Alesso gets back to his progressive house roots with nostalgic new single “Without You.” The track, both punchy and passionate, is reminiscent of Alesso’s early iconic hits, steadily building anticipation with heart-pounding beats until opening up into a rupturing melody.

“Without You” is the fan-chosen single out of three teased tracks on Alesso’s social channels. The release comes just in time for the hitmaker to perform during his just-kicked-off tour, which will continue through major cities and festivals across the globe this Summer.

After hitting No.1 on U.S. dance radio last year with a remix EP of “Words,” his crossover smash with pop star Zara Larsson, the Swedish dance hero has had a nonstop 2023. “Without You” is Alesso’s second offering this year, following “Caught A Body,” the endlessly danceable collaboration with Grammy-nominated superstar Ty Dolla $ign.

Lucky fans at Ultra Music Festival in Miami got a chance to hear that track teased live for the first time in March. Alesso also recently went back-to-back with Martin Garrix during an electrifying set at Tao Beach Dayclub. Alesso , one of the world’s most-recognized and admired dance music artists, has dropped another banger in the form of ‘Without You’ . The new single, released via Geffen Records , brings back fond memories for EDM fans of past generations as the Swedish DJ/producer returned to his progressive house beginnings. ‘Without You’ from Alesso starts off with pulse-pumping beats that perfectly transition to melodies that will leave the listener feeling energetic for the whole day.

Alesso’s ‘Without You’ became the track that fans voted for the most on his social media profiles (out of three teased tracks to be exact). In fact, nearly a couple weeks ago, he even teased the track on Twitter as well. Additionally, the release of ‘Without You’ from Alesso arrived right on time for his upcoming world tour this summer. Notable tour stops include Bonnaroo, Parookaville , and Tomorrowland.

Alesso’s release of ‘Without You’ is his second release of 2023. His first release, ‘Caught A Body ‘ alongside the Grammy-nominated rapper Ty Dolla $ign ,. For fans who attended Ultra Music Festival back in March, they got to listen to a teaser of ‘Caught A Body’. Furthermore, during EDC Weekend a couple weeks ago, Alesso turned up the heat at Hakkasan on May 18 and at TAO Beach Dayclub on May 21.

The release of “Without You”, just like with “Caught A Body” followed up on Alesso’s crossover success last year with Zara Larsson. His collaboration with Zara Larsson on the remix EP of Words led it to reach #1 on the US dance radio charts. Dance music maverick Alesso returns with his brand-new single, “Without You,” which is available today (Friday, June 2) through 11:22PM/Geffen Records. Bringing things back to his progressive roots on “Without You,” lands just in time for Alesso to kick off his massive Summer tour (see full list of tour dates below).

On “Without You,” Alesso rewinds to his early days as this new single is reminiscent of his iconic hits that helped catapult his career. “Without You” is both punchy and passionate – and what makes it even more special is that it’s a fan-chosen single. Alesso teased three tracks across his social media channels, and “Without You” was the chosen winner. A melodic, progressive house production, “Without You” is a showcase of Alesso’s musical diversity and a testament to his artistic range.

Alesso is more than just a festival headliner for some of the world’s biggest events, ranging from Tomorrowland to Ultra Music Festival, Electric Daisy Carnival and beyond – he’s progressed to a mainstream phenomenon. From crossover radio spins to a U.S. dance radio number one with “Words” alongside popstar Zara Larsson, Alesso has recently collaborated with Katy Perry on “When I’m Gone,” which is now RIAA certified Gold. “Without You” serves as his second release of the year, the first being “Caught A Body,” his new collaboration with GRAMMY-nominated Ty Dolla $ign. Alesso returns to our poll for the 12th consecutive year in 2023. The Swedish prouder, born Alessandro Renato Rodolfo Lindblad, is a core part of the EDM scene who continues to play its biggest events. This year, for example, he played Ultra, back-to-back with Martin Garrix at Tomorrowland, and plenty more epic stages around the world.

As well as that, he also had the privilege of playing live at this year's 2023 UEFA Champions League Final with the likes of Burna Boy. He appeared with Swedish singer Tove Lo and together they performed their 2014 hit 'Heroes (We Could Be)’, commenting at the time that, “As a big fan of the sport since I was a kid, it is a dream come true to be a part of football history.” Studio-wise, the master of a catchy hook served tunes like his chunky house remix of S3BZS's 'Montagem PR Funk' and the emotive pop anthem 'Caught A Body' with American singer and producer Ty Dolla $ign. With his signature melodies and Ty's soulful vocals, it harked back to '90s chart sounds and proved the latest hit in a long line of them for Alesso.
