MEZZE To get you going, the table will be served with a traditional Greek mezze of breads, dips and olives. STARTER The iconic Greek salad with fresh cherry tomatoes, cucumber, feta cheese and onions all drizzled with olive oil and garnished with torn basil leaves. For vegan guests, the Greek salad comes with vegan feta. MAIN Confit lamb shoulder and slow cooked beef served with roasted garlic potatoes, courgettes peperonata, romesco and aromatic jus For our vegetarian and vegan guests, we present roasted cauliflower with a lemon-herb dressing and stuffed tomato with lentil ragout. DESSERT A sumptuous Greek lemon cake served with confit orange skin and citrus yoghurt. For our vegan guests, we will be serving loukoumades, delicious dough balls accompanied by a sweet fig jam. To get you going the table will be served with a traditional greek  meze  of breads, dips and olives.

The iconic Greek salad with fresh cherry tomatoes, cucumber, feta cheese and onions all drizzled with olive oil and garnished with torn basil leaves. For vegan guests, the Greek salad comes with vegan feta.

Mamma Mia! The Party is a theatrical experience where the action takes place at multiple points around Nikos Taverna.

There is not a specific stage-like performance area and guests will sometimes need to turn around in their seats to see the action. Every seat on each table offers a unique view.

The view from some tables on the terraces, upper terraces and balconies is obstructed by support pillars and/or parts of the Mamma Mia! The Party set.

Where that obstruction is regular and severe, affected tables are categorised as Tier C (restricted view).

All tables are subject to temporary obstructions due to the set and the nature of the performance.

Just like a restaurant, here at Mamma Mia! The Party you just give your name to the host on arrival and you will be directed to your table. Your table is allocated before you arrive and cannot be altered when you arrive.

Nikos Taverna is a sociable place so you may find yourself sharing a table with other guests depending on the size of your party.

Whilst you may be required to share a table, food will only be shared with your party (mezze) or on individual plates (starter, main and dessert). We cannot guarantee that large groups will be able to sit together due to table sizes, but we will aim to sit you on adjacent tables where possible.

On arrival, you will be shown to your table, given a welcome drink and a starter to enjoy for about an hour before the party truly begins.

Other notes and restrictions

The minimum age for Mamma Mia! The Party is 5 years old. Every guest under 18 will need to be accompanied by a legal guardian.

We must be made aware of any and all dietary requirements upon booking.

Price includes the above only, all drinks need to be purchased and paid for separately on the night.

From a morning pickup in your local area we travel by coach to our hotel. After check-in and some time to relax we continue on to London's theatre district, where there’s time to find somewhere for dinner before the evening theatre performance. After the show, the coach takes us back to our hotel for our overnight stay.

After breakfast, we head back into London for some free time to shop or see the sights. From a trip on the London Eye, to a spot of shopping on Oxford Street or a stroll through Hyde Park – there is plenty to do. We set off for home in the mid-afternoon.

Hotel Ratings

Hotels with a JG3 rating tend to be a more formal style of hotel, often part of a hotel chain, or are very-welcoming family-owned properties. Generally, they offer a greater range of facilities and services, and bedrooms tend to be a little more spacious with additional features. Public areas are larger and include lounge seating, bar and restaurant with good quality food served either buffet style or waiter service.

Accommodation in our JG4 category is of an even higher standard, typically offering a wide range of facilities and services. Bedrooms are designed to make your stay the most comfortable possible and the staff provide a service that reflects the detail and quality. You can also expect higher standards of food and beverages.

From a morning pickup in your local area we travel by coach to London's theatre district, in time for our matinee theatre performance. After the show, the coach takes us to our hotel for dinner and our overnight stay.

After breakfast, we head back into London for some free time to shop or see the sights. From a trip on the London Eye, to a spot of shopping on Oxford Street or a stroll through Hyde Park – there is plenty to do. Or why not enjoy an optional visit to the Tower of London (£32pp), one of the city’s most iconic attractions? We set off for home in the mid-afternoon.

Please note: We use central coach drop-off points for our London tours, so these breaks may not be suitable for those with limited mobility. You will be required to walk for around 15 to 20 minutes to reach your theatre and/or attraction.

Whilst we always try to ensure that parties are seated in the theatre together, very occasionally, due to the ticket allocations we receive, it may be necessary for parties to be split. We always ensure that couples are seated together.

Great Italian food - a bit expensive but acceptable, High Quality Italian food. Dessert wasn't great (Tiramisu). Free WiFi !

Just go there and enjoy the food! The black lenguini is just superb. And don't forget the icecream dessert in the shape of Che Guevara's head! (or Marylin Monroe if you'd like that better... :-)) Great terrace btw.

I visited this restaurant twice, on recommendation of a friend, and i haven't been disappointed. Good location really close to the metro station. The food is not mindblowing but tasty and reasonably priced. The interiors aren't stunning like some others mid-range Moscow restaurants and the tables are a bit small. If you are looking for an informal dinner and autentic italian cuisine that's the place for you

Overall I really liked it in this restaurant. The decor is nice and airy and the menu offers many tempting foods to choose from. Good food and nice staff. Overall a solid 4/5 for me because of a few inconsistencies. My mother-in-law ordered soup and salad, clearly stating she wanted salad as the main, after the soup. It arrived the other way round. Our starters were delicious, I loved my tuna carpaccio with delicious tomato chutney. But! The chutney had a huge piece of dried chilli flake, which made my mouth burn unpleasantly after biting it. Such things need to be either chopped finely, ground, or taken out before serving. Then came the mains, all of us had problems cutting our steaks with knives provided, even though they were supposed to be steak knives. My husband was struggling with his Chateaubriand, because the wooden block on four legs was sliding around tables. The worst of all, my main arrived only after the rest of our party finished theirs. This is unacceptable in such establishment. I had a veal steak with black pepper sauce, which, once again, I had reservations about. There were large pieces of partially ground black pepper everywhere on my plate and every time i bit into one of them by accident, the whole taste of meat just vanished, in exchange for a strong taste of black pepper, once again, nothing pleasant. I have cooked such sauces before and I believe they need to be sieved to remove all solid particles before serving. So there's still some place for improvement in this restaurant. However I am willing to forgive them these inconsistencies for the quality of ingredients used, great tastes and lovely presentation. Also, the wine list has quite affordable choices, a nice deviation from the usual. I would go again and give Osteria della Piazza Bianca a second chance...

We ate dinner here twice in while staying at a nearby hotel in December. Food was authentic Sicilian and good value. Friendly chef came round speaking to diners on our second evening.
