Superb tour of the Châteaux of the Loire

We visited a variety of beautiful chateaux of the Loire valley whilst based in a splendid former chateau - now hotel - in Charge. The visits included time for the gardens, time to recover and time to enjoy delicious evening meals and wine.

Martin Randell is an extremely good tour operator which has (again) provided an excellent holiday. The lecturer was first class and the accommodation was also excellent.

A wonderful insight into Bach and his music in his own towns and cities.

W enjoyed an expertly-led and comfortable tour over a week with 9 outstanding concerts in 5 days. Excellent and expert commentary from Sir Nicholas Kenyon.

Martin Randall Travel offers cultural tours and visits world-wide, led by experts. Outstanding hassle-free organisation.

A brilliant day in London.

4 organ recitals during the day in 4 different historic churches.

It was supremely well organised, and with a delicious lunch.

MRT - Ravenna & Urbino SG066120

Excellent throughout. Expectations fulfilled. MRT's description in its brochure was accurate as to what was actually provided.

First class at every point. Superb lecturer and most helpful and very approachable and helpful tour leader.

Martin Randall Travel

It was the experience of the lifetime. I cannot praise it highly enough

A group tour that took us to the places where Bach had worked and where we heard his music played by musicians of the very highest calibre.

An enormous amount of work had clearly gone into the preparation of this tour with a booklet describing in detail the schedule together with essays on the you places we were visiting and the music we would be hearing. The overall organisation was absolutely seamless and supervised by charming and intelligent staff. To describe the whole experience as excellent is not high enough praise

Superb Bach Festival

The tour involved travel to six towns in which J. S. Bach lived. The tour involved hotel stays in three cities, lectures by Sir Nicholas Kenyon, nine concerts by outstanding musicians, transportation by coach, and most meals.

Martin Randall is an outstanding organizer of cultural tours.

An emotional experience not to be missed.

This was an illustrated tour following the music of J.S. Bach and the places he lived and worked. The itinerary was well thought out, the concerts well programmed and the musicianship world class. Talks were very informative and delivered in a very professional, easy to follow style. Hotels were good quality and travel between locations comfortable and well organised. With everyone on the tour having such a particular interest in common, it was easy making new friends and acquaintances. This holiday exceeded my expectations, I could not have asked for more.

The bookings people were always ready to help and knowledgeable and were very flexible when I was trying to decide whether to go earlier or stay later. The on tour guides were friendly and helpful and everything was very well organised. The (198 page) book containing the itinerary and information on locations, concert and artist details, and even the menus was most comprehensive and covered every aspect of the trip and will be a valued memento.

A lovely week in beautiful venues listening to outstanding musicians.

The holiday focused on the music of J S Bach, and we visited the places in which he lived and worked, listening to outstanding musicians playing his music.

I thought the tour operator was outstanding and the organisation was brilliant. It required something like a military operation to ensure that 160 people, staying in different hotels, were in the right place (restaurant, concert hall, church etc) at the right time. The Martin Randall staff were lovely people, always pleasant and calm in the face of adversity. I thought that everything went very well and that we were looked after exceptionally well.
