warm weather as snowbirds in training," Nestoruk says, laughing.

The couple spent roughly $30,000 and one year turning the school bus into their home. The bus has a bedroom with a king-sized bed, a living room with a custom pullout couch, a kitchen with a three-burner stovetop and oven, and a bathroom. They also found an RV washer and dryer on Facebook Marketplace.

There is hidden storage for food, an on-demand hot water heater, the couple's belongings, and much more.

Nestoruk and Touserkani say the thing people love most about their school bus are the two skylights they installed — Touserkani is 6'1'' and wouldn't be able to stand up straight on the bus without them.

"They provide so much natural light, and it really makes the space special for us," he says.

Nestoruk adds that the skylights were also a cost-effective way for them to raise the roof in key areas without having to do the entire thing.

The school bus has solar panels so the couple can be completely off the grid.

Nestoruk and Touserkani built stairs that lead up to the roof and had a friend weld a rear hitch deck that holds their motorcycles, which they use as their everyday transportation. There's also a table on the outside of the bus that they use for barbecues and whenever they have guests.

The two say they don't think renovations on the bus will ever really be finished, but they did stop work on it in November 2022 to head down to Mexico.

"We found there was a certain type of energy that the bus attracted and it was just fun," Touserkani says. "Everyone always had a strong connection to it. It's been a lot of fun interacting with people who are attracted to the bus."

The couple has been living on and off the school bus for over a year now and says that like with every living situation, there are pros and cons.

"You have to be proactive in your everyday chores which is good and bad. There's a freedom with that too, which is great, and we love, and then just the reality of it is that sometimes it can require more work," Nestoruk says.

"If you're signing up for living in any sort of a vehicle, there is always going to be some level of maintenance work that needs to happen. It's not as carefree as living in a house," Touserkani says.

The biggest concern for the couple is being environmentally conscious while on the road.

"We want to have as minimal impact as possible," Nestoruk says. "We want to promote environmentally friendly living to others, too."

The couple is currently on a break from life on their school bus and plans to eventually sell it and explore other tiny living options. They also want to build their dream home on Vancouver Island in British Columbia.

"We're hoping to enjoy the bus as long as we can and we hope that the next owners will take it on new adventures," Nestoruk says. "It has lots of life left."
