easy smile tour

Exactly a month ago saw the release of The Smile 's debut album A Light For Attracting Attention . Expectations were high for the project, which brought together Radiohead's Thom Yorke and Johnny Greenwood with Sons of Kemet drummer Tom Skinner (Nigel Godrich, Radiohead's longtime producer, went behind the boards for this project as well.) Still, the LP managed to be a crackling success even in the context of the members' storied careers, and later this year, North American audiences will get the chance to see its songs performed live in concert.

The shows begin on November 14 and run for 19 dates in the United States and Canada. They will follow The Smile's ongoing tour of Europe and the United Kingdom, which began in May and runs until July. Tickets for the USA and Canada shows go on sale to the general public on June 17.

tour concert dates radiohead thom yorke

As the days grow shorter in late fall, there will still be something to smile about for fans of Thom Yorke , Jonny Greenwood and Tom Skinner. The first American tour by the group, collectively known as the Smile — and not to be confused with Greenwood and Yorke’s other group, Radiohead — has been set for late fall.

The trio’s shows in the U.S. will all take place in mid-sized theaters, beginning Nov. 14 at Providence, RI’s Veterans Memorial Auditorium and wrapping up just before Christmas with a Dec. 21 gig at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.

Stops along the way include two New York City shows early in the tour, at Brooklyn’s Kings Theatre Nov. 18 and Manhattan’s Hammerstein two nights later.

Other venues along the routing, most of them historic theaters, include Chicago’s Riviera, Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium, San Francisco’s Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, Toronto’s Massey Hall, New Orleans’ Orpheum, Detroit’s Masonic Temple and Portland’s Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall.

Tickets go on sale to the general public Friday at local time 10 a.m. An announcement from the band said to check the group’s website for additional information on ticket presales, but as of this writing, nothing is on the site beyond general on-sale times.

Popular on Variety

The Smile’s Nigel Godrich-produced debut album, “A Light for Attracting Attention,” came out for streaming and digital downloads on May 13. CD and vinyl copies will be released June 17.

A European tour began May 16 in Croatia and wraps up with a show in Sicily July 20. There’ll also be a one-off U.K. show at London’s All Points East on August 28 prior to the band taking to the U.S. in mid-November.

Thom Yorke most recently toured as a solo artist, prior to the pandemic in 2019, although he played one gig in Switzerland this past spring. For Radiohead, it’s been a longer gap, as the group last toured in the summer of 2018.

Reviews for the Smile’s debut album have been strong, with an aggregate score of 86 on Metacritic. Uncut magazine said the album “feels more like a refreshment, refinement or even fulfillment of Radiohead core principals, rather than an extracurricular dalliance.”

Don’t expect to hear the Smile play any Radiohead songs on tour, however; setlists from the European tour indicate shows are made up entirely of Smile songs, with the exception of a Yorke solo tune, “Feeling Pulled Apart by Horses,” that typically shows up amid the encores.

London’s Guardian offered a four-star rave review for the group’s show there, saying “Thom Yorke’s latest Radiohead spin-off, alongside Jonny Greenwood and Tom Skinner, excels the more it explores new territory in a thrilling frenzy of analogue synths and percussion. … The vast bulk of these songs are intense, layered and feature Yorke’s vocals and Greenwood on guitar. Exactly how is this not a Radiohead gig? Because Colin Greenwood, Ed O’Brien and Phil Selway are not here? So many of Yorke’s non-Radiohead projects have privileged digitals over instrumentation. It has been easy to interpret his extracurricular activity as the restless singer exploring electronic sounds that other members of Radiohead did not wish to. But the Smile is chock-a-block with guitars – electric and acoustic – with live drumming, and harp for good measure. … (Yet) the Smile are most musically convincing when they stretch farther away from Radiohead.”

Thom Yorke feels the music onstage.

Thom Yorke and Johnny Greenwood performed with their Rock and Roll Hall of Fame group Radiohead steadily from 1985 through 2021.

Sure, there were a few side projects here and there — who can forget Yorke’s work with Atoms for Peace or Greenwood’s menacing “There Will Be Blood score — but it seemed like a good bet they’d always return to the band that made their name.

Things changed in 2022 when the pair joined forces with drummer Tom Skinner to form The Smile .

A slick record called “A Light For Attracting Attention” and a tour quickly followed.

Now, a year later, their new band has become a fixture on the indie rock touring scene as they reach the final leg of their second nationwide trek in as many years, which includes a stop at Queens, NY’s Forest Hills Stadium on Friday, July 7.

And if you want to see the group perform their indefinable brand of atmospheric, anthemic jazz-rock fusion live, you can catch them for cheap this summer .

Well, at the time of publication, we found last-minute tickets going for as low as $14 before fees on Vivid Seats.

We know. We couldn’t believe it either.

Honestly, those prices make us…smile .

Sorry, we couldn’t help ourselves.

Want to see how much it costs to catch the band that’s definitely not Radiohead at the show nearest you?

Keep scrolling.

We’ve got everything you need to know and more about the remaining dates on The Smile’s 2023 tour below.

All prices listed listed above are subject to fluctuation.

The Smile 2023 tour schedule

A complete calendar including all tour dates, venues and links to the cheapest tickets available can be found below.

(Note: The New York Post confirmed all above prices at the publication time. All prices are in US dollars, subject to fluctuation and include additional fees at checkout .)

Vivid Seats is a verified secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand.

They offer a 100% buyer guarantee that states your transaction will be safe and secure and your tickets will be delivered prior to the event.

Ottawa BluesFest 2023

Midway through the run, The Smile will lend their talents to the 11-day (!) fest at LeBreton Flats Park in Ottawa, ON, CA .

Over the course of the long fest, audiences will be treated to performances from stars Shania Twain , Weezer , Robert Plant with Alison Krauss , Foo Fighters , Ludacris and many more.

If the Ottawa BluesFest sounds like the fest for you, we recommend scooping up passes here .

Pitchfork Music Festival 2023

The band’s tour comes to a close at Chicago’s Pitchfork Music Festival on July 21-23.

They’ll play with icons like Bon Iver , Big Thief , JPEGMAFIA , King Krule , Killer Mike and dozens of others over the three-day weekend at Grant Park.

You can grab tickets for the musical extravaganza right here, right now .

The Smile set list

Sadly, it doesn’t look like The Smile plays any Radiohead tracks on their tour.

If you end up attending a concert, here’s what you’ll likely hear based on records at Set List FM .

01.) “The Same” 02.) “Thin Thing” 03.) “The Opposite” 04.) “Speech Bubbles” 05.) “A Hairdryer” 06.) “Waving a White Flag” 07.) “Colours Fly” 08.) “We Don’t Know What Tomorrow Brings” 09.) “Under Our Pillows” 10.) “Free in the Knowledge” 11.) “Skrting on the Surface” 12.) “Read the Room” 13.) “Pana-Vision” 14.) “The Smoke”

15.) “You Will Never Work in Television Again”

16.) “Open the Floodgates”

17.) “People on Balconies” 18.) “Feeling Pulled Apart by Horses” (Thom Yorke song) 19.) “Bending Hectic”

Huge indie rock tours in 2023

Time to bust out the skinny jeans and horn-rimmed glasses.

The Smile aren’t the only indie acts taking their underground hits to venues all over North America this year.

Here are just five of our favorite indie acts on tour that you won’t want to miss in the next few months.

•  Death Cab for Cutie with The Postal Service

•  The National

•  Weezer with Modest Mouse, Spoon and more

•  Beck with Phoenix

•  Arctic Monkeys

Plus,  LCD Soundsystem, boygenius and Steve Lacy  are conducting a nationwide festival tour that you may want to keep an eye on as well if you want to maintain your indie cred.

Still want more? We knew you would.

If that’s the case, check out our list of the  52 biggest concert tours in 2023 here .

How to Develop an Easy Smile

Tips for acquiring this under-considered attribute..

Posted July 9, 2021 | Reviewed by Devon Frye

No author listed, pxfuel, CC free for commercial use

We tend to like people with an easy smile. That comes naturally to some people, but keeping the following in mind might help you acquire one.

Decide It's Worth It

Some people dismiss smilers as shallow or phony. But as long as your motives are ethical, smiling—which engages most people more than does unrelenting soberness—is a tool for positive influence and is worth acquiring.

Be More Open to the Humorous

Look for the humor in people. That goes beyond laughing at people’s not-so-funny jokes. Try to be amused rather than to deride human failings, for example, when someone prattles overconfidently or dresses to impress but it does the opposite.

Summon Your Humorous Side

Even curmudgeons have a humorous side. When you’re about to interact with someone, remind yourself to pull out your own humorous side. Of course, it’s tricky: Your attempts at humor could fall flat. You could appear silly or phony, like the salesperson smiling only to get a sale. So don’t try too hard nor try to be who you’re not. Within your natural range of demeanor, look to occasionally offer a pun, bon mot , humorous anecdote, or even a canned joke. You might even want to have a half-dozen jokes at the ready.

If you’re feeling insecure about telling jokes, it couldn’t hurt to practice a few. In that this is Psychology Today , here are two shorties that are psychology-related:

When my counselor recited the evils of drinking, I gave up counseling. Why can’t you explain puns to kleptomaniacs? They always take things literally.

It can't all be about psychology, so here's a George Carlin one l like: “Why do they lock gas station bathrooms? Are they afraid someone will clean them?”

When you’re ready for a challenge, here’s a bit longer psychology-related joke:

A poodle tells his friend the collie, “My life is a mess: My owner is mean, my girlfriend ran away with a schnauzer, and I’m as jittery as a cat.” The collie asks, “Why don’t you see a therapist?” “I can’t,” replies the poodle. “I’m not allowed on the couch.”

Laugh at Yourself

When you screw up, for example, your joke falls flat, laugh at yourself. Indeed, newscasters are taught to briefly snicker at themselves when they flub a word. Laughing at yourself was one of Johnny Carson’s tactics: When one of his jokes bombed and they often did, he’d make a self-effacing comment. For example, he once grinned, “Is this mic on?”

Practice Your Smile

Different smiles are more engaging... or less. Stand in front of a mirror and try some: broader, narrower, toothier, less so. Put yourself in another person’s shoes: Which smile would be most engaging? Practice that one until it’s in muscle memory .

Don’t turn the smile on and off like a light switch. That’s not what people do naturally. Rather, think of your smile as a dimmer switch, gradually coming on or off over a second or two. Practice doing that.

The Takeaway

In relationships, personal and even professional, we tend to be attracted to people who make us feel good, and one way to do that is to cultivate an easy smile.

I read this aloud on YouTube.

How many days do you need to spend in Egypt?

If you plan to visit Egypt once during your lifetime or you want to hit most important cities and sightseeing within the same visit, in this case from 7 - 10 days will be the most recommanded for trips to Egypt. During your holiday you must visit Cairo and do a Nile Cruise from Luxor to Aswan at a minimum. If you stay longer, you can do the beautiful city of Alexandria or relax in any of the Red Sea resorts like Sharm El Sheikh or Hurghada. But if you want a real desert safari experience, you will need to go farther out into the Western Desert (Dakhla, Kharga, Farafra and the famous Siwa Oasis near the Libyan border), but you’ll have to tack on a few extra days to accommodate the addition.

How long is the Nile Cruise trip in the area between Luxor and Aswan?

It differs depending on from which city it will start. The Nile Cruise itinerary from Luxor to Aswan takes 4 nights / 5 days of almost 2 days of sailing. While The Nile Cruise itinerary from Aswan to Luxor takes 3 nights / 4 days of almost 1 day of sailing. the difference in trip length is due to Nile River water flow direction which flows from the south to the north. So it takes longer from Luxor to Aswan because the Nile Cruise in this case sails against the river current. We recommend to start the trip from Luxor to get the best experience of the River Nile and its green valley which embraces one of the oldest civilizations in the world. Nile Cruises are not available everyday but 3 days a week; Saturdays, Mondays & Thursdays from Luxor, while from Aswan on Saturday, Monday and Wednesday.

What to expect from a Nile Cruise?

A Nile cruise is one of those journeys you feel it imperative to take, at least once in a lifetime. Trips generally run in just the 210-Kilometers stretch between Luxor and Aswan of four or five days for the one way or of eight days for the two ways, with long periods spent tied up at night at the ports of Luxor and Aswan, or at one or more of the most important cities lying between those cities like Esna or Edfu. There are many different ships to choose from, ranging from traditional steamer Nile Cruises (best suited to those that value history and authenticity) to luxurious modern cruise ships (geared towards those for whom creature comforts are a priority). The itineraries of the vast majority of Nile Cruises are the same, including these stops, whether southbound or northbound: Luxor, Edfu, Kom-Ombo, Esna and Aswan. Then there's a side trip to Abu-Simbel, south of Aswan and beyond the High Dam there by plane or bus.

What are the visa requirements for visiting Egypt?

There are 41 countries whose citizens are eligible for an Egypt visa on arrival any of the country’s entry points “airports and ports”. This type of visa is valid for a one-month period; the 27 states in the European Union, Australia, Canada, Georgia, Japan, South Korea, Macedonia, Malaysia, New Zealand, Norway, Russia, Serbia, Ukraine, the United Kingdom, and the United States. For other nationalities (except the Gulf countries) visas should be obtained from Egyptian embassies or Consular Missions abroad, and this type of visa is valid only for travel within three months from the date of issue and is valid only for one-month stay in Egypt starting from the arrival date.

Can we visit the Pyramids from Sharm El Sheikh or Hurghada?

Yes, Sharm Smile Tour runs day trips from Sharm El Sheikh or Hurghada to visit the Giza Pyramids, the Sphinx and the Egyptian Museum. Traveling between destinations could be by plane or in an air-conditioned bus,These day tours start usually by 1-5AM and finish by 10PM. In Cairo our guests will be escorted by a private tour guide who will work to give our guests a unique experience. Lunch meal is included during the day.

What languages do Egyptians speak?

Arabic language is the official language of Egypt but the colloquial Egyptian (Masry) Arabic is the most widely spoken in the country and it is not much different from the starndard Arabic but it is much easier. English and other languages, like French, Italian, Spanish, Russian, German ..ect, are most widely used among people working for the tourism sector. English and French are taught in Egyptian schools but it's not spoken as second languages in Egypt. But Not all people in Egypt are fluent in English.

Is it safe to travel to Egypt?

Despite Egypt had a bit of instability in the recent few years due to the revolutions happened in Egypt, but it is now very safe. Police security forces spreed across all Egyptian cities, especially around the areas where tourists frequent, taking the highest measures not to wait till something could happen. Tourism sector is a very vital source for the Egyptian national income. It is advisable when visiting Egypt first time to comunicate with someone who knows Egypt and speaks English well enough to explain it to you. Egypt is usually known as it has a very low crime rate.

Is tipping a standard practice in Egypt?

The first thing to consider is that baksheesh (tipping) is very much part and parcel of Egyptian culture. Tipping is a way of life in Egypt because most people working have very low wages, so tips are expected in Egypt for almost any high standard of service provided. Service charges and taxes are by default included in any bill. but these fees don't go to people who are serving. So it will be advisable and courteous to directly tip the servers with an additional 10%.

What are the sights and activities that are not be missed while visiting Egypt?

Egypt, with its rich distinctive history, is a country that offers a lot to the tourists and a traveler can never see everything in one or even a couple of visits. This is why there are a number of monuments and some activities that tourists are advised not to miss if they visit Egypt. These include: - Visiting the Pyramids of Giza - Visiting Egyptian Museum of Antiquities - Visiting Saladin Citadeland Mohammed Ali Mosque - Visiting the White Desert - Diving or snorkeling in Sinai or cities situated on the Red Sea - Going on a Nile Cruise from Luxor to Aswan or vise versa - Exploring the Saint Catherine Monastery in Sinai - Visiting the Luxor and Karnak temples in Luxor - Visiting Abu Simbel - Going to Khan El Khalili touristic market and Islamic Cairo - Exploring Islamic Cairo on foot - Visiting the monuments of the West Bank of Luxor including the Temple of Hatshepsut and the Valley of the Kings

How to pay my extras during my holiday?

You can pay either in British pound, US Dollars, Euros or change your money into Egyptian pounds from any of the exchange offices that can change cash and travelers’s checks in Egypt. You can even pay by the credit cards as the credit cards are widely used in Egypt in hotels, many shops, restaurants and cafes.

What to wear when visiting Egypt?

There is no special dress code you need to wear when visiting Egypt. Just in the religious places like mosques or churches it will be required to cover arms and legs for both men and women. In winter in some places it could be very cold so you may need to bring some heavy clothes. Check weather conditions in this time! There is no special dress code you need to wear when visiting Egypt. Taylor Swift was heartbroken on Eras tour post-Joe Alwyn split: ‘Smile even when you wanna die’

It wasn’t the stuff of her wildest dreams.

On Taylor Swift’s latest album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” which dropped Friday, the pop star, 34, seemingly admits that she was more emotionally wounded from her breakup with British actor Joe Alwyn than it seemed at the time.

In her song “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart,” the 13th track on the album, Swift says that she was only pretending to be happy following their split, which took place just before she started her Eras tour last year.

Lyrics supposedly about the “Conversations With Friends” star include: “Cause I’m a real tough kid, I can handle my s—t / They said, ‘Baby, gotta fake it till you make it,’ and I did / Lights, camera, bitch, smile, even when you wanna die / He said he’d love me all his life.”

Swift, who has since moved on to NFL player Travis Kelce , 34, also says in the song that she was “shattered” while crowds chanted “more” from her.

Swift dated Alwyn, 33, for six years, from 2016 to 2023.

Their relationship was more low-key and private than her relationship with past famous exes, such as Tom Hiddleston, 43.

Neither Alwyn nor Swift has publicly spoken much about the other, but this song appears to offer a peek behind the curtains.

And the view it gives is a sharp contrast to a statement that Swift made in May last year. During an Eras tour stop in Massachusetts, she told the crowd, “I’ve just never been this happy in my life — in all aspects of my life — ever before. And I just want to thank you for being a part of that. I don’t know. It’s not just the tour. My life finally feels like it makes sense.”

This isn’t the only track where Swift talks about Alwyn.

Another song called “So Long, London” is a goodbye to the city where the pop star once lived with the actor.

To demonstrate how deep those Swift Easter eggs can be hidden, that track is 9 minutes and 28 seconds — which happens to mirror when the exes are rumored to have started dating in 2016: Sept. 28.

Alwyn is also rumored to figure into the album title, which may be a snarky spin on the name of a group chat, the Tortured Man Club , that he had with actors Paul Mescal and Andrew Scott.

Alwyn and Mescal, 28, opened up about their group chat during a 2022 interview with Variety. It was founded by Scott, 47.

“[Scott is] just on it every day. He’s just on it by himself,” Mescal told the outlet, with Alwyn joking that the “Fleabag” actor is “just messaging himself good mornings.”

In an interview with GQ UK, Alwyn added that the chat name was “a reflection on Connell and Nick.” Alwyn played the character Nick on “Conversations With Friends,” while Mescal played Connell on “Normal People.” Both TV series were adaptations from books written by Irish author Sally Rooney.

Further lyrics by Swift say, “I was grinning like I’m winning, I was hitting my marks, cause I can do it with a broken heart / I’m so depressed I act like it’s my birthday every day. I’m so obsessed with him but he avoids me like the plague / I cry a lot but I am so productive, it’s an art.”

Odds Outlook: Duo of Patrick Cantlay, Xander Schauffele back for more success in The Big Easy

The Zurich Classic in New Orleans features the only team competition on the 2024 PGA TOUR schedule. For the seventh time in eight years, the suburb of Avondale and TPC Louisiana hosts 80 teams of two.

Playing for the fourth consecutive season, Patrick Cantlay and Xander Schauffele (+450), champions of the 2022 edition, will look to become the first duo to win this event twice. Already holding the record for Four-ball performance (59; Round 1, 2022), the U.S. teammates returned last year to tie the Foursomes record on 63. Partners in Ryder Cups and Presidents Cups, the familiarity produces annually in New Orleans, regardless of format. Entering the week, Cantlay picked up his best check of the season with T3 at the RBC Heritage, while Schauffele has posted top-10 paydays in eight of his last 11 on TOUR, highlighted by T2 at THE PLAYERS Championship, another Pete Dye track. The summer of 2022 was the last time these two won individually, and they kicked it off with a victory at TPC Louisiana.

Ryder Cup teammates and major champions Rory McIlroy and Shane Lowry (+750) will give it a go for the first time on the par-72 that can stretch to 7,425 yards. The neighbors from Jupiter, Florida, have had mixed results this year, but there’s nothing like a team game to get their games into gear. After winning and running second on the DP World Tour in January, the No. 2 player in the Official World Golf Rankings has only hit the top 10 once, solo third at Valero, in the last three months. Cashing T4 in Palm Beach Gardens, a solo third at Bay Hill, and T19 at TPC Sawgrass, Lowry raked the cash in his adopted state of Florida in late winter but was quiet the last two weeks.

Rory McIlroy and Shane Lowry's best highlights from 2024

Sahith Theegala and Will Zalatoris (+1000) are teaming up for the first time in the Big Easy, but each has had previous success here. Before missing last season through injury, Zalatoris teamed with Davis Riley to share fourth in the 2022 edition. Theegala, making his third start as well, missed the cut in 2022 with Beau Hossler but returned to taste weekend action with Justin Suh last year. The combination of Zalatoris consistently punishing fairways and greens melded with the slick putting skills of Theegala make for an excellent ham-and-egg twosome. A winner last fall at the Fortinet Championship, Theegala cashed second at Pete Dye’s Harbour Town Monday morning. Zalatoris has painted the top 10 three times in his last six starts, including a season-best T2 at The Genesis Invitational and his third consecutive top-10 payday at Augusta National.

Las Vegas residents Collin Morikawa and Kurt Kitayama (+1400) join forces for the first time. Notorious tee-to-green assassins, the Californians will have plenty of looks for birdie or better. Morikawa, the two-time major champion, rolls into town on red-hot form but has played this event before with little success. Over the last three editions, despite teaming up with Viktor Hovland (T29) and Max Homa (MC), he has not sniffed a big finish. Kitayama, who ranks in the top 34 in SG: Off the Tee and Approach the Green, has found the weekend twice in two visits with two different teammates. Finding the good vibes for the flat sticks this week is a must!

In addition to countrymen, international teammates and neighbors, family ties bind Matt Fitzpatrick and Alex Fitzpatrick (+2500). During their maiden voyage together last April, the English duo sat five back of the 54-hole lead before a quiet 74 in Sunday Foursomes knocked them to T19. Picking up T23 in his first PGA TOUR start of 2024, the younger of the two continues an excellent run of play worldwide. In 10 starts since December, Alex has cashed seven times of T26 or better. The big brother has cashed T28 in eight of 12 worldwide, including solo fifth at THE PLAYERS Championship.

Here's a look at some of the other notable team odds for this week’s event, via BetMGM Sportsbook, including defending champs Nick Hardy and Davis Riley (+5000) who will look to become the first pair to go back-to-back:

  • +2500: Corey Conners and Taylor Pendrith, Tom Hoge and Maverick McNealy, Nicolai Højgaard and Rasmus Højgaard
  • +3300: Brice Garnett and Sepp Straka
  • +4000: Doug Ghim and Chan Kim, Keith Mitchell and Joel Dahmen, Taylor Moore and Matt NeSmith, Nick Taylor and Adam Hadwin
  • +4500: Austin Eckroat and Chris Gotterup, Billy Horschel (2013 and 2018 winner) and Tyson Alexander, Davis Thompson and Andrew Novak
  • +5000: Daniel Berger and Victor Perez, Thomas Detry and Robert MacIntyre, Beau Hossler and Sam Ryder, K.H. Lee and Michael Kim, Taylor Montgomery and Ben Griffin, Matt Wallace and Thorbjorn Olesen
  • +6600: Dylan Wu and Justin Lower, Garrick Higgo and Ryan Fox, Luke List and Henrik Norlander, Chandler Phillips and Jacob Bridgeman, Andrew Putnam and Joe Highsmith, Aaron Rai and David Lipsky, Alex Smalley and Matti Schmid, Nico Echavarria and Max Greyserman, Nate Lashley and Rafael Campos, Greyson Sigg and Chesson Hadley, Kevin Yu and C.T. Pan
  • +8000: Zach Johnson and Ryan Palmer (2019 winner), Thriston Lawrence and Aldrich Potgieter, Kevin Streelman and Martin Laird, Gary Woodland and Lee Hodges
  • +9000: Mac Meissner and Austin Smotherman, Vincent Norrman and Jorge Campillo, Parker Coody and Pierceson Coody
  • +10000: Kevin Tway and Kelly Kraft, Peter Malnati and Russell Knox, Chad Ramey and Martin Trainer, Justin Suh and Rico Hoey

How the Zurich Classic works:

  • A field of 80 two-man teams will be cut to the top 33 teams and ties after 36 holes (one round of Best Ball (Four-ball) and one round of Alternate Shot (Foursomes)).
  • The final two rounds will be Four-ball followed by Foursomes
  • The purse of $8.9 million will pay first place $1,286,050 million to each winner.
  • The winners also each receive 400 FedExCup points.
