Do not under any circumstances use this company. We chartered with them for a school trip and it was a horrible experience. Monday, April 15th: -To begin the trip, Ms. Springs' GPS took her on winding back roads that would connect us to the interstate an hour away. These roads are very narrow and we were all quite nervous. -Shortly into the trip, we discovered that the bathroom was not usable. The toilet seat was broken off and the toilet did not flush. 44 people and NO bathroom for the ENTIRE trip is wholly unacceptable. This led to multiple unnecessary stops, adding to our travel time. Apparently this bus came directly from a tour to the Masters Tournament held in Augusta, Ga. The bus was never prepared for us and our trip. -We requested that Ms. Springs stop at Davis Truck Stop in southern Virginia. We have stopped here every year for four years (as preplanned by the driver). I informed her that this was the stop where drivers refueled on each previous trip. She did not refuel the bus at this point. -Upon leaving this truck stop, Ms. Springs got on I-95 Southbound instead of Northbound. We had to correct her; Ms. Springs blamed her GPS. -We were dropped off at Ford's Theater, THEN Ms. Springs decided to go refuel. Of course she had to travel a good distance to do this. She was not back by the time our tour ended, so the entire group had to get on the subway unexpectedly (45 people, including Bill, on the metro...). We were very late to dinner. After dinner, Ms. Springs was still not back. The winds were blowing 30-40 mph and it was extremely uncomfortable and cold. After waiting 15 more minutes, we started walking just to warm up. After 20-30 more minutes, she finally arrived. Tuesday, April 16th: -Ms. Springs had an extremely difficult time following Bill's directions. She missed many turns and would not follow his instructions. Please note that he gave ample time to move lanes and prepare for turns. He was extremely patient during the entire trip. -After our tour of the Capitol, Library of Congress, and the National Archives we expected to be picked up by the bus driver. She was not nearby. Bill had to call her repeatedly. She claimed that this caused her GPS to go out and then would subsequently miss her turns. After about 45 minutes, Bill bought the entire group ice cream/popsicles. We then walked to another block to get closer to where Ms. Springs should be arriving, based on Bill's communication with her. She still did not show up for another 45 minutes. This caused us to be a full hour late to our Holocaust tour, of which we were already in the process of trying to reschedule for Thursday. Fortunately they were open later than we thought and were able to tour the museum. After the Holocaust visit, Ms. Springs was again missing. After another 30 to 45 minute wait, I finally lost my patience and emailed Amanda and Tom (Explorica) to express our frustrations. Bill was doing the same at this time, contacting both Explorica and Broach Coach for needed assistance. -When Ms. Springs finally arrived and we needed to travel to Union Station for dinner at Uno's, to which we were also an hour late, Ms. Springs began yelling at Bill due to missing multiple turns. The teachers and adults had to ask her to settle down around the students. -At dinner we were met by Stephen, our fill in tour guide for the evening tour of monuments. Stephen had the same difficulties with Ms. Springs. He would give the direction four and five times and she still seemed unable to comprehend what to do. Stephen had to stay on the bus to help her park and then catch up with our group later. This caused me to remain in a set location and not enjoy the Jefferson monument with my students. Wednesday, April 17th: -We visited Mt. Vernon in the morning. Ms. Springs was more timely in picking us up after this tour. Our drive from there to Arlington, however was extremely stressful full of navigation errors and extreme traffic/driving concerns. See notes below. -After Arlington, we made a quick stop at the American History Museum. Bill remained on the bus with her so that we would be picked up on time. Navigation and driving remained a problem. Thursday, April 18th: -At the hotel, a tractor trailer had pulled up in a way that prevented Ms. Springs from facing the bus in the correct direction. She was so loud in her yelling/frustrations that another bus driver stopped and asked how he could help her. She began to yell at him and he told her to calm down and that they needed to look out for one another. Then again offered to help her. Again, all of our students were present for her outburst.

Think twice before putting money down for a Broach Sports Tour. We, very trustingly, unfortunately, put $1000 down on a trip to hold our reservation. We were (and still are) told that the money is fully refundable if we cancel. But after a month of requests, we have not seen the money. My bad for trusting them! We canceled our (June 21) trip in early March and are repeatedly told that they will "get it done soon." In the past month, both my husband and I have texted another employee and called AND emailed the owner multiple times. The owner is genuinely kind and sweet on the phone. But there is a complete lack of follow-through between her and her husband to get a check cut for us. It's not just $50 -- It's a thousand bucks already! We've traveled for baseball with two other OUTSTANDING sports tour companies. We would have liked to have given Broach a try. It won't happen.

DO NOT PURCHASE ANY PACKAGE FROM THIS COMPANY!! I purchased a couple 2013 Masters Golf Packages to give away as a prize. On the day of the event, my prize winners were greeted in the morning by the owner of Broach Sports Tours who said they did not have enough tickets for all of their customers. My clients were told they could go to 1 day of the event, but would not be given tickets to the final round. I purchased 2 Saturday and Sunday packages 4 months before the Masters, and to be surprised on the day of the event with this type of news is completely unprofessional. Although I did receive a partial refund, my prize winners missed out on a once in a lifetime opportunity to see the final round of the Masters and did not receive their promised prize. Essentially, I was sold tickets to the Masters that they did not have in advance. Do not purchase from this company unless you want to risk your sports travel plans falling through.

Quote and receipt requests were ignored. From step one they were completely unprofessional and the left hand didn't know what the right had done.
