We booked our trip to Krakow with Escape2Poland on line after looking at other similar sites , the website looked professional and comprehensive in what it offered.There was a wide selection of hotels on offer to suit everyone's requirements . I chose the Kazimierz 11,for it's location in the old Jewish sector where it is close to the many Bars and Restaurants all within walking distance .The hotel was a little dated but was very clean and very functional , the shower / toilet were all new and again very clean .Although I said the hotel was a little dated it felt right for the area as the building was mainly original and fitted my expectations ,quite apart from the trams which again brings in it authenticity . Very large selection of breakfasts to choose , buffet style . The pick up from the Airport was on time,a very polite driver in a newish Mercedes mini van this as with all the tours we booked was confirmed via a text message giving all the necessary details needed,brilliant . We went on the Shindlers List tour, this is a walking tour,the guild was very informative and showed us places and locations used in the film , better than the Golf buggy type, far better interaction and detail to the history of Krakow. Saltmines well worth a look , lots of history hard to believe everything is made of salt , statues,murals on the wall of the vast Ballroom chamber all done by just the miners really impressive. Auschwitz / Birkenau tour was the main reason for our trip to pay our respects to my father's family who died there , although a harrowing and grim place I feel has to been visited once . the guild was very professional and dealt with the history symptomatically . Depending when you go and time it is a busy place,it can be a little bit hard to dwell in a certain place as long as you may wish but you do cover most areas. Birkenau although there is less left standing there it is more of an eerie place as this was purely a death camp.On the day we went it was a cold wet day,with this while walking on the part cobbled part stoney muddy path from the unloading platform to the gas chambers was very surreal and sad to know that thousands had walked that path to their deaths a bright sunny day would not seem right for such a gloomy place . As a company Escape2Poland are very professional and take into account the client's needs , from helping you book or select a hotel and tours to keeping you informed by Email and text message on your booking and before any of the tours so you are at the meeting places at the right times etc , on the last day our pick up was running late , I had a personal call via the office to my mobile apologizing for this and another car was sent to us within 10 min's great service . This trip is worth doing . From pick up, the video ( harrowing ) on the bus . And the most excellent guide . She was so appropriate under the circumstances . It would be good for everyone if people did as asked . And when requested not to take photographs of certain areas , it would be respectful to listen and think about the reasons why you are being asked not to take the photographs . I was moved by the experience , and I will never forget what I saw, and the emotions I felt .

After booking our trip to Poland and two tours, everything was going according to plan until we were contacted about a change of hotel two weeks before travelling. At the time it was very disappointing but were informed the hotel was refurbishing some rooms. It was difficult to comprehend until we found out it was actually not the case but frustratingly, our booking could not be changed back. Nor did we receive a full explanation other than being told of a "miscommunication" issue so we had to make our own assumptions. However, a mention for Lukasz was helpful in trying to sort things out who removed their commission for the inconvenience. Everything else went according to plan being notified well in advance for our pick up times for trips and transfers. All in all we had a very enjoyable time and would probably use Escape 2 Poland again even considering the above. We have already recommended them to a friend and hopefully, this won't happen again !

Booked Auschwich tour on line and 3 days prior to leaving for Kraków email arrived to print off voucher. Hotel pick up on time. 1.5hours there and back. New coach which was comfy. Only disappointment was the tour was a bit to fast. The guide was polite and knowledgeable. Spoke at a good pace. Would liked more time at both camps. Felt a bit rushed. Driver polite and safe driving. Dropped back outside hotel.

We have just returned from a trip to Krakow. We arranged our airport transfers and a tour to the Salt Mines and to Auschwitz-Birkenau with Escape2Poland. They provided an excellent service in all respects. Well priced, on time, friendly drivers and great Tour Guides. Any queries I had were answered quickly prior to our trip and we received a text message for each event stating the time the transport would arrive at and it arrived right on time. The guide was really knowledgeable about the subject and shared with us many thought-proving and educational stories. Even though this tour was truly harrowing, everything inside and outside is very well preserved and definitely worth seeing.

I didn't expect to see a city almost entirely made of salt before I went below the ground in an elevator. There are some of the most amazing structures, art, and chapels all created out of salt.

It took us 2 hours to explore the whole museum and we enjoyed every single minute we spent there. Like Krakow, Schindler's factory is filled with history. We read and listened to audio recordings and viewed the many pictures.

Among many Krakow tours provided by Escape2Poland, my wife and I decided to book Schindler List Tour. We’re big fans of the Spielberg’s movie so the trip was right for us! We took many pics in the spots, where the movie was filmed.

AB Poland worked with me to completely customize my three days in Poland and make the most of my time.
