Foo Fighters 2024 UK tour: as London dates go on general sale, here’s how to get tickets
The legendary Foo Fighters have announced they will be performing six dates as part of a monumental UK tour following their Glastonbury success.
The American rock band —which kept its set a secret at Worthy Farm this weekend — will return to London in what is set to be its first gigs since the Taylor Hawkins’ memorial concert last year at Wembley Stadium.
The group — who wowed crowds this weekend singing a medley of iconic tracks including Best of You, Learn to Fly, and My Hero — say they are back for the six-date tour and bigger than ever.
Today (June 27), on their social media accounts, they announced they would be bringing the Everything or Nothing tour to the UK, much to the delight of fans.
One wrote: “That’s me booking a day off to get these tickets . Legends,” while other fans were already begging for more dates, despite the tickets not even going on sale yet: “Please do more than six. I need to see you.”
Others begged for more venues: “Ahh there’s no Ireland on here. Please come and see us.”
So what are the details of the gigs, and how can you get your hands on tickets? Here is everything we know.
Where are the Foo Fighters touring in the UK?
All the gigs will take place in 2024.
Kicking off on June 13, at the Emirates Old Trafford in Manchester, the band will then go on to perform in Hampden Park, Glasgow, on June 17, West Ham’s London Stadium on June 20 and 22, the Principality Stadium in Cardiff on June 25, and Villa Park in Birmingham on June 27.
Who will be the support acts for the Foo Fighters tour?
These have already been announced, and fans are excited. In Manchester, bands Wet Leg and Loose Articles will be supporting, while in Glasgow, Courtney Melba and Honeyblood will support.
Bands Hot Milk and the Himalayas will also join on other dates.
When do tickets go on sale and how can I get them?
The tickets go on general sale from Friday, June 30, at 9am.
Tickets are expected to sell out fast.
A presale began on Wednesday (June 28) at 9am, ending on June 29, at 10pm.

The upcoming tour will be in support of their latest LP, ‘But Here We Are’ , which arrived last week ( June 2) and marked their 11th studio album. It also marks their first album without longtime drummer Taylor Hawkins , following his death while on tour in Columbia last March .
Now, in a new update shared on their official website , Dave Grohl and co. have confirmed that UK concerts are on the horizon, and scheduled to kick off next year.
Originally, the website had a message that read: “Pre-order any format of ‘But Here We Are’ for pre-sale code access to forthcoming and soon-to-be-announced UK live dates.”
However, as of yesterday (June 6), an eagle-eyed fan highlighted that the message has since been updated, and now reads: “Foo Fighters will tour the UK in 2024. Order ‘But Here We Are’ from the official store by Thursday for pre-sale code access to the forthcoming live dates.”

Originally, the American rock veterans were set to play a UK stadium tour in summer of last year , but all dates were cancelled following the tragic news of Hawkins’ passing. Earlier this year, the surviving members confirmed that they would continue as a band , and announced that they were already working on new music.
Later, it was announced that Josh Freese had been recruited as their new live drummer , and the band made their live return with a set at Massachusetts festival, Boston Calling .
Earlier this week, the band announced Australia and New Zealand tour dates for late 2023 and early 2024 and, more recently, hinted at a surprise appearance at this year’s Glastonbury festival .
This came after a mysterious band named The Churnups were announced as having a set on the opening Friday of Glasto, and following speculation, Grohl later shared an update on the Foo Fighters’ social media page , in which he mentions “churning up” emotions.
Currently, the band are in a neck-and-neck race with Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds for the Number One spot on the Official Album Charts. Both artists released their latest LPs — ‘But Here We Are’ and ‘Council Skies’ — last week and, as it approaches the midweek mark, Gallagher currently has the peak position, although just 200 units separated the acts.
If Foo Fighters were to hit the top position by the end of the week, it would mean that the rockers would have six chart-topping albums to their name — the most recent one so far is 2021’s ‘Medicine At Midnight’ .
However, if ‘Council Skies’ were to top the charts by the end of the week — it would extend the singer-songwriter’s record of 10 consecutive Number One albums. This includes his work as part of Oasis and as part of his solo endeavour, meaning that every album he has ever released reached the peak position.

Foo Fighters announce UK tour with dates in Cardiff, London, Manchester, Birmingham and Glasgow
The rockers have announced they will be back on UK soil for a tour next summer
- 08:24, 27 JUN 2023
- Updated 12:02, 27 JUN 2023
Foo Fighters have officially announced they will return to the UK in the summer of 2024 with a Cardiff date on the tour.
The band, fronted by Dave Grohl, officially announced their tour on Monday, June 26, just days after appearing as surprise guests at Glastonbury Festival under the guise of mystery acts The Churn-ups. They told the crowd they would tour the UK in 2024 and have now released dates.
Their 2024 tour will be their first in the UK without their late drummer Taylor Hawkins who died in March 2022 aged 50. In September of the same year the band played a huge memorial concert to their bandmate to 90,000 fans.

Announcing the tour on Twitter , the band shared dates on Tuesday with a gig at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff on June 25, 2024 , just days after Taylor Swift performs . They will also play in London, Manchester, Birmingham and Glasgow. You will be able to buy tickets here .
The band last performed in Cardiff in 2007 in the Motorpoint Arena and before that supported Oasis at the then-named Millennium Stadium on the Noise and Confusion tour. There have long been rumours that the band were to tour next year and lots of fans had been begging them to include a Cardiff date.
Commenting on the band's cheeky post announcing a tour but not dates one person said: "Please please come to Cardiff, fantastic venue in the city center" and another added " @principalitysta in Cardiff is the best stadium in the world. Just saying...".
Dan Minty, who runs fan guide Minty's Gig Guide and is heavily involved in Cardiff's music scene, has long been asking for the band to come to the Principality Stadium. For weeks he has been posting open letters to Dave Grohl and Co begging them to include Cardiff on their next date. The latest one read: "Dear Foo Fighters, please announce a Welsh date for your upcoming 2024 tour (OR WE RIOT!). Time and time again. Our love, Cariad mawr. The Population of Wales."
The Foo Fighters' set at Glastonbury was remarkable. Dave Grohl went on to play guitar with Guns n Roses and drums with The Pretenders during the weekend. Wet Leg will support in Cardiff and the huge gig will be opened by Cardiff rock band, Himalayas. Hear first about the latest big gigs in Wales, sign up to our What's On newsletter

Foo Fighters confirm there are “soon-to-be-announced” UK live dates
Foo Fighters’ tour dates kick off in just a couple of weeks’ time, and while we don’t have any confirmed UK shows right now, they’re on the way…
There’s just two weeks to go until Foo Fighters kick off their 2023 tour in the States, and hopefully we won’t have to wait too long for some shows on this side of the pond.
As spotted by the awesome Foo Fighters UK fan group on Twitter , the rock legends have put a message on their official website that there are “forthcoming and soon-to-be-announced” UK live dates – of which you’ll be able to get early ticket access to by pre-ordering any format of their new album But Here We Are.
Speaking of which, But Here We Are – the 11th Foos record and first since the loss of Taylor Hawkins last year – is due out on June 2. It has been described as “a brutally honest and emotionally raw response to everything Foo Fighters have endured recently”, and “a testament to the healing powers of music, friendship and family”.
A press release also shared that: “Sonically channeling the naivete of Foo Fighters’ 1995 debut, informed by decades of maturity and depth, But Here We Are is the sound of brothers finding refuge in the music that brought them together in the first place 28 years ago, a process that was as therapeutic as it was about a continuation of life.”
