Será o retorno de Swift ao Brasil, tão aguardado pelos fãs.Com essa turnê, ela será a primeira artista feminina da história a inaugurar um estádio da NFL, o SoFi Stadium.

On Sunday, Taylor Swift returned to the stage in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil following a postponed show due to the area's unprecedented heatwave. 

The "Lover" singer, 33, once again kicked off her Eras Tour stop at the Estadio Nilton Santos stadium with thousands of adoring fans bracing the heat to take part in the now-iconic concert. 

Thankfully, the temperature came down significantly from Friday and Saturday, giving Swift and her fans a much-needed reprieve. With the cooler temperatures, however, came a rainstorm that the singer and her dancers braved from the stage. 

Videos posted online show Swift in her Reputation outfit dancing and singing while the rain pours inside the stadium. 

The rain didn't seem to stop her fans from enjoying themselves, though. At one point -- so impressed by the group's energy -- Swift gave them a special shoutout.

"You seem like a Saturday night crowd because you are so wild and crazy!" she told the crowd. 

In one clip, Swift can be seen taking a moment to soak up the cheers from the crowd while still in her costume from the Lover era. 

"The cheering and smiles and screaming is exactly what she needed to hear tonight. #RioTSTheErasTour #WeLoveYouTaylor ," a fan wrote in a post on X. 

Another similar clip shows Swift at the piano during her Evermore segment,   taking out her earpieces to look out at the crowd and listen to their loud cheers and chants.

The singer appeared to get a bit emotional as the crowd repeated her name and cheered loudly for her. 

Following the death of a fan before the Friday show and the postponement of Saturday's show , fans also took to X to show their support for the "Lavender Haze" singer. 

On Sunday, "#WeWillStayTaylor" began trending as her fans expressed their love and admiration for her amid an incredibly difficult weekend. 

One video from the concert on Friday night shows Swift near the end of her setlist breathing heavily and appearing to struggle with the heat herself. 

Other clips from the event show fans purportedly passing out inside the stadium from the heat and sweating profusely. 

Sadly, the continued heat contributed to the death of Ana Clara Benevides Machado, who died Friday night before the show. 

On Friday, the heat index -- which accounts for both heat and humidity -- read at a shocking 140 degrees Fahrenheit for Rio De Janeiro, according to  FOX Weather . 

In addition to the weather conditions, fans were packed into the stadium and were purportedly not allowed to take water in with them despite complaining of the rising temperatures. 

Ana's cause of death has yet to be confirmed but the office of Rio’s public prosecutor opened a criminal investigation and said her body was being examined,  The Associated Press  reported. 

In a statement on Saturday morning , the "Lover" singer said she was "devastated" by Benevides' death. 

"I can’t believe I’m writing these words but it is with a shattered heart that I say we lost a fan earlier tonight before my show,” Swift wrote in an Instagram story. "I can’t even tell you how devastated I am by this. There’s very little information I have other than the fact that she was so incredibly beautiful and far too young."

"I’m not going to be able to speak about this from stage because I feel overwhelmed by grief when I even try to talk about it. I want to say now I feel this loss deeply and my broken heart goes out to her family and friends. This is the last thing I ever thought would happen when we decided to bring this tour to Brazil," she continued.

Swift later postponed her Saturday evening show due to the heat. The concert was rescheduled to Monday, Nov. 20.

Taylor Swift coleciona motivos para comemorar em terras brasileiras! Depois de ter todos os ingressos para a apresentação em São Paulo esgotados em menos de 24 horas, a cantora anunciou na noite da última sexta-feira (25) em seu Twitter, que fará um show extra na cidade por conta da demanda do público.

A apresentação está marcada para acontecer no dia 19 de julho de 2020 e, assim como no primeiro show confirmado, o valor dos ingressos varia entre R$ 150 e R$ 850. A venda geral acontece na próxima sexta-feira (1), mas os fãs apressados poderão garantir seu lugar entre o público durante a pré-venda oficial do evento. Para isso, é preciso ser cliente do banco C6.

A ‘Lover Tour’, como foi batizada, é a turnê de divulgação do recente álbum da cantora, Lover. O disco conta com a participação de nomes como Dixie Chicks, Brendon Urie e hits como ‘Me!’, ‘Lover’ e ‘You Need To Calm Down’, que carrega um time de celebridades como participação especial.

O sucesso da ‘Lover Tour’ no Brasil começou antes mesmo da venda oficial de ingressos. No último mês, um fã ansioso foi ‘flagrado’ acampando na frente de um dos pontos de venda de ingresso.

Em entrevista exclusiva à Jovem Pan, a psicóloga Adriana Severine, especialista em comportamento humano, contou que é normal ter ídolos, mas é preciso se policiar para não ultrapassar a linha da normalidade.

On September 17, 2019, the tour dates were released on Swift's official website. 8 of the dates are at pre-organized festivals and 5 US dates titled Lover Fest West and Lover Fest East in stadiums. It was also announced that more dates for the UK and internationally would be revealed soon.

In early 2021, Taylor announced that she would no longer be rescheduling concert dates.

When the tickets went on sale for the US show dates, a stage design was unintentionally leaked by Ticketmaster, as well as a scrapped stage for the SoFi Stadium shows. It featured a 360° heart-shaped stage in the middle of the venue. The scrapped stage design was a mix between the 1989 World Tour and Reputation Stadium Tour stages.

Taylor Swift Announces How She'll Be Touring Lover: 4 U.S. Lover Fest Dates and Festivals Abroad

Taylor Swift isn't going on a traditional stadium tour for her new album, Lover . This time, she's doing festivals, the singer announced... and creating four festival dates of her own to perform her new album next year.

"The Lover album is open fields, sunsets, and SUMMER," she tweeted. "I want to perform it in a way that feels authentic. I want to go to some places I haven’t been and play festivals. Where we didn’t have festivals, we made some. Introducing, Lover Fest East + West!"

There's a history-making element to Swift's tour plan. The singer will become the first woman to open an NFL stadium during her Lover Fest West performances in Los Angeles' SoFi Stadium.

These are the 2020 dates she'll be playing so far. Note she only has four U.S. shows, two on the East Coast in Massachusetts and two on the West Coast in Los Angeles. Good luck to all seeking tickets.

Months into the Eras tour, Taylor Swift has every moment of the show memorized and prepared. She runs such a tight ship — there are rarely ever hiccups in her performances from herself or her dancers. But during a recent tour stop in Rio De Janeiro, a mild disruption came courtesy of none other than Swift’s bejeweled Christian Louboutin shoes.

The musician opens each show with the Lover era, kicking the night off with hits like “Cruel Summer” and fan-favorite deep cuts like “Miss Americana & the Heartbreak Prince.” It was only a few moments into the concert that Swift found herself kicking off something else — the heel to her boots. Early in the show, she snapped the already broken heel from her shoe and tossed it off of the stage.

Swift powered through the rest of the Lover, channeling Margot Robbie’s Barbie with her foot arched in the shape of the heel. Thanks to the Eras tour design, she only had to get through that first era before heading backstage for one of the more than a dozen outfit changes she makes during the 3-hour long concert.

Taylor Swift Is Throwing A Music Festival For 'Lover'

Taylor Swift has revealed her touring plan for the Lover album cycle , and it involves throwing her own music festival. Today via social media, Swift has announced Lover Fest East and West that will be held in U.S., as well as appearances at festivals across Europe and Brazil in the summer of next year.

"For me, the Lover album is open fields and sunsets and SUMMER," Swift writes in the announcement on Instagram. She continues, "I want to celebrate the album and perform it live with you in a way that feels authentic to the music. I want to go to some places I haven't been, and play festivals for the first time in ages... and where we didn't have festivals, we made some. Introducing, Lover Fest East and West." Residents of the West Coast will have to head to Los Angeles to witness Swift's Lover- era performances, and those on the East will have to trek up to Foxborough, Massachusetts. She notes that additional dates and details will be announced "soon."

Taylor Swift Returns to Eras Tour Stage After Mourning Fan Who Died Before Brazil Show amid Extreme Heat Wave

Taylor Swift has returned to the stage in Brazil one day after rescheduling her Saturday show.

The "Lover" singer, 33, resumed the South American leg of her Eras Tour Sunday night at Estadio Nilton Santos in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

On Saturday, Swift canceled that night's show hours before she was set to take the stage due to unusually “extreme heat” in the city. Friday's temperature topped 102 F, with humidity at more than 70%, a combination that made it feel as if it was actually 138 F, according to PBS.org .

“I'm writing this from my dressing room in the stadium," Swift shared to her Instagram Story in a hand-written note Saturday. "The decision has been made to postpone tonight's show due to the extreme temperatures in Rio."

She added, "The safety and well being of my fans, fellow performers and crew has to and will always come first."

Later, event organizer Time for Fun revealed in a statement that the show is rescheduled to take place Monday, with all tickets to Saturday's performance remaining valid for the new date.

The postponement came after the Grammy winner confirmed that a fan died ahead of Friday’s concert. Time for Fun shared in a post on X, formerly Twitter, that 23-year-old Ana Clara Benevides Machado had died after feeling unwell at the venue. 

According to the post, which was shared in Portuguese, first responders attended to Benevides Machado, and she died after being transferred to the local Salgado Filho Hospital.

“I can’t believe I’m writing these words, but it’s with a shattered heart that I say we lost a fan earlier tonight before my show,” Swift wrote on Friday.

“I can’t even tell you how devastated I am by this," she added. "There’s very little information I have other than the fact she was so incredibly beautiful and far too young.” 

Swift, who wrote that she felt the loss "deeply," revealed that she was "overwhelmed by grief when I even try to talk about it."

"I want to say now I feel this loss deeply and my heart goes out to her family and friends," she wrote. “This is the last thing I ever thought would happen when we decided to bring this tour to Brazil."

Throughout that night, Swift was caught multiple times on camera asking for stadium staff to provide fans with water. At one point, she stopped in the middle of her song “All Too Well” when she saw people in the audience being affected by the heat, and would toss them bottles of water.

Temperatures finally cooled down on Sunday after days of heat topping 100 degrees paired with dangerously high levels of humidity — a record for mid-November in Rio.

The Lover Fest tour was a planned concert tour following the release of Swift’s seventh album, Lover , in 2019. It was supposed to be held across USA and Europe, beginning from Atlanta on April 2020, with the Foxborough concerts concluding the tour on August 1.

Announcing the tour in September 2019, Swift had had said that she will be performing at concerts in Europe and South America, before returning to North America. However, following the concerns around the Covid-19 pandemic, all the festival dates were cancelled in April 2020, while the stadium shows in Brazil and the USA were postponed.

The American concerts were supposed to be held at the SoFi stadium in Inglewood, and the Gillette stadium in Foxborough. Brazil was supposed to have its concert in Sao Paulo at the Allianz Parque stadium.

While refunds have been announced for the same, Brazilian fans, in replies to Swift’s cancellation post, have sought for the artist’s support to be able to retrieve their refunds from the website Tickets for Fun. While some urged her to take action, others understood the situation.

It is an independent festival, it's managed by Tickets For Fun and they are the ones who sold the tickets. If it were Taylor's show, she would honor the refund policy for every country. Outside of the US, they are all independently managed festivals/shows. — nino (@tayloredswift) February 27, 2021

While the singer’s Twitter post does not mention it, the official page declaring the cancellation mentions that the refunds policy will be based on the terms and conditions of the management company, Tickets for Fun. The latter has declared on its website that instead of refunding the amount of individual tickets, “may be converted into credit for future purchase”.

Besides news surrounding the cancellation, Swift also announced on February 11, that her album Fearless   will be a remake of her first six albums, comprising 26 songs.

“I have decided I want you to have the whole story, see the entire vivid picture, and let you into the entire dreamscape that is my fearless album. That’s why I have chosen to include 6 never before released songs on my version of this album. Written when I was between the ages of 16 and 18, these were the ones it killed me to leave behind,” the statement read.

Her latest releases include the Evermore  album and the Folklore  album.

Taylor Swift Announces 'Lover Fest' — Here's Where She's Going

It hasn't even been a month since Taylor Swift unleashed  Lover   upon her legion of devoted fans, and Swifties are already gearing up for her next tour. Swift took to social media today (September 17) to confirm that while a tour  is  happening, it's going to be a lot different than her past treks. So different, in fact, that she'll only be playing at two venues in the United States — one on the East Coast and one on the West Coast.

Before you freak out, Swift's plans for what she's dubbed "Lover Fest" actually sound pretty awesome. After hitting up some music festivals in Europe throughout July 2020, including Denmark's  Roskilde Festival and Portugal's  Nos Alive , Swift will play two shows at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on July 25-26, making her the first woman to open an NFL stadium. After that, she'll play two shows at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, MA on July 31-August 1.

"The Lover album is open fields, sunsets, + SUMMER," the "You Need To Calm Down" singer tweeted, announcing her unique plans for summer 2020. "I want to perform it in a way that feels authentic. I want to go to some places I haven't been and play festivals. Where we didn't have festivals, we made some. Introducing, Lover Fest East + West!"

If you live outside of the U.S. and you don't see a city near you listed, don't worry — additional U.K. and international dates will be announced soon. In other, less pleasant news, no further U.S. dates have been mentioned, which means North American Swifties only have two options — at least for now.

Despite only announcing four shows in the U.S., news of a  Lover  tour, in any capacity, is quite exciting for longtime fans of the singer. It's also a relief following her recent interview with Ryan Seacrest , in which she teased that a traditional stadium tour — like the ones for  1989   and  Reputation — wouldn't be happening. "Stadiums are fun," she told Seacrest on his On Air Show. "Stadiums are amazing — I love stadiums, I just don't know if we're going to do the same thing as we did last time."

As promised, Swift's plans for this summer are certainly  different , but they're also very exciting! And if you live near L.A. or Foxborough,  or  if you're willing to travel, you better get ready.  Tickets go on sale to the public on October 14, but  Tix verified fans  can get early access on September 19.
