"Tickets on sale from Friday this week."

In 2017, Simon, 45, confirmed he and his bandmates were back in the studio working on a follow-up to 2015's 'Colours', which was their final album released on Sony Music.

At the time, Lee, 38, was in 'EastEnders', Duncan, 43, in 'Hollyoaks' and 40-year-old Anthony was appearing in an Agatha Christie play, so the boys had limited time to work on the new tunes.

Simon said then: "We're in the studio. We did the Sunshine Festival in Worcester. We're going to Latvia tomorrow. We're constantly working, at least two or three times a month."

However, Blue admitted in 2019 that they would be focusing on live shows.

The 'Guilty' hitmaker added how he and his bandmates - who formed in 2000 and have continued to play shows over the years - keep one another grounded.

Simon - who released his first solo album in 11 years 'Smile' that October - said: "[If] the attitude is that we're getting above our station, the other three will bring you back into line. We're very, very grateful to be in the position that we are."

Blue's 2022 UK tour dates are:

Saturday 17 September – M&S Bank Arena, Liverpool

Blue Heart and Soul Tour 2022: Tickets and venues for iconic boyband's 20th anniversary

30 November 2021, 19:05 | Updated: 27 October 2022, 09:43

Facebook share

To celebrate their 20th anniversary, Blue have announced their Heart and Soul Tour - and it'll be packed with hits!

Don't miss Blue when they hit the road for a fourteen date tour next year!

The tour sees all four original members – Antony Costa, Duncan James, Lee Ryan and Simon Webbe – get together for a fun-filled epic show.

The concert will feature all the band’s hits from their 5 albums as well as some incredible surprises - and Atomic Kitten who will be opening the shows as special guest.

It's the first time that the Atomic Kitten line up of Jenny Frost, Liz McClarnon and Natasha Hamilton will have performed together in over a decade!

Blue are one of the UK's best-loved and most successful boybands.

It's been twenty years since the release of their smash hit #1 debut album, All Rise, which went on to sell over 1.4 million copies in the UK alone and was certified 4x platinum.

In a statement Blue added: “We can’t believe it’s been 20 years since All Rise, our debut album, was released. It’s been quite the ride since then and now we have so much to look forward to as we go into our third decade!

"We had a lot of time in lock down to reconnect as friends and we started thinking how we could celebrate the anniversary.

"The four of us started working on new music and it felt so good to be back doing what we love again. This time off during the pandemic also made us realise how much we missed performing live.

"We can’t wait to get back on the road and see all of you at our Heart & Soul Tour. We have been planning this tour for a while and we promise you, we’ll be putting on the best show and making it a celebratory night you won’t forget!

"We have some surprises up our sleeve for the 20th anniversary so stay tuned, 2022 is going to be a big one!”

B*Witched have reunited to join Blue on tour

The 12-date nationwide run takes place this December

B*Witched

B*Witched have announced they will join Blue on the latter’s ‘Heart And Soul’ tour this December – find tickets here .

The 90s Irish pop group – comprising Edele and Keavy Lynch, Lindsay Armaou and Sinead O’Carroll – will join the newly reunited boy band in support of their comeback album of the same name.

The 12-date nationwide run (which also celebrates Blue’s 20th anniversary) kicks off on Sunday December 4 at Cardiff’s Motorpoint Arena. From there, Blue with B*Witched will travel to Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham, Liverpool, Brighton, London, Bournemouth, Nottingham, Aberdeen and Glasgow, before ending in Newcastle at Utilita Arena on Tuesday 20.

B*Witched – best known for their 1998 single ‘C’est La Vie’ – said in a statement: “We are so excited to announce that we will be joining Blue on their ‘Heart And Soul’ arena tour in December 2022.

“We have been wanting to tour together for some time now after nicknaming ourselves Bluwitched several years ago and are thrilled it is finally happening.”

The girl group also alluded to new music, adding: “We will be bringing our hits of course but we have a new single and expect some surprises from us too!”

‘One Love’ artists Blue said of the tour: “We are really excited to be teaming up with the girls from B*Witched on our UK tour. We had great fun touring Australia and New Zealand with the girls a few years ago and we are looking forward to round two!”

Both groups had also toured together back in 2013 for ‘The Big Reunion’ alongside Five , 911, Atomic Kitten , Honeyz and Liberty X .

Blue’s ‘Heart And Soul’ – their first album in seven years – is set for release on October 28 after being pushed back from September 9. It will mark the sixth studio album from the 90s boy band, following 2015’s ‘Colours’.

Following poor sales of ‘Colours’, April 2015 saw Blue dropped by their record label , Sony, just one album into a two-album deal.

The group reunited earlier this year, releasing two singles, ‘Haven’t Found You Yet’ and ‘Dance with Me’, both lifted from the forthcoming ‘Heart And Soul’.
