Tour 365 – The Magazine

At some point while processing out of country and just before departing Vietnam, I was handed the Summer 1971 issue of Tour 365 . The magazine was an authorized publication of the United States Army, Vietnam. It was published semiannually for distribution to the soldiers returning to the United States upon completion of their tour in the Republic of Vietnam. The 64-page publication describes the Vietnamese long-term struggle for independence and the US military’s historical involvement (According to the US Army.)  I believe the goal of this magazine was to attempt to give us returning soldiers a better perspective of our role in the war and maybe even some consolation and meaning to the extremely difficult challenges of our tours of duty. Perhaps some may view this publication as U.S. Army propaganda, however I am posting the entire magazine here strictly for its historical value and will let you be the judge of that.

Who are we?

365.tours was launched by the Croatian company OtoTrak in 2021 to make outdoor activities in Croatia easier to find and book.

OtoTrak has been making electronic equipment and software for safer jet ski rental since 2011. Seeing that there were many exciting rental opportunities along the Croatian coast that had no online presence and could not offer electronic payments, we decided to try and get them all together in a single place.

The offers on 365.tours have gone beyond just jet skis and Croatia, and are growing every day. We hope to make a name for ourselves as a great outdoors booking experience.

How does 365.tours work?

You can search through hundreds of offers easily by location and activity type. Add whatever you'd like to your cart, and checkout in a few clicks.

Our checkout page is protected by all the latest technologies such as SSL, and payment is handled by Stripe, a trusted payment infrastructure.

After checkout, you'll get all the information about your booking, including a QR code that you can show when arriving at the rental place. You can cancel most bookings at any time up to an hour in advance (but check the outlined cancellation policy as it depends on the organizer) to get a full refund.

TRANSPORTATION ARRANGEMENTS

All over the world., a complete fleet of vehicles when you need them, where you need them., contact us if you need transportation services.

To get to world No 1 is tough, but to stay there is even tougher.

Since the ATP Rankings began in 1973, 28 men have climbed to the top of the rankings and some have stayed there for extended periods, cementing their greatness.

However, while many have had a long period as world No 1, only six men have ever been able to spend at least one full calendar year at the top.

Jimmy Connors – 1975, 1976, 1978

One of the most dominant No 1 players in ATP history, only five men have bettered Jimmy Connors’ 268 weeks at the very top of the sport.

The eight-time Grand Slam winner spent 251 weeks at world No 1 during the 1970s – more than anyone else – and held that ranking for 160 consecutive weeks at one point.

That reign spanned from July 1974 to August 1977, meaning he spent the entirety of 1975 and 1976 as the very best.

After regaining the world No 1 ranking after just one week, he didn’t lose his grip at the summit until April 1979 – encompassing the whole of 1978.

Ivan lendl – 1986, 1987.

Lendl dominated throughout the 1980s, holding the world No 1 ranking for 238 weeks across the decade.

The Czech star first rose to the summit of men’s tennis in February 1983 and traded that ranking with Connors and John McEnroe across the next two and a half seasons.

But when he became world No 1 for a fifth time in September 1985, the eight-time Grand Slam champion remained at the top for three years.

That 157-week spell saw him finish year-end No 1 three years in a row, and reign supreme throughout 1986 and 1987.

Pete Sampras – 1994, 1997

‘Pistol’ Pete Sampras was almost unstoppable in his prime – particularly at Wimbledon, where he won seven of his 14 Grand Slam singles titles.

He dominated the No 1 ranking during the 1990s, spending 276 weeks at the top across the decade – with no other player making it 100 weeks during that era.

Sampras’ second spell at No 1 started in September 1993 and saw him spend 82 weeks on the trot at the top, spanning the entirety of 1994 before being usurped in April 1995.

But his longest spell at No 1 came in April 1996, spending the remainder of that season and the whole of 1997 as the best player in the world, before a 102-week-long reign ended in March 1998.

Lleyton hewitt – 2002.

The greatest Australian ATP player of the 21st century, few have matched Lleyton Hewitt’s competitive spirit.

Hewitt was a champion at the US Open and Wimbledon during his career – also being a finalist at his home major in 2005 – and spent 80 weeks as No 1 during the early 2000s.

Of those 80 weeks, 75 came consecutively, claiming the ranking for the first time in November 2001 and reigning until April 2003.

But that spell was long enough to see him on this list, reigning throughout 2002.

Roger Federer – 2005, 2006, 2007

A true great of the sport, few have come close to emulating Roger Federer, one of the most dominant tennis players in history.

Federer spent 310 weeks at the top of the game during his career and 262 weeks during the 2000s, with Hewitt’s 80 weeks the second-best of that decade.

The Swiss star’s 237-week run as world No 1 from February 2004 to August 2008 is the longest of any male player in history and saw him spend the entirety of 2005, 2006, and 2007 as the best in the world.

Novak Djokovic – 2015, 2021

No player – male or female – has spent as much time at the top as Novak Djokovic, with the Serbian amassing a staggering 423 weeks (and counting) as world No 1.

Djokovic first reached world No 1 in July 2011 and is still currently in the top spot, with few able to dislodge him from the top spot for too long.

One of his most dominant spells came in 2015 and he was world No 1 for the whole of that season, reigning from July 2014 to November 2016.

And, much like in 2015, Djokovic won three majors in 2021 during a commanding period as the world No 1, holding the esteemed ranking from February 2020 to February 2022.

Mickey Guyton Announces Tour and Shares New Song 'Scary Love'

Country star Mickey Guyton is set to head out on tour soon. She'll trek across North America starting this September. Alongside the tour announcement, Guyton has also shared a new song, titled “ Scary Love .”

A pre-sale for tour tickets will start tomorrow (April 30) at 10AM local time. Guyton will begin her tour in Nashville, Tennessee. She'll travel to cities such as Atlanta, Charlotte, Washington D.C., New York, Pittsburgh, Chicago, Minneapolis, Toronto, and Boston before wrapping things up in Lexington, Kentucky on November 9. Guyton wrote “Scary Love” with Emma-Lee, producer Karen Kosowski, and Victoria Banks in tribute to her three-year-old son. In a press release, she talked about her love for her son and how it influenced her latest single.

“There’s so many types of love, but for parents who truly love their kids, there’s nothing we won’t do for them," she said. "That kind of love is so scary because your heart is literally outside of your body and you’re seeing your heart grow up and become somebody. All you want to do is protect this person - that’s the scariest love that you’ll ever experience.”

Guyton released her debut studio album, Remember Her Name , in September 2021. Before that, she released four EPs. She’s more recently shared songs including “ Woman ,” “ I Still Pray ,” and “Somethin’ Bout You.” It's unclear whether these new tunes are standalone singles or part of an upcoming sophomore album. So far, Guyton hasn't formally announced any future LPs.

Connecting with the Eleventh District

President Lorie Logan is visiting communities all around the Eleventh Federal Reserve District as part of her district listening tour. The tour is helping deepen her understanding of the region’s people and economy by adding color and perspective that go beyond official statistics.

Logan is hearing from leaders, workers, business owners and teachers across the region. She is visiting companies, schools and nonprofits that play a part in fostering our rich regional economy.

City of Lauderhill launches ‘Peace 365’ seeking community pledge to stop the violence

LAUDERHILL, FLA. (WSVN) - The City of Lauderhill revealed its new plan to encourage the community to stop the violence plaguing their neighborhoods.

The new Peace 365 plan was launched on Monday in hopes of promoting kindness in the community.

“If I take personal responsibility for how I show up, the next time someone cuts me off in traffic, and I respond in a healthy way, then I’m contributing to the peace in this community,” said Commissioner Melissa Dunn, City of Lauderhill.

The city says the initiative is in response to “increasing incidents of violence.” Police said there have already been seven murders this year but the numbers are down in recent years.

“But over the last few years 2021, 2022, 2023, we’ve shown a steady reduction in homicides,” said Lauderhill Police Department Deputy Allen Siegel.

Peace 365 seeks community involvement to create a safer environment.

“Asking each person, no matter what role you play in this community, to take personal responsibility for making peace their practice on a daily basis,” said Dunn.

The city is asking participants to sign a pledge for peace.
