Definitely I will come back here and will recommend friends too. Thank you Joanne. We went in at 1.15pm today. We patiently waited for nearly three hours before we got served by lovely Alex. We got it sorted in 50min. It was insane having to wait that long time. We can't fault the staff. Three staffs is not enough. We have noticed a couple of the clients taking at least three hours or more of the staff time. One didn't even purchase the ticket. When we left one couple were still there. It's crazy!! By the way love the new office deco.

Just back from another holiday with Caledonian. This was a 10 day stay in Italy. First of all our 2 drivers Simon and Tony were fabulous, so friendly, happy and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them, they made everyone feel comfortable. The overall holiday was great, lots to do if you wanted or relax at the resort, the decision was always yours. I’ve booked many holidays with Caledonian and will continue to do over hopefully many years.

Had numerous trips with this company from Skye to Disneyland and many in between. Recenrly doing the trip to Fort William/Glencoe and then another to Skye. Having everything included and reserved seating makes the trips so much more enjoyable. I wouldn't think twice about booking with one already for next month.

We went on our first tour with Caladonia travel to Alton towers for 2 days and Chester zoo on the way home. Would definitely recommend and will use them again in the near future. A big thank our driver Gordon who went out his way to keep everyone happy. 5? driver.

They took the stress out of booking

Just back from the most amazing holiday in South Africa organised by Nick at trailfinders in Chelmsford Having never used them before we didn’t know what to expect. We had bought a safari in a charity auction and wanted a trip to encompass that. We spent a good few hours in the store going through what we would like included. Dates and the type of accommodation we would like. Nick put the trip together and after a few tweaks we were happy. Everything and I mean everything went perfectly. From the information on the app to the flights and transfers and hotels. It was the first time we had joined a tour group and it won’t be the last. Alaska cruising with Vancouver, Seattle and the Rocky Mountaineer

Great experience with our booking, we had a rough idea of what we wanted and Lauren came up with a plan for the 3 weeks, including lots of recommendations for hotels, walking tours and a land tour from our cruise company that wasn't available on the website. We originally went into the Bristol branch and selected a holiday schedule with Chris, who was very helpful. When it came to booking as he was unavailable we were put through to Khilna in London. They took the stress out of booking

Just back from the most amazing holiday in South Africa organised by Nick at trailfinders in Chelmsford Having never used them before we didn’t know what to expect. We had bought a safari in a charity auction and wanted a trip to encompass that. We spent a good few hours in the store going through what we would like included. Alaska cruising with Vancouver, Seattle and the Rocky Mountaineer

Glasgow and the River Clyde

There’s a saying ‘Glasgow made the Clyde and the Clyde made Glasgow.’ The city grew to prominence thanks to trade along the River Clyde and the shipbuilding and engineering industries that sprung up along the river. For much of the Victorian and Edwardian eras, Glasgow was said to be the second city of the British Empire. 

Some of the best hiking routes in Glasgow follow this great river to learn more about its history, while allowing you to marvel at the industrial muscle still present today, as well as the architecture the city is renowned for.

A riverside amble reveals modern marvels like the iconic Armadillo auditorium, Glasgow Tower and the Science Centre, as well as the more traditional, but no less stunning, architecture of the People’s Palace and Winter Gardens, which date back to 1898. The surrounding streets are full of vibrant cafes, restaurants and other great places to take a pause. The People’s Palace is in the heart of Glasgow Green, the city’s oldest park and home to the Doulton Fountain, the largest terracotta fountain in the world, as well as the grand McLennan Arch.

There are plenty of walks around Glasgow that escape the hustle and bustle of the city streets. The city is peppered with parks, gardens and nature reserves, many of which can be linked together on a longer walk. Pollok Country Park is the city’s largest greenspace and offers peace and quiet in its extensive woodlands and gardens.

Glasgow’s highest point can be found to the south at Cathkin Braes, an area of hills that rise to over 660 feet (200 m) and reward with extensive city views, as well as to the Campsie Fells, the Ochil Hills and distant Ben Lomond.

The opening stages of an iconic long-distance trail

The northern satellite town of Milngavie is where the famous West Highland Way begins, a 96-mile (154 km) long-distance trail to Fort William in the heart of the Highlands. The initial stages visit Mugdock Country Park, a delight to explore in its own right. Its 667 acres (270 ha) of heath, moor and woodland boast accessible trails, lochside paths, Second World War gun sites and castle ruins.

Glasgow Clyde College (GCC) has launched a Taylor Swift masterclass aimed at teaching parents and plus-ones about The Eras Tour set list and the singer's evolving wardrobe and hairstyles.

A Scottish college is offering a course on Taylor Swift to educate parents and carers accompanying children to the US singer's sold-out The Eras Tour.

More than 2.9 million fans attempted to secure tickets for the tour, and her sold-out concerts at Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh are set to be watched live by 215,000 people.

Swift, 34, will perform in Edinburgh on 7, 8 and 9 June, with the crowd numbers expected to beat Harry Styles' record in 2023 for the biggest show in Scotland .

Glasgow Clyde College (GCC) has launched a masterclass aimed at teaching parents and plus-ones about the set list and Swift's evolving wardrobe and hairstyles.

It will cover crowd chants as well as her previous work, including albums Fearless and Folklore.

The free session is designed to help non-Swifties to get "up to speed" so they fully appreciate "iconic" moments in the set.

Robert Anderson, curriculum assistant principal at GCC, said: "Taylor mania doesn't seem to be slowing any time soon, and we expect it'll reach its peak here in Scotland in June.

"We understand that not everyone will be up to speed on all things Taylor and might not get the full Eras experience.

"That's why we created this masterclass - to prepare those who'll be heading along to the gig with their superfan kids, friends or partners to ensure they have just as memorable a time.

"Taylor's gigs are known for being so well crafted, and unless you're a fan yourself, you might miss some of the iconic moments.
