Vai sul sito www.studytours.it e clicca su PRENOTA (Vacanze Studio). Se sei in possesso di un codice prenotazione inseriscilo ora altrimenti scegli la destinazione e il periodo in cui desideri partire. COMPILA IL FORM, segui le indicazioni e completa la richiesta di prenotazione. Ti verrà assegnato in automatico un numero di pratica che ti servirà per finalizzare la prenotazione.

Una volta compilato il form di prenotazione, potrai procedere al pagamento dell’acconto. Scegli il metodo di pagamento più comodo per te tra Bonifico Bancario e Carta di Credito. Avrai a disposizione tutte le informazioni necessarie per effettuare il pagamento.

Al termine della procedura, StudyTours ti invierà via email le informazioni e i documenti necessari per finalizzare la prenotazione. Riceverai inoltre le credenziali per accedere a MYSTUDYTOURS, la tua area personale in cui potrai seguire in tempo reale lo stato della tua prenotazione e trovare tutte le informazioni riguardanti il tuo viaggio: - Il tuo profilo personale - I documenti necessari per partire - la tua sistemazione - Il tuo capogruppo - Le attività che svolgerai durante la vacanza - Il tuo saldo sempre aggiornato - Test di inglese on-line

Per prenotazioni oltre il 16 Febbraio le richieste di prenotazioni dovranno essere accompagnate dal versamento a titolo di acconto dalla somma della somma di 550 € oltre al pagamento dell’apertura pratica di 190€ oltre al prezzo della garanzia zero imprevisti pari a 210€. Dopo 30 giorni dalla prenotazione dovrà essere versato un 2 acconto della somma di 550€ dopo altri 30 giorni dovrà essere versato un 3 acconto della somma di 600€.

Each tour is led by one of our Study Leaders with expertise in the subject matter along with a Smithsonian Representative to handle all the logistics and comforts of the group. The study leader imparts knowledge both formally and informally throughout the tour, with methods that can include a background lecture, handout materials, narrating site visits, and stimulating social engagement with all participants during the course of the tour.

Study tours include day bus trips, multi-day and overnight tours, and shorter neighborhood walks or visits to specific sites. We offer over 70 study tours each year, and we hope you will join us!

Spend a day with horticulturist Chelsea Mahaffey exploring two captivating green spaces in the area— the Scott Arboretum on the Swarthmore College campus and the Brandywine Valley’s Mt. Cuba Center—and gather new ideas for your own home garden.

A day-long visit to the Brandywine Museum of Art led by art historian Bonita Billman brings the landscape of Pennsylvania’s Brandywine Valley to life and offers an opportunity to explore a trio of special exhibitions, featuring works by Andrew Wyeth, Jamie Wyeth, and Karl J. Dubbed “The Queen of the Washington Suburbs” in 1903, Cleveland Park is one of the District’s most beautiful and architecturally eclectic neighborhoods. With a rich history, the neighborhood boasts fanciful Victorian mansions, gorgeous gardens, and the National Cathedral, the second-largest in the United States. Carolyn Muraskin leads a visit to the National Cathedral’s grounds and explores Cleveland Park highlights including the site of President Grover Cleveland’s summer home, Red Top, and the McLean Gardens apartment complex, built on the grounds of the estate of an owner of the Hope Diamond.

EU urges China to use influence on Russia and Iran

Ursula von der Leyen says EU counts on Xi Jinping to lean on Russia to end war in Ukraine, limit Iran’s missiles and drones.

The European Union hopes China will help persuade Russia to end its war in Ukraine and limit an Iranian weapons build-up.

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen raised the scenario on Monday after talks in Paris with Chinese President Xi Jinping, which also included trade issues. The EU hopes Beijing will lean on its ally Russia and help stem Iran’s proliferation of missiles and drones, the head of the EU executive body said.

“We count on China to use all its influence on Russia to end Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine,” von der Leyen said after meeting with Xi alongside French President Emmanuel Macron at the Elysee Palace.

“President Xi has played an important role in de-escalating Russia’s irresponsible nuclear threats , and I am confident that President Xi will continue to do so against the backdrop of ongoing nuclear threats by Russia,” she said.

The meeting in Paris took place on the same day the Kremlin announced Russian President Vladimir Putin had ordered nuclear drills. The exercises were in response to statements by Western countries about sending troops into Ukraine, Moscow added. Macron said last week that his country would consider sending ground troops  to Ukraine if Kyiv requests backup.

Von der Leyen added her hopes that China could “play an important role in limiting the irresponsible proliferation of Iranian ballistic missiles and drones”.

Von der Leyen and Macron also pressed China on the topic of trade. They pushed Xi to ensure more balanced relations with the world’s biggest trading bloc.

“The future of our continent will also very clearly depend on our capacity to further develop in a balanced way our relationship with China,” Macron said as the three leaders sat at a round table.

Xi was in Europe for the first time in five years at a time of growing business tensions that include the EU investigating Chinese industries such as electric vehicle while Beijing probes French-made brandy.

Von der Leyen was more blunt, saying the relationship was hurt by unequal market access and Chinese state subsidies.

After the meeting, she told reporters that the EU “cannot absorb massive overproduction of Chinese industrial goods flooding its market”.

“Europe will not waver from making tough decisions needed to protect its market,” she said.

In brief public comments before the talks, Xi said he viewed relations with Europe as a priority of China’s foreign policy and that both should stay committed to the partnership.

“As the world enters a new period of turbulence and change, as two important forces in this world, China and Europe should adhere to the positioning of partners, adhere to dialogue and cooperation,” Xi said.
